He was able to answer all the questions we had and we discovered some interesting facts that i've never heard before about Niagara on the lake. If it's your first time coming to Niagara on the lake, then i highly recommend booking a tour with the company for a night. Had a great time and would do it with a friend again.

Excellent tour of the heritage area, and surrounding buildings. Tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history and legends of the spirits. Stories were told richly and with passion. The only thing I can recommend is maybe walking a bit slower so the older/less able-bodied attendees can enjoy and keep up with the group.

I went on the ghost walk July 4 2020. Sir Lawrence was our guide. He was great! The history he provided about all the locations was quite in depth. We were staying in the Olde Angel Inn overnight already in the General’s Quarters. A nice little walk through the town with an engaging host, telling spooky tales about the different “haunted” locations around town. None of the stories are particularly scary or graphic…but also not really memorable. Overall a very unique and interesting experience! The guide we had (Daniel) was very very knowledgeable about the legends and stories that he told. Took a tour of Niagara on the lake a few days ago! Our tour guide was super informative and was able to answer most questions that were asked. Our tour guide was a great story teller and really made history come alive. If you're interested in the dark history of 19th century upper Canada, are interested in the paranormal, or just looking for a fun date night I would definitely recommend this tour! Would definitely do it again

Went on a tour with these guys and WOW i was impressed! Although i don't believe in Ghosts, Daniel was a wonderful tour guide and was personal. He clearly had a lot of knowledge on Niagara On The Lake's ghost history. They were respectful of businesses and property, and my favorite story was the one about headless man by the lake.

The ghost walk itself was great, but the scheduling was odd. We reserved an 8 oclock tour, but when we got there it turns out everything is first come first serve, we ended up not getting on a tour until the last one of the night, around 930. If thats how its going to be i dont see why you reserve a time when you order

I just took the tour for the third time within a 4 year period. Even though the stories are the same, it's cool to hear the different ways that each guide tells them. The guides are always happy to answer questions and point you to other points of interest in the area, as well as listen to any ghost stories that you would like to tell. From the friendless of the guides, to the beauty of the town, I plan on making this tour something that I can incorporate into my October/Halloween celebrations. Not to mention that on 2 of the 3 tours, I've had some form of an experience that I can't explain. What more could you want from a ghost walk, than to have a ghostly experience?

My experience with the Niagara-on-the-lake ghost tour was nothing short of exceptional. Our overseer & tour guide Daniel was absolutely amazing. I learned a lot and not only was he an absolute joy to listen to, but he was very professional & a great story teller. He also bridged the gap very well between both the history of Niagara & the eerie hauntings that have been documented throughout the years. If you are into both history & tales of ghostly experiences, then I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Niagara region. I also took some photos on the tour that may indicate some paranormal activity, although I am not certain. As a disclaimer, I am not advocating that the photos I took are actual paranormal experiences, but in the photo below you can see what look to be orbs near the tree & in the upstairs window on the left.

My husband and I joined the tour last night while on our honeymoon staying at the Queenslanding. Our tour guide Katrina was beyond amazing and told her stories with so much passion. While the group stopped at the house behind the apothecary we didn't experience any phenomena but later after the tour we decided to return in front of the house rather than across the street to take a selfie and I felt someone tugging my hair and actually yelled it felt so strong ????

Our guide was "Sir Lawrence". He was informative and engaging even my 8 year old was attentive throughout the whole tour. This history was well presented without being overly done (history buffs may want more but this gives you a taste), and tied in nicely to the ghost tales. If you want to get really crazy bring an EMF reader or spirit box (use an ear piece) which just adds to the fun. In addition to local history and legend, you get a great walk out of it. Definitely recommend for families with children 7 and up. It may be a bit long for younger kids. Bring cash for a gratuity, we failed here (COVID no one takes cash anymore) so our deepest apologies to our wonderful guide.

Let me first say that I have always been curious but leery of going on a haunted walk. Primarily, I suppose that I never really knew just what to expect. I was afraid of paying good money for this cheesy experience of just walking around town, led by some weirdo in a goofy period costume telling me boring stories of the town's alleged hauntings while obnoxious people in the group with nothing better to do, ruining any smidgen of fun that might have been experienced. While every place has its own unique history, some locations are host to truly monumental events. Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario falls into this category. The capital city of the area known as Upper Canada, Niagara-on-the-Lake plays an enormous role in our country's history, especially in regards to the War of 1812. It is for this reason (and the fact that John was willing to go with me) that we decided to give this Ghost Walk a try. Unless our guide was totally inept then we would at least hear some interesting history and the area is absolutely gorgeous. It didn't take long for us to realize that, not only was Daniel competent, he was the star of the Walk. He knew every location we stopped at like the back of his hand and told us the history with equal parts drama and comedy. It was only after the tour ended that we found out Daniel Cumerlato is the founding partner of the whole operation. After this experience, I would definitely go on another Ghost Walk. I had a wonderful time and only hope to get another guide as invested in the experience as Daniel.

I am a history buff (or at least I like to think so) and a huge fan of the paranormal. It's no wonder that this tour seemed like it was made for me. I've lived in Niagara Falls my whole life but have never been on a ghost tour or any tour in NOTL. Halloween came around and I was determined to go on a ghost tour rain or moonshine (it drizzled the whole time.) I'm not sure what I expected, I knew it would be good but I wasn't sure how scary it was actually going to be. The tour itself was nothing short of fantastic. Our tour guide was amazing, very knowledgeable, great presenter and seemed very seasoned. Feel free to ask them any questions because they're very helpful. He led us around the town in a very prepared well thought out way (starting with not so scary stories and getting scarier and scarier along the way.) My favourite stories were at corks, the angel inn, bernard shaw theatre and the very disturbing abandoned house. All the stories were great though. Some were very frightening and one even worthy of having a horror movie made about it. You may get the chills from some of the more disturbing ones or you may even have your own strange/paranormal experience (this didn't happen to anyone on our tour but apparently it does.) I learned quite a bit about 1812 history, the history of NOTL and I learned immensely about the paranormal history of NOTL. Worth every penny. I would go on it again for sure.

I love doing Ghost Walks in every historic city I go to. While it doesn't beat my number 1 (London, England), this was an amazing walk. Our guide, Lindsay, had lots of great info and was incredibly engaging. So many cool ghost stories. This infamous house that blurs photos did blur the photos for one girl in our group surprisingly! And it's wasn't just one photo, it was every photo she took! There's plenty of free street parking off Queen St. and our tour lasted just under 2 hours. I highly recommend this Ghost Walk if you've got an open evening and are in the Niagara area.

While we were visiting Niagara On The Lake we decided to go on this ghost walk to get into the Halloween spirit. The 90 minute walk took us to several stops but we found all of the stories were boring and uninteresting. The tour guide was very nice and was really into character but I can honestly say that I was getting bored. We even skipped the last stop and went home early. I've been on other ghost tours before and they were a lot better. It is what it is. Happy Halloween ????

Did the ghost walk with Sir Lawrence on Saturday, May 18. Had a great adventure. Sir Lawrence is a wonderful guide and host. Felt bad for the young man beside him in the gazebo at the lake - scared the xx out of him, but the young man laughed it off after. Would highly recommend it !!!!

We loved our private ghost walk with our kids (ages 5 and 9)! Daniel was so responsive and accommodating to get it scheduled last minute. We wanted a private walk both to have an earlier start time to accommodate our littlest and so we could tone down the violence/scary bits as needed. Our guide Mitchell was phenomenal. He did a tremendous job of tailoring the tour to our kids while keeping it fun, interesting and just the right amount of scary. We found him to be an engaging guide and excellent story-teller. Everyone had a fun night that will be remembered for a long time.

A group of 6 went on the haunted walk last night, most of us were non believers. We were all pleasantly surprised by David's (???) enthusism and professionalism. He was very knowledgable, and had the ability to make all his stories captivating. I should note for all you non believers out there, this tour highlights the colourful history of the area just as much as the paranormal activity. For myself, being a believer David eagerly answered all of my questions. Highly recommend this tour!!!

We went on the ghost walk on Halloween with Sir Bob and thoroughly enjoyed his tour. He kept the crowd on their toes the entire time and enthralled us in his stories of each of he sites we visited. The walk was approximately 1.5 hours and Sir Bob was able to keep us all captivated the entire time. He was professional and personable. It was our first time doing this walk and we would definitely do it again!

My husband and I did the Ghost Walk of NOTL on Friday May 11, 2018. It was a great night weather-wise. We had a group of about 12 or so. Our guide was Duncan. He was great! He had great knowledge of the area, stories of the war of 1812 and history of many buildings. The talks were very interesting mixed with a little humour. He did a wonderful job. He was dressed in period costume with a kerosene lantern, which was a great touch! The walk was about 90 minutes, but with many stops, it would not be too much for those who could not walk too long, plus, Duncan let us know if we want him to walk slowly, he would do that for us. Would do the walk again, it was a beautiful area to see

Was a good time, the tour leader was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and encouraged the group to share their stories and ask questions along the way. Even if you're a skeptic when it comes to ghosts you should come with an open mind because the history lesson on Niagara on the Lake is worth the price of admission. Both the skeptic and lover of paranormal stories will be able to take something away from the experience.

We went on the Halloween Ghost Tour of NOTL & Daniel was our Guide. He was extremely knowledgeable & animated spinning a web of ghost stories of the various locations which took us 1.5 hrs to discover. Street lights flickered adding to the ambiance. I would highly recommend taking this Ghost Walk if you want to take your experience of the lovely NOTL town to the next level.

Had the best time tonight for our ghost walk! I think our guide was named Lindsey. She had a great storytelling voice and was very enthusiastic. She had me totally captivated the entire walk!!! It did rain for most of our tour, but now having done it in the rain, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way! It just added to the "spookiness"! I will definitely return for more!!
