Great experience and well worth doing if you have the time well down at the falls. Best done on a warm sunny day as you will get wet but that's just part of the experience. Reasonably priced extra to add to your family's trip to the falls
Even though it’s been quite a while since last visited the falls, it definitely did not disappoint but rather enhanced the sense of wonder and extraordinary beauty! And after a brief sun shower, a timely rainbow covered the falls. Park at …
Amazing experience of going behind the Falls. Fast lines. Guaranteed to getting wet. Small underground tunnel
Beautiful and historical place. The view it's increíble, and it's building justo beside the falls, you can almost touch the falls. The best place to live the Niagara falls experience. Awesome IT's the word.
CROWDED! Under construction, cramped, hard to maneuver inside to get thru and loooong waits for EVERYTHING. Didn't get to do anything after paying $20 to park other than see the falls because the line to get tickets was so long- it was an hour wait in line to get tickets then hours to wait in line to go on the walk.
I don't think this is amazing. If I had to choose between the journey behind the falls and the cruise up to the falls (Hornblower), I would pick Hornblower, without a doubt. It was cool to go down to the platform, right by the falls, but it wasn't worth the long wait and slightly expensive price tag. The way the information is set up for reading in the tunnels, was difficult because you block the flow of people if you stop to read it. Also, the sections where you can stop behind the falls are pretty cool because you can feel the magnitude of the water, but beyond that, they weren't what I had hoped for.
Overall not bad. seeing the falls from the bottom level is impressive. good photo opportunity. but actually the falls from any perspective are impressive... and u see nothing from the openings in the tunnels with the behind the falls view. That was a disappointment.
The view from the base of the fall is AMAZING!!! The view behind the fall is impressive because you know what it is, but photos don't do it justice. Can't imagine the lines in the summer. Come in the off season!
Entirely worth the small fee and if you can go for the fireworks I highly recommend it. One of the coolest things I've ever experienced.
Very cool. Got to see behind the falls and its self guided so you can linger for as long or as short as you like. Just make sure you have your phone in a waterproof case because you will get soaked!
It’s the beauty in tunnels.. you can sense the heaviness of water and rocks vibrating inside. The tickets are not so expensive.. adult 15 and kids 10 It’s about 30 min time you may take to spend inside and very much worth seeing. The goodness is this event is open in winters as well..
It is a very good experience to see how powerful the waterfall is. It lets you experience the splashes in a closer distance. The tunnel is one direction, easy to follow. Be aware though, it's a bit wet and dark, so for young kids, must be careful. There is a big platform where you can stand literally in front of the Fall, it's a bit cold but the scene is breathtaking, you won't want to miss that. I think, personally, it's better to get on the boat.
so beautiful. a great experience. It's a pity when it comes to the evening so I don't see the grandeur
It's a great attraction but there really is no point in timing the tickets. If you have a noon ticket you can't enter the lineup until noon and then wait for 40 minutes to an hour. It's tight quarters in the tunnels.
Once you enter the tunnel there are a few openings behind the falls where you can take a look but you can't really see much because of the water. The best part is when you go outside the tunnels and get to see the water as it falls off the cliff. Best place to take photos.
It's a lifetime experience one to have. Must witness the elegance and roaring Niagara at the bestest spot you can
We got tickets as part of the combo ticket. The tunnels are small and loud when there are several people inside. There are signs all along with information about the falls, but it is not possible to stop and read them without stopping the flow of pedestrian traffic. One tunnel leads to a 2 level observation deck that brings you fairly close to the bottom edge of the falls, while another tunnel leads you to 2 different locations where you are literally behind the falls. However, you cannot get close to the water (safety issue I presume), and can only see gray water rushing over a mossy opening while waiting for everyone else to take pictures in front of the railing. We will go back, but only during an off-season and time where we can enjoy the signs and a quieter tunnel.
This is Okayish. You do get to go behind the majestic Naigra Falls, but you can't see anything from behind. You just see a shower of water and hear the voice of the fall (which is great) There is an observation deck which is right next to the falls. So if you are interested is getting close to the fall. I would suggest this. Overall, I didn't see this worth the hassel.
You make a small journey down until you reach behind the falls. It's truly a first time experience and I suggest taking the poncho style for this attraction
Really cool to see the falls at a different angle. But in the tunnels to the right, they just looked like fog. Grey and boring. On a clear day it might be a better experience. (Pictures taken from the tunnel to the left, where you can actually see the falls).
After many visits to Niagara Falls this is my first visit to Journey Behind the Falls. It was entirely self guided and the narrow halls make it hard to stop and read the historical placards. The views of the falls are amazing, but the platforms are crammed. It’s worth going to once, but I’ll probably never visit again.
Journey behind the Falls is a hard sell. Some might say its worth it and some not. It is pricey for what you get. You are not missing much by not doing this attraction. Better spend your money on the boat tour where you will get close to the American and Canadian Falls.
I bought adventure classic pass. It's for journey behind, white water walk and whirlpool aero. It's great deal.
A bit pricey for what you get, but overall a good and novel experience. I would go just once during the first visit to Niagara Falls but likely would not return in subsequent visits. If you are on a tight budget, I'd say this is not a must-see attraction.
Absolutely fantastic must happen experience. Feel the energy and power of eternal energy, get recharged and refreshed!
Came through during early winter and we froze! The visitors centre had a merch stall and a food canteen and photography store too. Go inside and up the escalators in the foyer for a great vantage point without the cold. A spectacular CANADA 150 in celebration as well! Great timing with the frosty pictures taken and very safe with constant salting of the paths. FREE entry
Tunnels are a little small and over priced but still this is a must see place. The view from the top and main parking lot area made it worth while, great vacation spot and lots of stuff to do around town.. Rather you visit the Canada side or the US side this is a must see landmark..
It was a cool viewing platform. Due to covid we couldn't go behind the falls I recommend .
The tours are time specific but that's the only potential downside. Staff are organised, polite, professional, personable, and make the venture enjoyable.
Fun fact pictures along the tunnel. People complain that at 2 of the ports u cant see through the water, ugh its because your behind the falls. No brainer right? The section on the side of the falls was cool too. Worth it in my opinion. You can hear the bass in the falls.
This was so much fun. We went on a rainy day so there were absolutely no lines and hardly any people nearby. We were able to see the falls from up top whole social distancing because of the rain and then were able to see everything down …
Great experience. The best part was the look out point just before going into the tunnel underneath the falls. Also i would suggest taking the time to read the history on the walls. That was worth the cost of a ticket right there.
This was such a great experience and a wonder sight to see. Mind you I did see this in the winter, yet it was still as beautiful as anticipated. Some parts of our views were obstructed from the frozen water that encased the tunnel viewpoints but I guess that's what you get for going through this in the winter. I can only imagine how nice it is when the weather is warmer and there isn't any ice obstructing the view. Cant wait to go back and experience this again.
This is a can’t miss attraction. Going behind the falls is cool and interesting but we found the observation deck at the base of the falls to be the best part. It was absolutely amazing being so close.
This is a must do if you are visiting this city. Yes, you can get wet but it is really up to you if you want to venture out. They do supply raincoats so it is not bad at all. Plus, it’s just water! Have fun.
My friends and I visited NF for our spring break and we got the wonder pass to do this must see attraction. You get put in an elevator and go down to a small network of tunnels that take you to 1.) A viewing area at the base of the falls, and 2.) 2 viewing portals that you can get to that let you see the falls from behind the waterfall itself. Since we went up in March one of the portals had a ton of ice build up (see photos) which was a different sight to see than in the warmer months. You can toss coins over the railing (just make sure you check what you toss cause you dont want to toss a loonie or toonie in.
You have to pay something like $25 Canadians to get down. It’s a cool experience but if you don’t have the time I’d rather walk around the rim.
There’s really only one thing to do there but see the falls up close but let’s be real, the view is well worth it. …
Holly molly Biggest waterfall I have ever witnessed in my whole life. 1. Bring something from your home to eat and clean it up after u r done ???? 2. Go for boat ride it’s just 25$. It takes 30 to 45 min On the boat. 3. You can also go for zip line and casino . Have a heart day ahead. ????????
Awesome views of the Niagara Falls. I definitely recommend you visit the Canada side rather than the U.S because it gives you more to do and better views. I enjoyed going down to the tunnels that take you directly behind the waterfalls for a great view right next to the waterfall.
A one of a kind experience to the world's wonder!
I honestly Love Love Love this place. Went in December 2020. Best experience and due the virus not much ppl were there. I would love to return soon. The staff are friendly as well
Great place to feel the power of the falls, and learned a lit along the way. Get to see cool rainbow and just a different view of the falls.
It was impressive to be that close to the falls. There are 2 portals, kind of windows open behind the fall, you can hear the sound of rushing water. The best part was the patio actually. You get very close to the falls but it is hard to stay there long, there is a lot of most coming from the falls.
You're going to get wet... probably. Good value to get an awe inspiring view of Horseshoe Falls - both from beside and from behind the falls
We didn't actually go on the tour but there was a very nice gift shop here and the view was amazing! If it wasn't for all the stupid selfie sticks this would've been one of the best sites in Canada.
Excellent tour. Friendly service. Lines were quick except when your directly behind the falls waiting for everyone to look. Once outside though the view is pretty spectacular.
Don't waste your money to go down behind the falls, you won't see anything, it's a scam! Look at the falls from the top and if you want a great experience take the boat!
Amazing experience! You got to really feel the power behind the falls and take in its full beauty up close. Be prepared to get wet tho, luckily they give you rain coat to help with your clothes but your shoes are gonna get wet for sure!
Great tour and fantastic experience! It's a must-do if you're visiting Niagara.
A must-see location especially for first-time visitors. This allows you to get up close and personal with the iconic Horseshoe falls. Free ponchos are provided to protect you from the powerful mist generated by the falls. Though the site is open most of the time, some of the areas like the lower viewing deck may be inaccessible due to ice deposits. Do take time to read the small facts and trivias on the tunnel walls.
For 21 CAD per person you get a ticket for a specific time. That gives you the right to start getting in line, not to get down. Be warned: You can only see a small part of the queue as waiting for the elevators will continue underground. We waited almost 1 hour without having any idea how long it would take. Once you made it, you will have a nice view of the waterfalls. But it's really not worth the wait or the money. I'd recommend to join one of the Hornblower boats - that is worth every dollar - and enjoy the spectacular view from the table rock for free.
Great way to get up close and personal with the falls, it wasn't too pricey either. The biggest complaint is the wait time, but they can't do much about it, they only have 2 elevators that serve as both up and down to the tunnels.
Very cool. I thought it was way better than the boat and also a better value. There was a lot of people in our group but it didn't feel crowed as we were all milling around the different tunnels and viewing decks.
Not the full experience that you would get in the summer but, still a great view and perspective of these falls.
Good place to visit, must visit at least ones in life.. winter time it’s too cold, but looks beautiful with ice, I wanted to see frozen falls
Its a place where you can closely find a view of Niagara Falls and also Journey of the Tunnel made as well as good to know details about falls history in poster presentation throughout tunnel.
Waited in line for a half hour just to see a cutout of the falls. It was neat to go out next to them but in my opinion not worth the money
Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara Falls Canada is a must see. To see the power behind the actual Niagara Falls right in front of you and the spectacular scenery is something you wouldn't soon forget.
Incredible! Must do if you want to experience Niagara from all possible angles, the power of the falls is felt in a totally different way from here. We bought the tickets online, made it quicker. There's toilettes at the entrance and a gift shop at the exit. You get there through the Welcome Center. The photo they took of us is great and you get a digital copy as well.
I was have great experience with it we can watch Niagara fall really close and we walk under the fall it was a great experience
It is so amazing when you are almost inside Niagara Falls ! It would a better to come here in summer, because there is another lower platform for sightseeing is closed in winter and spring due to the snow. In Journey Behind the Falls, don’t worry that you will get so wet. It is just a little drops yet a lot of fun!!
This was my favorite attraction to view the Falls, I highly recommend it. Just be prepared for a little waiting, but they handle the lines pretty well.
It’s better to visit in the summer. It offers a few cool views of the falls. In addition, there are historic photos that tell the story of the falls. In the winter, the one observation deck is closed.
It was Ok, but not worth the money we payed. Line was long and slow, tunnels were crowded. The only thing that worth mentioning is an observation deck, but I couldn't use my pro camera, because it was to wet and misty. Other than that nothing else to see there. Two windows behind the fall are pretty boring.
Visiting Niagara falls won't be complete until you go here as well. I won't give out details so that you can have your own experience but I will say one thing. You won't regret it!
Look was ok.. because of covid one tunnel was closed so … they also decreased the ticket prices.. but still compare to cruise tour the journey behind the fall was not that much attractive… need more maintenance inside the tunnel… one time watch place
This place is just breathtaking. We came here on late afternoon when light was warm and soft, and it was gorgeous. I highly recommend to stop here even just for a moment. Get here early before the crowd!!
The wait to get down the bottom can be long (longer than you actually spend there) but it is well worth it to get up close and behind the falls. There are a few view points along the way most of which are crowded during the peak times, I'd suggest heading in early in the day before the bigger crowds arrive. It's an amazing view being so close to the falls.
Beautiful and super worth it. You take an elevator going down leading you to tunnels that were built to show you the "inside" of the falls. The observatory on the outside has an amazing view of the falls. Highly recommend going through this attraction if you're visiting the falls.
Wonderful place to visit. Seeing the falls from the other side is amazing. Really fun, cool and watery experience. Don't forget your raincoat.
Overall good experience: Pro: - Unique - different point of view of the falls - reasonable priced Con: - a bit crowded, maybe because of covid time... I think if the crew can do a better job control how many people in one group this experience would be better. - you may need to line up for 25 to 30 mins to the deepest point of the tunnel
The scenic deck is totally worth the time, but waiting on the line for the behind the falls area is not really worth it, I waited for almost an hour and didn’t really see much.
Absolutely amazing experience! Tickets are pricey but was worth the experience. MAKE SURE you have water proof shoes on (like Vessi’s) you will get soaked, your shoes will be drenched, you will look like you took a shower, but you will be super happy.
THE BEST way to see the falls. Right up close and feel and really feel the mist, and truly hear the might of the fall. I was able to grab some of the best, most picturesque shots here. Would definitely recommend this as your 2nd stop after seeing the falls from up top.
Very cool to get this view of the falls. On this day the falls really drenched us. They provide ponchos but they will do nothing if you are wearing pants. I recommend wearing shorts and shoes that can handle puddles and heavy rain. The …
If you want me o truly see the power of the falls, do this tour. We did it in March and it was not crowded. We learned about the movement of the falls and the natural erosion process that brought it to its current location.
Journey behind the falls is a lot of fun. They give you a poncho to wear. After the elevator, there is a tunnel to the right. I would go there first. There are 2 portals tunnels which take you under the falls ( basically see the same thing). You could do just one if there is a long line. Then head back to the outside platform. That's the best and wettest part. It takes you to the side of the falls. It's very windy and wet. Tons of fun. Do that last for the best effect.
Really amazing view of the falls! Definitely one of the best parts of our trip (Though you don't get souvenir ponchos in the winter.)
Nice experience to walk into the moist tunnels inside/behind the Niagara falls. The vibration of the horse shoe is felt as soon as you enter the tunnels. The side view of the falls is amazing!! And the mist and aerosol spray is flat fun experience. Had a great view of the majestic Niagara falls from the side and behind!! Definitely worth the visit..
Seeing and hearing the sound and force of the falls is absolutely astounding!????
Pretty neat. You get a different view obviously. It might not be worth the $40 per person to trek down, as the tour probably takes about 30minutes. In the summer, when its busy, it might get crowded. Went on a weekday afternoon in March, so no lines.
Awesome experience. We were totally amazed by the beauty of the falls.
Going to Niagara and not trying this would be such a vain. Spectacular view either from the tunnels beneath the falls or from the its side. The drops of water from the fall tickling your skin is just priceless.
Great view and great customer service
Took the teens and they found it very fun. You will get wet even with the poncho they give you. Self guided with facts about the falls on the walls. Not entirely sure it's worth c$20 a person though.
Basically a long tunnel with water passing by at the end. Not worth the money you have to pay for. Better look on the falls for free in front of the visitors center. You went down in an elevator can walk a few steps through a tunnel to a terrace with a view similar to the free view from ground floor. Than there is another way through the tunnel to a place behind the fall. But it is behind the fall! You only see water passing by. Nothing special or worse the price that they charge.
The two tunnels extend approximately 46 metres behind the waterfall and allow visitors to view water cascading in front of the open cave entrances. Earlier in the attraction's history visitors were permitted far closer to the portals' edge, however, the ongoing erosion of the gorge itself left these areas with insufficient rock remaining on the sides, and new tunnels were built further back. Barricades now exist further back from the ledge at the end of the tunnels to ensure visitor safety. The observation deck provides a vantage point looking up with the falls to the right, allowing photographers a full view of the famous landmark. The deck is sprayed with water from the cascade so visitors are provided with plastic raincoats prior to their descent.
I liked that experience very much, it is very good, the place is amazing and how the falls look, it was a beautiful experience, the place very good attention, enough tourism, very nice the ride, at some point I will return, for now I'm still traveling and knowing. But all nice, we were a group of friends and the experience was very good, I would like to return in summer next time to be able to ride the boat, this time it was very cold, 29F. Good until next time
Niagara Falls (English: Niagara Falls, French: les Chutes du Niagara, from Indian, which means "water of thunder". Chinese in Canada also called "Ragco") is composed of three in North America The general name of the waterfalls on the Niagara River in the Five Great Lakes Regions, with an average flow of 2,407 cubic meters per second, is the same as the Iguazu Falls and Victoria Falls and is called the world's three major transnational waterfalls. Niagara Falls is famous for its beautiful scenery, huge hydropower capacity and challenging environmental protection projects. It is a very popular tourist attraction [1]. The entire waterfall spans Ontario, Canada and New York State to form the Niagara Canyon in the south. The three waterfalls are Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridalville Falls. Among them, Horseshoe Falls is located on the border of the United States and Canada. All American Falls are located in the United States and separated by Goat Island (New York). The smaller Bridalville Falls is also in the United States, separated from the American Falls by Luna Island.
Had a fantastic time behind the falls. Although it was frozen and some parts could not be accessed it was still a great experience! The staff was very friendly. They do check your bag for things which I thought was odd but ok.
Great views. Tunnel could be improved with a handrail for older ones and people with mobility issues.
Amazing journey behind the falls. You get to walk and observe the gushing niagra falls upclose and can feel its unrelenting force! You can get the tickets to journey behind the falls along with maid of mist and few other activities and they are absolutely worth it.
Fun times. Lots of history posters and cool views. Photos don't do it justice. Just try to plan to go early enough so you don't have to wait.
Must go! I had a baby carrier and used one poncho to cover both of us by stretching it a little bit. However I got an extra poncho from them just in case. Guess, it was a good call!! I wrapped that poncho on him like a 'dhoti'.He had so much fun after that and was still all dry after we came back. Also, if possible go in slippers or bare foot. I parked my shoe in a small side cave before entering! It's a rain dance in there so be prepared ????
You feel the power of the water as it spills over you!
Amazing spot to see the falls and feel the power and beauty of nature MashAllah! ????????It’s overpriced (like almost everything else in Niagara) but worth the visit if you opt for the Niagara Pass bundle. ????????I suggest also to read about the story behind the tunnels and how they used the falls to create energy.
We have been on the Journey Behind the Falls many times, But I will say as much as we loved it in the spring and summer, Winter was Amazing! If given the chance be sure to take the time to experience this attraction, But if possible check it out in the winter months!
The Journey behind the falls is fantastic. We went in December, the lower deck was closed because of the season so our ticket prices were discounted. The tunnels have some interesting literature on the walls and everyone including the staff was super friendly. Wish it wouldn't have started to snow by it didnt take away from the experience. My one complaint is that there's a service for taking picture before you go and after you can pick up a copy but for 35 dollars, thanks but no thanks. They were printed out anyways so to me it was wasteful. I would have taken it for 10, maybe 20 but all in all, loved it.
It was an okay experience. they take you down in an elevator and give you a poncho in case you get wet. But really that’s it. You walk around some tunnels behind the falls and there are three openings where you see the backside of the water fall. I thought there would be a tour or something but one could read signs if you wanted some history. There was one opening that was nice because you can see the falls close up. I wouldn’t say that I would do it again.
Such a beautiful experience. Definitely something to do that's worth while.
After a long lineup we go down an elevator and in to a tunnel to get supper close to the falls! Its really a small place for too many people! During the whole time I can’t stop wondering how so many people will be able to leave during an emergency..... I enjoyed it but its not something I will visit again anytime soon!
Must visit the journey behind the walls and get the pass that gives u access to the butterfly garden and all the attractions around the falls. I would suggest parking near the table that's the best place and then also trying the 3D movie which was an excellent experience I couldn't get any pics because we were not allowed to take our camera but the experience wasn't just like another movie.
Totally worth it to go behind the falls even in the winter! Wasn’t too packed, even for a Friday afternoon. Wouldn’t have paid for the movie if we knew what it really was ahead of time. Definitely not worth it. Not sure how the observation deck area is as it’s closed in the winter. Can’t wait to go back in the summer for a new experience! The wonder pass is a great deal as the incline railway is another fun view of the falls.
This was a really neat way to witness the power of the falls. It also is an attraction where everyone can get a good view (as opposed to the boats, where it’s first come first serve and shove shove shove, with people in the middle getting screwed over). While they do schedule times, it gets pretty backed up but we waited less than an hour to go down. There were three lookout points, two behind the falls and one next to the falls. I’d definitely recommend.
Such a great experience! The sound of the falls travels through the stone into the tunnels. You can feel the power of the falls right above you. Seeing the falls from back side is surreal. When you go to the lower viewing platform you can’t help but be in awe of the majesty. Makes sense why they call it a great wonder of the world!!
Great experience and a must see on visit. Enjoy thundering sounds of fall close by passing through tunnels.
Lovely experience. Haven't been there recently due to Covid-19 but plan on visiting as soon as this pandemic is over.
The journey behind the falls was an amazing experience, it is so spectacular to see the falls up close (the edge of the falls is just about 10ft from the observation area). Due to COVID restrictions, there were only a handful of people at …
Great to see but highly recommend doing guided tour so you can skip the long line. Some people waited 2 hours to spend 15 mins on observation decks.
A great experience to see the falls at an unbelievable perspective. Being at the bottom is really great. Almost doesn't seem real. Definitely recommend.
Amazing views right beside and behind Niagara falls these are pictures I personally photographed
We enjoyed this attraction. The power of the water was amazing. Worth a trip if you like tunnels. You get to be right next to the falls.
If your a fan of water going one way... this is the place to be! You can see water going vertical, horizontal and in your eyes.
This was included in our classic adventure pass. Although we expected to get soaked, the wind was in our favor???? It's pretty amazing to be behind and below the falls, for a different view!
Right out of the bat l, here's a tip. I bought attractions package which has 4 activities. 1. Journey behind the falls. 2. The hornblower (boatride to the falls). 3. Wild water walk. 4. Whirlpool arero car. To get exponential exhilaration, my suggestion is to do the activities in exactly the reverse order. 4, 3, 2, 1. By the time you do no. 1, i.e., journey behind the falls, you would open your mouth, widen your eyes, and let the 6 senses soak in. The 6th sense being your inner consciousness thanking you for being in one of nature's awesome spectacles. Boatride is all but 5 min or less of a stay nesr the falls but chances are you wont be able to see the grandeur because of (1) extreme time limitation (2) lack of view because of lots of people and because of extreme fog generated by the falls. But journey behind the falls is a balcony to the spectacle and no yime limit. Stay there, look at the falls, feel the sprinkles, close your eyes and listen to the roar. I came back with a sense of awe at the nature and made me wonder how tiny we are. We liked it so much that we went in second time the next day by buying just the tickets to the journey and nothing else. The toughest decision you will have to take is....when do you get out? ???? To enjoy this beauty, plan your trip to the T and keep an eye on weather. Mine was Fantastic.
This is a great adventure for families with kids. You actually get to venture down and behind Niagara Falls. There is a bit of walking involved, and the going can be slippery. A brilliant diversion on a hot day, and if it is windy you will …
Great tour! Gives a great view from right under the falls. Really interesting to see. Bring a sweater though ????
Journey behind the falls is great, however your pretty much left to your own devices no audio or guide to explain about it all. There's pictures along the tunnel giving you brief history on the falls, facts etc. The sound and view was powerful, found office staff friendly elevator staff a little antsy once a crowd gathered to exit. Worth the fee amazing to see
Just an amazing experience. Be prepared to get wet when you get to the last part of the journey. Highly recommend it! ????
Good experience to see the bottom of waterfall. Better than the US side due to waterfall in Canada side bigger than US one.
Very cold during the winter! But a totally different experience than summer time. You are limited to inside the caves for safety reasons. But the views of ice and snow around the falls is awesome.
How have I not done this before? I’ve been going to Niagara for 25 years and just finally done it. If you are in the area don’t miss it
This was a pretty incredible experience. The tunnels offer different bits of history and information about the falls. Seeing the falls upclose was amazing. Listening to and watching the power of the water was definitely an experience.
It is an amazing experience seeing the highest flow water falls up close
There is a nice and inexpensive cable car that can bring you from the hotel area tight to this highlight of the Niagara falls visit. It is really worth it to go behind the falls just too experience the power of the water, though you don't see much other than a massive wall of water. They've done a good job setting things up so you don't get very wet.
Neat experience to be able to go behind the falls.... a bit steep of a price for what it is but yolo do it up!
You can see magnificent Naiagara Falls and feel the mist of Fall's water.
This was a great spot to visit for the observation deck. Unfortunately, the two viewing spots were entirely obscured with snow for this time of year. The two pictures I posted are from the deck. I would make this stop again if there wasn't any snow or icy conditions. I'm glad I went, but it was a little disappointing.
Walking next to and behind the falls was really neat. I did this in the winter so it was pretty cold even though the sun was out. The ladies that were working were great. I got a Wego pass so it was quick and easy to get in. Must see!
One in a lifetime experience going behind the Niagara Falls! It’s misty but you won’t get soaking wet. Thanks to there free ponchos they provide.
I have been to Niagara Falls numerous times and wanted to do this tour. Finally got a chance and it did not disappoint. With numerous facts on the wall while venturing through the tunnel and the observation deck at the end my son and I had a great time. Would definitely recommend trying this adventure if you have a chance.
It's another gem in the Canadian side of Niagara falls attractions. Although, it's a bit pricey, it's worth visiting. The lower and upper decks give a very close view of falls. Also, the two portals showing the behind of falls is worth visiting. Interesting history..
What a cool experience!!! We loved every minute of this experience. First, you get to walk through underground tunnels behind the falls, then you get to see the falls (from behind)... Then you can hear, see and feel the full roar of the falls from the observation deck below. Wow!!! We are definitely doing this again.
It was beautiful. The views are spectacular. I just wish it was tour guide lead through. You get info in the elevator on the way down and That's it. But there are plaques on the wall.
I can't believe this view isn't spectacular. While the viewing at the end of the tunnel is a little weird, the sound of the water flowing past us is. The view from the base of the falls is just awe inspiring. Yes, you get a little wet the experience is worth it.
Very cool attraction and can be done quick if you get here early enough. The observation deck is my obvious favorite.
See the falls from below is way more impressive than looking at it from the top, I really recommend doing this trip
Great experience, amazing to see and get photos. Very expensive for a 30 min self guided walk. Unfortunately no family package. $24 per person doesn't seem bad but a family of four comes to $106. Happy we did it but only once for this family
Took us behind the fall. The portals to go behind the falls is not the worth waiting in line since there's no view and all you see and hear is water. However, the observatory (same level as portal) has an amazing view ^_^ it's worth it!
Very interesting to be behind the falls , you have to appreciate the efforts to get you very close to the falls. It is a must to do if you haven’t already....
I actually expected to observe more behind the falls, I guess it is just somehow to dangerous and expensive for a more natural path to see the falls. There are two observation point behind the falls and one from the side. I would recommend visitors to go see the two observation point behind the falls, because the one from the side is far more stunning. It is quite amazing to take such a close look of the falls.
Absolutely astonishing! I was amazed by everything that happened over there!! Being so close to the falls really makes you feel like you are small compared the nature's power wrath. Would do again anyday!
This is such a breath taking sight, Sue and i had wanted to visit the falls for so long and this was the best place to see it from.
An amazing place to see just how majestic the falls are. You will spend some time in line as the tunnels are small and the two viewpoint petals behind the falls are small but well worth it. There are plenty of signs to read in the tunnel …
An absolute must visit when you go to Niagara!! U buy the passes, they click a picture, give you the rain covers ( to protect you from getting wet). The observatory is amazing, experiencing the falls from so close, the massiveness of the falls is just stunning. They keep 2 copies of the photographs ready on your return but one must pay extra for them and the soft copy too. Those are not included in the ticket price
Just incredible to stand so close to Horseshoe Falls! It was nice going behind the Falls as well and feeling the force of the water crashing down. I can't imagine how the poor 7 year old boy that went over the falls and survived felt! It's expensive, but worth it. Prepare to wait in a line to buy a ticket and then wait another hour or 2 to see it. We shopped and also watched Niagaras Fury upstairs while we waited.
Just amazing scenery. You have to see it for yourself. I recommend to come here during the week in order to avoid tourists.
An incredible experience! Tour deep behind the falls and explore tunnels and passageways while hearing the roar of the falls. There are a few viewing points to get a peek outside and then one platform where you can really get up close and personal. Be sure to keep your poncho on (it is wet)! The tunnels are wide but not huge so someone who is very claustrophobic might be uncomfortable. However, most should be okay.
This was an awesome experience and totally recommend you give it a go!
Niagara Falls, Ontario, is a Canadian city at the famous waterfalls of the same name, linked with the U.S. by the Rainbow Bridge. Its site on the Niagara River's western shore overlooks the Horseshoe Falls, the cascades' most expansive section. Elevators take visitors to a lower, wetter vantage point behind the falls. A cliffside park features a promenade alongside 520-ft.-high Skylon Tower with an observation deck.
Tourist trap. Paid $25 a person to walk through a tunnel with 2 windows you couldn't see anything out if 1 because everyone is standing in the way, and 2 because it's all white just water falling down. The one outside deck was alright but nothing better than the free one. Staff are incredibly rude. Overall a waste of money and plastic for the ponchos you don't need. Take the boat ride for $5 more instead!
This was a wonderful place to visit. Seeing the falls from the other side is amazing. You also get up to the side of the falls. Also very beautiful. Walking through the tunnels you hear the force of the falls.
Definitely worth the visit. I live in Mississauga and can’t believe I had never done this before. You really feel the power of the falls when you stand next to it. Money spent well!
For the price (25$/ person) Journey behind the fall is NOT a must according to me. It takes 20 minutes to complete and the view is not that impressive. I thought we had a better view of the fall up on the side walk. I don’t regret doing it but I would not recommend.
Totally worth it. Depending on the day you might have to wait to go into the elevator but once you are under the falls and I the tunnels is really cool. Buy the $25 pass, you can go in the incline twice, you can use the wego bus for 48h and have access to 4 attractions. Totally worth it.
It was nice…waited in line to view the furthest port hole which is technically the same and the first port hole you see. If you’re in a rush and the first port hole is available just go there and click click, snap snap and keep moving. The one to the back is worth the wait since they’re the same thing in my opinion.
Incredible views of the horseshoe fall. The best spot of Niagara Falls by far, where you can feel the power of the water falling but also smell the fall. It is usually super crowded as all other Niagara Falls area spots, but is definitely worth the wait. If I had time to do only one thing in Niagara Falls new area it would be that one
One of the must see attractions, it is recommended to do online booking because the slots get filled very fast. This ia the closest one can get to the falls
It was fun to go behind the falls. Then go out on to the lookout for a different perspective. This is definitely one of the things you should do while in Niagara Falls.
It was great to be essentially right beside the falls! I suggest going early in the morning, there will be more space to take pictures and the mist shouldn't be as strong (depending on the day).
Prohibitively expensive. There are 2 viewports from behind the falls but there is nothing to see except water falling down. There are also several reading panels from place to place to keep you distracted while waiting in line. The main attraction is basically the outdoor lookout from the base of the falls. Although a great experience, it seems like a huge ripoff. It cost over $100 for a family of 4.
We really enjoyed this attraction! There are tunnels that are behind the falls, and you get to see various 'portals' to see the millions of gallons of water flowing over. In addition to this is a viewing area which gets you about as close to the falls on dry land that you can get. From this vantage point, the roar of the falls is amazing! You do get a poncho as it can get very wet there! Highly recommended if you want to 'up close and personal' to the falls and get sea sick like me.
This attraction was pretty cool. The actual behind the falls was just very surreal because at some point you have a sudden realization about the sheer force of water that is barreling down above the tunnel you’re standing in and you wonder how what you’re currently doing is possible. The closeness to the falls is just amazing because of the mist and the view. Would definitely do again.
Spectacular attraction hasn't missing at Niagara Falls !! Seeing the falls differently !! You will never be closer the falls like this place !!
You do get close(r) to the falls. There is some stuff to read. Was kind of crowded when we went (just past noon on Saturday) and I reckon we queued for maybe 25 minutes. Pretty expensive for what you get - probably wouldn't do it again.
If you are doing ONE THING in Niagara Falls you need to get up close and get soaked!!! Go behind the falls!!
20 CAD a person. Kinda cool to see the falls from different angle. Make sure you wear your poncho or you will be wet. I'm glad that I didn't take the cruise, otherwise, my shoes would be soaking wet. You can't really see anything but strong current of water pouring down from the 2 parts where you actually stand behind the falls. Either your option is the cruise or Journey behind the falls, make sure the devices that you use to take pics are either waterproof or water resistant.
Would totally recommend for everyone to do this at least once in their life! The experience is so amazing and allows you to appreciate the falls to a higher extent. Great opportunity for very nice pictures. Can be cold but still worth it if you are dressed warmly.
Really neat being able to go down to the bottom of the falls. Very loud and mist everywhere
What an amazing experience!! You can see and feel the the power of falls. The thunderous roar of the falls is overwhelming. It's the money. Being right behind the falls and directly next to them is incredible. This is yet another way to experience is amazing wonder of the world
This was a pretty long wait and pretty expensive ticket for what basically amounted to .... a closer view of the fall. The tunnels had interesting placards about the history of the falls and the tunnels, but the way is so narrow (and the placards are so worn) you can’t really get a good look at them without getting in the way of everyone else. I guess maybe i was expecting more of a guided tour. Overall, disappointed.
Was here about 13 years ago. Wish I had taken more pictures. Was really great. Dont leave without seeing this hole/doorway behind the falls Definitely a tourist town on both sides of the boarder. …
I enjoyed this tour behind the falls! It's amazing to find out how the tunnels were dug and a neat experience to be able to walk through them! The elevator quickly descends ?125 feet then you are allowed to wander through the well lit, cool tunnels and out to the balconies at your leisure. We went at peak tourist season and there were lines and many people but still enjoyed the attraction!
The portals were interesting, but not a wow. However, the platform outside was amazing. Loved watching the boats coming and going. Plus there was the most amazing rainbow out there! So many pictures.
Absolutely breath-taking experience. Put this on your bucket list. The staff did a great job, as well, both in the attraction and also in the gift shop.
This is an amazing attraction! We choice it because we wanted to see the falls up close. It was definitely a great choice. The elevator takes you down several feet in which you enter a tunnel that lead you to the opening behind the Falls. The views are awesome. You will get wet from the mist , but you get a rain poncho to put on before your adventure- it helps. You are not rushed ,so you can fully enjoy yourself. They offer pictures at the end - which you can purchase or not. It was not to expensive and well worth it.
Journey Behind the Falls offers a unique experience listening to the roar of the Falls from behind. Begin your journey down an elevator from ground level to the tunnel below. The tunnel walls contain plaques with the history of Niagara Falls. Enjoy several the view from the tunnel looking at to the Falls from behind. This is a unique experience. Depending on the direction of the wind, expect to get wet. You will also have the opportunity to view the falls from an outdoor observation deck in which you will get a side-view of the falls. The cost of the trip is a little expensive for the length of the tunnel; however, it is an experience of a lifetime. I would give yourself at least an hour to tour the tunnel and observation decks. It may be business in the summer.
If you're touring the Falls, just go here. It's a different way to experience the falls and it's spectacular.
Amazing experience to go under the falls. I thought it was very educational and we got to take great pictures. Expect your shoes to get wet because there is water running down the stairs to the outside. I thought it was worth the price to do this and bring the kids.
When I was there the platform that brings you close to the falls was closed due to ice and snow. What remains to do is not really that spectacular anymore. The upside of the closed platform was the fact that I did not have to wait in a long queue. I paid and could use the elevator right away.
If you already make it to Niagara falls, I would recommend to find the time and do it, however if you really want to enjoy boat would be the best, but we have not personally done it
Fantastic way to see the falls. Up close and personal. The tunnel has panels for more information about the tunnel and the falls. If you were expecting to see the back, back of the falls... You might be disappointed but at the same time, …
Great way to see falls up close. Holes behind falls not that impressive but platform out near them is cool. It took longer to get back up on elevator than down so a lot time for it. Tunnel information cards should be posted on each side and better lit because it is difficult to read them with throngs of people passing by.
You take a little journey down a tunnel first. When you finally get to the bottom, the lookout behind the falls is kind of quick. Its definitely a one of a kind experience, but there are many other attractions that are much more exciting in this tourist area. I recommend the poncho if you take the journey, your going to get wet.
Really cool!! Loved every minute! (Oh....well elevators are scary to me....but well worth the trip down)!!!
Tunnels are little slippery but it’s an amazing place to visit...sound of falling water is superb!!! Here we can feel fall above us.. I would suggest always carry floaters or slippers otherwise footwear will definitely wet ????????
Best ever experience of Niagra falls. Better view than top and more closeup to the falls.
Worth your time. Beautiful experience best when theres not allot of people.
This place is cool but still ehh. So many better things to see at Niagara Falls. If you're here, why not go though. The tunnels are small and there tends to be a lot of people. You go to 2 opening with water flushing down. Kind of a bore. The part where you actually get wet is straight down the main hall and down the steps. The views there are spectacular!
The Journey Behind the Falls is one of the best ways to experience the full glory of the falls. Being able to take you under ground that they dug out and wander the tunnels. Filled with all sorts of history, a look out balcony right beside the falls, and a spot where you are underneath the water fall it’s self. The price is definitely worth it, and for me, the lines were not bad at all. A must when visiting Niagara!
The most exciting part of niagara falls!! Definitely recommend!
Was truely disappointed. I thought you actually went behind the waterfall not through tunnels in the bedrock. It was a short experience and underwhelming for the price we paid. buying a single copy of the photo they took of us upon entering costs $35 and to add insult to injury they pre print 2 copies of your photos to show you. If you don't purchase them they through them away. What a waste.
Great way to see the falls, its a very enjoyable experience that one should definitely try when visiting Niagra. You’ll be amazed at the sheer beauty of the falls when seeing it from as close as this.
Don’t miss this place to visit it’s awesome place and view too.
Not much things to see, ticket price is quite high too. The only thing to consider before buying tickets is that you can get very close to the strong water downpour of the Horseshoe bend waterfall.
The idea of walking behind the falls is cool but it’s not worth the money. The tunnel walk is short and you don’t actually get to see anything from the two windows! The only enjoyable part is the side view of the waterfalls since you’re very close to the water but definitely not worth the money.
The history in the tunnels is interesting though some of it well known facts. The ending is breathing taking.
Cave of the winds is better in my opinion, but there are very nice views from the deck. The actual portals behind the falls were underwhelming.
Spectacular. The Canadian side of Niagara falls is definitely the one one to see. Get close towards the falls itself and feel the power enormity of the water as it falls over the edge. Wow!
Hard to breathe in the tunnels. Need better ventilation. I'd love to have an audio tour option.
I really enjoyed this. The portals under the waterfall were fascinating, and the observation deck gives the best view of the falls anywhere in my opinion. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is that I found the price a bit high, but it's not exceptionally expensive by Niagara Falls standards.
Such an amazing experience. Everyone should try this at least once during your visit to Niagara Falls, ON
Beautiful view, cost a fortune to bring my family of 6 though.
You don't understand how powerful the falls are till you're this close!
I'd gone to Niagara Falls several times and was interested in taking this excursion. It was such a lovely experience. There's definitely something worthwhile to do.
Astonishing views! No matter how many times I have been here, I'm still amazed by the nature's magnificent work!
You take a lift/elevator down to a tunnel system. There you will find two corridors where you have a view behind the falls. You just see the water "falling" down, but you can feel the tremendous power of the water itself. It's quite impressive. In the tunnel corridor there are also many information boards about the Niagara Falls.
This was pretty cool with some breathtaking views. The worst part of this was waiting in line. It took longer to wait in line then to see the entire attraction. I did think it was pretty cool that they gave you these yellow disposable rain ponchos to wear so you didn’t get wet.
Fantastic experience, you get up close and personal with the falls. The mist flying into your face with the sounds of the falls is a marvelous experience.
It’s a fun experience but it’s also quite pricey to just walk around closer to the falls. You don’t get that wet unless it’s a windy day and you can stay as long as you’d like. The views are spectacular but the two tunnels on the right side don’t offer much of a view.
You actually see behind the waterfall, pretty cool!
Doesn't take long but being able to get behind the falls and read the history was pretty cool.
Although we loved Niagara Falls and recommend it very highly, there was one experience that I have to admit was a little disappointing. I was really looking forward to "Journey Behind the Falls". The observation decks where very good, but the actual "behind the Falls" part was not at all what I expected. I imagined us standing on a platform, holding onto a railing, while the magnificent fury of the Falls cascaded over us. In reality, we stood at a railing 15 feet in from the end of a tiny algae-covered concrete tunnel, where all we could hear was loud white noise, and all we could see was white mist, while tons of other tourists tried to take photos.
Very nice view, horrendous lines. No way you can socially distance here.
I thought the Falls are bigger. But it's a nice view. Canadian side you will see all the Falls. In the winter time also beautiful.
Put up a sign that says we need to go downstairs to the front desk to print off our online passes that say "redeem AT any attraction." We waited 25 mins in line literally second in line, only for the staff to stare at us without lanyards the whole time and THEN told us we needed them once they declined us entry for the Showtime once they opened the gate.
*Burp* Breakdown: Pros - Wonderful close up view. Splish Splash i was taking a bath. Cons - More besides the falls than behind the falls *burp*
The wait was long but it was worth it. You get a great view and get misted on as well. The tunnel was a little sketchy but it had facts on the wall about Niagara falls.
Small attraction of a few tunnels behind the falls. Was really slow when I went a few days ago. No lines no wait was done there in 15 mins or so. Definitely have to do this once if you visit the falls. Located right in the large visitor center building.
A great way to get up close and feel the power of the falls. It was also very educational.
This is literally a journey behind Niagara Falls. It is like being in a cave. Very cool information on the falls and how it came to be. There was a lot of signs with the history of the falls and how it came to be. the walkway is a little narrow and if you are taking pictures, I highly recommend flash. Great views of the falls from the observation deck and a really nice gift shop when you walk out.
It takes quite a while in line to get to the elevator...even with a reserved time. Took about 40 minutes to get down. The portals are ok but the observation decks are spectacular. You will get wet even with the poncho. Line to get back up the elevator goes quickly.
Awesome experience. Purchase the 48 hour pass and you get this, the butterfly house, the movie, floral house and unlimited bus rides/ rail lift. Side note: restaurants and some other places in the area will charge a tourist tax. You can opt out of it, tell them take it off the bill.
Quite a neat attraction but the coolest part if the lookout alongside the falls, not behind them as its just rushing water past an opening. There are two of these openings. Both with long lines and just the view and sound of rushing water close up.
Very long wait to get down to the viewing area. It was very hot in the waiting area. When you buy your tickets they will have you come back at a certain time. Even with this though the line was at least 40 minutes. It was pretty cool to be down at the bottom of the horseshoe falls.
You get up close and personal with the Horse Shoe Falls. The tunnels are not anything special but the viewing desk is co mlm plus worth it. ($42.10 Canadian for 2 adults)
This journey is epic Make sure you get to the clearance where you see the falls from underneath Si majestic and you get to appreciate the majesty of the falls
Amazing view from the viewing deck. First you are taken down a man made shaft in an elevator..where two tunnels would open up right behind the Horse shoe falls.. not much to see there. But there is another opening that takes you out to the viewing deck right beside the falls .Thats quite amazing. They would provide you with yellow rain ponchos which are quite flimsy and doesnt do much to protect you from the spray and may tear as well. While its fun to enjoy getting wet , if you do want to protect your camera gear and other belongings , its recommended to wear your own rain ponchos of good quality( and water proof shoes.).camera and mobiles that are not water resistant will certainly get drenched.Hence best to use water resitant mobiles or put them in transparent waterproof pouches to enable you to capture your moments there. One can easily spend 30 - 45 mins just 'soaking' in the breathtaking panoramic view.
It was extremely fun and you might be able to feel your rushing heartbeat by fear of nature!! I recommend you to wear the poncho, but you can soaked with water if you feel the one on side. You should wear waterproof shoes or sandals if you can because you have several chances to get water inside your shoes...
It's good to do at least once. I'm not so sure about wanting to do this every year. I'd rather spend my money on the Hornblower boat cruise.
One of the best experiences ever! After going through the tunnels to the falls we opted out of the boat ride. The Journey Behind the Falls is as close as it gets to Niagra Fall, youre right in the midst of it. You will get wet though and we went at the cusp of summer so the water was frigid. Not the experience if you've got hair woes.
A unique magical slightly misty experience directly behind one of the most magnificent falls in the world. The experience starts indoors with an illustrated history and old photos. You then take a lift down and walk along about 100-200m to the open part of the experience where you can see the falls drop right next to you. It is very wet so wear very sensible shoes. You'll also have the chance to go down a flight of stairs to get closer. There is a large tunnel which takes you to two spots directly behind the falls where you can see it gush in front of you. Superb and fun experience
It was late February wheb I visited this place. Lower deck was closed because it was covered with snow and ice. The sound which Niagara falls makes gives you an unforgettable experience. If you visit the falls, you should visit here at least once.
Loved this experience... only problem was it felt rushed going through the tunnel ... but the views were amazing
It is an amazing view. To be that close to this huge fall.... Don't miss it if you visit the falls. The view of the river downstream the fall is also wonderful.
Great place to get up close to the falls. You get wet and great photos there
The experience was fun and informative ???? We got drenched by the misty water of the falls but we had fun going through the tunnels, taking photos and videos and learning a little something something about the falls.
Get up close and personal with the power of the falls. The thunderous water is impressive and you feel appropriately small by comparison. If you take photos, your device will get wet!
Nice little trip underground. Only loss of one star because it can be hard to enjoy with the crowd. Some people want to take 5 minutes of selfies while there are hundreds of people waiting. I don't think it's the fault of the establishment, just a fact of life in a tourist attraction.
Great experience and interesting walk behind the falls. Never new this even existed before I got here.
Breathtaking scenery and a wonderful experience. Buy your pass online and save more money. You have the opportunity buy a wonder pass for $25 and you'll have access to three attractions. Journey behind the falls, butterfly conservatory, fury of the falls.
Interesting to see behind the waterfalls. I was expecting more than just a small window to see out of. The lower level of the falls was nice though.
The walk down the tunnels was not the highlight. There are some cool facts along the way way, but you really cant see anything outside the windows down there, just a wall of water. The highlight is definitely the lookout just to the side of the falls. Great views, really a "have to experience it for yourself" location!
Great experience! I had read reviews about long lines so I was concerned especially since we went Labor Day weekend but we got tickets right away. Definitely a worth while experience!! Fascinating and the power of the falls is incredible. One elevator broke so we did have to wait about 20 mins to get out but it was worth it!
The two tunnels that come out behind the falls are kind of pointless imo, but the viewing platform thats half way down the falls is worth the price to get in by itself. If you go I highly suggest waiting til just before sunset so you can get day pics and then wait for it to get dark, because when the falls are lit, its one of the most beautiful places I've been so far.
Included in our package (available at Table Rock Welcome Center) you get to go under and right up to the Falls. Make sure you stay dry and bring a camera!
Overprice and not worth it. There are only rwo small holes where you can see behind the falls. I dont know what the other reviewers are smoking, save your money and go somewhere else. Also they want you to pay for 40 dollars for a photo you dont even want
A little pricey just to go down the elevator to look behind the falls. In and out in 10-15 minutes, very crowded elevator on the way down.
Great tour for people wanting to get up near the falls without taking a boat. Also, the tunnels that show you a view behind the falls give you a great perspective on how powerful the falls actually are.
It was amazing! Can't believe I was so close to the water. The speed and volume of the water increases your heartbeat when you see you up close.
Nice views from next to the falls. There are two look outs from behind the falls as well, but all you're really looking at is a wall of water. We got there before noon and there wasn't much of a wait.
Pretty close to how I remembered it as a kid, although there is a viewing deck just to the side now which is really neat. Loved it.
Not worth the money... it's a simple 10 min walk around a tunnel where you can't really see anything special or amazing... save the insane amount of 25CAD each and just take some nice shots on the boat tour or from above.
Very nice walk but very busy. We went in morning around 11 which is what we booked for but no one ever checked our time or our booking. Beautiful views of the falls. You end up beside them and have a breathtaking view of them. You won’t get too wet, at least we didn’t in the end of July but that could be different depending on the Weather and temperatures. Beautiful.
So cool to walk behind the falls in the damp tunnels with the water roaring. This is the third time I've been to the falls, but first time behind them. Totally different and amazing perspective everyone should get to see. It wasn't too busy when we went and we were able to stay on the view point for quite a while. Hope you don't mind getting wet!
It's a very unique experience. You hey right up next to the falls and the sheer force is crazy. Depending on the day and the amount of wind it can be a very wet day. They do give you panchos so that will definitely help. The tunnels can get chilly so be aware. The day we went it was mid to upper 80deg farenheit but felt much much colder in the tunnel. It was definitely a great experience and would recommend this to anyone.
This was my favorite of the touristy things to do here. You get closer to the falls than the boats do.
Best view of the falls and well worth the money spent. Front row view.
Another great way to see the falls and up close. The tunnel has some interesting info as you walk. The actual openings to be honest you can see much, but you are behind a waterfall. The best views are from the observation deck near the base of the falls.
