Beautiful in the summer and winter. Be careful when walking off the designated path when snow is on the ground. Its difficult to tell if you're standing on rock or water, and you never know how thick the ice is!

A great little walk to the Cameron River Rampart Falls

This park is a nice place to have a picnic and enjoy the Cameron River. The is one of the routes you can start on to hike to Cameron Falls / Ramparts. I believe that this area was used as a Boy Scout camp in the 70's before it was turned into a park. The trail to Cameron Falls comes out at the Hidden Lake Territorial Park Cameron Falls Trail. If you want to go to the falls, that is a better choice, the trail is an easier hike. There are a number of picnic sites, outhouse and garbage bins. It is never very busy.
