One of the nicest short hikes in Niagara. This historic trail follows the old Erie & Ontario narrow gauge railway line from lake Ontario (Niagara on the lake) to the Niagara Escarpment in Queenston.

Terry Proveau

Cool free skating rink. Masks mandatory presently on the rink which is a good practice. Lovely place with a bar that serves hot chocolate too! Outdoor gas fire pits to warm yourself and beautiful grounds to walk around!

Nora Mclellan

Great walking!

Chotto Doji

Gary Zalepa

Great recreational trail along old rail line, allowing you to travel from East West Line into Old Town. Future expansion plans include expanding to Queenston and St David's.

REALLY Windy today! However the sun was out and made the best of it. Stopped in Garden Pillar and Post for dome Baileys and coffees. House buggies called in due to safety, so hopefully tomorrow they will be out.

Pretty trail.

One of the nicest trails I have been in so far. It's alongside the Niagara river bordering US, long paths hugged by tree lines, birds chirping, people out with their dogs who come to you to say hello. It's all very peaceful. Morning time is the best, mid-afternoon/evening time was also ok. Relieve yourself before you come here as there aren't any place to 'go'. Also carry water.

R. Rodriguez

It was a nice clean trail.

Long, flat, and boring. Not the best trail for hiking, however great for biking, dog walking, or other sports.

Heritage trail is a wonderful countryside hiking trail. Great history behind the entire trail and surrounding land. All I can suggest is a trail repair between line 9 and York.

Nicholas Fomes

Tracey Dim

Very disappointed about the plans for the trail. They will be making it look like road not a nature trail. It will be full of bikes in no time.
