REVIEWS OF Niagara's Fury IN Niagara Falls

Ken Calvert

Of the 3D/4D movies around Niagara falls this is probably the best one. It's a bit short on time but kids of all ages can enjoy it. There's a bit of an educational experience to it as well.

Ahmed Hassanein

I think it might be fun for younger audiences. The 4d experience could have been way better.

Tomasz P

Short show, but still fun to experience

Antony Bellerive-Cossette

Niagara's Fury is a bit disappointing. First its extremely short and the "effects" are nothing special, mostly wind and fog and the platform shakes a bit. I had better "4D" in Walt Disney World to be honest. If you are on a budget trip I would suggest you to skip this one.

Jessica Rocha

We got a fun pass and went to this as it was part of it. Neat experience but probably would not have gone if we didn't get passes. I was alittle disappointed we purchased a photo of us going over the falls in a barrel and after was told if …

Michael Seflers

This was our groups at least favorite attraction. if you get this as part of the package okay but otherwise I cannot recommend purchasing this by itself. also be advised that you stand during this show. we were told it was a movie so thought it was wise to do after walking around Niagara all day. Basically you watch a 360 cartoon while a little bit of water sprays from the sides. This may have been cool 20 years ago that seems out of place today. I would have rather seen an actual short documentary in a normal setting as opposed to this.

JOE D.

No photographs permitted inside but to me not worth $16 Canadian. It was part of the wonder pass so it was a better deal. It was cool but not that cool. Basically a wrap around cinema that you stand on a moving platform that tries to make you feel like you're flying over the falls a little with a lot of water effects to simulate the falls nothing special to me though. It was neat but that's it.

paul vhayste

Good and fun experience for all ages, featuring a short animated film on how the Falls were formed. The actual platform where people step on afterward is like a gentler 4D/5D/6D "ride" where you'll get wet. Raincoats are provided for free as part of your entrance fee. Wonder Pass access recommended for bigger savings.

Bertrand Wong

Beautiful and magnificent view of the falls, especially when the sun rises up behind the massive mist ????

Danielle Thomas

Nice little adventure. We were fooled at first by the beaver video and thought we'd ended up in some kids thing but the 4D "ride" after the intro video is pretty cool. Don't stand near the edge though. We were glad to be dead center, the people on the sides got literal waves crashing on them. It was very neat. Almost like a hybrid of a boat and a helicopter ride but for super cheap. Great fun at great value.

Romeleth A

Felt like i was a VIP. No other people were there. It was an amazing experiene. The staff was very friendly.

Kristof De Hulsters

This is something you only really want to do when you get the pass for the Hornblower, White Water Walk and Journey Under The Falls. I guess it gives kids a fun way of learning about the history of the falls but for teenagers and adults there is just not too much to it. I would not pay for it as a standalone attraction.

Adrienne Ricard

This was a great learning experience but soooooooo much fun! We walked through the tunnel to where we could see and touch Nigara Falls. It was water everywhere but the view from under the falls is just simply fascinating. The waters power and vanity are symbolic.

Hawk Man

So much nicer and cleaner than the US side.

Michael Berendse

Love the Niagra Falls! Went to Canada to see it from their side. I saw Horseshoe Falls from the Canadian Visitors Center!

Courtney Young

Upfront, I got to see this free at an event. For a free attraction, it was really cool. The cartoon describing how the Falls were made was obviously to keep the attention of children and didn't really focus on the Falls as much h as the annoying cartoon beaver. However, the 4D 350° movie afterwards was pretty cool. There was water effects, snow, fog, rumbles. Really neat cinematography too.if it wasn't free for me though, I don't think I would justify paying for this...

Okay, so I know most people are not a fan of this attraction but I love it. It is a quick, fun attraction. It is expensive but if you get it as part of the attractions pass, you mjght as well try it. The cartoon at the beginning is cute and funny, and the 4D movie after is fun if you try to enjoy it for what it is. Imagine actually being where the movie is and enjoy the scenes.

Greg Christie

This is a great attraction for Kids, but a couple adults will likely find it overrated. Good Imax style views of the falls and descriptions of how the falls were made in a way child would understand and find entertaining. You are given a poncho but unless your standing in the right spot you won't likely need it.

Sarah Vlasak

Got the wonder pass so this was included. Wouldn’t have gone otherwise as this is really only interesting/informational for kids and is otherwise not worth the price. So, don’t buy and go unless you’re already getting the wonder pass. …

Irfaan Meah

This can be made better. Perhaps better story telling and more effects.

sanjiz mathews

Good for one time experience. If you have an adventure pass .The experience can be surely improved but looks like it's gone down instead, first experience with the kids was nice 6 years . It was so great when the water splashed on you it …

Wyl McCully

Not good. They hand you a poncho as you walk in. Starts with a cute cartoon that is just shy of being either informative or entertaining. But close enough. Then comes the dated technology with no narrative, confusing images, and water splashed on you. The ponchos are simply wasted resources. It’s just to keep you dry while they try to keep you interested. Not even worth doing with the adventure pass.

Janelle Wahlstrom

I had no idea what this was and so I was not expecting anything great but it turned out to be pretty cool. Just an awesome movie with really cool effects to make it feel real. It was cool. You do have to stand the whole time. They have six or seven chair in the first room for people who need to use them but kids ended up in a lot of them ha. So be ready for that.

Michele Kane

Fun little 4D theater. They did a really good job with it. My husband and I went and had a good time but I fell this would be a lot more enjoyable if you were a child. It was a good way though to get out of the cold rainy weather though.

Mary A

Lots of fun for the kids and adults. It's a four d theatre and we loved learning about the falls creation. It is amazing we all loved it. No goggles but we got wet and dizzy :). I highly recommend it. We got the 48 hours passes that included the whole bundle not just the fury ticket. It is worth every penny.

Scott Hinkel

Someone should have told us this was for children mainly, it was just really silly for two grown adults. Educational? Meh, kind of I guess but unless you have children 10 and under I wouldn’t bother. It was just…silly.

Ryan Goodwin

Had I not had the wonder pass I would have been disappointed paying for this attraction. The pre-ride video is cute in how it explains the falls creation but the 4D "experience" that follows was lackluster. Take a short walk outside and experience the real thing and save yourself the time and/or money.

Mara Surridge

It looks like it's going to be awesome...but then you walk in, put on a poncho, & watch a 10 minute cartoon about the formation of the falls. Then you move on to the "4D" part - a second room where you stand on a platform in the middle of a …

Um.... not sure what to say about this but yeah.. it was pretty mediocre overall. We went to the show because it was included in the WonderPass bundle. The show starts off with a pretty average animation (looks dated) that somehow explains the creation of Niagara Falls. Not a lot of seatings available and it was kinda boring. The animation is clearly targeted at children as everyone else was bored during the show. We were led to a different room where the "real deal" takes place, after the animation is finally over. It was alright I guess, there's some special effects going on. It was marketed as a 4D show - I mean it kinda is - but don't expect ground-breaking flashy effects. The stage was surrounded by water and mildly shaken 2-3 times during the show to illustrate the melting of glaciers / collapsing of the earth. Since the show was called "Niagara's Fury", we expected a more thrilling experience but it was nothing like that. Everyone had the same "MEH" reaction when the show was over - which pretty much tells you how underwhelming the whole thing is. I guess it will be appealing to families with toddlers under 5. But unless you got the WonderPass package, I'd suggest not wasting time here at all. (well it was pretty short actually so you can totally spend 20 minutes here if you are bored I suppose....)

Victor Hu

Good ideas but bad presentations. The first part of the show is an animation, I found it’s not very friendly for international visitors. There is no caption, no explanations. it’s only available in english, and a lot of audiences are already get bored and distracted after long time of waiting/standing. The second part does not provide enough immersion. The 360 screen is way too high, I am 6’2 tall and I have to look up. Overall, I think it’s worth a visit if you brought the adventure pass, otherwise, I would rather spend my money somewhere else.

Sara Melugin

This was an interesting experience. It wasn't my favorite Niagara attraction, but it was an informative presentation. It came with an attraction package we purchased, otherwise we wouldn't have done it. …

劉鎮豪

It’s pretty awesome, I never saw any waterfall like this...

Philip Beasley

Worth doing if you purchased the Niagara Wonder pass as it is included. If you really want to get the most from the attraction I suggest you stand at the edges. Great attraction if you have youngsters. I don’t think I would have done it …

Darcy Peters

Good if you have kids but if not, I would take a pass as it was a bit lame. I much preferred the intro video before you get into the main theater that talks about the history of the gorge. Note that if you suffer from seizures, this would not be a good ride to try. I didn't see any warnings but there were strong strobe effects to simulate lightning strikes and it was a bit disorienting.

amardeep sahota

The 4D experience probably isn't worth the individual ticket, we went as part of the Niagara Falls Adventure Pass Classic ticket, which includes the Journey Behind the Falls, White Water Walk, Hornblower Niagara Cruise, with the Fury 4D experience. The experience begins with a cartoon which is a little confusing and not as informative as intended. The 4D part had some good effects, there wasn't really a coherent plot or storyline, a lot of random scenes fit together for the ride. Probably more enjoyable for younger children.

Fábio Gomes

A waste of time and money. You don't even get that wet for the parkas. The intro movie is nice.

Rahul Agarwal

Very lame. I was hoping to get a good movie for $15/head explaining some nice things about the falls. This is a 5 minute cartoon just saying glaciers did this. Then there is some sound and water spray. Maybe worth $2 at tops. Not even close to other comparably priced attractions

Steven Lamothe

It sounds cool but it’s actually extremely disappointing for what you pay for. A short animated video followed by drone footage of Niagara Falls with some water splashed around. Avoid this and use the extra money for something else.

Joan Lahr

This was a ridiculous experience, it gave no historical reference, no scientific value. It would be wonderful if they could provide some actual historic footage of the falls and the real scientific history and development of the falls. I am very happy that we did not pay for this individually but only went because it came as part of the package. Do not go to this until they are willing to change it and gives an actual historical information.

Nicole L

Wonderful show. Cute for the kids. Fun and interesting. I get motion sickness and for me it was short enough that I was ok. The platform movement was exciting for all.

Felcha The belcha

*Burp* Breakdown: 10-15 minute animation featuring a beaver, an owl, and a polar bear. 3/5 Afterwards: Standing on a nearly stationary platform, surrounded by an underwhelming video experience, with a cup of water splashed near the front of the "ride" two or 3 times. Don't be fooled by the photos, rain ponchos are not necessary unless you spill your coffee on yourself. 1/5 *burp*

Ciara Rodriguez

The intro is cute though it’s not in 4d. Then you go into a separate room for the special effects. I wish they’d combine the story with the effects for a better experience.

Harold Bruce

Some may think this for the kids, but we enjoyed it none the less. It's fun, its interactive, its informative. The sound system is fantastic. We dis see some smaller children who were scared and needed their parents attention, but only a few most loved it. This is a family event and you will be glad you went.

Bobby Chu

Was sceptical at first but found it quite enjoyable with the effects. Good to learn a bit about how the falls were formed too.

Becca Dabe

Not a huge fan of this attraction. We bought the pass and this was part of it. You are first brought into a room where you watch a cartoon about how Niagra falls was made. Then, you go into another room where you stand on a platform. It moves a little and shakes as you watch a screen that wraps around the whole room after a couple minutes I was over it. Was definitely the least liked attraction in my group. Not worth buying on the side.

Daniel Bordner

Not worth the price unless you got it in one of the packages. They claim it's 4D. I've been to some 4D theaters, this doesn't qualify. The pre show is for kids only. Then the supposed 4D show was nice, just not great. If you got this in one of the packages and have time go for it. If you're paying full price, pass.

S P

Definitely a kids experience. I took my kids on the adventure pass on Niagara Falls. This was the highlight of the trip. A must go to for kids.

Kristina Breitling

We did this attraction because it was included in our tour package and although it was interesting, I wouldn't have paid for it as a stand alone attraction. They provide ponchos for you because you do get a little wet in the 4D experience. …

David Plante

What a delightful experience this was! First of all, it was a bit different than what we had in mind based on the description of the attraction, so here's what to expect: Once you are in the building, you can go off from the main gift shop into a few directions, including the theater where the event takes place. The website does a poor job of indicating this, but the event starts with a roughly 10 minute cartoon, a'la Ice Age, following a cute beaver writing an essay on the falls. The animation follows the creation of the falls, and then the doors open to enter the 4-D experience. The 4-D experience was wonderful, but consider that my wife and I are the types to throw ourselves into the spirit of the thing. If you aren't willing to suspend disbelief, or have a problem that you're holding railings and surrounded by theatrical lights, then this isn't for you. But if you want a wrap-around screen, a moving floor, snow / fog / rain / and mist machines, and a CRAZY amount of water pouring in all around you (along with some very convincing lightning effects), then this is fun! Note: The 4D ride does NOT do a great job chronicling the creation of the falls. It presents a glacier landscape, then melting, storms, and then the present day experience of the falls close up. The visuals do not contain a time-lapse of the terrain eroding away, as the cinematics found in "The Time Machine" do, but it certainly is a thrill. The experience is coupled with a powerful musical score, and you do get to keep your poncho.

Sarah Mason

We were lucky that we didn't pay full price for this experience. It was not worth the money but the 4D theatre part was cool. The initial movie was a little strange and only appealed to younger children. If you have epilepsy do not participate. There are a lot of strobe lights.
