Nice park, paved, flat walk along the water. Nice playground for the kids to play. The only downfall to this park is that it stinks horribly on a regular basis. Not always but at least 50% of the time. Our kids know it as the smelly park.

It's got a lovely view, but peak hours can be very crowded. Also, walking down the path in front of people's homes can be a tad uncomfortable so if that seems odd just stick to the main part of the park.

Very nice park on the Bedford basin. One of the few remaining parks in HRM which is on the waterfront. It is very popular with local families and has a kids playground area for then younger crowd. I didn't give 5 stars because it is somewhat crowded and fairly noisy. UT if you have small ones, they will.love it there.

It is a very beautiful park on the lake, but unfortunately it's too busy and some people over there are smoking despite being in a crowded area which many children are over there. The playground is too busy, some of parents are not taking care of their kids while playing by leaving them all the time in playground that makes too difficult for other families kids to play, because the number of games and facilities are limited and if kids don't take turns then just few of them would be able to play and others won't. I have seen some families over there left their garbage behind while the trash cans are just few meters away from them. I wish people could have taken care of this beautiful place in order to everyone can go there and have nice time in a fresh air with their families. Sharing and taking turns on seats and chairs are nice things if you do practice it. It is gonna be a part of your polite manner please don't stay on a place all the time while there are other families walking around looking for a place to have a rest and seat on it. When you don't need a space try to let others have it, or don't occupy all the seats around while you may not need it . Don't forget that sharing is caring. Thank you,

This is a nice park where you can walk along Bedford's waterfront and watch the sun rise or at any time of day. There are open areas for picnics and children to run and play and you can see different types of birds. It's also a great area for dog walkers. It is flat and even and well maintained so it's great for all ages.

Really cute spot for a family walk and the kid's playground is great. Typically I'm nervous with some of the equipment but everything was safe, toddler to school age appropriate, and even has adult exercise equipment if you're bored. Beware it can get very chilly with the mind so dress and pack accordingly!

Excellent park - my favorite in Bedford! There are a good number of benches to sit at and enjoy the beautiful view of the Bedford Basin and you can often see a variety of sea birds. The park is large and often busy, but never feels over full. An all around perfect place to walk any time of the year or just go and sit and have a picnic!

Met many lovely people who we enjoyed talking to. Loved being able to walk our dog here and met many others doing the same. Also enjoyed reading the historic plaques set up. Wonderful tribute to Canada's war efforts.

Great place for lots of family fun. Walking along the Bedford Basin, playing on the lawn area, a great new Pirate Ship themed playground with the rubberized material on the ground making it more accessible than pebble style surfaces. Walking out the pier to see people fishing or trying it yourself is always fun too. There are also some great exercise machines by the playground. Public washrooms are typically clean and well cared for and the is lots of parking by the park, along t road and across the street.

A busy place that is best visited at night for quiet walks. I wouldn't exactly call it a park, more of a waterfront type of place with a playground and picnic tables. In my dictionary, a park is similar to Point Pleasant with lots of trails and trees. There are also lots of people fishing all summer.

This park has everything a public place has to give. Good views oceanic basin front clean and green. Has drinking water and convenience there. Playground and rides for kids. We usually go there for to enjoy home cooked brunch. Has two parking lots and roadside parking.

A nice local public park on the shoreline of Bedford Basin. No swimming area, but ample room for a quiet and relaxing day, or a pleasant stroll down a well maintained boardwalk. Washroom facilities available. Children's playground is safe and secure. (Mobility challenged swing available, but the locking mechanism is admitting a little excessive in that some physical strength is required to engage/disengage the locking safety restraining mechanism. Recently installed 'Lion Figure's public water fountain. Public outdoor exercise equipment near the playground area for an added peasant park experience. Additional parking is available directly across from the park proper. Please be aware of pedestrian traffic entering and exiting the park from automobile traffic. All in all a fun public place for sea anglers and even learn some local historical, while viewing the local recreational watercraft in the marina area. If you are a recreational boater, there is a boat launching ramp in the newer portion of the park that is at the extreme southern end. This portion of the park area is accessed by continuing down the roadway beyond the playground area of DeWolf Park.

Needs signage regarding bicycles on the harbour walk. Are they permitted? Appears too narrow for two way pedestrians mixed with passing cycles. Also chain link barriers on water side are at the height for flipping cycles. Standards for bicycle barriers require much higher chains.

It is a great place. I regularly use the boat launch which is a great 'free' facility. Lately however there has been a commercial venture set up there renting out jet skis as well as a pontoon boat. I just came in and the jet skis were tied up at the warf they usually in the way of those attempting to launch and pull their pleasure craft. Additionally there were two large gas cans on the floating dock both of which were full and unsupervised not safe particularly with the numbers of children in the area. Commercial should not be allowed there.

It was my first time at DeWolf Park but I am sure I will go back. It is a nice walk, probably not too busy this time of year, as it was today. It is by the water which I love. There is a nice little playground for kids and a wharf if you want to fish. A few were getting mackerel today but I never seen any of size. Nice place for a little walk and get some excersize.

Lots of great space for all ages. The new playground is safe and fun. Located on the Bedford Basin so it's always wonderful fresh air! Highly recommend jackets on a windy day though. A hub for families in the summer for picnics, fishing, seeing seals and taking a stroll along the waterfront. Public washrooms are usually clean but dark.
