REVIEWS OF Lee-Lifeson Art Park IN North York

Lily J. Mills

Excellent venue for performance events, when they're able to have them.

Bo Yu

Willowdale Park let bands play through amplifiers without a noise exemption. It's a noise nuisance to people who live nearby. Have reported to 311.

Kate Moss

Nicely laid out and it has lots of seating and walking paths.

Such a cool spot which is apparently underused. It has so much potential for community events: music, talent shows, impromptu concert, food exhibition, art shows, vendor or marketplaces.

alisha zameer

A good place for evening walk

A wonderful place for all ages to sit, walk, shout in the fun megaphones, watch a show in the outdoor theatre space, or talk with a friend or neighbour. Lee Lifeson Art Park is also great for groups. What a marvellous place for an arts-focused community like Willowdale!

The little winding path in the park that connects to the Lee Lifeson spot is lovely for walking your dog or going for a stroll with a friend. Since this place has been built it doesn't seem to have been used for anything except as a teen hangout enjoying cannabis. Looks like it could be an excellent place for music or a play. Potential/ intentional purpose is unclear but it's a great place to sit outside in a bustling community. Thank you Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson for your contribution to Willowdale Park, North York.

Brett Hoornaert

Beautiful park. I love it.

Emily

Free street parking surrounding small community park, with public interactive art installations and space for performances

Fun little park in the neighbourhood. They have those fun microphone speakers where you can speak to others from the distance. Could do with a little more shaded area for those super hot and sunny days...

Ali Bhagat

Interesting art items and doesn't take long to see everything...all the world's indead a stage!! No parking signs are on the street (9-6 M-F) but could see the car the entire time while visiting just in case!

Near my Home, good for casual stroll. Good for kids to run! Adults to walk!

This park was renovated 1-2 years ago and is really great now. There is an outdoor stage with seating and a little structure that includes washrooms. There is also a sound exploration zone which is great for children. Not a huge park but a nice place to walk through. It is also connected to a path that makes its way through several parks in the area.

(Translated) It's a bit unfortunate to have no dense park shade in the city, but it's nice. (Original) 도심속의 울창한 공원 그늘 이 없는게 다소 아쉽지만 나름좋아요

Amazing park, scared the crap out of me when I first went..

Outdoor seating around the stage has NO shade cover! Bring a sun umbrella, sunblock and lots of layers. Incredibly stupid design.

This place really shouldn’t be called a “park”. It’s a tiny area with a few weird shaped pieces of metal that I guess are “art”. Not even enough space to go for a walk here.

McKenna Searle

Its a cool park. No playground but sometimes there are random free shows there of varying quality.

Marla Minshall

Great place for engagement photos

Beautiful little place to relax. Fits into the community perfectly. And if you are a Rush fan, you GOTTA go there.

R W

Small peaceful quiet park(ette), but, more of an artful spin regarding the science of sound to the place rather than tribute to the band’s founders.

Abrahim Farah

It is a nice small park that serves the neighborhood.

Kamatis moon

Good place to walk

Peter. Alexander Dixon

I was there for a music jam session. Very quiet good ambiance. The park has good physics training.

Lisa Gee

It's beautiful . I hope everyone in the community enjoys it!

Gary C

A very lovely neighborhood park. Lots of passerby who walked by with their dogs. There's a bandshell stage area but there was nothing happening at that time due to pandemic. It is a great place for eating your take out while supporting the nearby restaurants along the Yonge Street area.

Pzfski Sizstki

Looks nice
