Now the business gets a score of 4.6 over 5 and that rating is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is nearly the best one, and it is founded on a very high number of scores, so we may conclude that the assessment is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to give scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction corresponds to the category of City park.
Park is clean and city staff is always on patrol to ensure safety and cleanliness of the patrons and park. Huge space to enjoy nature with a great, up-close view of the lake.
Beautiful setting, lush green park by lake Ontario. They have washroom facilities, sitting arrangements and plenty of parking spots. BBQ is not allowed in the park. There is a nice playing area for children. Highly recommended for families.
This is one of the decently maintained public space. The beach is clean, grass, trees, parking and everything else is regularly maintained. It even has a way for wheelchair accessible beach space. Something you dony see other cities ha e adopted to yet. I would definately visit this place with or without kids, restrained pets, elders and physically challenged members.
The city does a pretty good job of keeping the park clean and well groomed. There could be a few more benches around, as they go quickly on weekends, when most people would be using the park. Also, there are very few recycling stations, and they're scattered randomly around the park, but not necessarily in the same place all the time. Most parks have a recycling station next to every trash station. Other than these small issues, it's a great place to take the family, walk the dog, or just enjoy the lakefront views.
Beautiful and peaceful... but too crowded I felt
Ample parking space, open park with lots of space to enjoy with family. For Covid beach was closed. Washrooms were open and clean. I loved the plsce
Beautiful place. BBQ is not allowed. Close to lake. Sufficient parking space
Nice place. However, flies will irritate your stay ????... Very annoying!
Great for full day picnicking, lots to do for entire family...
Very pleasant. Nice view of the lake.
Beautiful park by the Lake. Love walking around here.
Fabulous Park! Loved it! Our puppy enjoyed it too!!
It has 2 baseball fields close together with a parking lot between them... it has washrooms on site also between the 2 fields.. The park is well maintained. It has a concession stand on site. There is shade behind the fields. I was there for a baseball tournament and my family enjoyed it.
Lovely place to take a walk, spend time with nature or meet with friends. Good for kids as they have swings and places to run about. The main playground is undergoing renovation. The washrooms are open. The mood here is always lively with groups playing music, families having a picnic and kids playing around. The Oshawa beach is just a stone's throw.
Beautiful open spaced park close to the water with plenty of sit down spots. Clean and quiet, nice paths and bike trails only a few steps from the water
Pretty good playground although its starting to look a bit run down. One splash feature. Lots of picnic benches and trees for shade. Gets very busy.
Great park !!! Walkway is always clean. Massive playground for the young one's...restaurant with bar, banquet hall and clean public washrooms. Not to mention baseball diamonds and Soccer fields Gallor. Sandy beach in the summer time. Beautiful scenery in the winter
Well maintained. Have enough space so you get to spend good time with your family maintaining distance from others. Very clean.
Easy parking in a large spatious parking lot (not having to worry about someone "dinging" your car), a stone's throw away from. Not busy, given Covid-19 restrictions. Great place to enjoy a sunrise or sunset.
Beautiful Park, with a stunning view and a small white sand beach. Lot of trees, benches and tables for picnics. A really nice playground with a fountain for kids to play in the hot weather.
Fantastic park. The city has done a wonderful job preserving this park so it can be enjoyed by young and old.
It was fun but beach is all blocked
A beautiful, huge park. There are lots of benches along the way facing the lake; would be lovely just to sit and enjoy the beauty. Picnic tables are there, too! Abunbant parking. It was a bit chilly today due to the lake effect, so couldn' explore much. Looking forward to going there in spring/summer!
Nice quiet, clean park with great view of the lake and decent beach.
The wives were pretty, but its very short side walk, and a lot of small black flies, have to were face mask, otherwise they went right in your mouth
Nice park beside the lake, at this moment beach is closed and many plastic orange around the area
Been going here for years with my family, great beach, they have a nice splash pad up the hill for the kids, an eatery as well, further up the hill a small bluffs where you can park and watch the water. Its beautiful.
What a marvelous place! It's currently undergoing upgrades to the playground area to include a splash park, but this park/beach is absolutely beautiful. It would be great if the locals cherished it and stopped tossing their damn cigarette butts all over the park and beach, but what can you expect from filthy Oshawa residents
It has everything you need to spend the whole day. Playground, cool splash pad, beach, long picnic area, nice Lakeview. We enjoyed the day. Wanna come again.
Always a wonderful place to walk on a nice day, or even a dreary day. Perfect for doing Pokemon Go, walking with a friend, or just going to the park. The historical buildings are also beautiful. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Also saw many many monarch butterflies.
Attended the Oshawa Autofest this past weekend. Such a great place for a car show.
Usually quiet. Baseball diamonds and soccer fields. Great paths leasing to the beach and pier. Best fries in Durham region. Lots of parking and shade on the hits days.
Beautiful park! Great place to spend the morning having breakfast!
beautiful views great walking area a must see
This park is so nice and serene, you will forget how ghetto the rest of Oshawa is.
Went to check out the Carfest. It's great if you love veteran cars. Otherwise not much to do. They had some entertainment for kids but they will get bored anyhow.
Beautiful walk in the park, located in a quiet place away from the city madness. A walk to the Lighthouse is very enriching...surrounded by water.... watching cargo ships docked many a times. Beautiful color of sky, sunset, sparkling water, picnic area. You can also walk up the Hill ( good for cardio, LOL!) and take a breathtaking view of GTA... on a clear day, you can see CN Tower! Picnic, kids playground, heritage houses, bus facility, parking, baseball ground, joggers heaven, patio restaurant...this place offer everyone something to enjoy!!!
Beautiful park by the lake . There is a small beach and plenty of parking near by. Small Eatery and restrooms were open. Lifeguard was present in summer when we went there.
Very nice park. Beach is great with lifeguards on duty. Splash pad is really cool
Clean, lots of space and relaxing. No barbecues or cooking allowed. Food can be purchased from a concession and there is patio service. Lots of parking areas throughout the park. Kids playground and splash pad. Spend an hour or a day. Perfect place for a picnic.
Love that the beaches now open. Free swimming is always awesome. Excited that they're limiting how many people get to be on the beach so when you go it's not crowded in any way shape or form. I had a wonderful day with me in my kids. will be back
Nice park with lake views))) Spacious playground for kids)))
Great park space with adequate parking, close by sporting facilities for soccer, baseball, and football. Small restaurant and pub on site called The Jude. Places for picnicking located in shaded areas and access to the beach on Lake Ontario.
Great place to walk. Staff have done an amazing job keeping it clean. Short walk along the beach, longer walk around the perimeter or even further across the road through the old marina area. Pathways are accessible. Washrooms are open.
Nice little park but there always ghetto fabulous people around. Reminds me of Toronto parks as I lived there for 30yrs. Still cool place to chill and have a beer at the restaurant.
Great place, enjoyed the beach and the park.
Beautiful day by the lake side.
Lots of Canadian geese with a few loons on the perimeter. Lakeview park has something for everyone, but bring on spring those birds look cold.
Great for fishing and letting the kids play at the park!
Beautiful day at the park. Enjoyment spoiled by people not social distancing when walking. 60% complying 40% not. Saw 3 policemen at start of walking path standing close together gabbing. Didn't see them on way back about 30 min later. No enforcement. Some people had gone under the chain link fence marked "danger" to sit on beach. A family of 8 were having a picnic, including blankets spread on ground, on the deck overlooking the lake. No room for anyone else. I can only imagine what it will be like on Saturday and Sunday. What a shame.
Lovely place to enjoy the sunny weather, there's also a splash pad, playground, change rooms, bathrooms, park benches and a board walk among other things. If you want to grab a bite to eat, there is a small diner and another burger place across the beach for some food. There is also a hot dog and ice cream truck, so even if you make a spur of the moment plan to come to the beach, there's lots to do and things to eat! There are two medium-sized parking lots where you can park for free but for just 4 hours which I think is enough amount of time to enjoy the beach. Come down and have a great afternoon :)
What a great park! Lots of space. Beautiful mature shade trees. Nice views of Lake Ontario. Sand beach at one end. Good parking. A really nice park to visit. You might want to bring your own chairs.
Beautiful park. Lots of space to walk, play or just hang around. Nice green area sheltered by trees for a really hot summer day. Lots of picnic tables around. There's sheltered picnic areas too. Benches close to the water along the walkway. Nice beach. Lots of parking. Food trucks, a pub and fast food outlet on site. Washroom facilities available.
The area is nice but there are a lot of unsavory types walking around. I wouldn't feel safe by myself down at the beach anymore. Also, be aware of drug paraphernalia. It's no different than any other playground in Oshawa - you have to do your due diligence and scan for visible needles and other gross things. In the summer, it really is a great play ground for the kids with the splash pad and climbing equipment.
The new park is open with splash pad! Not too crowded. Lot of people having picnics lol
Well maintained with grounds crews. Safe with regular police patrols. A great place to go on a day trip with family or to walk your dog. Mature trees provide lots of shade and well-manicured flower beds provide nice scents and sights.
Apparently a hidden secret as the place was deserted on a weekday in October. The views of Lake Ontario are awesome. Sounds of waves crashing, a nice beach, and play areas for kids, tons of trails for walkers or bikers. Also has a restaurant serving cold beer that was closed for the season.
So pretty here and new play ground will great
Really peaceful place to hang out and Worthy to spend quality time with your loved ones in front of watching Crystal blue lack water.
Nice place ????. Huge park. Well maintained. Everything is available for enjoyment for everyone. You can spent whole day.
