Our string duo recently performed a wedding ceremony at the gazebo, and had a wonderful time. the location is easy to get to, spacious, the view of the harbour is nice and seems open and intimate at the same time. This would be suitable for wedding ceremonies with up to 200 guests.

Amazing place. The lake, port, dock, island, river are beautiful. I was there for Mid Autumn festival. unforgettable memory of music, dance and moon hanging on the sky and refection of lights over the quiet surface of lake. It might be an ideal place to make an epic dance and music show called "Impression of Ontario", just as the one done in Hangzhou after G20 last month.

While the city of Oakville is doing it's best to turn this community into a west end version of North York, there seems to be a few people left around that appreciate the sleepy, relaxed feel of the area. Come see it before it's overrun with new developments.

Used to live around here but came back recently for the Fall salmon run. Just missed it but it was nice seeing the many changes since we lived here. Much more upscale and refined now, and appeared to be a popular 'go to' place for visitors. I got a few questions about why all the dead salmon (it's their natural lifecycle), but just sitting around and seeing the boats come and go was a great way to pass a few hours.

Great for a family break. Thursdays during summer from 7:30 to sunset enjoy free concerts! Just bring your folding chairs, arrive early and go for a stroll along the beach or pick a coffee before the concert starts. Evenings in August by the beach can get a little coooool, a windbreaker or light jacket would be good to keep in the car. Also, parking is now paid, so do put that ticket on the front dash! (It is a good money maker for the city so they patrol quite regularly especially during peak times).
