Here you will see the feddbacks of real people who consume the services and products of Lakeside Park (Tourist Attraction) in Oakville (Canada).
To this day the business gets a score of 4.7 over 5 and the rating was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is nearly the best, and it's founded on a large number of opinions, so we may think that the rating is quite credible. If people have bothered to value when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to give opinions when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction is included in the category of Park.

A very calm and clean park allthough gets a little boring after a few visits, but really good place for jogging/running also for exploring and photography.

This is a hidden gem. Once the little lake (rain water harvesting) freezes, it becomes a skating paradise.

Great place for a great ride

This is a great park to view the Sunset and to go on a walk by the beautiful lakeshore. Too many bugs so be prepared to fight them ????

A lovely and lightly travelled park in Ajax.

A very popular park for a short morning walk, also a nice place for kids to play. No matter what season or what kind of weather, snowing, raining, foggy, autumn, spring... it is always a place for you to have a peaceful mind

Beautiful vistas.

Love it, go for my walks along the trail..very therapeutic

Nice place for a walk and lovely lakeside views

Beautiful

This is a perfect time of year to go. Oakville has done a fantastic job of creating and maintaining this park over the years. Making it a safe space for all to enjoy.

Beautiful ????✨????

Beautiful park, Nice scenery in lakeshore. Some wildlife and birds.

Calm and beautiful

Amazing!i love it

Always a great place for summer activities

Beautiful park for picnics, alone time, a walk...its just amazing. Sitting in the shade while listening to the waves hitting the rocks will make you fall asleep, a guarantee that lol. It's a lovely place to be.

Wonderful park with full view of the lake. Just one serious problem in the park which I wish to report to town of Oakville - the walkways is full of dog poop. I wonder why people don’t pick poop up. This is the only only negative else the park itself is beautiful. I’d recommend all to go for great scenery and peaceful sitting with light lunch.

If you want to relax and talk to the nature and calm and relax perrrrrfect place.

Very pretty serene place. Great for bird watching.

Nice place with kids waters playground

great park for walking and biking, numerous splash water pads, numerous playgrounds, however depending on the seasons, there might be lots of mosquitos (like today May 16). highly recommended.

Great place for biking.

Beautiful lake Ontario scenery.

Nice spot, plenty of trees laying on the sand

Great place to spend an evening with family.

The hall was ok, large space and very open. Bathrooms left much to be desired.

Small park with splash pad

My mom and I love coming here. Great lake views, nice playground and right at the waterfront trail.

Great location for photography if you want a simple landscape by the water. Golden hour is perfect because the sun sets away from the horizon of the lake, making the lighting excellent. There are huge rocks around the area, as well as a pier and lighthouse. Definitely one of my favorite photography locations.

Amazing trails for Biking, walking and running.

Pretty

Beautiful place. You can see the CN tower from the pier. Great spot to sit in nature. Not too busy despite being downtown Oakville

Beautiful place for a stroll. We visited during night, but will be definitely visiting during day time. Close to the downtown Oakville area for lots of food options.

A beautiful park by the lake, this place is a gem to walk through. Parking is tight on the streets during summer peak times. I come here to get away from it all. Just up the street is a strip of stores that reminds me of Mississauga's Port Credit or even Toronto's Boardwalk. It's even a treat to walk the surrounding streets to view the old houses and it's designs. The trees are all mature so there's a lot of shade everywhere. There's a pandemic right now so stay safe out there people. Lockdown or not, keep washing those hands!

Went here looking for Rush. Took my time and enjoyed it.

Very nice to walk around and take nice pictures. There is a spot where you can see Toronto. Super nice for sunset pictures.

One of my favorite places to go after a lunch and browsing the shops on Lakeshore. The walk to there is just so pretty with old trees and lovely houses with nostalgic architecture. Walking the path to the end of the short pier on a beautiful day is always a highlight. There is also a children's playground and an old post office and house to walk through.

A hidden gem in Oakville. Located east end of Oakville. You will easily miss if you are driving towards Mississauga on Lakeshore Road. Nice little family park with play area with splash pad for children . Trails to walk & bike.

Beautiful views. Great waterfront trail. Great park and splash pad for the little ones.

Loved this place!!! On a Sunday morning barely anyone and it felt so peaceful. Decent parking spots. Just walking along the lake feels so awesome. Close to downtown. Most places were closed but I assume this place will be wonderful for a nice brunch and later walk along the lake.

Great park

Beautiful Park with great walking and bike trails.

It's like Miami Beach of Florida. People literally move in with wagons of stuff as is they will be onsite forever. I just road a bike enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Beautiful, quiet place located in old town of Oakville, right by the lake Ontario. There are playgrounds for kids, walking trail, a light house and an old preserved post office from 1835!!!!!! Parking is on the streets so keep circling on one way streets until you get lucky!

????

Nice family place

Beautiful place to walk or just relax very well maintained

this a cute and pretty ittle park. It's not too busy and so quiet. It's the perfect place to stop and breathe, take in the view of the Toronto skyline. They have some benches, so sit back, relax, and reflect on the meaning of life.

Excellent choice for a relaxer.

Great walk and view.

Im a resident of the area and love it here. The waterfalls are never to busy and it's a nice trail to go take a walk, run or bike ride along. People are very friendly in the area.

Quiet secluded park!

The perfect place to go for a peaceful walk and do some photography.

Serenity

This is a great place for having a picnic by the lake, there is usually a gentle breeze, and is a great place for walking including having a pier lighthouse. Also a great place for pokestops, and especially gyms as their are like 4-5ish in a relatively small area.

Beautiful and vast space with some street parking nearby, tons of seating, and public washrooms near the street. Basically every bench faces the water, lots are in shaded areas, and every bench is spaced out from other benches, allowing for privacy (and physical distancing). I went there for the first time on a Sunday morning with a friend and the view of the sunlight sparkling on the water was brilliant and healing. My dog has some socialization issues and while there were lots of dogs around, we were able to get some distance at certain benches. I will be coming back! (I have no photos to share because I was too busy enjoying it to photograph things. Haha. But trust me: it's gorgeous.)

Nice place

My hometown. Beautiful walking trails

Amazing place to relax and enjoy the views

Beautiful area, it is a must to visit, to walk around is great, to see the gorgeous houses and their gardens

(Translated) Nice place there are deer in the area (Original) مكان جميل يوجد غزلان في المنطقة

Beautiful water front trail

Excellent neighbourhood but the park itself doesn't have much to see or you can't get a good hike out of it. Maybe better suited for local residents.

Nice views and descently quiet. Got really busy when the Pokemo GO craze was going on but now it is quiet again.

Beautiful ????????????????????

A great place to have a walk and sit and enjoy the view of Lake Ontario. Also some great spots for Instagramming! Child friendly and a picnic spot. Or just a place to sit and people watch and enjoy the peace and quiet.

It's a park with some nice views of the lake. I wish there is something more lively and entertaining here. More Lighting, Some performers and cotton candy I guess.

A fantastic splash pad plus play areas for both toddlers & older children; plus local hall with available clean restrooms

Nice view I like it, also there's a playground for children from 5 to 12

A lovely small spot to take a walk, relax and feel the breeze. But it’s way too windy in November. Remember to put on proper clothes if you plan a visit! Parking is desirable on the roadside and it is 2 hours limit.

A park within walking distance of downtown Oakville. On sunny days, it is crowded with many people, but early in the morning, the lighthouse at the end of the Pier and the trails are less crowded.

Very nice park with a playground, a nice pier, waterside trail and spots to sit and relax. We really had a great time especially looking at the old houses on the coast. There is street parking available and the downtown is walking distance.

Fall in love with this place. Peaceful. Not crowded. Great playground. Public washroom near here. Lot of parking space close to the park. It’s a perfect place to spend time with family as well as to be here alone.

Scenery

Fun and pretty place

Very Beautiful and Nice place to visit with family

Beautiful walking trail

Awesome park especially for a walk in the marsh or for the kids in the playground.

Beautiful park at the edge of the lake. So much history in the area.

A dog-walkers paradise! Wide paved trails (no burs in the fur), natural setting with ducks and larger water birds to see in the ponds. There are at least 2 garbage depositories so you don't have to parade with "the bag" for very long.

Very nice trail

Stunning landscape beautiful small Harbour and lighthouse closet nice restaurants and shops nearby

A small but decent park on shores of Lake Ontario. The big issue is parking especially on weekends as only roadside limited parking is available

Fantastic

Wow. It's a awesome park. Good place to spend time with family and friends.

Amazing water front trail for walk or bike ride

One of the most beautiful view of Lake Ontario in GTA. Beautiful 18th century buildings, nice walk from the park to the light house. Highly recomended for a walk on a quiet weekday morning in spring or fall.

Nice and cool

Calm and peaceful waterfront trails. Ideal for walking, running or cycling.

Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Surrounded by trails including the Ajax waterfront trail that is very well maintained.

Very nice park for families ???? nice Lake view and walking area. Parking their is not the best, I had to drive around 10 minutes till I found good place to park my car. I recommend this too have a family outing.

Welp, went fishing here and just as I set up park guys came here and set up signs that say NO fishing. Just be aware of that if you come here thinking to try and fish. Otherwise, it's a nice park with a really nice view of Lake Ontario.

Beautiful area. Very well kept, it looks like a wonderful community. The views are stunning. There is a trail system, zoom in on the map to find it.

This park always has a lot of people and because there’s not much space to go with groups. Arrive a little early.

Lakeside park , defines wonderful

Nice view and good place to relax. Many people in the weekend though.

Nice place to walk.

Great play area and trails.

Attended a bridal shower here and it was gorgeous! Lots of space and great scenery. It's the perfect place for any outing big or small.

If you are fan to just sit along a sea side, this is nice place for you. Also can get some nice clicks around this place.

Great walk down to the waters.

Nice park, great trail for walk and bike. Ajax has the best unobstructed view of Lake Ontario

Great piece of green space that services the neighborhood well for events, gathering or just leisurely activities.

Great splash pad here, fun for families with young kids

The most beautiful place around!

Beautiful, peaceful, serene.

Wonderful park

Nice park and many benches where you can just sit there and relax and watch the waves crash into the rocks. There is also a marina and a little garden area. It is a great way to just sit and unwind.

Always enjoyed coming here. it's a wonderful park with amazing lakeshore path.

Nice park for short walk.

Great park, I love the boardwalk and the view is gorgeous, this park is a nice little gem and close to a drive in movie theater.

Lovely park, clean and very open. Bike trail is tiny, if you could call it that but great to walk and enjoy the sun and sound of the waves.

4 Stars for the breathtaking view. On one side you see the endless Ontario lake till horizon and on one side skyscrapers of Toronto with can tower standing tall. Park with lush green trees and ample parking space around the area. Its not a beach but rocky shore with pebble rocks adds to the fun.

good for a walk, kinda small but connected to waterfront trail, nice community park plus a little wild feeling, would be nice if living there and take a after meal walk.

Well kept, lovely park and trail.

Beautiful place to play for the kids. The splash pads is a blast specially on a hot weather. There are benches with umbrellas where people can sit and relax while watching the kids. The place is safe, there are designated parking area on the road, and if you love walking or biking this is the place for you or the whole family. From a distance there is beautiful lake, just don't know if swimming is allowed. On the day we went there by the beach, there was an awful smell, like the drainage and the water is gray.

Will come back again.. highly recommended place to visit.

Very nice and clean parks. No picnic area and no public parking.

Good place for walking and relaxing

Stopped by yesterday evening. Place is clean except the dock area near TOWARF . ITS PAINTED by the poop of birds. The view of the skyline of Toronto is wide and glorious. Parking around the block is available Mon to Sat 8am to 5pm for 2 hr limit.

Great place to visit

Sadly it was an amazing local place to have a nice easy mountain bike ride, however CLOCA has recently closed many of the off the beaten path, trails. Creating more conflicts. So much for the public stakeholders and consulting last fall.

They've opened the ice cream store at the Pavillion now. So much fun and the kids enjoy running around.

The silence and then the sound of waves. And then some seagulls...but it part of the package I guess. It is a really good walk around... and an amazing rocky shore... endless blues... and a far far away Toronto Skyline... must visit with a cup of coffee...

My 8yo niece Anna says, "Really like the monkey bars and rope ladder. Good for older kids, not babies."

Beautiful place to go for a walk along the waters edge, visit the light house down the pier, sit and enjoy the lake views.

Very scenic and quiet place. Love the Lakeview too.

Very nice park with lots of places to explore along the trail. The wildlife is really exciting with a variety of birds to bluewinged black birds and many insects. It was too crowded on the day I went.

Beautiful park that is tucked away from the big city. Moving to this neighbourhood soon and will be frequenting these trails often. If you go right onto the lake front, you can see the CN Tower.

Awesome!!

This was the most beautiful park we have been to recently!! Soo beautiful, the water area was so nice so clean and great place to go and sit without the hassle of a beach and sand! Bathrooms are nearby so not to worry! Kids enjoyed so much and hubby and I got to sit and enjoy the sound of the water ???? also bonus you can see the toronto skyline from there!

Has a nice walking path, a community center, a little ice cream shop, a fairly new splash pad and a fun playground for kids of all ages.

Cool spot to visit. Kids playground, rocky beach and plenty of shady spots to have a picnic. Pier has a lighthouse and a great view. Pack your patience to find parking

Quiet relaxed setting

So beautiful to walk by in the summer. Nice path. Walking distance to the lake.

Nice park lovely hiking trails

Not so many people if you go there on weekdays. Such beautiful park at the lakeside.

Very nice little space in the city. However, they need to enforce some rules more proactively- lots of people with their pets here. The sign at the entrance clearly states “no pets” but no one seems to care.

AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!! PERFECT TO RIDE YOUR BIKE :)

A great park made even better now with the new playground equipment

Nice place for take a walk and a lovely village around.

Great place to rent very close to water nice view

Very beautiful picnic point

Has a massive 3 floor tower, 2 zip lines, a 3 person forward-riding swing (never seen that before), a spider-web-slide combo, a child flinger, an enjoyable splash pad for 3+ yr olds, a toddler play area, a nearby beach, light house and a massive picnic area. Very busy on summer weekends and finding parking space is like winning a lottery. Be very early when you go or late after 7 pm. During the week it's easier to find parking and less busy. I would say this is the top playground in Durham.

I don't spend much time in Oakville so I was pleased to find this little gem right by the lakeshore. It isn't huge but has a nice little playground and a gazebo. It offers a very nice view of Lake Ontario as it is a little bit higher up. There are washrooms located at the top with disabled access.

Very quiet beautiful scenery

Tennis courts should be basketball courts.

Like it

Nice little park near Oakville Downtown, very nice looking and shaded area, and good place to take photos at the back of the museum building. However, parking is a bit challenging.

Beautiful park to stroll in during the morning. Great spot for pictures especially during sunset.

Short trails, not a lot to do unless you're bird watching.

Beautiful park. Nice place to spend some time

Mosquito's don't let you sit there even for a minute

Nice scenic walking trail

great outdoor activities, pinic area and playground for the entire family

Beautiful and serene, and lovely area to walk in. Didn't know such a lovely park existed within walking distance from the main street in Oakville

They have enough parking lots, descent access and play ground for kids plus splash pad , great for toddlers

Love my parks!

Love my area, beautiful place for a walk, friendly people everywhere

Great place

Great walk by the lake and great park for the kids. Has a small splash pad and sand pit too. Trails are somewhat muddy and slippery due to recent rain falls so take care when going with little kids.

Lot of space and benches. It also has a children playground and bicycle road.

Very nice mark to hang out and relax

Good park

Great water views

Fresh Air

Willows in the breeze Lakeside park So many memories

I had a really nice walk along the path. I love looking out over the little cliffs at the water. Just make sure you keep an eye on any little ones.

Amazing and quite place to walk with family and friends beside the Ontario Lake

Always great place to go year round

There is not much for the little ones. More for 4y and older. Small section 2 -3 y olds

Good place to get out and enjoy the lakeshore, lots of room. Good bike/jogging trail.

Great shady spots to escape the rays while enjoying a walk and the scenery

One of my favorite parks in the GTA. Water view, skipping rocks, view of the CN tower, gazebo, sitting area & a good size playground for the little ones. On top of all that you have the historic Thomas house and old post office to view (open very limited hours)

Such a neat little park. Great destination if exploring the waterfront. Pretty quiet in the evenings, nice place to sit and watch the sunset in the summer.

Lower slope

Great place to take kids with parking on the street. Splash pad. Biking and walking trails. Bring snack and picnic blanket.

Beautiful clean park on the waterfront. Not crowded. Excellent walking and biking trail. Very well maintained. A good place for whole family

The best in the urban area.

We Always go for a beautiful walk here, it’s very nice and very quite area.

Very clean easy to bike on trail with lots of wild life

Beautiful day. Nice walk along waterfront.

Very nice calm and not so busy park!! Far view of Toronto timeline

Good view of the lake

I was @ the pavillion for a family Christmas party on the weekend. I have never been here before, what a great place for a get together. Beautiful park land & the view of Lake Ontario is breathing.

A very beautiful park to visit on a hot sunny day.
