REVIEWS OF Geopark - Pavilion Tektonik IN Percé

Nelson Da Costa

Clean. Quiet. Not far from beach, restaurants and attractions. Not clear enough on website about dogs in the Parc. They are allowed in the Parc but not in the tents. We were unpleasantly surprised ????

Kush Kawale

Mesmerizing lookout of the Gaspe Bay.

Mike S

Beautiful, peaceful, calm place to enjoy.

Hirosh Abeywardane

Great view of the Rock

Paul Nicholson

Hiked from the parking lot to the glass platform. The platform was worth it. Zipline is closed for Covid. Recommend the short magical forest trail with kids - it really is a unique setting among warped cedars and unusual rocks that our daughter felt was truly magical. We noted that many hikers do not care about physical distancing or wear masks when distance can't be maintained. Also many are taking shortcuts on paths and destroying some of the hillside.

Alexandra

Visited during off season (November). They are definitely investing a lot in making the area more tourist friendly, with great signals, buildings and organized areas. The trails have little information boards sharing quick facts of the region history! + there are boards to protect and preserve nature. Definitely would visit again ☺️

Ahmed Chahboune

Nice adventure , very good service

Joseph Talbot, Royal LePage Locations North, Broke

This was a great place to visit. Only issue was it was all in French unlike most of Canada which is in both French and English

Gérald JOSEPH-ALEXANDRE

Really nice park and the zipline is very very nice !!!! I love it !

Ferris S-R

The zip was fun but the customer service was preposterous the employee in charge of the zip line was rude, short with people, and very hostile. This does NOT make me want to return to this place ever again

Loredana Oiegas

Wonderful experience, the view is breath-taking.. On the top of the platform you will have a surprise ???? ????

Daniel Dribin

Nice, but the parking machine is horrible, and everyone is stuck on paying the parking

debra adamson

Well if you are 7 years should work. Not a Geo Park.

gaurav rauthan

Lovely place with a lot of facilities. Very well maintained grounds with information available for the trails around the place. Specifically great if you have a electric car as they offer free charging stations with parking. Lot of camping grounds available and tents you can book for your stay.

Mili Castro

Information is confusing.

Reserve in advance as it would be filled up

Jeremy Kurtin

To expensive for the view. I would have enjoyed it more but $25 each just to go up and view what you see driveing from the south. Save your money and go for a drive.

Jean-François Turcotte

Not worth the asking price. The Tektonik exposition has a few nice visual displays, but is overall pretty lacking in actual content.

We visited this place when it first open in 2017. There is a navette that can bring you up if you are not able to do the hike. The hike is beautiful, the trail is very lush. We even found picnic tables inside. Directions are clear and the paths are well marked. Once you are on the platform the view is breathtaking and amazing! There are chairs and a small bar for drinks. We would definitely go again!

The glass platform is very over priced. The zip line is quite short too. The road to the geo points are lack of maintenance. You will need a 4x4 to get to most of them.

We called to ask about the Tektonik show in English and were told it was open. We drive 50 mins from Gaspe and when we arrived at the InfoCentre we were told that the English show would be at 15:30. We then stopped at the Geoparc and the person told us to come back at 1600. It was a rainy day and the only reason we travelled to Perce that day was to see the Tektonik so we hung around with nothing really to do in the rain and fog and returned at 1600. The same person we had talked to now said the English show was now at 1700. We were very unhappy and had wasted an entire day waiting. This lack of knowledge is not acceptable and ruined our entire day.

Sreenivas Katragadda

This is the point to start hikes into the hills behind Perce. Parking, rest rooms, information....

Krina T

Went to suspension glass, did zip line. Awesome view from the suspension glass. Worth paying the ticket price ????. Zip line was shorter in distance but definitely fun ????.

K Klay

What a beautiful place. Huge thanks for Nicole and her husband for hosting me

Johanne Lefebvre

Loved the clip line and the Skywalker

PT Drone Adventures, NB

Hard to beat the scenery. Even off season when 90% of the town is shut down it's still a fun place to visit.

Sara Johnson

The actual installations are amazing but I went on a weekday and it was full of students from a class trip - they were loud and running everywhere and it was impossible to properly experience what they had to offer

John Ross

The staff is super friendly, our four season tent was totally fine, nothing fancy but you're camping. Good facilities for showers and toilets. Super short walk to pier, bars and hiking trails. It was such an enjoyable stay.

Alexe Nault

Really nice, but the activities are expensive

Vibhor Garg

Vantage point to look at Perce Rock, Bonaventure Island and Perce City in single frame.

Matthew Samuel Matthews

Lovely

Jason Pardy

This is a museum only rating... It was decent, a little overpriced for what you get. I also wouldn't bri ng a larger family. I think it should be a bit cheaper.

Mi M

Hiking trails are good , wouldn't bother with the shuttle or the platform

Mathieu Meunier

Veeery nice place. Awesome views. Awesome place to take pictures. It’s a must place to go. The park itself is awesome. Small trails going inside the park. It was mindbending. We had a little pic-nic there. There is a shuttle that takes u there and brings you back

Michael Morin

Great place for an adventure with the entire family. kids played in rope garden; later we walked the trails to the top of the glass bottom lookout, and did the zipline. Exellent mountain and sea views.

Alex Whalen

Great national park. Free of charge for hicking. You can pay for parking and it will give you a discount on the glass plateforme. More than 20km of hiking paths. Well maintain

Guy Penard

Nice place to go

jane karam

The hike is nice and the views up top are beautiful but the zipline is completely worthless... you slide in between the trees so you don't get to enjoy any of the wonderful views.

Alexandre Levesque

I tried the "tektonik" presentation. The multimedia/art people did a great job... but the information/science people where either not consulted or ignored. Basically, the visual effects are pretty good, but the presentations are 95% pointless gibberish. For example, they will say useless blah blah for 50 sec (i am the ghost of that girl, the rocks speaks, if you listen they will tell you stuff, blah blah blah", then say there are fossils in the rocks around here... end of the presentation. What kind of fossils? Why does it matters? What do they look like? No information whatsoever... Almost all of their little presentation are worthless speeches with shiny light all to say nothing valuable in the end. There was only a short one about the trip le rocher percé took around the earth throughout millions of years which was interesting... and lasted about 1 min. What an absolute waste of time and ressources. They really could have done something great with the multimedia ressources they had, but they made garbage out of it.

Giselle Zuñiga

Amazing views and beautiful park! My favorite trail was the magic forest. Totally worth it

KINAM CHOI
