Great park. Right next to lake, rose garden, mature trees for ample shade and ponds filled with life. Not overly crowded and plenty of room for picnics. Great location for photos. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful park by Lake Ontario, full of wondrous landscaping and an art gallery. Frogs, turtles and geese roam the grounds. The Rose Garden is beautiful. A wonderful area for photography (requires a permit for wedding photography).

I was blown away by how beautiful this park is. Extremely well maintained, a small parking lot though so be careful if you are going on a busy weekend. They have a small rose gardens and the view for lake Ontario is next to none. I don't think a lot of people know about this place yet so found peaceful as well

jayanth siripereddy

Not a big park but short and sweet. Best for wedding and graduation photography

Danielle Michelle Walsh (Dani)

Beautiful garden walk, down to the lake (from Lakeshore drive to the waterfront), with a small paved walkway actually on the waterfront. On part of the shoreline there is a small chain fence (which is more for esthetics, as it wouldn't do …

Beautiful Park, must see the small botanical garden part in the garden itself.

It's a beautiful park in summer and spring, even in winter I love the feel of this place. There is a small parking with many spots available. Weekends are much more busier. Wear your winter boots and you can walk all the way to the lake. It's beautifully white right now. Watch out for the two small ponds that are covered with snow and buried underneath, you don't want kids running off from the path. Stay on the path which is next to the benches. You can walk all the way to the lake

Beautiful garden with amazing views. Though the park is not huge but its really peaceful and relaxing place. There are so many magnificent flowers with different colors which is refreshing. The parking area is limited and it's free. There is a small bridge and a fountain which adds more beauty to the park. For photography, its one of the must visit place to to capture great photos. Highy Recommended!!!✅✅

No words can describe the beauty of Gairloch Gardens. These are one of a kind in Oakville. On the banks of Lake Ontario, there is abundance of greenery and many picturesque views. On a good day, you can see turtles and frogs too. There is a water fountain as well and rocks and benches to sit on. CAUTION- LIMIT OF MAXIMUM 5 PEOPLE DURING COVID-19

Amazing garden with pathways and ponds filled with turtles and frogs. Great view of Lake Ontario. Lots of beautiful flowers and streams, water fountains, and a pedestrian bridge. Perfect for photography. Parking lot is not big and can fill up quickly.

An extremely beautiful, serene and peaceful garden tucked away from the city. Less than an hour drive from Toronto, big waterfront property that also houses a Gallery. Entrance to the park is Free, limited parking on the property. Great spot for hanging out with friends, family or do a photoshoot even. I see wedding shoots taking place at the time. Definitely worth a visit on a nice sunny summer day. Just take the Lakeshore East and you'll be there.

Gorgeous gardens on Lakeshore in Oakville. This is a perfect spot for a peaceful walk close the lake shore, with paved walkway. Amazing picture spot with a ton of flowers, archways, benches and a little gazebo. I'm completely enchanted with this garden. There is a cute little pond and fountain with turtes and frogs. I did not personally see them but did see a few species of ducks by near the rocky shores. Great spot to take pictures!

I love this garden amazing spacious park, with flower garden and nice trees the kids can climb, you can walk near the lake as well. We had a picnic there the kids loved it they found turtles, fish, ducks and frogs all around the ponds. Very nice garden for pictures and family and friends gathering, very quite and peaceful. The only thing there’s not a lot of parking spaces

Jim Au

Small but very nice garden with lots of flowers and right by the lake. Well kept garden. Will go back

Irina

Beautiful garden, though not big. It 8s more for adults to sit and enjoy the time. With kids, not much to do.

Lorie Ercolani

So beautiful and relaxing to walk in such a beautiful garden. Well kept and clean. The rose garden was so pretty and the smell of rose was so pleasant. The sound of the water breaking on the rocks was so relaxing. Such a pleasant day, I highly recommend it

Very beautiful and well maintained garden. Must watch. Enjoy the beautiful flowers and rose garden too. Parking is very limited and free. Option of pre booking of parking online available for Saturday and Sunday and these are labeled as reserved for weekends. Weekdays and morning hours in summer and spring is best time to visit

If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet place with a rose garden and beautiful iron sculptures this is the place. It has a secret garden - well manicured and maintained. Lots of places for sitting and taking pictures. There's a bridge with a water fountain which is lovely and peaceful to look at. A true artist and photographer's dream!

Such a beautiful place for an evening walk. Stumbled upon this place while taking a random drive with my family and we all fell in love. It was a quiet, non crowded, serene location. It’s perfect for experiencing some down time or simply a great spot to take a book and read, while listening to the waves of the lake hitting the shore.

Dilany Nathan

Found this place very beautiful and peaceful. Has a few benches where you can sit and enjoy the water view. Will definitely go back again in the summer time when the flowers are grown.

bethlehem tilahun

One of the most beautiful gardens you have to see.

Reza R

Very nice small garden, with lots of flowers. Nice picturesque view! Good for nature and floral photography. Well kept. There are some tropical flowers hard to find in Canada, Water Lily, Hibiscus, and some others. Also, there's a nice swan, kids favourite! Only challenge is parking, if you want a parking spot, you need to go when it is not super busy. In summer, after 5pm, it becomes

Great park with great views of nature and water. Some sections you can see the lake in all its glory, and deeper into the park you get great interfaces with small rivers. Perfect for a day visit, nature hike or to clear your head of useless thoughts. Best part about it is it feels like you're not in the city, despite still being in the city!

Sorbez Zavareh

Very Nice and hidden park! I am very impressed that such a small park includes a very beautifull water view, along with trees and flowers. I recommend this park to people that want to enjoy a nice view but not to people who want a walk, bike or hike since it does not include any trails. One bad thing about this park is its small parking and having to wait to get a spot to park. Bug again, the park is very peaceful and includes a very wonderful flower garden.

Beautiful garden and very nice place for relaxing.

This is such a cute and picturesque park. It’s like a fairyland in Ontario. We were lucky to enjoy a beautiful sunset at this park. It would be an amazing location for photoshoots.

Erich B

Among the most beautiful parks in the area. Ducks and geese all year round and beautiful flowers in spring and summer. The waterfront has also been renovated recently and is a wonderful area to walk. Great for kids and adults.

What a gem! Really easy to access pff the main road. Multiple mixed gardens, paved trails, lakeside views and benches, rose gardens 2 parking areas inside the path and on side of road. Space is very limited. Can get great pictures by the lake as well

Sandra Lynsdale

Gorgeous gardens and lovely place to come for a photo shoot. It’s located right off of lakeshore rd and the parking lot is a separate entrance (free parking) off to the side and not the main entrance. I would highly suggest spending an afternoon here and having a picnic. Only downside was that the main office was closed and there was no bathroom access when I went.

Nina K

Loved this place. Beautiful lakeside garden with a huge selection of flowers, benches to sit and a lily pind

James K.

Very impressed by this little park in the beautiful neighborhood. The main view of the park look over lake Ontario breathtaking. No need to book early like other provincial parks in Ontario during the pandemic. Great place to visit for weekend day trip.

Nwar A

A gorgeous garden next to the lakefront! Best place for a photo shoot. Be sure to bring your tripod! Maintained for public entry, with frogs and turtles nearby. Bring your patio chairs to watch the sunset along the lake! What a gem in the town of Oakville!

Zippaty Jr

Beautiful well manicured gardens, didn’t know such a place existed! Right by the water and so tranquil - highly recommend for a walk and to enjoy the beautiful lakeside Only downside is there are very few parking spots
