Great spot to see the largest tidal pools. Also picnic areas to eat at. Great spot for camping.

No matter what time of day, or height of the tide, I'm always mesmerized by the ever changing view. My heart belongs on Deer Island.

So close to America I almost got covid! The whirlpool is visible from here, and there’s seals around.

Christopher McAdam

Absolutely beautiful my wife and I go a few times a summer

Luce Fortin

Nice small light house at the end of Deer island. Take few minutes to walk on the beach near by before taking the ferry to Campobello us.

Mary Ronald

Fascinating - largest tidal whirlpool in the western hemisphere! Nice campground w/ little store (ice cream!) next to ferry landing for Campobello Island.

Ian Jones

We were there on a foggy day and it was still very cool. Get there two or three hours before high tide (check daily tide tables for Deer Island/Fairhaven). Entrance goes through the campground. The lighthouse is nothing too spectacular but the view of the Sow whirlpool is great, even in the fog!
