This beach rocks. It ia situated right accross the carrousels and the mini train, you can walk, bike or drive here. It is roght at the dock where you can go on a cruise with the Chief Commanda 2. The park is fun for small ant big people. there is a wooden boardwalk if you are tired of walking in the sand. there are change rooms. the beach ia sandyball the way wirh lots of trees and you can go out nice and far.

Massive playground, large sandy beach, public bathrooms, pier, cruise boat, fishing, marina, band stand and more! Tons of free parking. The kids carousel and train are right across the road. Really great feature in North Bay. Seemed clean and there wasnt any garbage on the beach or in the water. Easy to spend at least a half day here with your kids.

Beautiful beach close to town. There's a rental shop with kayaks and paddle boards at the end of the dock. Public restrooms were clean and readily available. We went during the evening for a walk too!

The water was so nice to swim in, really cool park right near lake too & washrooms/change rooms were respectable. The beach was maintained & a bunch of lifeguards there. Also a foot rinse stationed outside of washroom/change rooms.

Sand is so soft, and so is the beach once you get inside the water. Water is not too deep and fairly shallow for kids to play in. Great to have a public beach so close to the downtown core of North Bay!

The most convenient but busy beach in North Bay area. This beach is great as it has play structures built on sand, indoor operating bathrooms and potable water. As it is downtown, there are many options for food and drinks surrounding the beach, including ice cream, "The Boat" restaurant/bar, and other local attractions to attend. Was my favorite place to go for Canada Day in the area as the weather was hot, live music was playing, and plenty of people to enjoy the heat and water with.

Close to the downtown. Easily accessible for those living or staying in the central part of the city. Lots of space to sit and relax. It is one of the three supervised beaches in the city. The other two are on Trout Lake. Olmstead Beach and the Birchaven Cove Beach.

The beach is nice and the park is amazing for the kids. A good amount of seating at the park for adults and Volleyball courts are well kept. The beach is close to the pier and an ice cream stand is easily accessible. Very happy with this beach

This is a great beach, always packed in the summer. They have one of the coolest playgrounds I’ve seen for children to play with, great sandy beach area that they keep clean and some great volleyball courts. Just a note you have to bring your own net to setup but the poles are there.

They are making great effort in keep this beach clean and family oriented. Don't let one or two incidents scare you from coming. Those things usually don't get reported at beaches in other cities because there it's so common place it's not newsworthy.
