Good stop for fresh fruit, especially peaches. Pies and other baked goods available too. Hot coffee is offered as well. Great customer service. I asked for a coffee and they made a fresh pot. While I waited I sat down outside and the kind girl behind the counter went outside to find me and deliver it to me. The ice cream is good, and homemade too. The whole place is pricey but worth it.

Howard Chong

Great fruit market when peaches are in season. Really fantastic fresh baked pies, muffins and pastries.

Nathan Wolfe

Great pies! Fresh tasting and they have strawberry! We love the tiny church too.

Brian Scott

The market had the smallest church in the nation or works. I know big difference but still interesting to check out. They have Maple syrup samples inside which is so smooth you can drink it like a drink and not get that thick sugary taste. They also have Maple syrup honey mustard samples which may sound bad but it's quite good because it has a distinct spice taste to it and it's not too spicy to burn your life away but enough to say hey this is spicy. It has a great taste and I actually bought some to bring back to Georgia. I tried the pie and oh my it was scrumptious and it's worth the buy. I think it was between $3-5 CAN which is decent for me.

April Houghton

Love their jam and sandwiches! The tiny church is also there. If I wasn't allergic to strawberries I would buy a flat of them...they look perfect!

eric man

If you're looking for local farmers market in Niagara on the lake, it's a place you should visit. Walker not just only offer local seasonal produce, freshly baking goods and house made jam like grape and peach. They also bring other local product like goat cheesesoap and chili miso, something it's not quite offer to find.

Felicia Chini

I came in here for a pie, and it might have been the most delicious peach and blueberry crumble I've ever had! It was definitely a little more expensive than I'm used to, but it was fantastic!

Spiros Zervos

Best butter tarts I've had. Like liquid gold. Was sad that I didn't get a 6 pack as they were closing.

Jennifer Humeniuk

What can I say about Walker's? It's fantastic. Another family-owned gem in the Niagara Region. Of COURSE, there's the wonderful fresh produce, but my-oh-my, the fresh pies, fruit tarts and muffins (try the strawberry muffins in late spring and early summer!) are just wonderful. Their boxed lunches are also, unquestionably one of the best deals in the area. Perfect for picnics, wine tours, etc, etc, etc. For a beyond-reasonable price you get a choice of 1. several beautiful, house-made sandwiches, 2. several beautiful, house-made deserts and 3. a beverage (and not just your average sodas!!).

Jean-Francois Poulin

A nice point of view to visit. Makes great photos.

Angee Cantu

Awesome assortment of fresh fruits & veggies, plus we picked up a super yummy rhubarb pie (still warm) ~ so pleased with everything purchased! Friendly staff...wish I lived closer!

Great home baked goods. We had tarts ... the pastry was super thin and delightful. The apple cinnamon muffin was amazing. Hot apple cider (not too sweet) hit the spot on a cool fall day drive in niagara. A great stop.

The wife and I were on our motorcycle trip when we stumbled upon this. We were heading to Mississauga beach from Niagara falls. We were looking for a place to eat and I recalled passing this on our way in. Stopped in figuring they only had fruit or so.....WRONG! They have a mini deli with fresh made sandwiches, all the maple goodies you could want and plenty of decent, friendly staff. They have these maple suckers that I fell in love with. Wish I had more

Gerard Buckley

A great market stop along Niagara Parkway. Lots of baked goods and local fresh fruit and produce.

Ashley Swartz

Wonderful place with a wide selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables. The indoor country store with a fabulous bakery is such a deliģht. The two fresh out of the oven pumpkin ???? released such amazing aromas, on the ride back to Toronto. Both pies were gobbled up with rave reviews on Thanksgiving. Covid-19 protocols are in place and the staff are all helpful and friendly.

Lyn SEAGER

Hsiang-Fu Jan

Conveniently located along the main road that connects from Niagara Falls to Niagara on the Lake, this small market offers lots of fresh fruit, corn, jams, and other tasty treats that are locally made and grown. This store is a common stop for those biking along the Niagara on the Lake trail. Be sure to also check out the small chapel next to the market! One of the smallest chapels I've seen in Ontario! Makes for a great picture.

Dan Way

Bob Campbell

Great fresh vegetables and fruit. Their jams and preserves are wonderful and the Avondale Ice Cream bar is Super and really well priced.

George Bacha

Very nice place, the peaches there are a must. They make sandwiches with bread coming out of the oven. Taste their pies, you will love them. Also very friendly and customer oriented.

Jasper S.

This place was an absolute treat. We ended up coming here because it was one of the only farmer’s markets we could find that was open later than 6 PM on a Saturday, and I’m glad we made the trip. There’s a nice variety of local goods- from homemade pies, sandwiches, and jams to fresh produce and even their own ice cream shop. What I loved is that there were free samples throughout the store- we got to try maple syrup, peanut brittle, jams, and an amazing onion dip while we were there. Overall a really cool stop not too far away from the Niagara Falls area. If you make the drive through the scenic Niagara-on-the-Lake area it’s definitely worth checking out!

Julio D

Their pies are best in town and other baked goods (like butter tarts) ain't too shabby either. ???? Love their jams too! Fresh produce etc. We always make a point to visit.

Christina Vandervlist

A wonderful bounty of fresh produce. There were even "seconds" of hail-damaged fresh fruit, which I really appreciate being offered at a discount rather than discarded. Terrific variety of local items for home and kitchen. Lots of delicious treats, as well as ice cream, sandwiches and baked goodies.

frederic carter

Super friendly folks and terrific produce/meats,would go there again for sure!

Kim G

If they have corn and the cob, buy it. It's great. Also crunchy peanuts are so good. Everything was so tasty. Bought maple syrup also.

ARIF MOHAMMED

The ice creams were great. So were the cherries and Strawberries. Nice little place with good options. The people seemed a little grumpy but may be coz it was the end of the day.. They are following strict hygiene, which is great. It is a very scenic drive from Niagara to here. Would definitely stop by next time I'm in the area.

Great staff. Very fresh and good tasting foods. Nice spot to quiet down and enjoy hot apple cider.

John Bertotti

Very quaint. Quality of product first class. Peaches are very good and picked ripe. Cost a little high, but the flavour can't be beat. They were picked fully tree ripened as opposed to ripening in transit/storage.

Patrick

Stop by for a coffee and shop.

This local market is a perfect place to shop for fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. Especially, in the morning, the baking smell makes me hungry and leads me to buy some bread. Additionally, fresh sandwiches are my favourite. My husband and I mostly eat some sandwiches for Saturday breakfast.

Joe Pansolin

Nice local produce. Has excellent baked goods and sandwiches. Good place to stop when cycling along Niagara Parkway.

Tracey Fry

Nothing special. Very expensive because my son was wanting to buy one of their jars of jam, but they wanted $9.00 for a jar. Their peaches were just ok, nothing to be overly excited about.

M Walker

Wonderful shop my friend and I happened across today as we wrapped up our weekend getaway in the Niagara region. The baked goods are delicious. I'm very particular about pie crust and theirs meet my high expectations.

Jeremy C

Cute little market that sells a lot of sweets. The ice cream was pretty good here. Lost one star because of the very high prices. (Ex: $8.00 for a small basket of strawberries, $8.00 for 6 small chocolate chip cookies)

Victor Olvera

Phenomenal stopover for a snack and a peaceful experience. Their pies are BEYOND PHENOMENAL. Probably one of the best ones you've ever tried in all your life and travelling! It's an experience! Worth trying even for carb and gluten cautious people! Worth to experience ????❤

K S (K)

Great selection, didn't have apple pie so I tried a grape pie...Amazing. if I had only had it heated with a la mode and it would have been perfect. I'll be back in the region to try some other locations to sample the pies...

PETER HAN

This is an average local farm market. There was a long line for the checkout. there were 3 counters, 2 for the goods and 1 for the ice cream. However the one for the ice cream was not used and the whole line was held up with folks waiting for the ice cream. Food was a bit over priced in my opinion. I got stawberries and cherries. Strawberry was small but sweet enough. Cherry was not sweet enough for me. I assume this market is better than local farm stands.

Kerri Jensen

A bit pricey but good.

Richard Carter

Great place. Very nice selection of seasonal fresh produce. Friendly place.

Marvin Bosetti

Great place to get fresh fruits and vegs. Has a good variety of jam and baked pies, muffins and butter tarts. You can also get Ice cream ones. This is just a great place fo stop. They also have restrooms in a separate building.

Joe Barbosa

Prestige properties. Beautiful property beautiful store beautiful food items

Heather Skiba

Great fresh produce, ice cream, and local shop.

Joyce Dolat

I've eaten a lot of corn on the cob the past 60 years, never as delicious as Walkers! Was thrilled to stop and eat one and enjoyed ever single kernel. I had to buy some to take back home so I could try to grow it next summer...that's how impressed I was!

Paul

This is all the ice cream they give you if you order a single cone (they were all out of cones as well). One of my kids actually thought she had done something wrong to get such a small amount and began crying because she thought she was being punished. This is an actual photo before she began eating.

Dave Taylor

Love the fruit vegetables and pies.

Rhanna Thurgood

This place is ok. Not exceptional to warrant a tour. Very small and sells most things that are already on other tourist shops. You can try maple syrup which is cool I guess. Also a lot of home made sauces / jams if that is of interest.

Debbie Merai

Everything thing is just perfect about this country market ...too many to list..but after you shop ..please grab a cookie and their icecream...ooh so good..

Brian McLeod

Great place, lots of local produce and baking. Good experience

Taysia Herrmann

Came here as a last stop on a self guided bike tour. We had a scoop of ice cream that was fantastic! We purchased some local goodies and were very happy with what they had to offer! A great variety of local mustards/dips, syrup, and maple treats!

Sharon Blanock

We LOVE Walkers and look forward to it every time we visit Niagara. They have THE BEST deviled eggs sandwich and other sandwiches, fabulous baked goods, great quality fruit, samples of their dips, sauces, jellies which are also wonderful.

Peter Henderson

They have all types of fresh produce and bakery items. Their rhubard & strawberry pies are delicious as are the banna breads. They even sell ice cream as well as herbs and spices. Hot corn on the cob can be bought at the entrance. Yummy with lots of butter. A cute little single room Christian chapel is located on the property which draws as lot of visitors.
