We've got the feddbacks of real people like you who are purchasing the services and products of Del Crary Park (Tourist Attraction) in the territory of Peterborough (Canada).
Now the business gets a rating of 4.5 stars over 5 and this score has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see its rating is practically the best one, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may think that the score is very reliable. If many people have bothered to rate when they are happy with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to write tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction is classified in the category of Park.
Nice location. Difficult to find parking during summer when music fest is on - even during off hours. Can be quite busy.
Great little park, protected swimming area. Free parking. And a good spot to take a kayak or SUP out of.
I'm giving this park a five star ????rating just because it's almost summer time the weather is gonna get warmer and hopefully we'll see a few more concerts in the park this year.
Awesome park. Great place to enjoy an afternoon
Very professional helpful staff. Marina well kept. Walk to grocery store and Tim's!
Great place to go and see free concerts in the park. Seen some great bands here and it's always a nice time.
Free festivals, music, celebrity concerts, art, restaurant, boats, nature, downtown. What’s not to love?
Best place to spend your evenings at Peterborough, very close to downtown , great sop for angling and fishing.
This is a nice place place to walk in the summertime. I would stick to the path because of all the duck/goose piles all over the shoreline. Lots of ducklings hang out here as well as some pretty monster carp.
Always a great visit and the locks plus water front attractions
Beautiful place for walks at night had so much fun with my friends the other day there.
What an awesome park.......it has such great artists scheduled every Sat. Free concerts, beautiful set up and great crowds. We go on our boat every weekend....and to be on the dock watching the crowds enjoying great music without an incident is not that common. I got to watched the team set up the chairs, the stage and music crew test out the their audio and seeing vendors setting up their food station from the beginning to the cleanup made me appreciate being at this marina attached to the park. All I can say is Peterborough has a hidden gem and we enjoy being here every weekend.
This place is not only in the heart of the city which allows for you to be close all the amenities for restaurants, shopping and public transit. You also have the lake as its border which allows you to see wildlife (fish & fowl mainly) and view some water activities, boating of all kind, water skiing and sea-dooing. The city representatives and community organizations use & offer this place with thoughtful concerts of well known personalities and other types of events that seem to bring out the residents with great joy. Good times. I would go back there without hesitation for an event I would be interested in. Keep it up Peterborough!
Gorgeous spot to unwind or fish off the pier.
Great place for a picnic by the water, a stroll by the lake, play frisbee or other outdoor activities, fishing!! Overall a good place for adults and children!! Enjoy ????
Always a great spot to visit and watch the boats come in
Went to the T wharf at dark to get some light painting photos. Some high and drunk 20 somethings showed up. They were courteous, but out of their minds.
Great place for a family day out. The beach is small yet very nice and quite on the day I was there. Pretty good!!!
Love it here. Volleyball to frisbee to camping. They have it all. A snack bar is a nice touch as well. The combination of forested woodland to open fields for running is a bigtime plus for us. Just feels good to come here.
It's spacious, there's concerts in the summer, you have a beautiful fountain in the lake, there's a dock off to the side, it's a good park. Lots of pokestops. Nice to stroll from here down the path behind Holiday Inn and down into Millennium park. But 10/10 the best way to experience this is to kayak right underneath the fountain!
Great music during the summer. Fire works on the big holidays and nice walking trails. My favorite place to sit and reflect so peaceful.
Beautiful, Serene and one of the most amazing places to be in Peterborough! ❤️
A very beautiful and lovely park by the lake side at Peterborough.. Attended the Canada day celebrations here.. Loved this place a lot..
Del crary Park is a lovely park for an afternoon stroll along the Lake. There is fishing there, entertainment, a pub and much more. If you're looking for a place to take the family, this is a great place to take a look at. There are also places where you can rent Kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards not too far from there as well. There is also a Marina there for you to dock your boat at. If memory serves, there was also a place to get fuel for your boat.
Great place for festivals and hanging out by the lake.
Beautiful Del Crary Park on Trent River in Peterborough, Ontario free summer concerts Wednesdays and Saturdays

Seating with views@ bar Close to nightlife..walking distance to all amenities Boat docs Fireworks& a colored water fountain at night..kids love it! Icecreme Vendors Bouncycastles for kids Face painting Beachfront Always a great time & free admission... Entertainment priceless ..lol
Great place to picnic! Beautiful scenery of Little lake
Beautiful spot to walk your dog, but can get a little overcrowded if your looking for a quiet park to relax in. And it'd be nice if everyone cleaned up after themselves and their dogs, but I find that common in any public park space.
Great open area with lots of room for live events
This is a decent park. They've been having a lot of public concerts which are fun and good for the community. The art gallery is also there along with a marina and bar/ restaurant / ice cream shop.
Very beautiful views and well maintained. People are prone to littering here but I always see park staff working to clean the area. Lots of activities held here in the summer time. Steps away from the Art Gallery and the Marina.
Great place for warm weather events right by Little Lake in Peterborough Ontario. Don't miss out on free music concerts on Wednesday and Saturday during the months of July and August.
Just love this park. Right in the heart of our town of Peterborough. Free concerts in the summer months and great for walking at little lake. You could not ask for a Greener place in any city.
Nice gardens and good view of little lakt
Nice open greenspace for relaxing by the water, shoreline fishing, watching ducks, or listening to free concerts at the Peterborough MusicFest. Public washrooms at the restaurant and beside the Art Gallery of Peterborough. Not a ton of parking spaces in the lot, but we encourage people to walk to the park anyway.
One of the beautiful lakeside park in Peterborough, well maintained.
This is a great park for wandering around and wasting the afternoon away.
Beautiful small park with an auditorium. Parking is not free during week days.
Good area in Peterborough always something going on... We are there on yoga day and lots of fun and activities for all ages....
Very well maintained by city, holds free entertainment Wednesday and Saturday evenings plus day events ( ... Summer) ..Great view of tallest water fountain which displays many colours, large area for parking .. wheel chair accessible ... Lots of boat docking, close to many different shopping stores - restaurants - Holiday Inn ... Benches to sit on.. Art Gallery... Beautiful place to just relax and enjoy the view ..many ducks dwell in the llittle lake :) ))
I is an amazing, astonishing place for everything . U better come and see this...
Marina and large park. Great place to walk around the lake or dine in on the waterfront, free parking on evenings and weekends, the only problem is the signs indicating no dog on grass!
We really appreciate the free music. We greatly miss the weekly fireworks and what we usually get for fireworks when they happen can be ok or just terrible. The bands are getting better but they really need a better sound and lighting guy. We went to see the crash test dummies and the audio was a nightmare. It's like it was his first show. But Atleast it's something :)
I love all of the public seating available near the water. Great place for picnics, to sit and read or just look out at the fountain.
One of the best places to visit in Peterborough ????
My first time in this place. So cool, clean and well maintained... so beautiful, great place for all ages... with free parking areas...
One of downtown Peterborough's nicest places.
Nice music and nice mallards
Great place for a paddle!
Kids love going down to the marina to watching the ducks , play on the stage and in the big field then we can get ice creme right at the marina or millienium park after our nice walk from del crary along the trail
One of the best place in Peterborough to visit and relax near water body. Boating is also available and ducks do swim here. People who swims here at their own risk. Huge fountain, which looks good. Also, sometimes some events also takes place here which are really cool. Looking forward for Canada Day event here.
This is Peterborough’s Pedelboro - a great tourist attraction . It can carry 14 passengers and everyone peddles through town on a Pub Crawl- waving, blowing horns having a fabulous time. We rode through Del Crary Park it was beautiful along the waters edge. Look out for it next time in Peterborough ( May1-October 31) and hop aboard for a great tour of downtown Peterborough and do the Pub Crawl. It’s a blast!
What a beautiful view and location to have a picnic with family and friends. It's a perfect spot to sit quietly and observe nature or to practice yoga with so much nature around you. ????????
Excellent place to go during summer for a free concert and they put on a varity of entertainment, folk, country, pop, rock and more. Peteaborough is open to alot of things to see and do but this one of the highlights for young amd old with the hole family.
Nice place to take a walk and see the water and some ducks. Nice gardens
Large, grass was well maintained, flowers were great.
Nice park right on the lake, gorgeous view of the lake and next to the marina, has a band shell and bands play regularly during the summer. As long as there is a band playing and you want to relax this is an excellent place to go for relaxation.
So much better since the Fountain was turned back on.... Now, just waiting for the concerts to fire up again!!!!!
Great place to visit all summer long! Free live concerts and amazing fireworks.
Love Fishing the area for Bass,Musky & Walleye
Great when it's running in the summer but with the teens who cause problems makes it hard for family's to enjoy it
Nice place for a walk or to sit with friends. Over the summer they have bands and the musicfest and fireworks displays. Also two there is a marina there for boats. All year round it is a nice little place to visit. And it has parking which is still free surprisingly. Its situated in the downtown area of Peterborough and ia in a walking distance to other shops and services. Was there this year for the multicultural musicfest and it was pact and they also has some good food vendors there.
Nice park, but more importantly a huge hub in the summer for concerts and fireworks. Lots of shoreline to wander but not particularly interesting otherwise.
Awesome place to just hangout. So fun to see what ìs happening.
Great Park with clean public bathrooms, great access to the riverfront and a huge amphitheatre for shows. We attended Peterborough MusicFest which featured a tribute to Bob Seger. It was awesome.
As far as outdoor space goes it's decent, although I've seen a number of people drinking publicly, not only this I tried holding my bf hand while on a date and was chased for 10mins by some meth addict with no teeth saying gays are an abomination. So I would not say this area or Peterborough in general is safe for LGBTQ2 community
Good place for community events
Attended the Music Fest's concert and had a great time. The sound quality was quite good and the entire event was free of charge!
Great place to be on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the summertime when it hosts the Peterborough Music Fest - free concerts with notable artists. Also a great place to be on Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sunday if you enjoy being in a park and looking at a pretty water fountain. Good meeting ground as it is central and hosts various cultural events. Also the pickup location for the riverview cruises.
Great free concerts Wednesdays and Saturdays all summer. The waterfront and marina with restaurant are good. Not a lot of shade during the day.
Nice stage. Good audio. Watched under a patio umberella in reclined patio chairs in pouring rain. Dry. Snacks. Then the lightening ended the show. Great memory.
A nice place to walk around and enjoy nature along Peterborough's vast waterfront.
Nice open space. We enjoyed watching the boats come & go from the lovely little marina next to it.
Great park. Love the free concerts during music fest. Big names for a small town. Always lots going on here especially on holidays. Very kid friendly. Boat rentals would be nice though.
It's really good place to hangout with family & friends. I usually go there.
It's a nice park for a stroll along the water or to go for Music Fest or other festivals/celebrations in the summer. There's a small window where they serve ice cream and a restaurant (haven't been in before). The restrooms are usually pretty clean even during peak times/festivals in the park.
Absolutely love being at Del Crary Park, especially on the beautiful days where you can go down and enjoy the lake view!! ????
Big open field that sometimes becomes a music festival, with a winding path by the water that leads downtown, and a cafe on it. Rather scenic Lakeview with a number of docks.
Best city to visit and hike bike around city
I love Crary park. Free concerts every Wednesday and Saturday all summer long, with a huge celebration, parade, face painting and music with fireworks every Canada day! Along the waterfront of little lake in the centre of town.
Amazing, celebrating Canada Day 150 listening to Kim Mitchell playing at Musicfest.
Nice areas to sit down on the grass, on the benches or the picnic tables and look out on the water. The fountain is very entertaining to watch. The ducks can get very close to you if you have food.
Awesome Free concerts all summer! Shame that the police can't solve the cigarette smoke problem though ????
Park is just minutes away from the downtown and is just by the lake. Worth paying visit in summer as many music fest are organized by that time.
Great place for picnics and the annual summer events hosted there (e.g. yoga festival), but there is not a playground so if you're bringing kids with you, bring something to entertain them with.
Great local park and mostly clean
Great place to enjoy your walk your pets lots of Benches to sit down then walk the path of halloffamers or read. Book take in this great beautiful view
Beauty surrounds you. Boats parked at the dock. Path of fame, which has the names of people who have made a real impact on Peterborough, river cruise that takes you up the Trent lift locks,Trees to shade, picnic tables, space to run or sit and be quite.
We go to the park during the summer music festival. The park is well attended by the community and kept clean while we have been there. There is a visible police presence which keeps unruly people in line and crime down The biggest draw back is the lack of parking, especially accessible parking for people with disabilities. We have been blocked in by other cars a few times.
Nice atmosphere, not even a little bit crowded.
Nice place to bring lunch from nearby restaurants and sit at picnic table or benches to have lunch and watch the water and boats
Nice place to visit. Musicfest in the park too. We took lift lock and river boat Cruise.
Beautiful spot throughout the year
Fantastic wide open space for plenty of activities, Musicfest is a big hit with anyone in town. Lots of small restaurants nearby to grab a quick bite and a beautiful lake to fish and boat in
Beautiful for events, concerts, festivals, family picnics, canoeing or just a nice walk along the waters' edge. Even a spot for a meal, a beverage or an icecream. Serene, with nice shaded areas. Enjoy the park every time.
We have been going to Del Crary Park for a very long time. It is always clean. So many places to sit and watch the birds and the boats. It has so many amazing events there. We have been to many free concerts. We have been to fireworks. We take our son down the to fly his kite. We always have so much fun and that is why we keep coming back for sure.
Great spot for musicfest or stuff going on on little lake.
Peterborough had done a nice job of developing their riverfront. This is looking northward from a nearby railway bridge. In the near distance is the Silver Bean cafe overlooking the River. Their menu features very good coffee,a nice sandwich/salad selection and some cakes and bars as dessert treats. The service was polite and very attentive. Not only must food taste good but it has to be asthetically pleasing. That was accomplished here.
Beautiful little park and waterfront area for a quick stroll. There looks to be a few permanent park residents that were laying around, drinking and littering in some areas. This may deter visitors from feeling safe walking around .
Fantastic outdoor concerts. Visibility is great.
It is a Beautiful Little Park on the Water. & that's just It the WATER , Polluted by Watercraft & people ! This may b a Downer But I Do Not Beat Around the Bush !! The city of peterborough Must du a Better Job !!
Attended the Drag Boat races at the park. Lots of activities during this time. Beautiful view around Little Lake Park maintained well
A beautiful park in the heart of the city. Great festival area. Lovely view of the lake. Good place to have a picnic. Lots restaurants nearby to take out from.
Always fresh and quick. Love the Big Tac!
Beautiful Park for Musicfest, but a strictly enforced no dog zone. We were immediately "kicked out" with all other dog owners and made to stand in the parking lot. It's unfortunate that the many people with fury friends cannot attend the events at Del Crary.
They're are FREE great outdoor concerts all summer long. A few of the shows I've seen are Ronnie Hawkins, Gordon Lightfoot, Blue Rodeo and Great Big Sea.
Amazing place! Lots of free music festivals throughout the summer, big part of the Peterborough community hosting numerous events annually. Right along side little lake there s a little something for everyone to enjoy
Absolutely beautiful day to be outside, we went kayaking and relaxed in the shade of the trees afterwards. With Covid, things are different. Like the fountain not being on and musicfest not having concerts but it's still a beautiful place to sit by the water!
The Canadian side, the best place to view Niagara Falls.
Great open space held an amazing concert that fit hundreds of people would highly recommend going to see the concerts and even when there arent any concerts, great spot to take kids to play in the beautiful open field.
Great spot for a leisurely lunch. Large portions and very good.
I love sitting in my car and enjoying the beauty of Del Crary park. It's even delightful to sit in the car or on a bench, have lunch and enjoy the beauty. So why not a 5 rating? The awesome fountain isn't turned on. It was suggested to me that Ptbo did this to discourage tourists during Covid. Really?? I miss this simple beauty and the lovely lights, especially during Covid. The irony, the pic of the park features the very fountain we can only imagine ... sheesh.
A beautiful and a peaceful park...greak view of the little lake.
Sheepdogs were playing a free show and it was fantastic and I am so happy that this is happening for the people of peterborough. They played a whole show and did an encore. Many people attended and I certainly will attend again. They have had many acts for music in the park ( musicfest) such as Billy Talent, Trooper, Sebastion Bach, Our Lady Peace and many other amazing acts!
nice park. but that is one ugly fountain in the middle of a very pritty peaceful little lake
We go there alot. Concerts and to walk near the lake
Very exciting park always lot's to do ,every Saturday and Wednesday through out the summer there is a free concert!
Really nice for a park so close to downtown, very manicured no real nature but I did see a bever last time I went by.
A nice grassy spot by Little Lake, next to the Peterborough Art Gallery, but bring your own blanket and chairs, and if you're sensitive to the sun I'd suggest packing an umbrella for shade. Nearby restaurants and walking trails, as well as a dock to launch a kayak, canoe or paddleboard, and bike riding friendly.
Beautiful park downtown in the heart of Peterborough. I live in this city and my wife and I like to take the time to walk through the park at least once a month or so and see the ducks. Duck crossing on main street Peterborough is just normal in this city, beautiful place to live, and great to visit for people that live in the bigger cities that want to escape the hustle. In the summer they have music festival on Wednesday night and Saturday nights. I will post a picture of the list of musicians who are playing this year (2019).
The best "amphitheater" I have seen a group in. I have seen 12 shows..night/day..seated at different areas..in crowds as large as 20.000. And the sound was great!
Del carry park is the host of our Peterborough manifest each summer, free concerts by top artists on Wednesday and Saturday every week, come and enjoy the talent
Such a wonderful park to enjoy,Delcrary park with is great water front with a cozy Relaxation as you explore or just feel the spirit of music ever Wednesday at 7: oo pm to 11:00 pm and saterday 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Starting in July 1on Canada day til August 21' the. For 21 days of free music.top Canadian bands and local as well, Jurneny to Peterborough this summer. Bye now.
Very nice and clean park. Very friendly people and lots of space for fun and there is really nice goose
Gorgeous place for a summer concert. A wide open park right on the water in the heart of downtown Peterborough. You can't ask for more. There is a marina and restaurants right there. Also a wonderful place to spend an afternoon outside enjoying the lake.
Nice trail, nice parks, Great view at night with the fountain.
Nice park by the lake, just south of downtown. Good spot for a picnic. Location of Musicfest, free concert series on Wednesdays and Saturdays through the summer.
Good sized park, well maintained. Lots to see with amenities nearby.
Excellent place for hang out with a friend and family
Nice place to go but usually very busy. Lots of litter and sketchy people
What a beautiful location in the heart of Peterborough. It has everything - located very close to downtown with all the bustle and activity. Plenty of greens and a large waterbody with a kind of fountain. You can take your boat out too if you have one. That night MAGIC had performed and the setting was like one from a commercial.
At the Multicultural Festival on Canada Day 2019.
We had a picnic lunch there. Peaceful with a nice breeze except for the waterfowl that kept approaching and had left alot of "gifts" everywhere.
Marion seems to be good at what he does, I personally have only seen him change tires
Wonderful. Took in the Dwayne Gretzky nite of Peterborough Music Fest. We are up o In "Cottage County " and stumbled on this . Every Wednesday and Saturday night thru summer there is a free concert in the park starting at 8:00 pm. Great music, lots if space. Food vendors if you need a bite. Bring your own chairs, or you can rent one for four but. Very nice surprise to discover this, and very enjoyable.
Love this spot, day or night! Remember when feeding the ducks, use oatmeal or seed. Bread has no nutritional value for them. Enjoy!
What I loved about this place was the old trees, the park like setting, and the amazing relaxed energy this place exuded! Everybody just looked like they were enjoying themselves. As well, there was an amazing water park for kids. I truly felt all the stresses of life dissipate from me, while I was there... the beach itself though was rather unremarkable, and it had a fair bit of algae in the designated swimming area.
Peterborough Music fest is always a fun night. Not only for the entertainment value, but also the feeling of community. Grab your lawn chairs and come out on a Wednesday or Saturday sit back and enjoy.
