Average Rating:

DESCRIPTION

You will be able to see all the feddbacks of people who buy the services and products of Oshawa Museum (Tourist Attraction) in Oshawa (Canada).

At the moment the business has a score of 4.3 stars over 5 and that score is based on 127 reviews.

You may have noticed that the average of ratings that it reaches is good, and it is founded on a very high number of opinions, so we can be pretty sure that the score is very credible. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are happy with the business, it works.

As you know, we do not usually stop to set tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

REVIEWS OF Oshawa Museum IN Oshawa

Even though it wasn't open, we still had a chance to check out the buildings and read the various signs posted to get a sense of the history.

My daughter and I had a fun time at the family day event. The staff was super friendly and cheerful, they talked with and showed us the different clothes and the artefacts. Thank you for the fun family day

They need to make the experience more realistic to the period. The Curator wouldn't accept any historical lighting display suggestions for the houses.

Usually I jump off the pier with my phone in a waterproof bag. I find more pokemon when I'm actually in the water than when I'm on the pier.

This place always has something to offer when I visit. Interesting conversations with knowledgeable staff, opportunity to dig through the archives, engaging public programs and of course the pleasure of walking through exhibitions in these beautiful historic buildings. It's always nice to see a great view of lake Ontario as a bonus!

Surprisingly it was alright. This place showed us how the first few settlers in Oshawa lived. So the houses are over 150 years old. They did say the houses are just a bit older than Canada. But it was an interesting experience. Life was difficult 150 years ago to say the least... This place is good to take the kids. The staff is friendly. I am not sure about the prices because we went with a group. They even have audio tours in the case that there isn't a guide. 4 stars because I feel the tour was a bit short and there wasn't enough to see.

It's a set of three small historical houses which were built on the Lakeside in the 1800's. The main house has a tiny gift shop, offices, and a few paintings and artifacts donated from some of the first families of Oshawa. Five bucks per person gets you a tour of the other two houses- one a schoolhouse (very neat! Kids got a kick out of it -"what's a Dunce cap?" ????) and the other the "rich" home of an old prominent family. The museum is located right next to the beach and there's a playground with splash pad, the harbour, and paths to walk down if you want to spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the outdoors. Parking is free, and lot is within a block of the museum. Not a bad way to pass an afternoon. Staff is very friendly and laid back.

Very Disappointed. I drove 45 minutes on a Sunday to check out the museum because the website says they are open till 4pm. Arrived to find all the doors were locked and no one was around. Obviously someone didn’t show up for work that day.

Oshawa pier is a great place for locals to go on a nice day. It is dog friendly, so lots of animals will be running around and walking the pier. Although the water is usually green, it is a great place to go for peace of mind and even some cute pics! Big boats drive by constantly which is great for watching huge machines moving through the water????
