Wonderful place to birdwatch although we were disappointed there were no bird hides, like you would get at Stodmarsh Lakes. We were also annoyed about the lack of litter bins and we couldn't find a car park anywhere. Victoria my wife suffers from terrible back pains so leaving the car by the side of the road was not ideal. Other than the poor facilities, the amount of varying bird types kept us both entertained and we managed to spot a Rufous-capped Warbler, which delighted my wife.

Wtf one of the reviews above has to be fake. No car park or facilities? This place is in BFE, you're must've been in the wrong place if you had to look for a car park to begin with.

Reply to william jones if he is still with us, who do you think is going to empty the litter bins you ask for? Its in the middle of nowhere. Take your litter home FFS. As for your wifes bad back, perhaps you should plan other outings .
