Here you will see the opinions of people like you who purchase the products of Bush Pilots Monument (Tourist Attraction) around Northwest Territories area (Canada).
At the moment the business receives a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can see its rating is basically the top, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the rating is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to give feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction corresponds to the category of Historical landmark.
Probably the best view of Yellowknife. An essential stop during a walk of Old Town.
Very nice look out point. Great views of old town and the lake, walking distance to The Wildcat cafe if you get hungry from the walk up the stairs.
No elevators. You have to bring your own, or just walk up there.
One of the best views in the city. A must stop for anyone visiting Yellowknife.
Great view of Yellowknife House Boats
Great views of the city and the surrounding lake!
A nice cute view.
Easy to access and great view of bustling Yellowknife and the bay.
Great view on Yellowknife and Great Slave lake
My great grandfather was a bush pilot here and he did also pass away. The monument is lovely and I'm looking forward to the memorial event.
While it may not seem like a lot, this is one of the nicest places in Yellowknife to get a panoramic view of Old Town the bay and the downtown area.
Awesome view of Yellowknife!
I lived there for 13 years and the view still ammazes me. Go in the afternoon so you can see the sun set over the hills
A great place to go to get a view of the city and Yellowknife Bay
Great view of the city and Houseboats.
Lovely views of the city.
Nice view as always.... Too many tourist nowadays but still such a nice view
Great view of the city and Latham island. Always a good outing.
Very scenic and beautiful!
This place is just cool, the history and the location are so interesting. And the view is something else! There are a bunch of different plaques around the monument area telling you about the history and what you're looking at. It's not accessible at all, you do have to climb a whole bunch of stairs to get up there but that's pretty understandable given the location. There is some seating if you wanted to just sit there and enjoy the view for a bit or maybe do some sketching. Certainly a good place for a photo op.
Beautiful view, great place. Hiking is not too difficult.
Great Place, Awesome view from the Top...
Climb a few steps into this small hill you will have a very nice view of the harbor and the Great Slave Lake. It could be windy on the hill, bring your jacket so you can stay longer and enjoy the scenery.
Amazing 360 degree views
Great way to get a gorgeous view of the bay!
Great place for eagle eye view of Yellowknife. Also good for watching the northern lights
Nice view of all yellowknife. A must see if visiting.
With a few stairs walk to the top. We are able to see the whole town til horizon, which is very nice. Can also see some hydroplanes landing and taking off. A must visit place in Yellow knife.
Amazing view of Yellowknife. Nice to see appreciation for pilots and the history they have in the community.
it has a specular view over the town
Beautiful place to stand and view the city of Yellowknife from
I would like the monument to be bigger, looks like a paper plane. I believe that the pilots who helped build this city deserve little better. The sight on top is really nice.
Nice view over the city but nothing exceptional, maybe because it was cloudy... From my point of view, not a 'must-seen' as I read in many comments
Great views of the bays and the town. It was not busy when I went though the rest of the town seemed to be and we watched the sun set.
Dedicated to the memory of three aviation pioneers who died in 1932. It's a beautiful viewpoint which gives you a 360 view. Clear evenings, especially during Aurora phases is incredible. Take a walk through Raccine Park nearby to read signs on the history of Yellowknife.
Good sightseeing location not only day time but also at night, can see aurora to north side!!
Nice panoramic view of the area. Easy walk up the stairs in Old Town. Great place to go!
It's the best view in Yellowknife to fully appreciate the old town and surrounding waters.
Great view of the float plane, the houseboats, the Great Slave Lake and Old Town. Worth the walk up the steps!
Great views. Good history.
Great views of Yellowknife from here. Just beware that it's overrun by tourists, so if you want clear pictures of the monument itself, well, good luck.
Great 360 views of the houseboats and the floatplanes landing (more in the Summer), you might see Air Tindi take off from the runway on the ice and you'll see the ice road over to Dettah in the winter, or the boats and canoes in the summer. Read a little on the bush pilots that opened up the North and soak in a little history.
Beautiful views, great spot to see the city!
The best view of the town and the water. You get a real feel for the old days. Many of the historical sites have descriptions as you look out over the particular spot.
Beautiful spot. You can see most of Yellowknife and surrounding bodies of water.
A Lovely look out point with a great view. The staircase is a bit treacherous, but exercise normal caution and you'll be fine. Once at the top you can see for miles, and from the ground this site is visible from most of the old town, making it a good landmark.
Nice View at the top of the stairs
Grey November day, but still good view of the Old Town, the new district, and the frozen lake from the "Rock."
This place offers an excellent view of the surrounding area plus has an interesting history behind it. There are several informative plaques on the property with information behind the monument. It's also a great place to orient yourself in relationship to Yellowknife.
This monument has the best view of the city. It is worth the walk just for that.
Great food! Love to come back next time
Beautiful view from the top overlooking the Great Slave Lake
Good view wish they had more info around the monument
Beautiful me and my husband Chris sat and ate
Awesome!
Beautiful view from Top...
Nice lookout point to see the entire area around here. There are several benches where you can sit and watch the seaplanes land and takeoff as well. Be sure to park in the small parking lot on Ingraham Drive, and then you can walk from there up the stairs to the monument.
OK, but maybe a little bad ⭐⭐
Sharing a good moment, nice view, I drove from Mexico to see the northern lights ????
Great place to take pictures! You get a 360 view of Yellowknife from the top of the monument. Also, great view of the lake!
Very cool!
Good location can see down town, old town and up town. Beautiful view but wind is strong when you stand on top
Beautiful view and nice post about the monument at the top. Definitely worth the treck up the hill
Very unique place! Great vantage point of Yellowknife! View of Houseboats, Bush planes landing, boat traffic. Must see Yellowknife attraction. Worth the steps up! Very rugged!
Great view from this spot, a must.
Landmark with amazing views, broke my arm falling off it though.
Enjoy the view of Great slave lake.
Very nice
A nice monument to those pilots who have made living in the remote northern reaches possible.
good!
What a wonderful view of the city! The short hike starts near Bollucks' Bistro and I stayed longer than I expected!
the most convenient and scenic place to watch the northern light and the view of the city.
Great view of Yellowknife!
Nice views of Yellowknife. Otherwise a nice part of Old Town. Not worth the trip on its own.
The best view of Old Town
Great place to watch the Northern Lights without needing to travel out of town. Amazing view of the town both during the day and at night.
Lovely overview of town and lake.
Best place to see a sunset and lookout of the town.
Great view. Come at sunset.
Beautiful vantage point for views of yellowknife bay and back Bay. Watch float planes land and take off, fishing boats come and go. .
Fantastic views of Yellowknife!
Great spot for picture of the old town, the city and the harbour!
Beautiful view. Great history lesson.
Great lookout point to visit in any season. Amazing views to be had of old town and the houseboats.
Cool monument and lookout for some great views.
Very cool monument greeting you as you enter Yellowknife. Great photo op!
Great views of old town!
Little bits of trash, but a sweet view. Nice historicity, and a cool place for pics.
Best view a great slave lake and downtown Yellowknife.
Big rock with a great view of the old Town
Great view of Yellowknife's old town, the lake, and especially the back bay area.
This is just a cool vantage point of Yellowknife and Great Slave Lake. See lots of float planes taking off and landing, or just chill and admire the view.
Great to view the lights at
Beautiful views, a must visit when in Yellowknife
Great view! 10/10
In Yellowknife for work, had some free time, went to see some sights. The monument is pretty neat, it overlooks a wide lake and some quiet neighborhoods, very picturesque and serene.
Beautiful spot for the monument. Great view of Yellowknife and the bay. Also great spot for viewing the Auroras Borealis.
Currently undergoing restoration to the aircraft. Repainting, etc. So access is limited, and fencing surrounds site.
Location is awesome to keep bush pilots memories alive. People are respectful.
So peaceful to just sit after reading the monument and watch the activity of planes.
Great views a bit chilly in the wind
Beautiful views, well maintenance, good parking
Get a good view of the city, awesome place to relax!
A wonderful spot to get views of Yellowknife! Bring the kids!
Magnificent views of Yellowknife.
It is the top view from top to down, so good.
Great vantage point looking down on Yellowknife. Perfect for pictures.
Perfect view of the city. I did wedding photos here!
Best viewpoint in town for a panoramic landscape
Nice view of YK but not enough historical info in my opinion
The best view in town!
Great view at the top, worth a visit. Lots of stairs to get there.
Beautiful view of the city.
A must visit place in YK
If you need to find a hill or stairs for you workout this is a great spot for that and it offers some great views
Great views of Yellowknife and the lake.
Excellent dedication to the pilots who explored the northern NWT.. From here you get a great view of Yellowknife Harbour and the islands situated in Great Slave Lake. If you are out of shape the walk up the stairs could get you breathing a little harder. The monument is also close to a number of Yellowknife's best restaurants and cafes.
Great place to look at the Great Slave Lake!
A beautiful view of the bay and old town. It is a steep climb up and can be quite cold in the wind. Dress warmly and walk carefully among the rocks.
...can't complain, its wonderful even in the rain
Nice place, great view. Historic place.
Amazing views and a neat kernel of history.
Bush Pilot's Monument and Just Coming Up to this Lookout is a MUST. Those Bus Pilots were Crazy Cowboys of the North. Props. Great Views as Well held Here of the Surrounding Area.
Beautiful monument to Canadian pilots in the northwestern province of Canada, at a high altitude, where you can see the great extension of the great lake of the exclavos, and the town of yellowknife.
Nice view of Great Slave Lake and Yellowknife.
Beautiful spot the day after winter solstice.
Bring a camera because the view is awesome and wear a good jacket.
Gorgeous lookout although the stairs can get a little slippery and dangerous in winter. You get a whole view of the city of Yellowknife from here - great for viewing the Northern Lights!
Breathtaking view
Always a great place to go. Great view, a must see for yourself.
A nice view of the Old Town, the Yellowknife Bay etc...
Excellent view of the area.
Great views of the city and lake
Very nice view
Such a pretty please for all seasons ❤
Nice place for sight seeing from height ????.
A must see of you are in Yellowknife! It has a great view of Old Town, as well as the harbour and also parts of downtown Yellowknife. Just need to climb some stairs to get there, and there is a ton of pieces of glass on the rocks, but other than that it is golden!
Great location to get a panoramic view of the area. Lots of stairs to get to the top but it is worth the journey.
Great view but quiet windy!!
Nice easy to get to spot in the heart of Yellowknife! Great views and not super crowded!
After I climbed up the stairs to the top of the hill, the stunning view caught my eyes immediately. I could see the view far away from the hill. BTW, you should wear something that can keep you warm there. The wind is chilly.
Great spot to look out over house boat Bay and enjoy the sights. Can get crowded during tourist season.
Great view of all old town.
Stairs were scary but awesome views
Must see if ya in old Town...easy walk to the top and Google
Amazing views over the town and frozen lakes. If you are lucky you could see a ski plane take off and at night it is a good place to spot the Aurora if you don't have a car to get outside the town. On your way down you go past several good shops and restaurants. If there in the winter have etip gloves to work your camera or prepare to have about 10 seconds of usable hand to take pictures before fumbling with gloves!
Nice view of yellowknife and good spot for a quick workout
If you want to see Yellowknife's whole view, you must go here
Nice place to see the old town
Good view of old town
Greayt spot to look at the views of the water.
Very beautiful place with amazing panoramic views. A great place to sit, relax, enjoy the view, and listen to music ????????????
Beautiful view of the bay and great slave lake. Also a view of the city.
This is a very nice spot for a view of the city of Yellowknife and the house boats on Great Slave Lake. I come here often, just for the look...
Perfect location for Yellowknife landscape photography
Great view. Nothing to overly rate lol.
Great place to see the aurora!
Great view of the area and old town
Great view of Yellowknife and surroundings.
Amazing view of Old Town and back bay
A good focus to walk to for children in old town. The collection of local flowers in the community garden are great examples. The view from the top worth checking out. One can see the house boats, Joliffe Island, and much of Yellowknife. Try walking a circle route by parking before reaching the Hill, walking up the hill, up to monument, then down the monument, into the trees area across the street onto a path. Walk down the hill until you come out to the bridge where Wiley and MacDonald meet. Turn right to go along MacDonald and walk back along MacDonald to look at the glass works street. My kids enjoyed climbing up and down the rocks to the top instead of the stairs. Perfectly safe for younger kids on the right of stairs (as looking at hill) and not the left where rock is steeper and on larger exposed sheets. The flowers in the community garden across street also had a good collection of wild bees. I counted 1 hive variety and 3 or 4 types of solitary bees.
It was good to see the entire area. but I felt it was dangerous because of the ice/snow. There was no railing to hold on the top of the monument. It would have been better if I saw this in summer.
Best place to get the whole view of Yellowknife!!
Amazing views of the Bay and most of Yellowknife. A nice sunny day is perfect for viewing..you can watch the floatplanes take off and land..great hike up the multiple stairs
Beautiful spot to see the whole city. The view goes for miles
Nice view. Good picture location.
It's beautiful...so nice to see the entire city 4m one place

It's just a great spot for panoramic views of the area.

The Monument is also a lookout at the Old Town, which gives you a 360 panorama view. Definitely a place worth a visit.
A great view and beautiful place!
Always a great climb to an amazing view
Awesome view, especially during a cold winter morning!
Beauty spot to take in the city
An excellent place to visit while in Yellowknife. The view from here is spectacular.
What a stunning view you get up here. When in YK, this is a must visit lookout point for great IG pics.
Beautiful spot
Magnificent views of the lake
Beautiful and amazing place. You can see the view of Yellowknife downtown area.
Offers an amazing view on the bay. Very easy access.
Nice view of the area easy to get to convenient parking for everthing around like the little restaurants at the point
Great view of the city.
Good view of surrounding city and lake. (If you go in the winter, dress for windy conditions as well as cold.)
Great views of Yellowknife and Great Slave Lake
A great place to view Yellowknife and surrounding bays from Old Town. A must stop for your visit to Yellowknife.
The view was really nice. Right before a tour bus got there.
Great views of Yellowknife from the monument site. The winds at the top give you an appreciation for some of the flying conditions that the bush pilots in the North have to put up with.
Awesome vantage point to view the city skyline, old town, and the bay with the houseboats, along with learning a bit of history about bush pilots in Yellowknife. Be aware though that the monument is on a hilltop so there are many stairs to climb to get to the top but the view is worth it. Very nice place to be for sunrises, sunsets, auroras, and night skies. Make sure to bring your camera.
Simply stunning, a place in yellowknife you couldn't miss!!!
