Started off OK, but I got bored. I think it could have been shorter I honestly don't know if it was worth the $20

As someone whose second 'career' as a paranormal investigator with Canada' oldest team The Searcher Group, I must give FULL CREDIT to Kyle and the staff of the Ghost Tours of Niagara for inspiring me over a decade ago to pursue answers in this rather unique field. This tour is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as it is inspirational, informative and eerily entertaining at times. If you have family members dragging their heels concerning the subject of history, take them on this tour and find out how they feel about it, afterward. This tour ought to be on everyone's To Do list when visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake. I guarantee you will not forget your time spent taking this tour. Boo!

Jason Clements

Great tour to learn the history of the fort and also for a bit of a spooky experience touring the fort in the dark.

Sharon Wills

Fun and informative. We loved our tour of Fort George

Marissa N

We had an amazing time! It was spooky, informative and captivating! Our guide Heather had us completely enthralled!!

I have been there 3 times since the early 2000s. Had Kyle many times he was great as a historical story teller, as we walked through the grounds, barracks, magazine, tunnel and more. I encountered the 'little girl' speaking to me to 'come and play'. Saw men pacing near the wooden border around the Fort. Saw a spirit that had a weird skeletal face but would shift into human in one of the barrack buildings windows. He looked angry. He would then turn into dark misty shadows then reform behind the steps leading to the second level and watch the group walk by. The whole night ended with other people telling their own stories of what they saw and heard. I would recommend this to anyone who love history and the paranormal.

Unrelated to your tours but I'd like to share my experience. Couple years ago we had a grade 8 over night trip to fort George. Sleeping inside the barracks that are so claimed to be haunted. That night around 3 in the morning me and my buddy heard the sound of heavy footprints / stomping coming up from down stairs, we at first thought it was a security guard until we realized there was no one there and the guard didn't have access to were we all were sleeping, that brings me to the second encounter of a little girl, throughout the night we heard what we thought to be laughing and what sounded to be someone light/small running around yet when a light was turned on, no one was there. I definitely would suggest people take the tour, the encounters are real, and you may just have one if you are lucky enough

I have been on the tour 3 times now and it is always entertaining.

Blairick Life

From the moment my husband and I walked in, we felt an energy shift on the grounds of Fort George. We talked about our experienced on our Youtube channel: The Blairick Project. Our tour guide was enthusiastic, engaging, and spoke upon the history of the Fort, as well as personal experiences he and other employees encountered. It made for a spooky and entertaining evening! Maybe we’ll just have to go back to explore the tunnel after COVID is over.

This is my second time on the tour and it never disappoints!! The rich history and the stories of the fort are shared brilliantly as you tour the fort by lantern light. A fascinating and unique experience that I highly recommend. We brought friends from Arkansas and they LOVED every minute of the tour with its military stories of those who lived in Niagara years ago.

Just came back from a grade 12 trip on Halloween. Site: Fort George is amazing and the care put into the fort is obvious. Everything is well preserved and as clean as a historical site can be. What stands out is how imposing this place is at night. Guides are clear that this is not a place where people will jump out at you and it is obvious when you go there because there is no need. The entrance to the fort alone sets the tone of your tour. Based on that alone I cannot recommend this place enough but the guides also need some props. Guides: The guides are extremely knowledgeable, we had Heather who was phenomenal. She knew her history and effectively balanced historical information with the story of the resident spirits. While it was my first time on this tour I cannot speak to any other tour guides however Kyle introduced our group to the site and he also seemed awesome. It simply means I will need to go back for another visit. If you are looking for something to do in Niagara on the Lake or class trip ideas, I cannot recommend the Ghost Tours enough. It was an awesome experience and I hope to find myself back soon!

I wish the guides had a speaker of some kind so they could be heard in the crowd. I didn't want to ask the guide to speak louder because projected speaking and singing spread breath droplets farther. We are still in a pandemic. I'm sure the guide's storytelling skills were fine. I just couldn't hear them.

Danny Fast

Kyle is an awesome storyteller! Had a great time being spooked and learning about the turbulent history of the area.

Strange Society (Ray C)

Took the 8:30pm ghost walk with my wife and we learned a lot with the historic site and ghosts that are still in the area. Sir Bob our guide did a great job telling ghost stories and he made us laugh as well. Over all we are glad that we went we had a good time. I would strongly recommend everyone to go and experience the tour and to support .

Remi Caissie

Great story , our family loved it.

Lisa Cornelius

I absolutely loved the Ghost Tour at Fort George!! My second visit and will not be my last. There is just something about touring through the empty Fort by candlelight at twilight . Kyle was an amazing guide and his knowledge of the history and ghostly encounters was outstanding. I always recommend this to friends as it is such a great experience!!

Valerie Huot

The tour guide was really nice and interesting, amazing strory teller. Enghlis is not my first language and I understoud everything. Highly recommend it! ????

Valerie Schulz

Super fun with great stories

Kyle was a fantastic tour guide! Leading up to our private tour he provided consistent and clear communication and answered all my questions. For the tour itself, he was very enthusiastic and an engaging storyteller! We will definitely book another tour in the future!

Deep Kanwar

Amazing tour! Heather was an excellent tour guide for my grade 12 haloween tour. The stories were amazing and the ambience created by her was mindblowing! 10/10 would recommend it to everyone!

June Bremner

Kyle had us mesmerized with his tales and laughing with his humour! A very intriguing and spooky evening! Thank you!

Ang B

I was skeptical at first but wow, it is a SPOOKY haunted town. The facilitator was outfitted in cape, top hat and lantern. He was knowledgeable and told some really great ghost stories! I recommend this ghost Walk!

I went on the tour yesterday and can say it was an enjoyable time. Stories were interesting, architecture of the inner fort was nice, even though it was really just few structures and the tour guide was a funny and engaging fellow. I had believed that stage three of the province reopening would have allowed for more inside exploration of the fort's buildings/tunnels but unfortunately there are still restrictions with that. Foiled again by Corona. Despite that, I still enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. Once I know restrictions have been lifted I plan to hopefully revisit this tour in the future.

Richard Huang

Very fun and entertaining evening with Kyle! We didn’t see any ghosts but learned a ton of interesting history about Niagara and ghosts!

April Durco

Kyle is a master story teller! This was my second time on the ghost tour and although I can't put my finger on it, it was extra creepy! (in a good way of course!). Whether or not you encounter anything paranormal, the tour itself is fantastic.

Brandi Bee

Nice evening walk through Fort George, and I always learn more about individuals from the era than the general fort history. Pretty neat, although I'm not one who ever "feels" or "sees" anything.

Manuel Maniquis

We went one Halloween and were taken a tour of the Fort in the dark. I didn't feel any eerie feeling at all because there's a lot of us in the group. I probably would like it better if there's not too many of us. Great story told us, though.

Mary M.

Came on Halloween last week and had a great time. Our tour guide was engaging and had a sense of humour. She had lots of knowledge about the fort and the history of the area - and did it all despite the wind! Will definitely come back.

Pamela Costa

Kyle was a GREAT guide!!!. His history and stories well well presented, informing and entertaining. He gave us great attention and provided us with an amazing experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone whether you are believer in ghosts or just like history. Fun for all ages. Thanks Kyle for the great time - hope to see you again soon. Pam; Orlando

I’ve been on the ghost tour a couple of times. Each time something ghostly happens. Such a great night out with friends, to learn a bit of history and possibly have a run in with a ghost!

Maiura P

After reading reviews of some people experiencing paranormal activity I decided to attend the tour on Halloween day. Although I didn’t experience any paranormal activity it was definitely a fun and creepy experience. Thank you to our guide Kyle for his amazing storytelling!

Trisha K

Such a great night! Highly recommend.

Marianne Dunn

I have had the pleasure of going on the several tours with the team at Ghost Tours Niagara. Each time is great! Wonderful stories from the guides and support from the security. Can't wait to go back again.

Teresa Holland

Not just ghost stories. Loved learning about the history of NOTL

Gigi Laurent

If I had to choose, the ghost tours at Fort George is more worth it to go than the niagara on the lake ghost tour that tours you around town, I feel like you can kinda do that yourself. The Fort George ghost tour around Halloween time gives you more of that paranormal experience in the dark. The history is great too.

Marg Joyce

Fun evening out! Great stories with knowledgeable guides. The storytelling is wonderful.

Kim Krebsbach

Great tour! Perfect mix of history & spirits. Kyle was a fantastic storyteller. His delivery was such that the hair on the back of my neck was at constant attention. Or maybe it was something (someone) else...........!

Gavin Goodnough

I love the tour so much I want to come back and Kyle u are amazing tour guide

Nina Hardman

This tour is such an amazing experience. I have been on the tour over 10 times now and every time I enjoy it as much as the last. The tour guides are amazing storytellers that help you to feel and understand the past. I look forward to going again in 2017.

M D

Very knowledgeable and entertaining guide . No false or misleading statements about the tour. Some great tales told in the delightfully creepy and imposing atmosphere of the fort. The size of the group and the expertly delivered humour of the guide kept the experience enjoyable for even the most timid in our party. 10/10 would visit again - perhaps on Halloween...
