REVIEWS OF Ryerson Park IN Niagara-on-the-Lake

Ramnath Kumar

Awesome especially during sunset

Terry Proveau

Nice little park that could use a few more parking spots. Nice view of the lake.

Feel the vibe

Small area..but nice and romantic one.u can see Toronto frome here!!!!limited parking, not more than 5cars.

Peter Petya

This little gem is tucked in between quaint lakeside neighborhood and slowed down street off the main ways in Niagara-On-The-Lake. The park is merely a narrow lawn just before the Lake Ontario with few benches and maybe one or two picnic …

dallas auker

I jog here often and do my workout routine. It's a nice view of the lake and a misty Toronto off in the distance. It is nice and quite with benches and picnic tables. No public washroom.

Artur Ulatowski

Quite Quaint park right on the lake. It is far off tourist path. There is not much traffic except for locals and lost tourist. If you are looking for place for a rest it would work perfectly. …

Lisa Rose-Reynolds

Perfect place to swim and watch the sunset!

Kuljot Grewal

Nice small park along the shores of lake Ontario with some picnic tables, some of which are not under proper shade so temperature/weather should be considered when planning to visit, parking is limited so also plan that accordingly.

Dalbir Singh Sidhu Bhai Ka

Sun point. Ryerson Park truly a sacred gift for NOTL.

Leann Knysh

Went to watch sunset here. Very nice place to go in Niagra on the Lake

Sean C

This is a nice little park with a few benches and a couple picnic tables. We went to it for the first time in years and was surprised to see the little beach that was once there, has fallen victim to the high water levels. You can still sit on the flat rocks and enjoy a dip in the refreshing waters. One of my favourite places to watch the sunset...even though last night's was hidden behind the clouds :(

Humayoun Khan

Parking is limited. But a nice small and quiet park.

Pooyan Zamanian

Quite and peaceful. Loved it!

Frank Yang

Small and quiet park with a small beach and a view of towers of Toronto.

Vera Cui

Beautiful parking but not enough parking. Beware of town of NOTL's cheap shot. The park has only three of four parking spots and the rest are no parking zone. Cops will wait until many car parked in no-parking zone and start to give out ticket. Typical cheat shot combined with tourist trap.

Andrew Grzela

Nice small park with view of Toronto skyline

Emma Rivera

Beautiful little park. Beware of flying caterpillars if you're sitting under trees.

Victoria S

Wow what a place! Make sure to see this during a sunset. Truly took my breath away. Cannot wait to be back.

Cecilia “Ceci” De-Hanna

Quiet break between million dollar house row on beautiful Lake Ontario, with a very small beach with access through a narrow iron set of stairs for the bodily-able. A four car space for one hour parking is available. As usual, cigarette butts by picnic tables bring visitors back to the reality of the existence of those who care little for the beauty of natural habitats that we can still enjoy in urban/suburban spaces. If you bring stuff to eat, please take them with you as well...

Debranjan Maji

Small but unexplored. pristine charm, not meant for party lovers. Respect the privacy and scerinity of the surrounding. And of course don't litter!

dana pooley

Best spot to watch the sunset

Tim Christiano

Quiet little park overlooking Lake Ontario, plenty of benches, a picnic table and small beach. Was told that it has a great sunset. Great place to wind down and enjoy a view of Toronto across the lake.

Michelle Gitau

Beautiful place to watch the sunset over the lake.

soshish

Peacefull but no camping no fires and no bbq allowed

Victor Hugo Germano

Niagara on the lake: best view of Toronto! Great place

Sara Scott

Great lookout point in Notl. There are some picnic tables and benches for sitting and resting. You can also go down to the water at the shore. Great local spot too.

Rose-Marie French

Beautiful neighborhood, it's good for a walk around, spending time with friends and family for a picnic.

Dragonlord jason

Great little park you can even see Toronto from there

Akbar Masood

Very beautiful place to watch the sunset in ontario, however, there is literally no parking and the only one there is ends at 8pm and is also far from the actual park.

Nonol Nol

My favorite place for picnic, in secluded area not far from Niagara on the lake downtown core, almost five star, except only have parking space for 5

Charles Fizzell

Nice small park and beach. Very limited parking (~5 spots) in the immediate vicinity. Beach and water entrance is rocky, but a few feet out the bottom is soft sand and a gradual slope.

HR HK

One of the best place to visit while passing Niagara Falls

Kylee Perrier

What an adorable little spot!! I had no idea this little park was here! My friend and I had a picnic and it was so nice to be by the water in the shade under all the trees. Also great that they have a mini beach right below the hilltop!

Sally Bonsra

Such a quiet place to hang

Mihaela Anca Buture

Favourite place in town to watch the sunset, especially in solitude, when the park is not busy.

Munish Nayyer

Nice and calm Small park not too much rush

Glen E. Grant

Quaint park at the end of Niagara Blvd with ample parking for about 7 vehicles for 1hr. The park lends itself for enjoyment of the vast Niagara River as you gaze outward into vast waters occasionally glimpse of sea vessels off in distance may jog across your timeline. The park is small but offers up 4 picnic tables for enjoyment, however the shoreline can be walked. The best feature is the homes adjacent to the park for leisure stroll.

Mark Jones

A hidden gem next to Niagara on the Lake. Sunsets and views to forever (or at least to Toronto 23 miles away). Take a rug and let the kids run free, or have a paddle in summer.

Randolf Gaborno

Nice park. No parking lot nearby so be aware where you park. The town issues parking tickets here. Police patrol the areas quite often so security is great at surrounding areas.

Annette Cada

Absolutely beautiful. This is now one of my favourite places to go. It has a wonderful of the Sunset that I've ever seen. Its helpful to get there a little early, limited parking, and the spots fill up fast.

Karm Gosal

very peaceful place, sunset I liked it very much even though u can see the city of toronto from there CN tower too and during sunset toronto city looking amazing from there becoz of the toronto city lighting......

afp

Beautiful, peaceful spot. Nice benches overlooking the lake. Set of stairs takes you down to a small beach.

Faranak Miraghaee

This is an amazing place to sit back and relax while you watch the sunset.

Triya Vadgama

Bestestestestest place to just sit down and enjoy a view...... especially the sunset views......!!!! Note: very very very limited parking spaces available. Perfect place to enjoy a picnic and enjoy the sounds of waves!

Basela

Very beautiful quiet area, right by the water. The sunsets are insane. Parking is very limited thou, which I guess makes it perfect.

Angela De Los Santos

One of my favorites parks so far!! Completely breathing sunsets!

Robert Graham

Small but nice with a couple of parking spots and two staircases going down to a stone Beach on a clear day you can see the Toronto skyline

aerismel

Steve Barratt

Madylearn AsWeGrow

You must be in search of the best sunset view. Well you finally found it! This park is a hidden gem which took us years of searching. Best sunset view you can ever find. A small park located at a very nice silent residential neighbourhood in Niagara on the lake. Very nice place for a family picnic, family time just sat down enjoy the fresh air as you watch the sun set calmly through the night. Plenty of garbage bin around so there’s no reason to leave any clutter behind. Parking is very limited. I thing there’s only 4 side street spots available with 2 hour limit. You may have to find residential side street parking during peak times “weekends”. Not much lightings in the park at night so you may have to prepare if you okay to stay late at night. Attached some we took first week of October. Sun is like cherry red at this time of the year. We sat down to witness how it looks from sunset till dusk and no doubt, it’s amazing. if you think this review is helpful, do drop us a like below. Enjoy

Shaneh Abbas Jaffer

Clean and a great view. Perfect for a picnic. Limited parking so go during earlier hours

Muhammad Mamdani

It was amazing. Nice beach and water and had a picnic afterwards.

Phani Pradeep Makireddi

Nice view of Ontario lake and good beach... Parking is only issue..

Robert Jordan

This is a nice quiet little park hidden in Niagara On The Lake. It has a small beach but lots of small rocks as you walk into the water. So bring water shoes and picnic basket. Note, no bathrooms in the park.

J.E. S.

Beautiful park to bring your family and kids. Have a relaxing day and even do a picnic.????????????????????????????????

Bruce White

Great spot to walk and take some photos

Maria Gallo

A beautiful setting for a romantic picnic. Lake Ontario with a beauiful view and a stunning sunset. Bring a blanket and enjoy your time watching the waves, children playing in the water.

Ahmed M

Most beautiful view of the Lake Ontario, especially at the sunset or sunrise time. Unfortunately there is no parking available during the times covid-19. Before the virus there was 10$ parking available.

dave humphries

Get spot to sit on bench to relax & experience lake & river traffic.

Jessica Denenberg

A gorgeous and tranquil spot. Stunning panoramic views of the lake and surrounding homes!

Brian Young

Beautiful view great place for a quiet walk nice scenic area for a drive.

ashutosh choubey

Very beautiful sunset. Went on a Friday evening, an hour before sunset. Very peaceful and mesmerizing.

Larry Coplen

Great place to chill, different view every time depending on weather factors

mae mccoy

Great green space. No play area for the kids, also be careful with smaller children there is a considerable dropoff leading down to the very small beach area. Steps to beach access a little steep, but other than that a beautiful area for viewing , sitting quietly.

Marek Jarzabek

very nice please to enjoy views

William Rosson

Beautiful view of the lake and great waterfront access.

Flora Tang

Great quiet spot to end the night. I would acknowledge that residents are getting annoyed with people parking on the residential streets so please be considerate of that. It is technically allowed (and free). However, I noticed a few cars got tickets for parking too close to a driveway.

Cynthia L

Water is very clear with larger pebbles bottom, but it does have some green algae. The small beach is full of small pebbles, not much sand.

Phil McVilo

One of the most beautiful sunset in Canada. Careful, parking is limited. Parking enforcement guy is on site every night. Nothing better to do I guess. My taxes at work. Sad!

Linda Reid

Nice spot for an hours rest, trail down to the beach

carmen ispas

This Park is situated on Niagara on the lake ....is not big but it is so beautiful....you can watch the sunset on a bench or listen to the sounds of Waves in a windy day! That whole surrounding is nice , clean quite and with houses of different styles and nice decorated now in Fall!!

Donna Mirance Godek

Great place to visit to take in the sights of Lake Ontario

Randy Janowicz

This is s small neighborhood sliver of a park abutting lake Ontario. Today, it was very busy and, unfortunately, some tall beer cans and other cans littered the rocks on the shore. Parking enforcement placed tickets on multiple vehicles who were not in the few parking spaces here. The lack if care in depositing trash was disrespectful towards the surrounding homes and other visitors.

Daniel Brabant

Nice little beach. Not much parking (but free).

Jordan Gillespie

Kids got in the water. Wasnt ideal, but they still loved it. Had a pizza picnic uptop after! Best part was the kids hiking and climbing on the rocks!

Richard Hawkins

Peaceful place to read ... Toronto skyline on a clear day over Lake Ontario

Anthony Jackson

Beautiful water, nice and peaceful

Yuriy

Good park, parking is limited to 1 hour and only 5 cars can fit, no bbq allowed, there is a little beach, water is warm enough for sweeming, overall very calm and beautiful park.

Jayson Osmars

Beautiful spot, parking is the worst ever. 4 spots and they get used for neighbourhood visitors. There's lots of room they could have extended street parking to accomodate more visitors. …

Val k

Nice peaceful place to sit with a view of The river.
