Fantastic experience. Facility is new and sparkling clean. Staff was super friendly. The vacuum chamber for simulated sky diving is large and accommodating. The instructor gives a lesson first then takes you in for two or three sessions. They get longer and more advanced. They have extended lessons and packages too if you really want to get into it. Overall a fun and unique way to spend a few hours.

I enquired about iFLY as a gift for a friend. After finding out how much it costs AND what was included in the package, it turns out I don't like this friend enough to pay soo much ????????????. What shocked me more was the 5 ???? reviewers who didn't mind paying for being flightless for all of 60 seconds. These are some of the same people who complain about hydro, rent/mortgage and basic cost of living, but have zero problem spending $200+ to be in the air for a minute....not even going on vacation.... really?

This place was fun a lot of people think that it's a falling feeling like a drop zone when you go inside the air tunnel but it's more like a strong breeze going against you and you're just floating around. It can be fairly rough on your joints so if you've had some arm injuries I'd be careful it does put a lot of pressure on you.

VERY DISAPPOINTED.... got this for a gift for my sisters and cousin... we called twice in advance to confirm our appt. When we got there of course they couldn't find our appt. They eventually after 45 mins later put us in a class with four year olds and a BEGINNER INSTRUCTOR. who explicitly told us he was was not qualified to take us actual SKY DYVING.... :( SO WE WENT FLOATING INSTEAD :( didn't go higher than our instructors head. Was an extreme disappointment and WASTE OF MONEY. Very sad.

A must do if you are afraid of flying or heights. I had fun and our french instuctor was funny and very nice. Did i forget to say not bad on the eye ????. Instead of jumping down you are being pushed up by strong fans. Its too expensive especially for first timers and the duration is way too short.

This was a great experience. From the moment we walked in we we're greeted with friendly, professional staff. There is plenty of space to watch others who are flying around and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The instructors that we spoke with were professional and helpful in every way possible. The orientation was informative and simple. Getting ready for our flights was quick and easy and equipment was easy to wear and use. The flights themselves were lots of fun. We flew for a total of 4 minutes, spread out over 3 flights. The instructor (Ryan) was very helpful throughout and gave lots of assistance and feedback to ensure each flight got better. The service and experience are both worth 5 stars easily, but the experience does lack a bit of value. Photos and videos are expensive and the flight times themselves are costly as well. We will certainly be back but due to the costs it will likely only be an annual trip. Try to have a friend or family member who isn't participating so they can take pictures and videos for you from the outside.

TL:DR; Misinformed, ignored, if you run into this issue call your Credit Card company they will refund you. I opted to use Ifly anyways despite this. I thoroughly enjoy the product they offer, although I recommend actual sky diving over it. My story is simple, a telephone call lead to misleading information, no problem, I asked them to fix it... they did not, i asked them to review phone calls because it was a clear misunderstanding between me and a staff member. Went in face to face and talked to Ron, everything seemed good really nice guy... then crickets... decided it wasn't worth it and admitted defeat (although i talked to my CC company and they said they would back me if i wanted them to). Re-booked, went in, saw Ron again... Super nice, gave me free video to try and make up for the mistakes... but ultimately i had been completely forgotten, he thought my name was Ryan... and he looked at me like we never meet and that we had no agreements that he would talk to upper management at all about my situation. overall an incredibly poor experience, for a service i legitimately wanted to use, i just didn't like the fact that i was misinformed (By the phone reps not the email reps). This has really soured my opinion of an other wise great experience. bonus star for the free video

Sounds like such a wonderful idea, But needing to reserve two weeks in advance (as I was told by their polite receptionist via the phone) I might as well just go to SkyDive Toronto, and jump same day from a real plane. If you have an open schedule and wish to save money, this is for you! If you have more money but a tight schedule, forget it, go for a real skydive!

I took my 78 year old mother-in law to iFLY a few weeks ago. I have to say I was so nervous about this but it was the best experience I have ever had in my life. We both are still talking about it. I wanted to mention our instructor was Ryan and if it was not for him I don't think I could have done this. He was so patient and just a wonderful person. He made us feel safe and he even took us to the top which I never thought I would do. Your the best Ryan!!! We will be back.

Parents of young flyers beware. Confirm that there is an instructor that is certified for flying kids before spending your cash here. They took our money and our son received a sub-standard experience compared to other adult flyers, only to be told afterwards that the instructor was not certified to fly children higher than chest level. He had to watch everyone else have a better time than him, which ruined the experience. Super shady sales tactic that discriminates against children. We won't be back.

It is a nice place and a fun experience. However, the flight instructors have different levels what they can offer to the group while everyone is paying the same price. I think this is not ok. I observed that the group in front of us received a tandem flight to the top, while our group didn’t. When I asked why, I was told by the flight instructor “I am not trained to do that. Sorry you got stuck with me.” Nice guy, of course not his fault. However, it left me feeling that I had less of an experience than other people. It was a birthday gift but I won’t be back. Mainly for the reason how the Manager downstairs responded, “We don’t know ahead of time what instructor is there.” Poor planning. He could have said, “I am so sorry, how about we give you some digital pictures for free to make up for your disappointment.” I would recommend customer service training how to respond to a dissatisfied customer to make sure he/she returns. For everyone reading this, make sure you get that tandem flight. Otherwise it’s just a 2 hour waste of time with a few minutes in the tunnel - 4 flights, 4 minutes but they make it a very lengthy process with lots of waiting time.

Fantastic gift idea and unique way of teaching someone to learn the subtle nuances of body movement and impact of such slight changes as hand angles etc. Staff are very informative and responsive to each diver's unique abilities. I've taken my 3 daughters, and partner there and all have found it challenging but fun!

They had no problem taking money for instructor ride, however, they did not provide photos we paid for. After my wife both emailing and calling, we did not get a response, or photos, or a refund. This place was fine and fun although it is pricey for a few minutes of actual time in the tube. They stretch it out with a tutorial and donning the flight suits and waiting for your turn. Feels like the free fall part of actual skydiving only less windy. It's a nice way to test if you want to ever try actual skydiving or if you're training and want to learn how to control your jumps. It will not replace the thrill of an actual skydiving experience.

We went to IFLY for my sister's birthday with 7 other people. It was my first time body flying. I was scared at first but the instructor Benwoit walked us through what we could expect and provided a 25-30 minute course (video/demonstration) of body flying. Then we got suited up and each person was alotted 2 rounds of 1 minute per fly. The instructor holds on to you in the chamber and is nearby at all times. Afterwards, we had the option of purchasing pictures and or videos at a great deal. The instructor was amazing! 5/5. He provided feedback during and after the flight. In addition, he also gave us a discount on our next flight if we were interested.

I didnt sky dive but went with my boyfriends family and they enjoyed it a lot. They had Benoit as an instructor and he was incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and professional. He made sure to bring the family close to us behind the glass as they sky dived to allow us to get great videos and pictures from the outside! He was also very skilled himself and made us want to try next time! A bit pricey but running the place must cost a ton and it was very busy the entire time we were there. One or two minutes seems very short but my boyfriends family said that after about 30 seconds your arms start to get tired and two minutes is just enough to really get the feel for it but was still very tiring.

This place is great! I used to skydive when I was younger and this tunnel gives you exact the same experience without the risk of getting hurt. Now, if you thing is adrenaline then you might get slightly disappointed. I would still recommend it, though.

It’s an opportunity to experience the sensation of free-fall. Imagine a 14 foot cylindrical diameter vertical tube that is 45 feet tall in which the airstream is passing at a speed of 175 km per hour. Once inside the wind tunnel, you will have a real sense of what skydivers experience during the free-fall portion of their jump, which is generally done from 13,500 to 3,500 feet of altitude at a speed of 200 km an hour. All of that in an environment so secure, it is safe for young children.

My brother is visually impaired. This is one of the few places that really goes out of their way for him. They take extra time with regards to education, coming up with a communication techniques in the wind tunnel, and providing him with opportunities to try different things. They are kind and considerate and have encouraged my brother. He did his first sky diving in 2017. My recommendation is that you always take the discount referral card after the session as you will probably be back. The lessons packages are great, and remember the card at the end. Thanks guys!

Came here with my boyfriend and had a blast. Our instructor Vinnie was great and the overall experience was one for the books. I gave this place a 4-star rating because of how annoying it was to deal with customer service. Had to call 3 times and send an email in regards to my booking because they had completely butchered my personal information (name, address, email address, etc). I was concerned because I hadn't received my confirmation email after paying and booking over the phone. Either the payment wasn't processed or the booking was incomplete in my head. After many attempts I had received the necessary documentation but it was just a hassle to go through. Customer service was definitely pleasant to talk to, but unfortunately they don't pay attention to personal details required when booking even if you phonetically spell it out for them. I highly recommend booking and paying online through their website to save yourself the trouble. I'll remember this myself next time. Overall it an unforgettable experience. The instructors are incredibly patient, encouraging and pleasant to interact with. They definitely make you feel comfortable and are great at giving you tips on areas where you need improvement. I found experience so much fun and would love to come back for a more advanced package. You won't regret it!

UPDATED on Dec 8 2016 (see the bottom) I was given the IFLY Toronto skydiving intro as a gift (3 flights in the session) the first time around and enjoyed it. That would have been the end of it, but... I was misled by Adrian (who no longer works for them) into purchasing the ever-present end of session sales pitch of buying more flights "and the next time you'll be taken to the top". During the second set of three flights I went to, Sebastian was the certified instructor. I was put in a group with all beginners, but he promised to teach me some tricks and take me to the top. Well, he didn't and after swinging around several 7-10 year olds, said his shoulder was hurting him. So I again I was conned into buying the ever present 6 flight sales pitch option after again being told that I could be taken to the top for sure on the next session. I bought it hoping that I would not be scammed. However, I have been calling IFLY to arrange for a certified instructor (I realize now that there are not many) who will be able to make my experience less underwhelming, and I've had no luck. So I sent an email to IFLY on Nov 27th 2016 to help with my issue. Nathalie from Customer Service responded and said that "flying with the flyers are at the discretion of the instructor and/or iFLY Toronto". They are unable to guarantee anything. So the instructors and their end of session sales pitches are basically lying. They tell you that you will be taken to the top next time around and learn new tricks, but it's all an effort to get your money, because later on customer service can tell you it's not guaranteed. IFLY says it does not give refunds, but I can't even transfer my $115 to someone else unless they have bought the $72 intro package first. This place is a joke, and unless you're willing to shell out some serious money to learn the fine art of skydiving in a wind tunnel, I implore you to just leave it alone after the first intro package. UPDATE Dec 2 2016: Dawn another customer service rep has agreed to set up a date next week for the experience I am looking for. I'll report back with an update afterwards. UPDATE Dec 8 2016: Finally taken to the top by a very capable Lorenzo. An exhilarating experience. All the adults and kids in our group who Lorenzo thought were relaxed enough were also taken to the top and it was their FIRST TIME out at iFLY. Make sure you get your money's worth and go early on a weekday with either Lorenzo or Chris if you want the same experience.

This was definitely a fun activity, although I did not believe the value was there. It is a lot of money to pay for 120 seconds in the tunnel! In addition, the experience would have been more enjoyable if our instructor had been a bit more enthusiastic. However, despite this, it is a cool experience.

Wow!!! What an amazing experience!! I took my kids here and they had a blast! The area where you fly is incased in glass and there are a lot of chairs around it in a big open room. So you can watch and take pics of those who are flying! Everyone flying is accompanied by an instructor, they help guide you and Work with you to make sure you have the best experience possible. They are super friendly. After everyone in the chamber has a chance to fly, the instructor will put on an amazing sky diving show to show you how good you can get. It’s really neat! Will go again!

Many people my feel like this is a rip off because of how expensive it is for what you get. But what people need to understand is that this is a skydiving simulator. Which means it is to simulate a skydiving experience. I've never been skydiving but I've been here many many times, but from what I know of real skydiving, it is very expensive. So if you are doing this as a hobby or as practice, it is a viable option. If you have a couple hundred bucks to drop I say it is well worth it. I love coming here and I will continue to come here. I love thrill seeking so this is truly the place for me. If you are cheap or expecting something else other than 2 minutes in a wind tunnel, which I know sounds ridiculous, than dont come here. But if you can appreciate it for what it is then you should come here. A very fun hobby.

Overall it was an amazing experience. I had a blast! I would definitely suggest anyone to at least try it once. The staff are all super friendly and very informative. My only complaint/suggestion, which has only has to do with ladies with long hair, is to wear your hair in a braid or tuck it underneath your helmet. I kept my hair in a low pony. It was "exposed" in the wind tunnel, and long story short- my hair turned into a knotty hurricane nightmare! I had to buy horse de-tangler... it took me almost an hour of pain and suffering to de-tangle my hair, not to mention I lost a lot of hair too! I wish someone advised me of this prior to.

This place was so ridiculous. I paid close to $70 for 2-3 minutes of “air time” just to be reprimanded for not having proper form... this is not easy especially for a first timer. The training was 10 minutes long and half the time my instructor was talking to the 2 children in my class about their lives. On top of a non-worthwhile experience, no photos were captured as the camera was broken and I wasn’t even told this until the very end, even though I had expressed interest in photos from the beginning and multiple times throughout. I also was charged an extra $10 for an add-on during my experience that I honestly didn’t even want to do. A legitimate waste of money and time.

Very nice staff. A bit of contract/waiver signing. They also weigh you. Ladies, my words of advice; don't wear makeup(especially brows), because you'll be wearing googles. If you have long hair you may want to wear it back in a low ponytail, because you"ll be wearing a helmet. Definitely recommend this place for a group or work party. I've been here twice. The price was steep but the experience is well worth it. Went as a work party, then talked a group of friends into going. Facility is clean, staff are professional, experience is amazing. If you're a heavier person, call ahead for pricing as there is a different package, but you also get 10 flights which gives you more training. Book your group ahead as there will likely be no room for walk-ins.

It's a wonderful indoor flying experience! Although it's kind of like learning to ride a bike and you won't get it right the first time, it makes for a thrilling and memorable experience. IFLY was an excellent experience. They take you through an orientation right to the experience teaching you all along the way. Their guides are excellent and reassuring for the young and old. I went with my 9 year old son. He found it a little difficult at the beginning but our guide taught him well and his subsequent "jumps" went much better. They tailor your experience to your level. I was able to run and jump into the tunnel and enter backwards. Our guide taught me how to manoeuvre up and down and side to side within the wind tunnel. Their video and picture package is well worth the price as well. Great quality and wonderful memories. If we lived closer my son would love to join the junior jump lessons.

IFly is a rip off, for $80 you get 2 times 1 minute training per person (keep in mind that if you want to fly above the glass level that's an additional $10 per person per fly), just before the flight they will try selling you an extra minute for $20, be very careful. At the end of the 2 minutes fly, children and their guests were extremely disappointed and I was discussed by the reception's response telling me that jumping off an airplane will cost almost the same and will take me 45seconds to touch ground. I'll let you be the judge. I gave a one start because you cannot post your message with NO start.

It must be cheaper compared to the waiting time, flying time and the possibility to have no tandem flight with an experienced instructor. response to the owner: You didn't find my name in the system because I have a second one that I use in public which I don't put in my email accounts..that simple. I would strongly suggest you to make it worth the money and at least add more flight time so customers can appreciate such memories.

Incredibly disappointing that iFly is not reopening nor responding to any correspondence from customers who have existing packages paid for. While they state they will honour them, as the province reopens safely, including live events, sporting events and other entertainment based activities, iFly fails to find a way to open with safety and covid protocols and provide the promised service their customers purchased. How long are we expected to wait while iFly has been absent of any correspondence for many, many months.

My brother and I recently tried iFLY and from start to finish our experience was great. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and pumped you up before your session! Our instructor Eric was very calm, thorough and funny. He even spent 10 mins talking to us after about different skydiving sites we can visit. Overall great experience and we are excited to go back!

My wife wanted to skydive but I had a secret dread of her jumping out of a plane. Bought several jumps for her at iFly for Christmas. She absolutely loved the experience. Great futuristic looking facility in Oakville. For a fee they provide video and photos of your flights. The instructor was very good. She will return for sure.

This is a wonderful activity to try! My daughter had her 11th birthday here and her and her friends couldn't stop smiling they had so much fun here! This place is worth what you spend and everybody is so happy there. SPECIAL THANKS TO RYAN FOR BEING A GREAT INSTRUCTOR! I love how they give a USB for every guest at the party with pictures and videos on it! When our cake toppled over, my daughter didn't care because of the fun she had in the wind tunnel! I definitely recommend this amazing activity and this great location! Once again a huge thanks to Ryan!

My only regret was not buying more flight time!! When you first arrive there I was greeted by the staff at the front desk. They bring up you reservation and have fill out a waiver form on a touch screen, which is printed out and then signed. After you have completely the check-in they let us know that our instructor for that day would be Julian and we were group 10. We were then told we were allowed to go upstairs and watch the other groups that were in the wind tunnel as we waited for our instructor. This made the wait go by a lot faster and was very entertaining. After a short while our instructor came out and got the members for group 10, 6 of us total. We proceeded to a small classroom watched a introduction video and then our Instructor Julian went over the basics on what signals, what to expect, how to position our body (with a little practice in there), how to control our flights and body better, and of course safety. After we had of classroom training we went to get geared up for the flight, no chains, necklaces, jewel or things that could fall are allowed in your pockets. They provide lockers free of charge right there that you can use and are safe. After we were geared up and it was our turn we had a quick safety review and enter the wind tunnel area where you sit as one person flys at a time with the instructor aiding them and giving them tips while they fly. At the end of each flight the Instructor Julian would gives us tips of how to improve for our next flight. The first flights are 1 minute long and allow for you to start getting used to the experience, after you are done each flight you go back into the clear waiting portion where you can view a video of your flight and see how you did and what you can improve. Once you have a few flights under your belt and are more used to it they flights are 2 minutes long for packages of 4 or more flights. All in all the experience was amazing, the staff were very polite, the instructor Julian was very nice, knowledgeable and helped us a lot in improving or flights. My only regret was not buying more flight time!!

Amazing place to go and have some fun! If you ever wanted to go skydiving but just are too scared of what might happen, this is the place to be. I got the 10 minute package and also for an extra 40 dollars I got a couch. Lorenzo was great with me, he was patient and a very good teacher. I would highly recommend getting the 10 minutes and the video after to see what you do in the air. I went here because I plan on going and getting my skydiving certificate. I can definitely see the benefits of doing this before going into the sky.

I flew today with my boyfriends's daughter (it was her birthday present) and it was an amazing experience. We had no idea what to expect but it was super fun. Our instructor, Chris, was really invested in making sure we knew what we were doing and had the best time possible. He genuinely seemed proud and happy for us when we got it right! Some advice for your first time - LISTEN to your instructor! Flying in a wind tunnel takes much more concentration and nuance than you would expect. Thank you again to Chris and the team at iFly - we really loved the experience.

We had an amazing time here. They are professional and friendly and they made the entire experience a ton of fun. Definitely worth trying. Gotta say I was apprehensive about doing it (got kids, aka responsibilities, so why put myself in a position to get hurt?) but the reality was that I found it perfectly safe, not out of control at all, and really my worries from beforehand turned out to be utter nonsense. I guess the fact that they kept asking everyone if we had had a shoulder dislocation in the past made me falsely assume that this activity was prone to causing that or other injury, but it's not the case (and they keep asking it merely because if u have had one then the activity may provoke another because of the stress by the wind tunnel on your now not-as-stable shoulder -btw: didn't feel anything remotely like stress on my shoulder during the flight). Highly highly recommended. Got as a gift: great gift!
