Has got to be a Top-5 drive in the WORLD. I've driven through the Appalachian Mountains - including the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway (which is also very beautiful) - the Adirondacks, the Canadian Rockies, the #1 HWY in California from San Francisco to LA (which is awesome), all over Italy, including Cinque Terra, Lago di Como, Lago di Garda. My point is, I've been fortunate enough to be on some very nice drives and I always come back home to Nova Scotia to drive the Cabot Trail... Top-5 in my books... a must-see if you come to Nova Scotia.

I have traveled the trail a bit for business, but never really took the time to stop and look around. You won't be disappointed if you do! Nice views and lots of places to stop and look around. I imagine this would be a awesome tour during the fall when the leaves are changing.

Definitely some of the best driving I've ever done in my life, even with a big van. Whoever mapped this out did an amazing job, especially with all the lookout points. Photos can't really justify it's beauty here, there's just too many KM of smooth winding roads. Just be cautious in the north section. You'll end up going down some huge mountains which can cause brake fade. I actually had to pull over at the Lone Shieling due to my brakes smoking. I'd recommend using engine braking as much as possible if you're in a heavier vehicle, those rotors will start cooking on some of those huge decents.

A must see and drive in the Fall. Such beautiful colours with the leaves changing. They have worked on the roads and made them wider and so smooth. A pleasure to drive on.
