Lovely hike on a sunny day... not too difficult, although slightly icy and wet when we went in April.

Good hike. Not too long or too short

First visit here, the hike was about 40 mins 1 way. A lot of hill and some stairs, the trail takes you through a bit of bush and some terrain. Not too bad of a hike. The views at the falls though are so good. Lots of great photo opportunities here, or rest areas to just enjoy the views. Bring water for sure, oh and a camera as I mentioned a lot of great views.

Nisarg Gajjar

Fairly slippery trail. Make sure you're well dressed but the walk is worth it .

Alex Shiu

Nice hiking place with beautiful scenery. Good place for photo shooting.

Sophie N

Amazing falls, these are the upper ones. Be careful as some parts are steep and slippery with the snow. There's an amazing point of view over the pines, we reached there at sunset and it was beautiful!!

Cameron Munford

Nice hike in great view

Brad Fougere

Went in May before the thaw and while I had to climb into the woods to dodge some icy patches on the path, it was worth the effort even with the Falls still covered in ice.

Justin Melville

Nice short hike, easy difficulty in summer. Moderate in winter. Be prepared to slide down hills on your backside 7 months out of the year.

Tim Lo

Very nice view

Zayan Anwar

This place has one of the best views in the world. Only professionals will understand.

Short hike with some steep inclines. At the end you'll see a somewhat large waterfall. Bring lots of bug spray! I was there in July. Ok for beginners

The best hiking spot in Yellowknife, in winter you can see all the mountains are covered by the snow. In the summer, the river is soooo clear like a mirror !! Here u can see the Canada national birds, but plz don’t feed than the human’s foods. ????

John Zhu

All frozen in March, but I can imagine how it can be beautiful in the spring

Robert Andrews

A great hike for the whole family, and the falls are a surprising hidden gem just outside the city (Yellowknife). Safe, well-marked trail/paths, just challenging enough to be a good workout but not fatiguing. Several rock/hill/stairs ascents/descents, so not suitable for those with physical challenges. Accessible year-round and worth visiting in "both" of the Northern seasons.

Ben Pol

A must see falls and hike if you're visiting Yellowknife.

Katie Tseng

Highly recommend.

Llyanina Lora

Very good and relaxed hiking

Robert Noseworthy

Good little hike and worth the time, bring bug spray though.

Easy trail and great scenic view of the river.

Absolutely stunning walk and falls. Saw many Grey Jays along the way. Worth the drive from Yellowknife to embrace nature on this beautiful hike.

Jill Detlor

Amazing hike to a surprisingly beautiful destination. Highly recommended!

Rajnesh Joshi

After a beautiful journey on the NWT landscape, you are met with this beauty. A cool waterfall, as you get closer to the glacing ice on the sides, you can feel the frigid air and atmosphere. Worth the journey!
