Great place for photographs and hiking. Crystal falls is a picturesque place with many photo op spots. There are hiking trails, 2 playgrounds for the kids, the one at the top is better than the one by the lake. Bring bug spray as there are always mosquitos and black flies a plenty especially on the trails

Medium sized park - has a basketball court in the middle, a horseshoe pit near the North end and a jungle gym on the south with a mini water play area. Good place to chill, but it's always packed with kids.

the kiddie pool has been removed- not sure when that was, but it was news to me when I went the other day. everything seems to be going back to normal as far as the park is concerned- though if you have a dog, please for the love of god keep it on a leash (05/07/21)

Stunning! Get off the PC reviews and head out here with a lover or group of friends! The water fall by itself is worth the trip let alone all the biking/hiking trails. This place is truly a gem! P.s. Bring a good camera, you wont regret it.

I recently moved back to prince albert and I have to say, the new washrooms at kinsmen park are a great update from the old ones. The changes to the playground and the spray park are nice changes as well. Kinsmen park has always been a beautiful park.

Crystal Falls was very picturesque. Vast array of well marked hiking trails for all abilities. May be tough to get a chair across one of the bridges.

Despite getting free money to fix the place up, they decided to also increase the prices. The slides aren't even that great. I love using the overcrowded pool and baby water park. I do not like coming here because certain parents use it as a daycare during the summer. I have seen kids spit and pee directly into the pool without staff doing anything about it. I also seen a mother slapping ointment on her scab covered child and allowing him into the pool. This place is better than the Carlton Pool but I refuse to go anywhere near Carlton or Kinsmen.

Great water slides and hot tub. Will be a five star after a new junior olympic pool is added in 2018. The lack of a swimming pool is the only drawback.

Nice park. Has a splash pad and climber. Nice and quiet location. One washroom. Only one black garbage bin. Not good for the environment. Recycling bins should be placed there so that recyclables can go in their respective bins. Lovely park for preschoolers, toddlers, kids and adults.

Fantastic park, right near downtown, with lots of options. There is a smaller structure with several slides and some climbing options, perfect for little kids, and a larger one that's sightly taller, with a bigger slide and more climbing. Both are separate and not connected by any means. The park also has four toddler swings and two child swings, a seesaw, and a small splashpad with two spouts that shoot from the top, and two that shoot up from the ground. There is ample seating as well. My only complaint, which is not a knock against the park itself, is that there is absolutely no shade anywhere near the playground itself. Overall an excellent choice for taking your kids.

Omg!! We didn't think we would get so close to waterfalls, so were just loved this hike. You also have the option to follow the wooden bridge, or go off onto the wooded paths. They have a small pond/lake that swimming isnt recommended in but is perfect for RC boats.

Awesome fall to visit but need to care in while driving down as it's too slippery for cars and too steep plus road is way to narrow. Do visit this place in fall nature at its best plus the way to reach this waterfall is magnificent and feels like paradise if you get chance do visit it

Beautiful place with lots of trails to choose. A small kid playground by the lake too. A short walk to Crystal Fall which is very pleasant. Looks like a popular place for locals. We didn't take the longer trail, only took a short walk up the fall and that section was well marked. Driveway to the parking has some big holes and signage wasn't clear that there is a parking lot further down. Reason for 1 star reduction.

There's a good play ground here & it also has a splash pad which my son Absolutely loved to play in! He had a blast here and it was quite populated when we went also, so it should be easy for the kids to make friends at this location. It was also clean and well maintained.

Park has been beautifully cleaned up and updated. Lots of room to run and several new play structures have been added. Several sites to have a fire and cook. A few covered areas too. Splash pool in the summer months. Walking paths are now cleared in the winter. And a new washroom facility has been built.

The Crystal Falls were beautiful! It’s a short walk, but beautiful scenery. It’s good for a short walk or long walk - so it has lots to offer (I only took a short tour around the falls - there are two stunning observation platforms). People can also go biking there. There are lots of hills there so be aware it will be more mountain biking trails. I’m very glad I was able to view them!

Absolutely beautiful!!! I'm very surprised at the lack of use the park gets. Dont get me wrong, theres been some, about 30 people we have come upon but back in the days this was the place to be!! Baseball .. tennis.. bocci.. frisbee.. tag.. BBQ .. SWIMMING!!! a 2 minute drive from town and you feel like you've traveled far into the bush to escape the stress and anxiety of the city. So much opportunity. So many things to do. So many things to enjoy. Come on Sault Ste Marie!! Go for a ride and bring the kids.

The scenery was beautiful and we really enjoyed our walk but we were very disappointed with the amount of huge potholes and the number of dead trees ready to fall over. This should be taken care of so no one gets hurt or killed. Come on kinsmen get it together and clean up.

Great walking paths and surroundings are kept good. If all people using this place would respect the grounds and put their garbage in the various receptcles that are positioned all over the park it would be a lot better.

Too many bums hanging around, too bad cause they have a really nice playground. The city tried to keep it pretty clean and they have a great playground program at the paddling pool all summer. Waterslides have been updated and the pool is being updated this year!
