Well, you'll be surprised to learn that BBQ is not allowed in all Oakville parks!! We didn't know that, we did BBQ there a couple of times and no one said anything, but this time the security guy was so rude that he insisted we turn off everything and stayed around for a while to make sure we are not bbq-ing again!! He claimed that bbq is only allowed under the shelter area and with permit! The bottom line, it is a nice park for a picnic. And the ice cream shop is ????????????yum
Nice outdoor setting with ample space for kids to run around..parking might get a bit busy but is not too hard to find.
Love this place. Overcrowded but still one of the best parks to enjoy
Great place for family picnic. Splash pad was great! Water is actually clean and went for a swim. A bit disappointed with people using the park. Litter everywhere. I picked up a lot of plastic bottle litter and cups . Hope park staff can take into consideration to put more rubbish bins especially close to shore side.
Very family friendly place with splash pad fun and playground for children. Picnic tables and sheds are available, washrooms and free parking as well. Coronation park is on lakeside and has beautiful views to enjoy.
Family friendly environment. Parks, splashpad and BBQ grills for park use complete with gazebos.
Very nice neighborhood with a spacious park. Lots of parking available, multiple kids play areas and washrooms onsite.
Great green area by the lake. Enjoy the beach, throw a frisbee, Play in the waterpark, have a picnic... all in a beautiful residential community in Oakville. Easy access in and out.
Very nice park for all seasons. It is such an enjoy to walk along the lake shore. There is children’s playground, and several parking places. The light decorations on trees are amazing.
Beautiful park right on Lake Ontario. Sandy beach, lots grass, picnic tables parking and playgrounds
nice place for family picnic with enough parking but it can be not enough on weekends during summer. big playground, washrooms, beach volleyball and splash pad are available. last but not least access to lake and view of toronto downtown on a clear day makes this park very special.
Definitely worth the drive to walk the trail along the waterfront! Peaceful and colourful! Free public parking with plenty of space available.
Good place to visit with family.
Breath taking lake shore views, nice swings and outdoor play area for children, bbq spots, washrooms, water pad, shaded seats, numerous benches and a lot of parking, everything that makes a part wonderful! This place gets crowded in Summer holidays, so if you can enjoy the sunny days of spring and fall at this place, you’d be creating many good memories! Note: the shore is rocky, do not expect a sandy beach
Perfect for families, parties and picnics. Kids love it's water park. lots of free parking spots available too.
View is beautiful. Lake is amazing
Amazing park, has many kids swings and slides. Clean and very organized
Excellent beach park with activities for everyone (play area, sandy beach and picnic spot) that sits on the Waterfront Trail. Always enjoy a stroll here while my little one is making friends with seagulls.
Loved this park. Great playscape and awesome free splash pad!
Beautiful lights and a nice evening stroll.
Excellent little park on Lakeshore Rd just east of Third Line. It situated right on the lake with part of the Trans Canada Trail running through it. The park also features a band shell, children's playground, a splash park (in the summer months) as well as some food and restroom facilities. Over an awesome park to spend the day out with family and friends!
Love the location ... free water activities for kids ... right by the lake. Wish it had extra picnic benches and they could do something about the stink of Geese-poop. Bring your own chairs. Bring plenty of sports activities since there's ample room to play. On weekends in summer, try and arrive by 11-11:30 otherwise finding parking is very hard.
One of the best parks in the GTA (IMO); washrooms, concession, picnic tables, BBQ pits, fields, loads of playground space, splash pad, waterfront with rocky shore and lots of parking.
Water is clean and warm too. Kids loved it.
I love this park!! I did my engagement there (that’s how nice it is) Beautiful views, and good vibes The only thing I noticed now the have shelters blocked for some reason. Parking/ washrooms are available To book events there call 311
Great for families. Big park for smaller kids and big kids. Awesome splash pad and amazing waterside views. I did my workout while my kids played. Hours of fun for all of us.
Play ground has swing, slide, and clim Have parking nearby, waterpark and a washroom.
Park is great but it is deteriorating fast since last facelift, mainly because of the uneducated crowds that started visiting the park in recent years. This park used to be a gem up until 5 years ago, picnicking should be limited to really small groups and contained in a separate area, is ridiculous to see family parties of 20+people taking up much of the lawn.
Quiet walk along the water's edge... Grass beneath your feet... Mature trees to give you shade... A children's playground and splash pad... What more can you ask!!
Best picnic with park, beach and water sports with free parking
Good park for going with kids, family and groups too.
Cute little park with an amazing view! There is 2 playgrounds adapted for toddlers up to older child. Also, an ice cream bar shop and a big splash pad are in place but was closed when I visited. Some section is paved convenient for biking, rollerskating, stroller .. Negative point : - Intense bugs -poop everywhere and parking limited. Overall it's great ????
Big and beautiful with some incredible trees.
Love this park. There is sand box, slides and splash pads for the kids. Long track to walk and lots of space for picnic. BBQ I believe is not allowed. We were stopped to do Bbq by the park maintenance crew.
Loved it..tons of free space. The lake view is fantastic. My little one had an awesome time! Planning on coming back soon
Nice quiet place, if you love nature this is a must visit.
Although it was extremely busy, the park is generally well maintained and clean.
#WTVC Picnic
Pretty clean park bust since COVID has become completely over loaded and rammed. Impossible to get a parking spot or even walk through the park without running into a group of 30.
Beautiful weather, great for kids, busy.
Nice Park for family and nice view of the lake
I was amazed at how the park was nice and had a really peaceful atmosphere. Not too busy and overcrowded specially during current times with Covid-19. PS: lots of goose ???? though over there.
Beautiful place to go and I wish I had a house there...
It was very busy but a great view and lots of space to sprawl out and social distance. Great for walks and dogs!
Best park for families.
This park is great because it has a nice little section for smaller kids and a more challenging one for bigger kids. I really like the three separate rock climbing walls and the monarchy-themed splash park. The beach is great too, with lots of small stones and sand for kids to play with. We enjoyed having a picnic in the shade of one of the huge willow trees. Also tons of parking and easy to get in and out!
The beach is a great place to swim, but the amount of garbage people leave behind at the park on a weekend is beyond disturbing.
Ample parking, fun splash pad and good children park with multiple tiny beaches. BBQ is NOT allowed, but you can still enjoy a good picnic.
The shore is lined with rocks, and there is a wonderful lake nearby. For the kids, there is a playground and a splash area. Barbecue is permitted, and if coal is left on your charcoal barbecue, there is a location where it can be dumped.
It's a nice and beautiful park with a view of Lake Ontario. It has a short waterfront trails that you can use for a small walk or run, biking or skating. There are picnic benches under a gazebo that gives you a really nice picnic experience and multiple benches you can sit down and enjoy the view. You also can bring your own picnic chairs and sit down under lots of shady trees. It's a nice place for a day picnic for groups. Ample parking is available, too.
✅ Family Friendly ✅ Splash Pad and Playground ✅ Clean ✅ Plenty space for picnic ❌ Parking ????️
Fantastic; lovely place to go with your family on the week-ends. Awesome water park; safe for kids of all ages; convenient washrooms, water refill stations, etc. Would definitely recommend and come back again!
What a great place to spend time with the nature, lush green well maintained park with view of the magnificent Lake Ontario. A must visit is recommended.
Nice place but limited parking
Very nice , clean, tidy and beautiful place ????
Very beautiful at nights with the lights on trees
It was my first time visiting this lovely park and I strongly believe that I'll be back many times. It's full of green space and places to play with the kids. it seems to have just one big cover area for barbecue or lunch and in reasonably extensive sand area. Well it's not actually send but instead rocks. All good.
Phenomenal views of the lake We bring the kids and walk here sometimes There is splash pad kids love it Highly recommended
Coronation Park is beautiful, lots for the kids to do summer and winter. It is a bit crowded at times but there is also a lot of space to spread out.
A great place for a short walk with your family or the dog. They have a play area for kids, some big rocks by the lake with some amazing views - something for everyone! Highly recommend checking out this hidden gem if you are looking to kill some hours on a weekend
It is a lovely place. Good for picnic or to spend some quality time.
Beach is rebuilt. All necessary facilities are there.
Tons of humans at the park.... Nice views....very busy....oh lastly there's tons of water
Facilities are great! lake water isn't clean. So I wouldn't swim but floats or boats would be great! Still a lot of things to keep busy and enjoy
Love it! The kids went for a walk then played in the nice and calm water. Yes, at times it can be a little rough with the waves, but the water is still safe and warm!
Excellent park with beach and splash pad. The water was nice. Good thing about the park is free parking and no limit due covid but people still maintained social distance. The water was good enough for taking a swim. Nice greenery and washroom close to splash pad.
Very pleasant lake side park. Lots of parking and amenities.
Wonderful getaway and just an amazing trail abutting lake.... unbelievable experience...a must visit... especially Christmas time...must watch the illumination...just out of the world feeling
It's a beautiful place to go in relax
Ot is a place where you can come and relax ????
Nice park to go for a walk. Good parking!
Great place to hangout but lots of bugs
How I love this park! Even with the playground closed due to covid-19 the trail along the water is so nice!!! There are an incredible number of flies tho which can be pesky but if you ignore them and walk fast they're not too bothersome.
Beautiful family park on the shores of Lake Ontario in Oakville. Although nothing much happens in winter, in summer times it gets quite busy. Whether you are into BBQs (with some restrictions), picnics, walk or just chill…do nothing but watch the beautiful blue waters, this is THE place. Great place for kids with play areas and splash pads. If you have large family gatherings or company picnics planned, sheltered picnic areas can be rented from city of Oakville. Make sure to book well in advance because they get booked 6 months or more in advance. There is also a stage for events.
Love this small park (when it's not too crowded)
Huge green space with two large playgrounds. Tons of parking but it does fill up quick in the summer. Nice trails. S rovky brach with views of Toronto.
So much fun as for kids as they love it !
Over a year of random constructions. We get kicked out when we want access the water. Also no access to splash pad.
- Perfect for family / friends gathering (Picnic, potluck) - Bring your own mats or big beach towels - Bring portable table or chairs - Parking is available, but limited so plan ahead - NO BBQ ALLOWED, so bring cooked food, or ready to eat food. - Washroom is available as well - There's area with roof table and chairs, but it's closed during the pandamic
Nice view nice park, but gets VERY crowded. Have to go early morning or risk it with the crowd
The Symbol means The Deepest Respect And The Deepest Gratitude
Beautiful park, very clean. You can go for a nice walk by the water, and it's great for kids.
Very nice Park, good to see majority of facilities open now including washroom and splash in Covid. Only concern is limited parking.
Clean, not overly crowded most days, great place to bring kids, walk the dog, have that cute picnic date you always wanted. Nice places to take pictures.
Coronation beach front is clean and excellent for walking. Kids play Area facility of waterfalls and picnic area within park.
Lovely! Great views of the Toronto skyline, very clean, lots of trash cans, and recycle bins. Also a ton of shade in the form of trees. We came at 2 and found a few tables under the gazebo. The water is very clear as well.
Good place to see sun rise ...
Playground, splash pads and nearby washrooms. Parking was hard though
Beautiful place to relax. You're lucky if you find parking
I loved this place! Beautiful stones, 1 Park for young kids, 1 Park for a bit bigger kids, a Waterpark, and picnic area. But the problem is that near the stones area, there are WAY to many spiders. Except the sand area. But there isn't much sand.
It's a great place. The little ones enjoy very much the shallow water and water park. plenty parking lot ????????
Pretty good place for a family picnic with splash pad for the kids. It does get quite busy on weekends to the point that you may not be able to find a parking spot. The 2 picnic sheds are large enough for several families to use at once if not booked for a private function. Bathroom facilities are typical of public bathrooms with ice cold water. Don’t understand why the Town of Oakville wouldn’t allow personal BBQs in municipal parks but that’s what the notice says at the park.
It's a lovely lakeside park. Be advised that while it has a beach but it's stones so should you want to get into the water you'll want to be prepared
Nice place for family and kinds
Great park. Better enjoyed during the week when traffic is minimal.
Great Park. Huge playgrounds, I've cream parlor, huge splash pad, 2 public sand volleyball nets, lots of waterfront space, round Pebble all along the lake front. My only regret is the lack of parking. During weekends, you'll have a hard time finding parking after 12pm
Always a great spot to stop and relax. Been visiting since the 80's. Played as a child and played with my children in the water and the park. I do miss the old Summer Festivals.
Too crowded and water's edges and rocks full of algae... Could be a pretty little park with a bit more maintenance... Update... The park is full of garbage everywhere!...not to mention the horrible smell!
Perfect place to have a good time with your family I really loved it
Nice place for BBQ water park but beach is not for swimming
Many bugs and flies, though the view of the lake is amazing and lots of space for picnics
Park has enough parking, splash pad with unique design of mediveal crown, shelter, children's playspace, beach with sand, with rocks
Beautiful place, but limited walking paths so not an ideal place for long walking.
Good park for picnics, walking or just hanging out. Good view of the city and its a good size as well.
It's a beautiful park. The park is located very close to Lake Ontario. There is a huge parking lot for cars. There is plenty of space for picnics and for children to play. It's very clean and modern looking.
Amazing trail and peacful atmosphere to enjoy with loved ones. A drink date on the beach worth the view and impression.
Park is always great, but was crowded as expected due to the warm weather. Refreshing as always and great to see many people. All amenities were clean and well maintained. Need more parking though. But overall very well done.
My grandkids loves the water park.
Oakville has a LOT of parks, so it's not without hesitation that I say Coronation is the best one. But I'm partial to being lakeside. I love standing on the pebble beach, watching the waves lap the shore.
Great option for a picnic with the family. Large playground area and good splash pad. Lots of space for picnic but they do not allow portable gas barbeque grills.
Great place to relax and unwind. Needs more benches.
Amazing place for family outing. Gets crowded though and parking spots are limited so arriving early in the day is recommended. Lot of activities for kids to enjoy.
Beautiful, calm and relaxed place to visit
Great place to spend several hours, especially on a hot day.
It's a nice organized park to spend a few hours with the family
Great place, good amenities for kids, sand playground, splashpad etc.... beach was dirty though.
Best place to visit during summer. Splash pad is awesome ????
a really nice park, it has clean bathrooms and ice cream stand during the summer time lots of places to sit a big playground for kids, and also has a few volleyball courts
Nice parks
Very nice place for family picnic
Great place. Some more parking spots will be better.
One of the best parks to visit with family and kids. Splash pads with beachfront and a clean facility to enjoy. Must visit.
Not sure where all the flies came from. Probably the food people get attracts them. The park is clean. It has a sandy beach, gravel beach and one with rocks. The park officers were vigilant and stopped loud music at few gatherings. I will visit again.
Love it, specially the kids splash area. Only problem is finding parking on nice summer weekends. And don't think about double parking, you will get a ticket, they're always around.
We got a BBQ ticket at this place ????
Beautiful park to take the kids to.
Picnic shelters are closed. Very few picnic tables, so don't forget to bring folding tables and sitting arrangements. Kids enjoyed the splash pad. Great weekend retreat.
Great place for a rest or a walk. Free parking and plenty of places to sit and take in the waves of the lake.
Very good clean place. However overcrowded due to hot june weekend. Parking is hardly available. Still a good spot.
I used to go bronte beach park but for some reasons it's getting nasty over there. So I think this park is the best next option, closer to Bronte.
I love this park. My children enjoy every time we come I really recommend I can't exaggerate enough. I recommend the birthday cake ice cream and the walks along the beach are amazing!!!????????????????❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful place! We were able to stay away from others because of the open spaces (covid 19 bah :( ). They have great slides and water fountains and play areas. It was an afternoon well spent
Coronation Park has a great view and a nice walk along the lake. Playground for kids, ample parking, nice rocks along the water, birds and soothing water. Highly recommend for a quiet walk
Love this place. Great place to bring the family.
Nice view of the lake with a splash pad. Good place for summer time out.
It was very smelly. And there were way too many mosquitoes there. We didn't feel safe to open our food there. However, if you are just looking at pictures, it's gorgeous.
Beautiful place to bring your friends and family. Often there are free concerts and events to enjoy.
Peaceful place if you are to spend a lazy evening
Nice park to spend weekend with kids and some BBQ - lots of free activities for kids - its has a lake beside it which makes is more beautiful
Clean park overlooking the water with tones of greenery and space to setup a soccer game or badminton game with the friends and family. Kids splash pad is great for parents and ample tent space/canopies with picnic benches to sit and feast. Quite hidden gem offering 2 volleyball courts as well. Very satisfied with our visit.
Large park on the water's edge with views of Toronto.
This is a very beautiful place to and have a nice picnic with the family. There are a lot of benches to sit in each and some other shaded areas that are quite spacious and plenty of them. Grassy patches are large and there is also a place for volleyball
Quality sand. Lake had water. Seagulls were only 36% annoying.
One of the best-maintained parks on Oakville's Waterfront Trail. There is a children's playground and restrooms, making it a great place for a walk. At Christmas time there is also an illumination event, so we recommend stopping by!
Love this place, really fun for children and family, traffic view, playgrounds are really fun and safe for children, washrooms are accessible and mostly clean. The water park is really good and children could all day long. Also people can barbecue there. The only thing it's a challenge to find a parking spot in summer. Otherwise, I live spending my whole day long over there
The kids loved the water splash. So nice place for family with kids. but so hard to find parking.
I love this place, there are so many activities here for you and your kids. They might enjoy it
Quaint calm and peaceful Lakeshore park...
Let’s walk through a 5-step process for building a paragraph. For each step there is an explanation and example. Our example paragraph will be about slave spirituals, the original songs that African Americans created during slavery. The model paragraph uses illustration (giving examples) to prove its point. Step 1. Decide on a controlling idea and create a topic sentence Paragraph development begins with the formulation of the controlling idea. This idea directs the paragraph’s development. Often, the controlling idea of a paragraph will appear in the form of a topic sentence. In some cases, you may need more than one sentence to express a paragraph’s controlling idea. Here is the controlling idea for our “model paragraph,” expressed in a topic sentence: Model controlling idea and topic sentence — Slave spirituals often had hidden double meanings. Step 2. Explain the controlling idea Paragraph development continues with an expression of the rationale or the explanation that the writer gives for how the reader should interpret the information presented in the idea statement or topic sentence of the paragraph. The writer explains his/her thinking about the main topic, idea, or focus of the paragraph. Here’s the sentence that would follow the controlling idea about slave spirituals: Model explanation — On one level, spirituals referenced heaven, Jesus, and the soul; but on another level, the songs spoke about slave resistance. Step 3. Give an example (or multiple examples) Paragraph development progresses with the expression of some type of support or evidence for the idea and the explanation that came before it. The example serves as a sign or representation of the relationship established in the idea and explanation portions of the paragraph. Here are two examples that we could use to illustrate the double meanings in slave spirituals: Model example A — For example, according to Frederick Douglass, the song “O Canaan, Sweet Canaan” spoke of slaves’ longing for heaven, but it also expressed their desire to escape to the North. Careful listeners heard this second meaning in the following lyrics: “I don’t expect to stay / Much longer here. / Run to Jesus, shun the danger. / I don’t expect to stay.” Model example B — Slaves even used songs like “Steal Away to Jesus (at midnight)” to announce to other slaves the time and place of secret, forbidden meetings. Step 4. Explain the example(s) The next movement in paragraph development is an explanation of each example and its relevance to the topic sentence and rationale that were stated at the beginning of the paragraph. This explanation shows without adding another sentence to explain it
What an amazing place, a vast outdoor space with barely any people, a huge playgray for kids steps away from the water a beautiful Rocky beach with Siegel's hanging along the sides. A few picnic areas around on fortunately closed now due to Colvin.
It’s popularity has increased since I left the area. A special gem for East Bronte and along the Lakeshore.
This has always been one of our family faves. A great place for a stroll or a full days outing that includes a nicely designed splash pad which also has a little 'water bucket dump' like the big fancy water parks - perfect for little princesses and princes alike! There is a playground area for the kids to keep them even more busy as well. Lots of pavilion spaces that can be rented for large gatherings too. On the far East end of the trail are some great waves to be seen and they sound just like the ocean! The only thing that was not that great was the limited beach area and swimming spot. Recently, there were signs warning of high bacteria in the water, so no swimming was encouraged. An area of the park also smelled funny, but it is a specific area. Overall a very nice place to visit none the less.
Possibly one of the best park in Oakville. The lakeside view is so beautiful. take your do here for a walk, you won't regret it.
Best Location to spend time with ur friends,family,B.B.Q,Swimming & Kite Flying as well...
Absolutely beautiful place. Best time to visit in summer though as it gets really windy
Good rides and park for kids. Nice beach
Excellent park. Lots of activities to do, including playing at the beach, splash pad, or just enjoy the view of Lake Ontario from under the shade of many large trees into he park. The sandy beach area is not very big. Most of the shoreline has round rocks. Looks beautiful.
Very good place for family picnic.sitting area is still closed coz of penademic.splash pads are open .enjoy
Simply amazing park with lots of space, huge playground, picnic area, parking and nice calming views.
Beautiful place to have coffee and watch the sun rise
This is best real picture .
Love this park!! Beautiful and big perfect for kids or a stroll around the water! So peaceful ???? The polar bear dip was really well organized also!!
Was very nice, good weather as well as park atmosphere, people respected the province bylaws, excellent social distancing observed. We all enjoyed well and specially our kids.
Its a really good spot for a casual swim or during the summer time, the water gets a little cold after the month of august though, beautiful place.
Lot of play structure options for small n bigger kids. Nice walkway along waterfront. Splashpad is closed. Clean washrooms. Small ice cream parlor.
Beautiful, calm and picturesque. Sit by the lake and enjoy the serenity. It is very spacious and parking lot is big and free.
Nice and clean park. Lot of areas for kids to play and have fun.
The water park and the playgrounds are clean but very busy!! My kids love the water park. Lake is nice my daughter loves it!!
I should have given 4 stars. But two factors - a) there is some construction going on in parts of the park and b) the bar is set pretty high in Halton region. There a number of 4 or 5 star parks.
lovely, we maintained park, playground and picnic area. Gets busy in summer but you can run under the sprinklers or dip your toes in the lake on the pebble beach.
A nice open, clean park on lakeshore in Oakville, overlooking Lake Ontario. Two parking lots and a good 1 km walking trail. Be careful going close to water as you have to step over many stones. As weather is warming up, beware of ticks when you sit on the grass????????????
Good shade, limited crowd, and clean park.
Perfect spot for everyone in the family. Water splash and playground for the kids. Adults can enjoy the relaxing view of lake Ontario or take advantage of the green areas and beach volleyball courts for some exercise. Nice location on the lakeshore with a nice scenic view of downtown Toronto skyline
Great place to enjoy with family and friends. Not sure about current covid restrictions but they had water splash open for kids before too. Nice spacious park, good for a family day of relaxation
Beautiful lighting display during Christmas time! My family really enjoyed the lights
Great destination for all seasons! Beautiful area in the summer with a nice breeze off the lake. During the winter there is an amazing Christmas light display! Perfect little spot for the family, solo, or dog walk.
NO PERSONAL BARBEQUE BBQ ALLOWED HENCEFORTH (JUNE 2021). NO PUBLIC USE BBQ STAND EITHER. EXTREMLY DISAPPOINTED BY THIS CHANGE. ALL THR PARKS IN OAKVILLE ARE DOING THIS CHANGE
Great park with a splash pad, playground, beach, and sand volleyball court. Finding parking is difficult and you might have to park in nearby streets where there is 3 hour free parking (on the weekends, not sure about weekdays)
Park is great place for everyone. Beach and water play area for kids. Also picnic and bike areas.
Been coming to this park since I was a kid , it's a great place to bring your family for a picnic, my wife an I enjoy coming here to watch the sunrise while drinking a tim hortons coffee.
The park is very friendly and you can park your car without any permit or payment. View of city is unique from here.
Amazing site! Much better than the other parks along the lakeshore.
Nice park , good for kids .
Water is very clear and the park is maintained well. It's just short of restrooms
Beautiful lights but muddy!! Lol. Overall a wonderful park!
Amazing place for whole family must visit and nice Christmas decoration
Christmas lights were so beautifully decorated.
Great place to hang around with kids. Sandy lake and splashpad and playarea nearby.
It was a great day at the park. Great green space and kids playground with splash pad. Fun times all around.
Went for their light display and did not disappoint. Not a very big display and most cars drive through. Worth getting out and walking around it in my opinion.
Slightly over crowded but good to be there when the weather. Is warm
Big, beautiful, well maintained, lots of areas for kids to play in. Splash pad, trails, get close to the water. Ice cream, parking is a bit difficult on a busy long weekend though.
All in one place for kids. They had a lot of fun in splash pads and swings...
The Picnic Area is good. The splash pad is awesome. The beach has Algae but the water is crystal clear..Overall a nice place
Awesome place to hang out. Really beautiful and scenic place.
Beautiful and scenic place for a morning /evening walk or a picnic with family. Well maintained and very peaceful.
Best park for kids! Playground, beach, sand, splash, nature. Everything!
Excellent! Beautiful place
Christmas lights are on!! Go take a look. Something nice in the middle of all the gloom!
Lovely view of the Toronto skyline, magnificent mature trees, flies with shatp teeth!!!
This park is top notch! My kids love the splash and park and the views of lake Ontario are beautiful. The picnic areas and washrooms are clean. Decent amount of parking too. Great for parties or just family outings
Nice place to come with family/friends for walk, swim, great park for kids to play. ????????☺
Great park clean not overly crowded great views
Beautiful place ,very good for day picnic and close to GTA
I really like this place. Rocky beaches with weeping willow and a huge sand pit. The splash pad looks fun but is closed due to COVID 19. Facilities are closed too but look good. Plenty of parking with multiple lots. The stream area is pretty swampy.
Beautiful park with lot of events happening . Terry fox run , oakvillle half marathon . Good place for a family outing or a lonely stroll. Close to calming lake with clear water and not Plastic ????????
Beautiful views, lots of parking spaces, and lots of different places to sit and enjoy the views. Nice walks by the water, a view of Toronto on a clear day, and a lot of spaces for kids and adults to enjoy a sunny day. Generally, there are enough spaces around any time during the day. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit.
Fairly large park, it's a cobblestone beach and not sand. Large waterpark for the kids to enjoy, shade near it for the parents to watch. LOTS of power outlets FYI. Paved and not-so-rough gravel for the strollers if you want to walk the length of the area. Lots of parking but on a busy day, because of its beauty, try to be early.
Pretty waterfront, we like walking there, sometimes the park is not ideally clean, but we still love this place. Important notice: the parking is very busy and you have to look for a free spot for quite a while if you come in popular hours.
I liked. Wonderful place.
Great place for an afternoon. Fantastic splash pad, bathrooms, right on the water with a small beach area
Crazy busy on a beautiful Saturday. Recommend parking at the Colborne Rec Centre and walking over.
Average park, less crowded, Nothing special or noticeable, Peacful, Some stinky and dirty spots.
Great place to enjoy the lake and weather
This is an amazing place in the morning
Great little park on the waterfront. Tons of stuff for kids to play on, a nice trail along the lakeshore for walking, and even a sandy beach. Also some very old huge burled up tree's if you're into that. Lots of parking as well if you don't live in the neighborhood.
A lovely drive thru with generously lighted trees. And if it is clear sky, you could park and do some moon and star gazing across the lake. A great option on your small list of outdoor activities for a covid holiday.
Beautiful park, nice place for families. Can get rather busy during the summer. Also, be prepared for goose poop! However, nice views, and amenities.
It's fine for kids of all ages, playground is split for small and big kids. I'm not a fan of rock beaches but the view is pretty nice. There's usually resident swans there.
Hard to find parking. Lots of people but definitely park with the potential.
Lovely place to spend the day or afternoon with little ones with a park and splash pad
Beautiful spot, plenty of nice spots to walk to the water, and great spot for the dogs to run into the water.
Loved it! Went early in the morning and it was quiet with only a few people around. Doggie enjoyed the walk and a quick splash in the lake. There's a fabulous splash pad too as well as a play area for kids.
AVOID THIS PARK. Security Guards are inconsiderate with first timer visitors. We visited this park on July 27, 2020, and decided to put up a small tent to have my 79 year old mother to rest while enjoying the breeze of air and water. The bylaw security came over and told us we can't put up a tent and gave us a ticket. We said we were unaware of that regulation and was never mentioned anywhere on the website nor in the park. No warning whatsover, we were ticketed for $300. I would never come back to this park as law were never publicly disclosed and it seeemed the security guards were eager to ticket rather than educating and helping the public. Furthermore, washrooms are dirty, water is not advised for swimming, and the grass area have so much bugs that bites.
Not the most awesome park. However, a decent enough place for some family time by the lake. Has a small place for activities for kids. There is parking available.
nice park but the BBQ is not allowed bring ur pizza ????
Brings back memories of my youth - lots of childhood visits to Coronation park. It’s changed a little over the years but still an amazing place to spend time down by the Lake.
Nice clean park and beach. Parking very limited
Ample parking and clean. Waterpark and park amenities cover most tastes and kids love them. No personal bbq allowed is a plus. With or without kids, it's worth the drive from Toronto. Good place to clear your mind.
This is one of my favorite parks by Lake Ontario. And it helps that there's a toilet too. Plenty of free parking. There's some benches you can sit on and look at the lake. I recommend you also bring a foldable chair and sit closer to the water.
Nice beautiful location. The reasons I gave 3 stars were: Too crowded and people do not follow norms/ guidelines. Because of geo location, it has TOO MANY bugs, flies- so I feel there are better choices
Great park to visit with the whole family. On a clear day you have a great view of downtown Toronto. Nice splash pad for the kids and you're never too old to skip stones on the lake!
A great park by lakeshore! The waters had a rocky floor but did allow for people to enter and swim, and also gave an opportunity for skipping rocks. There is a nice waterpark where children can play and the washrooms were well maintained. There is also a playground for kids with swings and a small rock climbing wall. You can set up a tarp beneath a tree and have a picnic or grab one of the many benches. The parking lot has been packed everytime I've visited, but there were still some openings available.
Beautiful, organized and free parking lot.
Very beautiful lakeside Park with walking or biking trails, covers and picnic areas, bigger splash pads for kids, public washroom, ample parking space. Sandy Beach with few area where you can sit on rocks and enjoy the splash of the water. Family friendly, mostly local families you can meet of an on. Since Pendemic BBQ is no longer allowed.
Really good beach area, someone tried to steal my wife's sun hat and our cooler...
Lots of room to enjoy yourself and keep your distance from others. Not enough parking is great right now as it limits the number of people in this park. Altogether a great place to feel the cool wind coming off the lake...dipping your toes in the water too....
The beautiful Lake Ontario is very suitable for family and friends to play and BBQ
Greatt park to our pup
Very peaceful place
Nice park to go picnic, or take a walk or just go sit and read a book. In summers you can take a swim too. The beach is not sandy, it’s got pebbles. The park does tend to get overcrowded during the weekends. Early mornings are probably the best time if you like to avoid crowd.
I love coming here in the summer nights, it's nice and cool I love the water sound and when the moon is full it's absolutely beautiful.
It is always hard to find a parking spot, but otherwise this is still a beautiful park I used to play here as a kid and so its nice to bring my kids here ♡
Great place for the kids with a good water park. It's clean and spacious. If you're planning on doing a picnic, just be aware of wasps. On the weekend you have to get here early to find parking. Otherwise, after lunch, you may have to park in the side streets and walkover.
Nice, large park with a great view of Lake Ontario and across to the Toronto city skyline. Not much algae or smell right now so that was great. There is some trash but overall it is quite clean compared to other spots. Trash is a people problem and not a fault of the space. Garbage cans are out. No picnic tables but we came prepared with a folding table for an easy picnic setup. Perfect opportunity to enjoy the park on a week day afternoon.
Great playground with slide and swings. Restrooms/change rooms are close by the splash pad and beach area. Great picnic table areas as well with gazebo's. Also great for walking/biking.
Great place to barbecue fun for the entire family. Big splash pad ,hours of fun for kids. Big park for hicking biking or just a stroll by the beach.
Beautiful and huge. The rocky beach of gorgeous for photos
Great park near the water. Saw lots of people swimming in the water and also someone operating a watercraft . Parking was not an issue as there were lots of empty spots, but then again, we went on a weekday.
Really nice play ground for kids. And nice area close to lake foe barbecues with family.
Nice park. Beautiful view of the water and tons of rocks for skipping. Some benches and a large canopy near where we stopped.
A very large park with many different areas and multiple parking lots. We did not know we had to register for the barbecue prior to using it, but we were allowed to use it because no one else had booked it. I suggest booking it in advance to ensure you have that spot available when you get there. But overall beautiful Lakeview and park space for children. Plus dog friendly.
Beautiful peaceful place. Great for picnics with family and friends. Or to relax and enjoy the nature.
Nice Beach court. Need more parking space
Very clean and beautiful place for picnic with friends and family. Kids will absolutely love this place. It has a big splash pad and kids park too. One side is vast blue Lake Ontario and the other side its stretches of green meadows.
Great view and environment. But it's so crowdie and busy. Due to the situation of covid 19, don't recommend anyone to go during weekend.
Fantastic playground and splashpad. Beautifully maintained
Great park for kids and adults in a very upscale neighbourhood.
Good park with lake side view, playground and sash pad with walking path/ trail and lots of free parking
Lovely. But parking space is too small. Water showers for kids.
Another gem on the string of lakeshore beach parks along Lake Ontario. Beach, green spaces, amazing old trees, splash pad, lots of parking. Enjoyed my trip!
Beautiful place for kids. Lots to do between splash pad, playground and lake.
Excellent park. Lots of areas and amenities for kids to play, from playgrounds to splashpads to big open fields plus walking and biking paths and trails. An excellent recommendation for family picnics.
The splash area and playground are quite large. Parking can be very tough to find during peak hours on the weekend. We had people arguing over our spot when we left. The volleyball nets were in good condition but there are no lines. It's a very busy park but we still found space to throw around a frisbee.
A beautiful park with ample parking, lush greenery, and a wonderful children’s playground.
Lovely little park. Thought it was kinda stupid that they closed the picnic area due to covid but kept the splash pad and kids park open.
Amazing place with family. They have two parking place. One bigger and the other is small near the lake. Restrooms were alright so a real fun place with family.
Nice place - very clean. Has playground and a splash pad
Beautiful park for family outings. You may barbecue, children can play, facility to play volleyball and last but not least, beautiful trail for a walk along lake.
Good clean scenic park.
This park is not following social distancing prodigals. The splash pads are filled with people during this pandemic and mostly filled with adults instead of children. The bbq signs are not visible around the park. By mistake my family and I went to this park and had a bbq. We checked online, looked for signs but we did not find any bold visible signs. This park is way to crowded. Other than that the park is beautiful, but that is just my concern.
Park was amazingly beautiful. But the 4 star is due to insects.
Good place for picnic, peble beach, can enjoy beach side swimming, spash pads for kids, washroom facilities. Very clean place. 215 car parking capacity. Charcoal barbecue not permitted. your vehicle on parking spot only otherwise 100$ fine and highly patrolling by law enforcement municipal officers.
Beautiful but way too crowded!
Gorgeous location with a nice view sometimes there's quite a bit of people walking or they like to host running events here so parking can be difficult.
Great park along the lake. There is quite a fair amount of parking available which isn't always the case. Park has a playground, splash pad, beach, washrooms, picnic tables and shelter, and lots of green space to have a chill. There is also a little stream that flows to the lake.
Lovely place! I go there to just sit and chill and enjoy the sounds of the waves!
Great park for family functions and gatherings. It's large, on the water, and has a lot of green space.
Great park and beach, although a ton of black flies which sting you, insect repellent is a must!
Water park for kids, slides, swings and an ok beach to relax. There is not enough parking though, so arrive sooner to be able to park.
Very nice park. Enjoyed the lake with cooooooooold weather. But is was fun.
Wonderful park:) Been many times with friends and family. One of the best places in Oakville:)
Nice park to go for a walk or sit by the water.
Great for picnics and BBQs.. good for family outings..
Nice place for family gatherings....
Nice park for picnic
Great place for family and friends, ample parking and washrooms available
Beautiful park but very busy...
It's all right not a big fan of this park nothing special just park look at the lake that's it simple and boring
Finding parking is like arm wrestling with body builders. There are places for barbecue and a nice walk by the lake and some space to play 3v3 football
The Christmas lights display is nothing short of extraordinary…it’s a MUST SEE. Well done Oakville!
Great place to view lake Ontario. Ample parking. Nice pathway to walk and a small play area for kids
Nice park. Just one comment not only for this park. Why all parks are missing night lighting ? No lights installed in walkways or main areas. Just some small posts barely light the area around them !
very beautiful, nice relaxing atmosphere, good on sunny days without too much wind, pretty trees, nice trail, fun playground for kids, little creeks nearby. great place to visit.
This place has a bit of everything. Trails; beach (both sandy and rocky); little creek with ducks, geese, and sometimes even a swan; playground; picnic area; big trees and huge trees (now decorated with Christmas lights). Today is a windy day and I was surprised to see how big the waves get.
Great park right on Lakeshore Oakville. Plenty of things to do for the whole family. Big playground, splash pad, beach volleyball courts, barbecue and picnic areas, trails and lots of parking!
Great place for walking along the lake, unfortunately a rocky beach, the kids playground is neat & there's a large splash pad, sandy volleyball courts, nice picnic areas & washrooms. Very busy on the summer weekends!
I love that this place located near the beach. Fantastic views and beautiful nature.
the beach is not very clean right now ,the kids splash area is fun to play!
Beautiful and big park with clean lakeshore. Some areas have sand and some have pebbles. Large splash pad and nice play area for kids. 2 parking lots, but finding parking could be troublesome on a nice sunny day.
What a little gem of a park. It's got a great lake view, a beach full of skipping stones, a little water play area, changing facilities, areas for families to eat together. Even a place to put jet-skis in the water. It's a great place to appreciate being outdoors on a nice day.
We love this park, so many things to do. Kids play area, walking and biking trails, beach volleyball, picnic area, splash pad and beautiful beach, not much sand but looks very nice.
Huge space and large play area for kids. Really nicely kept. Can get busy on nicer days!
Lovely Water front park with many activities for all ages
Good picnic spot . Good please for small kids to enjoy splash pads, but limited shades available.
Awesome Christmas and New year lighting
Probably the most popular park after Bronte with clear views of the lake. Lots of flowers, pathways and grassy areas make it popular for picnics.
Nice park and waterfront. Splash pad and swings are also good. I guess the only annoying part is duck poop everywhere on the grass.
So, Google maps keeps asking me for a review of Coronation park. This is my chill and relax place. I'm not going to tell you how nice it is, or say anything that's makes this place so great. What I will say is that I've trained the Canadian geese to chase you and peck you if you ruin my place to chill. Nicest place in Oakville.
lots to see and do ~ both for kids and adults well maintained beach and play area a really nice park
Amazing sunrise view
Beautiful park by the lake. Very well maintained. It has a lot of picinic tables and benches. There is a splash pad and playground. There is some construction going on and the walking path was fenced off, unfortunately, so it wasn’t as long. Very nice place to have a picnic right by th water. Great waves also, waters looks beautiful on a sunny day.
Great place for picnic and enjoying.
Beautiful park, but the shoreline got chewed up due to a recent storm. They do a good job of repairing and rebuilding the shoreline, but it often takes several months. (happened a, couple years ago also)
Beautiful
Was pretty busy but would good there again
Very good and big park with waterfront. Beach wad smaller through and stoney... Parking is free and tends to fill up quickly on the weekend
Centrally located on Lakeshore Rd. W., adjacent to the lake. A pleasant park to walk in, listening to calming water sounds as the path meanders along the shoreline. Lots of parking throughout the park via its several entrances.
Was finally able to walk waterfront trail. Dog and I enjoyed it.
Good Team , All teacher are very cooperative and teaching friendly .Specially karnal Tariq teach very well Thanks ????
Great beach with clean water. Kids play area is really very big and splash pad is also good
Right now a very nice Christmas display of lights❤
Except for the flies, this is one lovely place to come out and relax with family especially with children.
Though i lived here almost 6 years. This is the first year that i discovered this park. Its ahmazing. And thats just to say the least of it. The lake beach, the playground and the splash pad. Let's not forget the beautiful light display on new years. All so magical.
Clean park. If you want to secure parking spot then come early in weekend. Water is not clean to swim. But for kids, it has good amount of splashes. Good spot for picnic. Have picnic tables. Washrooms available. Read that no barbeque or open fire allowed.
Good view to the lake, but very small. Really crowded these days.
Very nice park, we spent a couple of hours walking, water was so clear that we could not help but walk in it. It has a nice stone covered area, kids like to go there to throw stone in the water. Lots of parking, and shaded areas.
Ideal for a stroll, well maintained, lovely views of the lake ,has a very nice splash pad for kids
Beautiful park! Nice for the whole family. Beautiful photo ops. splash is very entertaining for the kids. Washrooms are open and available
A nice park by the lake. Lots of fresh fallen leaves, and quiet during this time of year.
Lots of walking trails and nice beach area.Playground for children.
I love coming here, though it can get very crowded at times. Overall, a nice spot to come with friends, family or a solo trip. Sunsets and sunrises are beautiful here
Though the beach is not sandy, it's pretty good. The park has ample space to accommodate lot of people. Though there are lot of free parking available, it's difficult to find especially during the weekend on a sunny day.
Nice and quiete park. With fascinant amphitheater, very well projected. With splash and part of park not in use because of lake water level. With 2 areas of playground working well.
Nice park. Splash pad was pretty busy and most people weren't really social distancing. Bylaw is there to stop people from grilling and groups smaller than 10.
Beautiful park by the water in Oakville, extremely well maintained.
Lovely lake views
Great park right beside lake Ontario to visit. Lots of space to spread out and ample parking if you're driving. The splash pad and playground are top notch if you have younger kids.
Good for family to spend summer time with clean beach water & few other activities-
I live this place and I'd go all the time if I lived closer, but I go as much as I can. It's a great family picnic, waterplay park to really spend plenty of fun/ relaxing times at.
Awesome stone beach, gorgeous at night
Nice park at the beach-On Saturday,June 5,2021
Nice scenery and it wide beach like sea, highly recommend!
Very nice park. Located right on the Lakeshore road. And it has a beach ????????????
Nice place. Good spot for family get together
Another great park for walks around oakville.
Very nice place to spend day with family. Kids enjoy splash pad. Nice view of lake. Trail is ok but could be better maintained. Sand pit is fun for kids as well. Parking is limited but i guess park gets busy after 10:30 am.
Great place for a walk.. this place is lively with people.. View is Toronto skyline is the catch! Water isn't good.. but the park is great!
Nice park, with Splash Pad and kids play qrea
Nice park with many facilities such as a playground, volleyball pit, washrooms, etc. Plenty of parking spots and great for family bbq picnics.
One of Oakville's loveliest parks. Unfortunately, the park has been barricaded off all summer due to 'unsafe' water levels. Potential liability risks from those lacking common sense have resulted in the town barring entry to this gem of a park.
Have visited this place so many times.. kids enjoy thoroughly.. it's a huge place.. it's a must visit during summers.. kids can enjoy the whole day there with all activities like play in beach, sand area, swing area.. toilets are just okay.. not managed well.. but something is better than nothing
Splash Pad and park great for the grand children
Beautiful spot. Nice rock beach.
A great escape from the busy lives you get stuck into. A great place to gather with friends and family, walk, bike ride, or just sit, relax and enjoy a picnic and some amazing company, what more could you ask for
The park itself is big and has old trees and enough parking space but people leave trashes every where and we had to cleanup after them .I didn't enjoy it ????
This place is perfect for morning walk????
Washrooms are only seasonal along with parking. Nice kids splash pad and great playground. Lots of picnic areas. The beach is rock! Some volleyball courts.
Nice but a lot of bugs though.
Please note that absolutely NO BBQ, table top cooking, charcoal, propane or any kind of stove is allowed in the Coronation Park, Oakville. There has been a fire ban and kind of nice to see this park back to its glory rather than a cooking and eating frenzy and not to mention the park being destroyed by hot ashes dumped all over green landscape or setting the grass on fire with garbage scattered. If you would like to do BBQ then you may have option of booking one out of 3 or 4 BBQ pits provided under a paid permit issued by the town. Please book well in advance because no other place in this park is allowed for free BBQ. Parking is limited but ample for usual park patrons. If you would like to do free BBQ then you may have to go to Bronte Provincial Park or go to Burlington parks. I have been using this park since last 15 years and I love it.
Very relaxing clean. Not crowded at all.
Beautiful water views. People drive the wrong way. Don't they know it's one way traffic. Cleary marked. Dangerous behavior with so many young children in the park. Ticket worthy!
It's a wonderful place, beautiful view on the lake, nice for family picnics and group gatherings. There's water park and slides for the kids and built-in net for ball games of adults. Public washrooms is also available which is good. I just loved this place.
This used to be one of my favorite park to go to.But for the last two years, walking trail is not available due to ever going construction. All area around is fenced. Kids were looking for a splash pad but it was not on.
It's a good place to take your kids
Good for kids lot of activities
Awesome!! Another level of serene experience!!
Beautiful scenery..washrooms available! Lots of parking which is a bonus ! Good place for the family
Large play structures with something to keep the interest of a wide variety of ages. The beach nearby is an added bonus. Beautiful old trees and plenty of parking.
A nice open, clean park on lakeshore in Oakville, overlooking Lake Ontario. Two parking lots and a good long walking trail along lake. Be careful going close to water as you have to step over many stones. beware of ticks when you sit on the grass. Fountain is there where kids can enjoy. Overall highly recommend.
Great for family, picnics, and there's a splash pad...getting a parking spot might be difficult though, especially on weekends.
Beautiful park, great area, clean amenities
The playground is much smaller than I thought. The Picnic areas are also much smaller than I thought. If it says it that will hold 100, it actually fits half that. The view is very beautiful. You are right by the water. There is a lot of open green space. It seems to be quieter park.
Beautiful quiet location by the Lake. Kids love it. The colours at dusk are exceptional.
Beautiful park on lakeshore with plenty of space
Kids enjoyed the water castle very much. They thought the play equipment was so so and really enjoyed tossing rocks into the lake.
Lovely park. The view of the lake is beautiful, really nice for family picnics and group gatherings. Highly recommend this place.
One of the busiest water front park in the area. nice play area for all age groups and a unique castle themed splash pad are great to keep kids busy. Lots of picnic tables but in pre-covid times this place used to be crowded to overflowing level. Great if you come early to grab a table, bench or spot on the grass and don't mind the bustle. If you want quiter outdoors go further west.
It's a place to take your family and kids. It has a nice playground for kids, jogging track and small beach
Great park. Large open space with a playground, waterpark and waterfront. Great place to have a picnic or just hangout with family and friends.
Take a stroll along the lake in Burlington....beautiful views of Lake Ontario. Good for short walks and has children's playground.
The trail is great for walking and biking. Tge splash oad is a big hit with the kids. There is plenty of space for a picnic.
Great park nice facilities. Recent flooding has made parts inaccessible but still lots of nice areas to explore
Nice view of Mississauga and Toronto skylines. Really cool looking pebble/stone shorefront/beach. Nice place for a walk, picnic and there is also a bandshell. Check it out!
Coronation park is a nice place to go out for picnic and relaxation and outdoor activities. Some areas of the shore get muddy and smelly water . But this park has lots of other things to intertans the kids, and their parents. yes it is a nice place to visit.
Great family park. Great view. Lots to do for toddlers.
The park is really good. Its a nice place to spend and enjoy time with family and friends
Lovely park on lakeshore! You're hitting multiple birds with one stone as there is a beach, splash pad and an actual playground with swing sets and all that. Great for barbecuing with friends. Your kids will love this.
Very well kept area. We used the shelter for our little get-together
My little one loves this park as they have everything, separate area for kids to play with sand, splash pad and then swings slides and all the other fun stuff. Not recommended on weekends as its very difficult to find parking.
Great place, public washrooms and lovely view
Serenity is one word to describe the park. An amazing place to spend an evening with the kids.
This is a decent park to have a picnic or walk about the lake. Be weary of some blocked off paths due to construction in some places. P.S. Actually came here to play beach volleyball because saw some old pics of volleyball courts but the courts do not exist anymore.
Kids enjoyed this place. Water park was a welcoming thing on the hot days. Plus having a playground and having a area to eat is a plus.
It's definitely your destination if you're interested in outdoor activities
This park is great for families and young kids. They have waterpark for the kids to enjoy and a park for all ages. You can bring your own bbq stuff with you, chairs, coolers, etc. There are very few benches around the park so it might be hard to find one. Lots of parking and its free. A great sitting area to the lake, but there are lots of soft rocks and pebbles, but its fine if you wear your footwear. They have public washrooms as well. They also got ice cream station and soft drinks to cool off on those hot days. About 10 min drive will get you to restaurants area of downtown Oakville.
Excellent park in oakville. There is some construction going around but the splash pad and main beach was open for the visitors. Bring your own BBQ and enjoy it with your family.
Nice big park great for a beautiful walk along the lake. Unfortunately terribly busy on weekends. Not enough benches. However, lots of garbage cans but still people leave their garbage all over the place, sometimes even whole bags full, which spoils it.
The playground has a climbing wall and other unique aspects. Right by the lake. Perfect for the whole fam
Wonderful place and have a water play area to kids, and nice pleasent .
Been here 3 times in the summer with my family. Very peaceful family oriented place. Totally loved it. The tide was not high the first 2 times, so we could swim. The 3rd time was very high. The kids still enjoyed the Waterpark and the park. Love it!
Beautiful waterfront park. Complete with children's play area and a small beach area
I went for a picnic today! Well Coronation Park has changed so much since my last visit! How wonderful to see children enjoying the park not stuck behind a cell phone or tablet! The laughter and enjoying old fashion fun! Great picnic areas! We had a Pot Luck with a group of Photographers on Facebook! Nice to put faces to names!
Calm and clean area with BBQ facilities and water entertainments for kids. Nice stone beach.
Normally this park is a 5 ⭐️ but the fencing and construction restricts access to the beautiful waterfront! Look forward to it being finished.
Good place to enjoy time with family. It was bit crowded, difficult to get parking during rush hour. Lots of mosquitoes, you have wear mask otherwise they will enter your mouth
A beautiful park. Well taken care of. Great views of the lake. Interesting views of Missisauga and Toronto to the east, they look like they are sitting right in the water. Stony beach though. Worth a visit! ????
a quiet and nice little waterside park for family hours.
Beautiful park located on Lake Ontario just off of lakeshore road. They have a playground, access to Lake Ontario and nice and clean bathroom facilities. They also have plenty of free parking available.
Discovered this place two days ago. Beautiful place only wish they had washrooms open since they kept the place open during COVID19.
Coronation park is the truly the family park in Oakville, beach, walkway, playground, water splash, beach volley, etc... What else could be missing for a park, honestly, can't think of any other than designating an area for fishing.
So tranquil and clam! Beautiful view of Lake Ontario and amazing rich blue colour from any angle! Mostly rocky....we saw the most amazing Toronto skyline and sunset while kids get to play in the gentle waters....absolutely stunning to sit …
Always a great place to walk around and enjoy the water.....be safe tho....social distance, wear a mask????
The fire department did an excellent job on their toy drive in the park and it was decorated beautifully. Even had Santa Claus.
Of course with the lock down, then last minute splash pad opening, there were not enough parking spots. Parking officers were going to town collecting money from every car that was not parked at an official spot even if it was not blocking anyone else. POs should be leashed and muzzled on days like this!
It's a great park. There's a play structure for the little ones and one for the older ones, little rock climbing things for kids, a splash pad, picnic tables, a beach for skipping stones, a pond to see ducks in and lots of grassy areas and beautiful trees. The problem is all the goose poop. It's impossible to take a step in any direction without stepping on a ton of it. I've never seen an area that saturated with poop. It makes the grass unusable. It would be an amazing park otherwise.
Peaceful, natural, clean, beautiful. Nice place for couple, family or just to be alone
Beautiful park, waterfront viewa, great playground and a large parking lot. Unfortunately during the winter like today when the weather is gorgeous, all the bathrooms are locked and the parking lot is cut down to 30 spots or so. Basically a mess!
Nice beautiful park for the family with kids not too far from Toronto. Clean small beach and playground for kids and good splash pad.Free parking as well
Excellent place for a day out with family and kids. Lots of shade, it's near the water.. calm on one side. They have got kids play area and splash pads which makes it a good place to hangout with kids. Picnic and barbeque makes it for good outdoor gathering. A much needed one during lockdown. Good parking spaces available...but reach out there early to get a spot. Carry extra clothes for kids bcz its difficult to keep them off from splash pad.
My kids and I absolutely love this park!!
Best park in the area! Has everything that family needs to spend good time with kids!
Very nice picnic spot with lush green lawns and big mature trees on Lake Ontario shore! Ample parking and peaceful experience waling on the trail with unobstructed lake views. Beware of mosquitoes ????
Nice open spaces. Clean washrooms...
Awesome place. Loved it. Must visit once..
Great location! Kids water park available, picnic areas, beautiful nature and beachy areas. The only thing is bring your own water shoes due to rocky beach. Otherwise a pleasure to be there!!
My family and I love this playground/beach park! Definately a place to spend the entire day and get the kids tired ????
Very nice park, beautiful views of the lake
Really calming and a beautiful place to visit
Great place for kids and a walk along the lake. Nice picnic areas.
Very quiet and peaceful. No BBQ allowed, it's good for couples trying to have some quite time.
Recently I bought my runners was totally the wrong recommendation! Model Hurricane my knees start hurt each time I ran ! Very disappointed with the shoes plus it heats up the feet to a point it’s very uncomfortable. I been told I can’t return them if I trued them outdoors . Me and my family a customers . Unfortunately I want be shopping there anymore I definitely don’t recommend this model Hurricane
Fun place to take kids to play!
The park is clean and charming. It has a stream that goes to the lake. It has a wooden fence and a cute little bridge. There is a playground and ample parking. The shore has river rocks. I'm not sure if the shore is naturally rocky. Probably not. There is a big puddle on the west side of the park where some ducks swim.
Beautiful lights. Look forward to coming here for some skating.
Very busy couldn't find parking lont and left, lots of people are coming from peel and Toronto and making it crowded here
Always a pleasurable day for the kids, but parking is limited
Nice lake side park, plenty of parking, walking trail, kids splash pads, washrooms- nice view of downtown Toronto.
Very peaceful and quiet. Clean and the splash pad was super fun for the little ones.
Excellent place to enjoy with family. You can have your picnics here right next to Lake Ontario. Clean pebbled beach, reasonable washrooms, kids park, lots of natural shades. Built in barbq grills, picnic areas with seats
