Location is a bit out of the way, only car accessible and easy to miss, but if you're in the area, it's worth stepping inside. The winter day I visited, many plants looked a little weary, sickly or in need of a pruning, and there is only one bench to sit at. But it is free and it's warm inside. Smallish greenhouse of tropical plants and a little burbling stream populated by goldfish provided a welcome fix of greenery in the middle of winter.

Great place to stop for a picnic on our way through town in the Winter! We had the place to ourselves and the toddler was able to run laps inside the greenhouse. The greenhouse was on the cooler side (maybe 15/16C), but still a much desired break from the Winter weather, even if many of the beds were bare (between seasons, I'm sure). We weren't sure if there was a public washroom available.

Excellent greenhouse with knowledgable staff. Check out their showroom, an oasis especially in winter with tropical plants, stream with fish and turtles. Great place for pictures or to bring kids and elderly.

Nice place for a lunch time break. It's free to visit and have a stroll around the green house tropical garden. There's a wooden bench and two chairs inside if you feel like sitting down and enjoying the heat during winter.
