First visit was on Canada Day 2010 (July 1). The parade went through the village and everyone followed it to the Ehdaa Historical Site. Here they have an Arbor (a circular building) with seating. There were food stations set up, BBQ, a live band, two giant Happy Canada Day birthday cakes, games for kids, drumming, and more. Everything was free, compliments of Liidlii Ku First Nation. There are regular events all summer at the site. At any given time, on any day of the year, you will always see people driving the road that goes around the site. It is next to the confluence of the Mackenzie and Liard rivers, and the view is something you can't help wanting to see again and again.
