Not sure, if we went at the wrong time (we reached there at around 9pm). The place looked secluded near the park and we could hear loud howls, which concerned us. The cars at the parking lot were parked with headlights on and no signs of people nearby creeped us a bit. Maybe it's just a good place at a wrong time (correct me if I am wrong) the experience was kind of scary. But yes, the water in the lake was pleasant and soothing to our eyes.

Nice place :) There is parking next to the beach, but make sure to park on the spots designated for public parking, other spots might get you ticket. There is a small trail which runs by the lake, you need to take the stairs and there are few place along the trail where you can get down , sit next to the water.

Only good for setting. * Not good for swimming. A lot of slippery ROCKS inside the water. * ok for outdoor hang out and setting with friends. 2 star is fare.

Really beautiful park! Great place to walk and hang with friends. Pretty busy with people though so if you are planning on maintaining good social distance, might not be a great place to go. Most the trails are not very wide.

This area is a Hidden Gem in Oakville. In addition to the Scenic Harbor, there is actually a Sandy Beach! I had an art show at Sovereign house, and when visiting there and enjoying the history of the house, I learned that the author of "The White Oaks of Jalna" lived here at some point and the people of Oakville played a role in her writings. It is a beautiful neighborhood and enjoyable to just walk around and look at the pretty Homes and Gardens as well as the parks surrounding the house, which overlooks the harbor and Beach. Here's a little tip: you can park for free by Sovereign house and then hike down a path to the beach if you don't want to pay for parking that's close by the beach.

Nice hidden spots to explore, relatively small, great for a day on the beach for families, fun picnic with friends or couples or a stroll near the water. Has a decent sandy beach. Not much to eat or drink there so bring stuff with you:)

Great place to take in the scenery and just relax in the sun or sit under a tree in the shade. I have lived in Oakville for my whole life and the bluffs is one place that always puts me in s relaxing mood. Good place for the whole family and or cast a fishing rod with a friend, or even to skip a few rocks. ????????????????

100%natural, small yet beautiful scene of the lake and skyline to the west. Not much parking, but it's well known so it doesn't need any more spaces. I always forget to take a photo !

Stunning views of the lake and the summer trail makes you feel your in an old story book! It's not very long, ideal for a short evening walk. There are many other parks nearby so you can check them all out.
