Usually quiet in the winter season however the trail is beautiful, the lake view is beautiful, the calm and peace you feel here is amazing. I bring my kids here all the time. We spend time here just walking, talking and enjoying mother nature. When you have +4° in January, it's a great time to take the kids out jogging, which I did. I also included a picture I took in the summer. Break taking!

Noticed a parasailer just above Lake Ontario, behind Canlan Ice Sports. On further inspection, there were more than a dozen, in what appeared to be a Sun morning teaching session that started at 11 a.m. Beautiful to watch them sailing

This one of my favorite places to walk the dogs before and after baseball season. The paths are kept clean and the are lots of garbage cans.

Beautiful park by the water with a nice trail for walking, running, or biking. It also has some nice Stillwater areas for dogs to run into and splash around it. There is lots of filled space there as well baseball diamonds and other sports facilities as well.

I love going there... It is peaceful, this time of year you see the leafs turning into the beautiful fall colors. For myself, it is a great escape to the quiet, nature filled lands :). I walk and walk, with my Boxer, she loves it too.

Nice complex, friendly staff, ball diamonds were in good shape. No concession though, so unless the event there has set up their own stuff, you will need to being your own food and refreshments. There is a hockey rink here, so the concession there may be open.

Absolutely love the view from this place. A perfect place for a walk, a stroll or even a date. Scramble down to the beach to dip your toes in water. Bring your cycle and go for a ride. Free parking. No washrooms.

The trails are very nice, the water was slightly stained with algae unfortunately... More signage for the Wild Parsnip would be good given the density of them around the mowed trails.

It’s a Big park with lots of open spots to walk around.. It’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the water! There wasn’t a lot of people which was nice ????

Baseball diamonds are kept in good shape except for the sloping outfield on every diamond from about 100' feet to the 280 foot fence. Grounds staff very friendly and understanding of what it takes.

A lovely open space to get away from the city, with smooth paved bike/walking trail, or the parallel lake shore of smooth stones and sand that runs up against the receding low cliffs of eroding soil. Dog walkers, cyclists, joggers and families with small children frequent this area.

I visited this park recently and I couldn’t believe such a beautiful place existed so close to our place. This park provides an stunning view of Lake Ontario from the top. It has long walking trail and a nice spot for kid’s cycling. It’s fun trying to spot CN tower through the lookout. A less crowded place for a weekend getaway. Take along food and water, plenty of free parking space.

Also includes an amazing lake to take in with a long stretching beachfront no shortage of scenic visuals and natural acoustics deriving from the powerful but very beautiful Lake Ontario????. Walked on this trail, it was nice. However, it's more of a biking trail then it is a hiking trail. Nice paved roads, along a cliffside overlooking Lake Ontario.

Beautiful park, with lots of baseball fields and a great view of the ocean. Do be careful to stay on the paths as there is an invasive weed we saw (signs were posted around) that causes burns.

Beautiful views from the bluffs,you can see the CN tower on clear days. The paved trail is great for roller blades or walking with public binoculars for public use.

This park is a memorial park with a good beach, play area, baseball and playfield nearby, and a long time wonderful historical buildings, dance/banquet hall called the Jubilee Pavilion. A family can enjoy the all the features of this location including swimming or go for a walk on the pier or along the beach. The Lakeview Park is also along the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail which is up to over 500 kilometers of bike paths along Lake Erie from near Point Pelee Provincial Park to near the Quebec border with Ontario.

Beautiful views and nice paths along with many ball diamonds but not the place to go if you want to easily access the water as you have to climb down the cliffs to get to the water.

Enjoy just to go down and walk the path very relaxing, also the park is convenient to take my son too. It's gonna be a hit when they get the side patio in behind the building I believe that's where it's gonna be so people can eat/drink have a good time. Glad to see more stuff coming to Durham area.

I can't ever say I've stopped here with my car. I've walked to this location. But the views of the storm clouds were phenomenal tonight. The clouds just mesmerized you to stay longer.

These diamonds are ok. But the cancellation of games because of a little rain is crazy. What is a ground crew for? To make sure the diamonds are in order. With a little work the games could have been played.
