REVIEWS OF World's Largest Axe IN New Brunswick

Q.K. Lawson

Quite the sight in a cute town. A fitting homage to local industry that's worth the short trip off the Trans Canada to see.

SHUBHAM MODI

Its a huge axe. Quiet and evening time is peaceful. The town is also beautiful with less population.

Abhilash Kunnatoor Margabandu

Best axe I've seen in the world, it's so big that humans feel like ants

Ian James

Oh heavenly axe, grace us with your majesty.

Mubarik Ahmad Siddiqui

Nice small place. Good.

Attaul Shahfi

Great place to visit with family. It was a great experience. But it's not mandatory. If you coming from outside NB and planning to stop, it is a good place as it has some benches, and a shed, you can sit and eat your food with family.

SC Peter PANG

Definitely a magnificent piece of art. There are clear signs to bring you there from the Trans Canada Highway. Access in winter is limited, but still an impressive view from a distance.

Rajal J

Great little park. The Axe is fun for taking pictures. The area is beautiful. We went on a weekday in the fall. There were maybe two other people there. It was great! I would recommend it for a picnic.

Sandy KuarSingh

This is exactly what the title says. It's pretty cool to see in person and surprisingly the axe part is actual metal!

Giraf0 AJ

Simply wonderful. I was really surprised of how clean the place was. This place is great to take a walk and relax with its paths along the river. That axe is really huge. I was travelling with my dog, and dogs are accepted in leash.

Nackawic is a very small town in NB and apart from nature, there's almost nothing else to see or do. That being said, ostensibly they have the world's largest axe. Now, I have not personally verified this claim, but I took a picture of it upon my visit =) BTW, the view of the river from this place is quite relaxing. I spent a half hour having a meatball sub and watching the river and the forest beyond. I felt really live and free!

Morgan Deveau

Surprisingly nice. The axe is just a novelty, but the river view and park are worth the few minutes detour from the highway.

Troy Chiasson

What can I say except it is a very huge axe hahaha. For years it was on our to do list and finally got around to the visit after a campground stay in the area. There are a couple of things to do in the area, but this is the definite draw to the area. So if you are passing through, you have to stop by to say you saw it.

Donavan Fortier

Very nice spot to visit along the way to the cottage, clean park and nice views, would have gotten 5 stars if the porta-potties had toilet paper, both of them were out of toilet paper when I stopped by. Also there is a time capsule in the head of the axe which is not mentioned on the plaque.

Joanne Villemaire

Very easy to find off of the hwy! Beautiful park area right on the water!

Paul Gerardi

A monument to the very important logging industry and its people, the World's Largest Axe is neat place to visit. It's tucked away behind a school sports arena, in a park along the river. Easy to get to, nice place to visit and walk around. It's big, but you could easily miss it if you weren't looking for it. Poetically that's pretty much the way of the people and the industry it honors.

Angela Demers

The giant are was awesome. It had a park beside it and a picnic area. Also a beach where you could go swimming. A great spot to spend the day and have a picnic

Teo S

Kind of interesting. Good hiking trail behind it though

Rachel Emery

Bigger than we were expecting! It's easy to find, a few minutes off the highway. Very close to the water. It's a great view. We couldn't get very close to the axe because the path around it was covered in snow and water but we appreciated it from afar.

Robbie Campbell

Very cool place very bright so don't forget to bring your sun glasses. This huge thing is nesseled in a beautiful location in a small town which to our surprise also had some pretty intense lawn mower racing going on!
