This is coming strictly from a bikers perspective. The trails are by far the best in Oshawa and the near surrounding area. Lots of different areas to ride from single track to a BMX pump track and even a pretty serious BMX jump course. There's a couple pretty sweet downhill trails nothing crazy but fun for the casual rider. My only beef with the area is some of the dogs can be aggressive and chase after you but this is a off leash dog park after all however some people should have some better control of their dogs. But overall it's a pretty nice trail for some casual trail riding or hiking along with a pretty sweet place for BMX riders.

Clearly nobody there can read signs. I didn't see one leash being used besides my own in the on-leash area of the park. If I wanted my dog being harassed by other bigger dogs I would have went into the off-leash area.

Great place to bring your dogs. The park has off-leash areas, but in reality people have their dogs off the leash everywhere. As long as your dog is friendly and doesn't jump on people no one will mind. The park also has a fenced in area where you can let your dog off if you're concerned about recall. Great for introducing puppies to socialization as well. I take my dog (Australian Cattle Dog) 5+ times a week to get in the exercise he needs and he always has a great time.

This place is just amazing thanks to the volunteers who keep it clean and well maintained ! I usually come here at all times of the week to walk my dog and let him run around freely as there is a massive off leash area he can enjoy. I enjoy it also because of the beautiful nature views and wildlife. If you're ever in Oshawa, you should drop by this gem and bring your furry pal along with you.

This place is beautiful and it sounds like ODAWG has some more big plans for it. They are planning on a fully fenced in off leash area for dogs that don’t do well with their recall and newer pups. I went today and it was amazing. My dog had so much fun and I have never seen her so tired. Support ODAWG to keep this place going strong! I forgot to mention they brought in the port-a-potty and supply the poop bags. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a dog.

If you are looking for a great off leash experience for your dog and a beautiful nature walk for you, then look no further. I've not seen any better. Lovely walk through the woods with open areas that the dogs can play together. And if your dog likes to run through the water there is creek running through the forest also.

This is a dog park. From what I could see all areas were used as off leash walking paths. Several short paths and many enclosed areas for dogs. Lots of free parking. Unfortunately not all dog owners respect the pickup after your own rule.

We love taking our blueheeler there where she has areas to run free ( not in a dog pen ) and play with other dogs. Harmony creek runs through there, wooded areas and lots of trails. There are some really nice trails to walk here. The colours are fantastic in the fall. The snow covered trails are just as nice in the winter. It can get very muddy when wet, so where proper footwear. And there a lots of dogs walking around off leash, most of which are super friendly.

Two areas to walk, one for on leash and one for off leash. Unfortunately the dog owners don't always abide by the rules. There are signs that say dogs must be leashed in the one area but on multiple occasions I experienced multiple dogs running up to me. Nice park, too bad people don't care about the signs.

Fantastic place to go for a walk and take your dogs for plenty of lease free roaming. Carefulin winter as it can be very slippery on the paths after snow, sleet and rain have refrozen to create a pretty good natural ice rink in some areas. Wear slip on spikes and you should be good.

I regularly visit Harmony Valley with a group of my friends to ride our mountain bikes there, I also go there just to walk around. We often met other mountain bikers and other pedestrians in our travels and everyone is friendly. I highly recommend traveling here to ride your bike or just for a nice walk.

If your one who loves nature and going for long walks with your dog or partner then this place is good for you. Their is a big "off leash" area (unfenced) for your dog(s) to run around in as well as a smaller fenced in "off leash" area as well, closer to the entrance area of the dog park. This is a big conservation area with plenty of space for your pets to roam free and have fun with other furry animals.

What can I say? I love it here! The trails range from rugged to well groomed giving you different walking experiences. There are even some good rough trails for hiking and deep in (if you look hard enough) there is a dirt box and moto cross track for downhill and highflying action! Someone even built a tree stand for a running start on a dirty jump near a wicked 90 degree downhill turn! There's a leashless area for dogs, plenty of entrances on all sides of the area so parking is plentiful. The parking lots are lit but not well, so it is safe enough to be there late but not too late or the bugs will get ya! This is definitely a must for outdoor lovers, dog walkers, and anyone looking for a relaxing walk through the woods!

This beautiful nature trail leaves most others in surrounding area far behind. It is used a lot by dog lovers as parts of it are off leash. Even if you are not a dog owner but you like to see dogs frolicking and playing and doing what they do best (being sociable)it is worth a visit . If you are terrified of dogs it is not for you. I have never had a bad experience and have found all dog parents to be responsible and caring. There is a wonderful creek with frogs and tadpoles. ... lots of tree trunks to climb on and cross the stream. .. and birds galore. We had beautiful views of a snow owl last winter. Yes I fell in love with the magic here. I hope you will too.

I love this park! It's got expansive trails where you can [legally] let your dog off leash to roam while you walk the trails. The trails branch off in many directions, so you can walk for an hour and still not explore them all. There are off leash parks in there (fenced and unfenced). There are small streams for the dogs to play and lots of trees. There's also an on-leash area if you're nervous letting your dog off-leash (but be warned: not everyone leashes their dog(s) is this area). I've been there twice now and I still haven't explored the entire area.

Very busy - parking is a tight squeeze. Lots of room for dogs to run. Not as enclosed as we were led to believe. You can keep your dog in a closed in area or hike with them on or off leash.

The retreat is located far inside a guarded entrance. Only people with bookings are allowed in. The place is verg quiet, and a perfect getaway from the city. There is a nearby construction, but not much noise heard as they only do in the day. Would definitely go back in the future.

This is the best place to take your dog for off the leash park. There is plenty of room to run and play Water to cool off in the hot sun. Lots and lots of dogs. The people that use the off leash area are all really good and helpful. Great place this is a must for your dog to have fun and interact with lots of friendly dogs.

Such an amazing place to bring your dog. There is an off-leash area, great trails, a creek, always well maintained and free parking. There is usually multiple garbage cans with lids and additional bags if you run out or forget to bring one. The park is not maintained in the winter however and can be quite icy in certain areas.

Love this place. It is a great off leash dog park. You have a couple of trails to take. There is a creek that puddles up to a little pond where the dogs can swim. An open field that's great for dogs to interact and run around and even a fenced in dog park for those dogs that run away.
