Beautiful park if you are looking to go on a brisk walk with your dog or with your significant other. A lot of space to sit and enjoy the view of Toronto. The shoreline is nice to walk along but it's a bit rocky so be careful. There's a lot of parking and it's right beside downtown Oakville.

A lovely little park right on Lake Ontario. The space is very well allocated, with a playground for young kids, a decent sized band stand, and plenty of picnic tables scattered around in the shade of lovely, mature trees. Clearly the locals enjoy it, as there were plenty of them there today! >^..^<

Place is beautiful but not maintained well by the town. Roads are bad, potholes, parking is poor, and place looks in disrepair. Could have been better. Overall good experience. The trail is well worth walking towards east, lots of area for kids to play safely. Old town appearance is what I like the best.

A beautiful park by the water surrounded by many gorgeous old houses in downtown Oakville. There's a path at the waters edge that peaceful winds through the park. Many places to sit and enjoy the scenery. It's pandemic time so people are keeping their distance. Stay safe out there people. Lockdown or not, keep washing those hands!

I love this parc. Since years coming here. If is to cold just sitting in the car, watching the lake. In the summer just walking around. Or just sitting on the rocks and getting inspired by the mother nature. Always a beautiful place to hide from a busy world.

A very small park alongside a residential street. Very limited parking - maybe two cars? It's a lovely little neighbourhood park with nice lake views. However, this is not a tourist destination. I would recommend Lakeside Park which is a short walk to the West. Lakeside Park is much nicer.

Nice park and awesome trail along the lake. It's walking distance from Oakville downtown and there are several seating places facing the lake. Was really calming and not much crowded. Being so close to downtown yet felt peaceful here. Nice for walk and even just to sit and admire the lake. Get a coffee from the downtown area and relax here.

Dingle Park is one of the loveliest parks I've ever been to. There were benches and trees and a lakeside view. My biggest disappointment though was an astounding lack of dingles in the area. We might have seen one floating in the water, but otherwise no dingles. Maybe it's not the season for them.

Located in downtown Oakville,Dingle park is marked by a large willow tree. I recommend that you include Riverside Park next door in your walk. On a clear day, you can see as far as Toronto and Burlington.

I came here with my boyfriend in December of 2020, during the pandemic. He was driving and we came across such a beautiful lake. We knew we had to go. We had to park a little farther since there was no parking near. From where we were, the entrance is a small opening of the trail with a trees covering a bit, hinting of the beautiful blue water. The trail is narrow and goes a long way. But the view is amazing. It was kinda cold that day. We sat on the bench and hearing the water move was so peaceful. There was not much people that time either so it was great. Lovely park and i would visit it again someday this summer if i can!

Nice views but this park is really not prepared for the amount of people walking its paths on a nice day. Not a lot of green spaces and almost entirely trails. Be careful walking as some of the path is not as well maintained or wide enough.

Always pleasant to walk through this park, on the shoreline, which abuts the streets south of Lakeshore with many historic houses (with plaques). Never busy with traffic and I never tire of looking at the architecture of the old houses from a bygone era. Lakeside Park is a short walk away along Front Street, with its pier and historic (unoccupied) buildings.

We found this park accidentally on our trip to Niagara and liked it so much that it became a habit to visit on every trip to Niagara then we fell in love with it so much that we only go here and don’t continue the trip to Niagara. Have seen it in all seasons and weather types and can’t get enough of it. Few but enough benches. Clean and well maintained. It is small and romantic and the lovely neighbourhood gives it a homy character. The view to the lake can’t be described and must be seen.
