So dirty beach is a mess and the bridge to the point has a massive hole for breaking ankles. Also make sure no to trip over the half-burried steel hazards. Nice view

This is your quintessential secret locals beach. Just a few minutes from highway 400. Lifeguards in summer. Snack bar, washrooms. Sand beach and play area for kids. Great views of the lake. Wonderful exercise trail adjacent to beach if you need a walk. Dog beach available too...just walk a few minutes south along the exercise trail.

We stopped here for our kids aged 2 and 5 as a pit stop. There is plenty of parking, washrooms, a sandy beach with life guards, a playground (playscape, 2 3 slides, swings) as well as hiking paths. It is not crowded and you can walk out onto a point by crossing a small wooden bridge. There are also 2 benches out on the rocks so you can really get a beautiful view of the lake. There are also anchors that are placed for viewing with historical significance.

Beautiful view of the big sound. Nice waves on windy days. Public bathroons and a playground. Lovey walk out to the point where benches offer a fantastic view if the water. Love feeding the seagulls here when thevwind is high. Definately a great place to go for a walk, or a swing or a swim.

I feel like this beach would be better if the water level was lower at the time we visited. Half of the beach was wet mucky sand. There is a nice park and little nature walk that our kids enjoyed. Not very busy at all considering it was during Canada day long weekend. Definately family friendly.

Fantastic spot. Not overly crowded and water was great! Beach area is very nice. Very enjoyable even though this is a smaller beach. Get here early enough and enjoy some private time. Enough parking near the beach although later in the day might be tougher to find a parking spot. Picnic area is pretty extensive and views are great.

Wow, the beach is really neglected and unkempt: just disgusting mud and swill water. No beach sand to be found.

Been coming to parry sound for many years , it a very nice, calm, beautiful place but this year the tide was high, water was very dirty and pretty much all beaches gone.

This is an incredibly beautiful public beach on a well defined public walking trail. Brilliant work by the Town of Parrt Sound to create this access! Great for biking, running or walking the dog. Amazing vistas of the lake and lots of little spots to go off trail and explore. Two beaches we saw were super nice. Also on this Waterfront trail see a base for Canadian Coast Guard and home to a performing arts centre.

Amazing, relaxing beach with a volleyball net, plenty of room to bask in the sun or play in the water. Have been here many times and it's always a great experience! There are washrooms on-site and a park as well. Additionally, there is a big parking lot free of cost. There's also a trail which runs through here for hiking with people or pets.

Perfect place for a picnic with kids! Nice sandy beach area with lifeguards during the summer. Playground area with a climber, slide and lots of swings. Bathroom building onsite (very clean). Also next to fitness trail along the waterfront. A great spot for day out!

It is a very beautiful beach with great facilities of washroom, lifeguard, picnic table and fresh clean water. We were on the way home from Sudbury and we stopped at this beach for short relaxing & swimming. We wished to stay longer. And for sure, we're going to return back next summer.

The town should fix this beach & should have been on top of this !!! It is already July & the sand is soaked on 3/4 of beach, add 50 loads of sand is what should be done tax payers pay for a proper beach for the kids & anyone else who likes to use this ! & should be cleaned alittle more around all of beach area

One of the best spots in Parry Sound. Life guard patrolled in the summer. Great for kids and adults. The price is right. Volleyball, swimming, play ground, change rooms, restrooms and spacious beach.
