Amazing park and well worth the boat ride from Perce and the 1 hour hike to the other side of the island to see these amazing birds. There are multiple trails available on the island the fastest one to the birds would be the Colonies trail. It is 2.6 km one way which fairly steep sections and stairs at the beginning. There are bathrooms at the mid point and at the colony. Also there is a snack bar which may be closed depending on weather. Check with the park office before you head off.

This is an incredible place. One of the most special places in Canada for sure. I have never seem so many birds and so up close. The colony is over 240,000 gannets. It's a loud, smelly, and one-of-a-kind experience. Bring your camera! The walk is a comfortable one-hour hike from the dock.
