The park itself is amazing but the 2 ladies working at the visitor center were not helpful and unfriendly!! It was like we were totally bothering them and we were the only 2 in there. The most unfriendly welcome center we have ever been to. :(

Gros Morne is a must see National Park! We took the "Bon Tour" at Western Brook Park and camped at Berry Hill and would definitely recommend both for an amazing and breathtaking visit!

Sonja Drueke

We received detailed and accurate information about hikes. The recommend hike for overcast and rainy weather was a perfect choice. Very friendly staff.

Matt Perry

The people in this Visitor Center were all fluently bilingual and as all the people we encountered in Newfoundland they were exceedingly friendly. The team made positive recommendations as to alternative sightseeing opportunities in the area as we were forced to cancel our boat excursion due to poor weather conditions. Professional and friendly service from all!

I don't think you could ever spend enough time here. Be careful sightseeing off the main roads, I would recommend driving slow sing there't many pull-offs on the side of the road and the ones that are there aren't very well marked! Otherwise you'll miss some income views!

Arrived at 7:45 after seeing a sign saying they were open until 8. Knocked and had someone open the door saying theyd closed already. I explained I just needed a map but they were still pretty turse and clearly mad to not be closing early. I liked every part of Gros Morne except this. We had only pulled of the main drag because we realised they were still open. Pretty much my only bad experience with a visitor centre to date!

(Translated) Very informative and nice visitor center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Personally, I wanted more information on wildlife viewing, such as where and at what time of the day it is best to observe moose in their natural environment, because the information was very general. But maybe that's better, so that this beautiful NP with its wildlife is not overrun by tourists, like in the US, who care about nothing and nobody but about themselves and their interests ????. Maybe next time we'll be luckier ....

What an AWESOME park! Tablelands is by far my favorite part. Wild and mildly intimidating - worthy of exploring!! This park has a lot to offer and you need a lot of time to explore it fully - spend at least 10 days here to see it fully. The campsite is great - even has wifi :) Food can be an issue since the local stores in Rocky Harbor have limited choices - no real veggies for instance.

Emily Au

The visitor center has all the maps and information you need for your gros morne trip! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the trials and things we wanted to do. Thank you!
