REVIEWS OF Enniskillen Conservation Area IN Oshawa

Mike Crackers

Nice place to go for a walk in the woods they have a few areas that have picnic tables to sit and relax lots of scenery

Chris Parkinson

Several kilometers of trails and variety of open areas beside fields as well as overhanging treed paths. Can get a bit dark in the forest if it's overcast and evening, but it adds to the "forest charm." The mill trail no longer has a mill. …

Gea S

Beautiful place to go hiking

Patricia Browne

Lovely little conservation area. Trails are well marked and maintained. No garbage cans available so be prepared to hike your garbage (and dog-doo!) back out with you. Actually saw a CLOCA employee while out on the trail, so nice to know that the area is staffed and maintained.

Tammi Aleksanderek

Very disappointed there were no garbages for waste even though you pay a $6 parking fee. No wonder no one else scooped the dogs waste!

Marcin Wartecki

Beautiful area. Trails are short and easy, with lots of nice views. Parking is a flat fee of $6, and you need Visa or Master Card.

Bhumika Gharia

My wife went to a camp here when she was younger, and has great memories of the place. Going now, trails are well marked, nice and shady on a hot summer day, and covered areas to have picnic lunch

Krista Chaney

Nice place. Great for toddlers easy trails. Only downside is parking cost 6$ which I feel is steep to enjoy nature. …

Simeon Sanchez

Nice escape from the city. Not overly crowded at the time of posting.

Joan Snowdon

No bathrooms or outhouses, otherwise I would have given a 5star rating. Also parking is too expensive. Should be half what is charged! …

Maria Gorczynski

The Conservation Area is beautiful, however winter might not be the best time to go there. The pathways and trails were covered with ice. Not safe for walking. The area is not maintained during winter months.

Must get there early, as it tends to get crowded on weekends. Short trails, and only moderate difficulty for the average hiker with places to sit and have a snack. Tons of dogs and their owners, so beware with bringing small kids.

Very beautiful. Haven't seen a turtle like I saw there in years

Was only able to spend 30 mins in the conservation, however it was quiet and reflective. Looking forward to coming back here as I found this conservation has less crowd. Multiple trails and a shallow pond with supposedly two snapping turtles. The pond still had frozen ice. Paid parking.
