Great place for family, beach, amazing playground with a splash pad. Of course a chip truck with the best fries !! and other types of food. Only downfall is washrooms one at far end and only a porta potty at the other.

Visited this park the other day with family and friends. It is an exciting place to say the least. Very clean. Lots of space for picnic spots. The water is great. Just a reminder that the washrooms are closed due to Covid-19.

Beautiful park in south Whitby along the shoreline of Lake Ontario. There is a beautiful well maintained multi-use path that passes through the park and caters to joggers/ walkers/ cyclists. The park has beautiful views of the lake, a splash pad, an activity area for kids with swings/ slide and a dedicated area for individuals that want to exercise. Its a nice place for having a family picnic with plenty of opportunities for kids to run around or enjoy the splash pad/ swings. Many people fish from the dock area. The fall colours are particularly pretty in tbe park. There are well maintained restrooms in the park.

Loved this place as a kid! Revisited back after so many years and still love it! This park has it all, tons of parking, walking/bike trails, a beach, a little water park for the kids, couple playgrounds, a little light house you could walk to! Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Big park, playgrounds for kids, walk on sand, throw rocks i have the current record in distance, after this covid pandemic, this is a great family get away. In the summer you can see boats go by the light post and roller blade, bike etc.

We lived in Brooklin north of Whitby for 4 years and loved this park. Would load our bikes up and head to the park every summer evening. Ride along the trails east. We still come back for the views and quite relaxing times. Most recently and it was busy on the weekend but still a great spot with lots of parking and never have to worry about that. Nice areas for the kids that have evolved over the years. The water front thou is still my favorite spot as you can tell from the photos.

One of my favorite places to spend some free time or watch the sunset. Cool outdoor gym, playground, a picnic pavilion for meetups. Walk the board walk down to the peer to watch the sailboats come in for the evening. Great place for a people watch and chill vibes.

Great little park down by the lake. Kids can have fun playing on the jungle gym snd parents can take in the beautiful lake views and scenery. We often stop here on our walk along the lake. It can be packed on the nice days but still loads of fun. Lots of seating and lots of shade to escape the hot sun.

Nice park lots of green and beachy areas. Has a splash pad nothing fancy but great option for cooling off. Rocky beach not the cleanest sands. Can get busy during weekends on the grassy areas beach was not so busy.

It is a good beach to cool down summer heat. However, the water is suddenly deep so not good for children to swim(they can paly at water splash pad though). Do not allow to use any type of BBQ. in the park.

Great park. Lots of beach to play on and a great trail to walk, bike, rollerblade etc with lots to look at. They even have washrooms and a clubhouse with a cute patio part that looks out to the lake. Be careful on the lighthouse pier as there are no railings. It's also a great place to fish or just watch the boats

September 2021 Beautiful water front park in Whitby. Highly recommended to visit ,keep in mind during weekends parking spot in the area not sufficient. Play grounds for kids and adults are well maintained. Few minutes from Hwy401 East.

Great spot to take your kids! So many things to do - park, splash pad, exercise stations, lighthouse, beach, waterfront walking trail! A lot of seating and picnic tables in the shade for families. It is a go to spot on hot summer days for sure!

It's a beautiful park with ample parking space. I enjoyed walking on the trail and wonderful scenery. It was worth to drive for an hour from home. I will definitely visit there again with a bike.

What a beautiful park! Great playground for toddlers/kids, the splash pad is more suitable for older children. The beach is stoney but beautiful, really clean, with families paddling/picnicking. Lovely space

Nice open space and splash pad for kids makes it an ideal place to visit for families. Parking is right across the street from the pavilion and the swing sets as well as the splash pad. Definitely loved this park and will come back again later this summer. I'll never go into Lake Ontario because it's not healthy but it makes for a good view!

You can barbecue, ride your bike and have rest. The beach is not really big so mostly you can spend time on the green area. I suggest it for bbq. It has parking but you can park in the street if you can not find any spot.

Nice area, lots of shade. Beach is pebble at the water and can have seaweed. The splash pad is nice, strong water spray. The playground is wood chip which we like better than sand. Parking is a bit spotty, but they do have spare parking lots. Some shelters for larger groups, otherwise lots large trees to provide large shaded areas.

Nice park for families and kids to enjoy the great outdoors and get closer to nature. There is a picnic shelter by the swings, with nearby garbage containers to keep area clean. Two shelters both available for rent by obtaining a permit. BBQs can be used only when the shelters are permitted. Nice view of Lake Ontario. On a clear day can see CN Tower in the distance.

This was my first visit to the park. My office had a socially distanced team meeting and it worked out wonderfully! We had more than enough distance from the people walking their dogs and the children playing in the park. It is also very close to the lake with scenic views. There is also parking that is across the street from the park area.

Nice kids park facing lake, so good for kids to play and adults to take walk on the beach which is few hundred meters or so from the play area, on a prev visit we had noticed lit if small fly like creatures which was a mild botheration, luckily did not find them in lady visit so might have something to do with the temperature and show up only in peak summer

Just east of Port Whitby on the waterfront trail. Has a couple of playgrounds, public washrooms. Even has an outdoor workout area which is unique as you don't often see those especially in Southern Ontario. Southern California maybe but not in the GTA. Good sized parking lot.

If you value the safety of your children & pets, please stay away from this area, because way too many hungry coyotes lurk in & around this area!???? Sometimes if you look closely, you'll see them hiding in the shadows, just waiting to pounce on an unexpected child or pet!????

The nicest thing is, there is a big play area for children including a nice big splash pad, but be-careful as the water splashes at good speed, there is of children getting hurt and hence adult supervision is necessary. It has scenic view to downwards towards the lake from the middle of the treed via a wooden staircase. Lots of green area (free space), neatly maintained. Ample parking space. The funniest and annoying part is lots of flies around us.

Great picnic place. due to covid19, outdoor gym is closed and kids play ground as well. Enough parking place . Breathtaking sunset view and clean beach. Families can enjoy their time but kids should be under supervision for their safety while swimming.

We did potluck over there, Lush green landscape and fresh lake air was amazing, top of that swings, slides and water splashes for kids. Overall this park is suitable for any age group. Free and big parking space and also can swim in the lake good sandy Beach. I like it. ????

Nice place to spend the day. Beach is rocky, but fine with water shoes. Pretty deep a few steps from the shore. Lots of parking in the overflow lot across the street. There are usually a couple food trucks (one that sells fries and another that sells ice cream I think). There's a jungle gym, splash pad, gazebos, and outdoor gym. There are public bathrooms. And it's right off the waterfront trail. No BBQing or cooking permitted.

Park is very nice.. Near the beach, with climbers and splash pad for kids. Ample parking and more than enough space to bbq and enjoy. We came on a beautiful sunny Sunday in summer and we still found parking and a spot. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely love this place, so beautiful. The kids will love the park it's up to date and large. There are 2 parks and a water park. The lake and sand is clean and stunning. There are picnic tables and facilities, a trail, and dock. Plenty of grass space for picnics as well. The ice cream truck comes around often. Guaranteed day of fun in the sun.

Park, splash pad, kids play area, rest rooms are good. If you walk on trails towards west will find more play area and docking place for private boats. Beach looks deep and do not have much shallow area for kids to play. Always remember to stay with kids on this beach.

Great view of the water from the playground. Jungle gym is huge, perfect for any age. My toddler loves it so much! After playing its nice to take a relaxing stroll at the beach. Havent tried swimming here yet though. Playground and view are aces.
