I love the Bronte Beach Park, the people, the nature, the time that I spend there. Every morning, very early, I bike down to the bronte marina and beach park. I sit down, read a book, listen to the sounds around me. This park is full of recreation, fun, but also peacefulness.

Beautiful place to relax with friends or loved ones. Wasn't crowded at all and people respected social distancing rules. Not much to do except walk along the shores and soak in the fresh breeze and the soothing sound of waves.

Nice place :) There is parking next to the beach, but make sure to park on the spots designated for public parking, other spots might get you ticket. Can be a bit crowded on the weekends afternoon. Shallow water, might not be best suited to swimming..saw a lot of people with kayaks..if you walk towards the harbor side you can find deeper water suitable for a dip !

This place is in disarray. Water is awful and dirty. It smells. The beach is dirty. There is no maintenance or effort to up keep this beach at all. There is not enough parking at all for the public. They cater to boat owners. By-law officers roam this area relentlessly.

A small but pleasant beach and interesting marina with trailered boat access and trailer parking (for a fee). Go up the stairs from the lower parking lot for a short stroll along the bluff - the aged Black Walnut trees are magnificent. Canoes and Kayaks can be launched from dock 110 beside the parking lot. Bronte Marsh is just moments away. Bathrooms onsite.

Since there is no playground, that makes it less child friendly. Few spots for public parking. Most parking are reserved for harbour users or boat hauling trailers. What made the beach cool are the passing boats that causes small waves to the shore.

Calling it a beach is generous. We found it dirty (tons of geese), not very well maintained, and not much area to spread out or to have any privacy. If you're desperate for sand and water, then yeah, go for it.

It is a very nice place to go in the summer time just because it’s pretty secluded but the smell can sometimes be bad not always sometimes you never notice it but sometimes it is just awful I give it three stars just because there are a lot of dead geese like Canada geese there’s a little sandbar about 75 m out or so a lot of ducks and geese congregate but if you go for a run in the summertime you will not find more cold refreshing water then at that little beach and there’s a pure right there a pretty nasty looking brown one that is closed off by like a metre tall gate that you could hop over if you were six years old warning if you were caught jumping off the pier it is a $300 fine but it is quite fun to do and very often you will see people barbecuing illegally there but more often than not no one is there

terrible beach. its full of algae, wood, sharp seashells and rocks. it hurt to stand up in the water because of sharp objects and logs. At a certain point, large mossy rocks begin piling up in the middle of the beach where people can climb on and stand, making the water shallow, but it is a huge slipping hazard. only fun thing was pathetic tire swing that was located in an area piled up with rocks that you could slip on and full of sharp objects. i also found glass there. children ended up leaving with around 3 splinters in each foot. thanks a lot Bronte Beach >:(

There is a small bay semidivided by a small island from the lake. The bay was very very dirty and smells. If you have paddle boat or sup board, this is a good place to launch. You can quickly paddle into the lake which has beautiful water and great view.

Crazy in find a parking spot!! I mean it is crazy because city make so. All parking spots inside the park are marked marine pass only, not just those in the boating area, but ALL of them. As as Sunday July 18, afternoon, I saw about 30% parking spots are vacant, because of the requirement of the pass, and tons of tons of cars just circle around and looking for a spot and many choose to just park there to get a ticket or leave an adult in the car so avoid get a ticket. Parking enforcement is right there make up nonsense to tell people find other parking place where the empty spot is right there. I understand there should be a fee or permit if parking is scarse resource, but having a pass is not right solution. It is just a poorly managed, poorly designed way to utilize public space.

Very few parking spots for public and rest are reserved for Harbour permit holders. Gets crowded on weekend, recommend to arrive early in the day. Small and well maintained sandy beach. Water quality is not that good in comparison to other beaches in the area. Would recommend to go coronation beach which is not far and offers lot more for all age groups

Ok experience. Very rocky. Got a parking ticket so make sure you are in the designated spot in the lot for public and not Harbour memeber parking. Lots of ducks and swans to look at. Festive I was swimming in the harbour. Lots of lakewood and scum floating near the shoreline. Smelled rotten in some spots due to partially stagnating water. I would try to find a spot further from the Oakville Marina.

I've been living in Oakville for a little over a decade and I actually never visited the beach but today I wanted to go fishing and I found the beach. Nice little place with plenty of spots to lounge in the sand however, I was not allowed to fish near there. Not sure about how the water is but it looked clear with many people swimming. I'll probably just visit to walk around over there again.

Recently launched my SeaDoo there, the launch and wood docks are in great shape, the use of fender bumpers is recommended for your boat or PWC as they are a little high but no issueswith my Spark Trixx. Decent amount of parking $20 for all day. No Overnight parking. Great area, great experience, I will be going back!

The beach as such is not wide enough like other nearby ones. Very narrow and was little crowded during our visit. But the park area is little bigger for families to gather. Parking is the big problem, as it is very limited in the lot and no street parking anywhere around. Finally we parked inside the main entrance and had to walk a long distance.

There isn't much to this place. A tiny beach and goose infested small grassy area. The new launch ramp in 2019 is an improvement, but parking for vehicles with trailers is a major issue. The price per launch is also the most costly I know of on Lake Ontario.

This beach is small, but so cute and clean, I like that the water is shallow, I do not worry for kids when they approach the water. We love to take sandals off and just walk 1 inch into the water to refresh and recharge. Pictures turn out well in this place too.

Unfortunately, nothing pleasant here. Parking is a nightmare. Good luck. Water reeked like sewage water. Absolutely not a place to swim. Rocks covered in slime and bird droppings. This is at best a marina for boats.

It's a nice beach with free parking. Just have to come earlier especially on a sunny weekend. We ended up parking in the residential area, which is probably a 12-15 minute walk from the beach. The beach is clean and the view is relaxing. Perfect for a chill summer afternoon. It is also close enough to the shops so you can get ice cream while enjoying the beach!

Parking is very tight, especially if it's a nice day and people are out on their boats. Parking enforcement is out regularly throughout the day, so be sure to park only where you are allowed to, (ensure that you don't need a pass for your spot). Be mindful of the water as well. While a nice spot, after a significant rainfall the water becomes murky and full of bacteria.

The beach is nice and small and not too many people! The only thing that isn’t really the greatest is the parking. They have free parking but only like 10-15 spots and they fill up quick. So make sure you get there early! The trail is nice too, doesn’t go far but it’s nice.

This place took me by surprise. I stopped in with my daughter to look for a fishing spot one evening and got more than we'd hoped for. A beautiful sandy beach in a protected cove that cannot really be seen from the street, I need to come swimming here! We found a spot on the rocks where the boats go out to the lake and were treated to an outdoor concert across the water while folks paddled and sailed their way past us. Excellent spot for the family!

Off season, it's an amazing place to sit in the beach and watch the sun rise or the moon rise. The rebuilt boat ramp makes trailer load/unload easy. The seasonal washrooms are clean and well maintained. Parking is tight and scarce during popular seasonal weekends. But there are overflow lots near by.

The beach is fairly small, a little rocky and merky. People were socially distanced and respectful. Kids were able to splash around but we weren't able to go swimming. The beach was clean, had a great view and ample shade in the late afternoon. I would probably only go back for a picnic.

This is my experience. Launch line real long. Payed to launch boat and go to park. While waiting to launch single cars had filled all truck trailer parking. Go to lot across street to park. NO spot available. Go back to nearest lot and talked with older city/parks worker and he move a trailer to achieve a place to park. Go boating for day and return. Walk to my truck to fined bylaw ticketing my truck. I explained to him that I was told to park in this place. All spots had been filled by cars and parks worker had parked me there. He said yes he knows this and laughs and walks away. So he had talked with parks person chose to ticket me anyway. Tickets worth 60.00 dollars. For this reason the city of Oakville will never see my money again. Hamilton Bay front park is way better and have never had issues I had in Oakville. Will avoid Oakville city limits like a plague

One of my best parks in Oakville. it combines both the spirit of the downtown Oakville atmosphere, the lake effect, the marina spirit, and openness of space. It's not very enjoyable for kids due to lack of playground. If a playground is added somewhere, it might make even more popular. The pier isn't very safe for and since fishing isn't allowed anyway on the east side pier, having a little fence might help add a bit of safety.
