My scout group often goes camping here. I personally love the trumpeter swans waking me up in the morning. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained and the walking trails are spectacular. The wildlife here is gorgeous and I love going here over and over again!

A hidden jem located just outside of Orillia. Despite the snow, the trail was well marked and rather easy to walk (singel file). The beautiful soft wood trees make you feel like you have driven miles away from town when the road is only 50ft away at times. Lots of ducks and other animals here for the kids to see. Pet friendly too.

As always a very nice experience. I like to go there to feel more grounded in nature. My 2 little grandsons love it. They have lookouts where u can take nice pictures. They had all kinds of birds, peacocks, and a lot of ducks and geese. I highly recommend this place.

Britt B

Beautiful piece of land to walk around. The animals in cages was strange as this is a "conservation" area... Not sure why it is necessary as the cages look dull and boring for the animals.

A great place for a relaxing walk. There is a couple different paths you can take on the west side to mix it up a bit. Most of the wildlife is at the front around the food. It definitely leaves me questioning whether this is a zoo or sanctuary. It is a beautiful property and the birds are protected so I guess it's all good. I need more information.

nice place well maintained path was ok but had some spots where it was muddy and uneven boards good variety of birds nice lookout spots

A hidden gem of Simcoe county, this little spot has a bird sanctuary featuring the most hateful and vicious waterfowI have ever met. They have a small collection of beautiful ground birds like peacocks and pheasants, kept in well-maintained pens. You can purchase feed for the animals if you wish, but I don't recommend feeding them from your hand because these are indiscriminate creatures and you may get bitten. There's also a lovely walking trail around the marsh.
