REVIEWS OF Cape Jourimain Nature Centre IN New Brunswick

Robert Bourgeois

This is always a great place to visit. There are very nice walking trails, including the beach with extraordinary views of the Confederation Bridge. During Covid-19, some of their facilities are closed, such as the restaurant and interpretive center.

Imran Hafeez

Nice park at the edge of New Brunswick, great beach and wonderful of Confederation Bridge.

Erez Yaron

The view is amazing. Paying for parking, not so much. We did not do a tour, or a hike, but just a bit down the beach.

Kevin P. Siu

If this is your first time seeing the Confederation Bridge, be sure to stop by this little site with the trail on the north side with close up and unobstructed view of the bridge from the New Brunswick side. Best time around sunrise or sunset.

Mithun

Fantastic spot to get a glimpse of the bridge

Megan Difrancescantonio

Must stop! A great place to stretch your legs and enjoy the beautiful views. The staff are friendly and helpful and the washrooms are clean.

Cole Kash

The trails are well maintained and a nice hike after visiting Prince Edward Island. The views are spectacular, and many great photographs can be taken with the confederation Bridge or the lighthouse at the end of the trail that branches off near the parking lot.

Cameron Walker

Nice little place to visit. From the outside perceptive, lovely views. It was closed when I visited, but you could still walk around inside and use the facilities.

Elma Miranda-Mirza

Amazing views of the confederation Bridge. They keep everything clean and well maintained.

Brian Leblanc

The kids always have a blast at this beach. Horseflies were a**holes though.

Charlie Le

Great spot to get a good view of the Confederation bridge. The gift shop was well stock and the location has a nice cafeteria too. There's a few short walks you can do there and ample parking. I believe the parking fee was $2, but nobody was there to collect the money.

Michael Benjamin

Great place to walk around and see the confederation Bridge

K B

Its a great little rest stop, bring bug spray! The mosquitoes ???? are abundant and hungry

Lisa Allen

Always a lovely walk the smell of the ocean and wild flowers this time of year is heavenly

Robyn Crawford

Great spot for a walk and to view the bridge. So beautiful. Bug spray essential!

Megan Winsor

Beautiful and very interesting to see how the ocean has erroded the land

Karl Werner

Great place to learn about the region's plants and view the Confederation Bridge.

Chris Wokral

Great place to explore the shoreline and get some great views of confederation bridge. Bring bug spray — lots of it. And keep moving. Walk out to the lighthouse that’s been beautifully restored.

Rebecca Ke

For whowever wanna visit confederation bridge, Cape Jourimain Nature Centre has the best lookout view. It is on the NB side, the last exit before entering to the toll bridge, so easy to miss. The view is fantastic, especially sunset view. The bridge is amazing, connecting Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. Definitely will be a must-see for road trip!

Domika Clarke

Very nice little spot to stop and view the bridge but make sure to bring some really good bug spray and after bite. The bugs will make it nearly impossible to enjoy the view and take pictures which was my experience.

Ben Mahar

Fun and exciting also a lot of good pokèstops/gyms for pokemon go

G Delaney

Beautiful place to visit. There's nice trails, a beautiful beach, a lookout tower and an information center with a gift shop and a place to get water and food items. Will definitely be visiting again.

Brad MacLeod

Great and interesting spot. Be warned. Buggy for a picnic - mosquitoes.

Bry

Really nice spot to stop and look around. Beautiful view and nice trails and informative displays. Also, if you have kids it's the last pee break on the way to PEI. So that's a 12 minute drive across the water without stopping. Keep that in mind.

Stephanie Morton

Beautiful trails, the closest you can get to the Confederation Bridge without getting on it! Walked to the lighthouse and got to the top of a Viewing Tower, what and incredible view! It was my first time but not my last!

Rachel LeBlanc

It is really beautiful and has a great beach . It is very peaceful and the trails are very well maintained.

Marc Pelletier

Great views of the bridge and the lighthouse.

Jeff Ohlhausen

Great view of the bridge Nice place to have lunch

kamal kishor

It is must stop on your way to or back from PEI. The confederation bridge look so beautiful from the place. On 15-20 minutes of walk there is a light house you could go to. But ensure you are covered as the area is full of mosquitoes.

Alexander Aubé

Beautiful park and trails. Easy hikes with beautiful views of the Confederation bridge and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Hikes are mostly beginner and family friendly!

Esme Clarke

Conservation and nature, can't beat it. Even the bathroom is ecofriendly. Rain water is collected and used for most things. Permaculture with a twist. It does cost $5 currently to park and visit plus many bins are situated around th property for donations. They use donations to keep the place running and available to tourists. Well worth it. Stunning views and good information about the marshlands and tidelands. A bit too much over growth around the paths contributing to quite a few mosquitos.

KS P

Very good spot for s photo of the confederation bridge.

Chad Forbes

More of a light walk loop than a hike. Worth it for the lighthouse and bridge view...nature Centre was exceptional. Loved learning about the birds and history of the area. Unreal sunsets in this area

Brent Percival

They have all the info you'll need to navigate your journey. You won't believe their bathrooms. Just an outhouse hole as this is part of their eco friendly system.

Bubai Lee (Black Lee)

The best place to view the bridge!

Nadeera Liyanage

One have to stop and look at the bridge before getting on it.

Christine Cybulski

Serine, beautiful! There are a few trials and a gift shop.

Kevin Difran

Great place to stop before going to PEI, some nice look out points and a few good trails if you happen to be travelling with a dog.

Roy Parsons

Would have been better without the mosquitoes. Good view of bridge and nice wildlife area.

Nancy Clark

Great place for a walk and viewing the Confederation Bridge.

Wanda Bryks

It was closed when we stopped but still enjoyed the view of the bridge and wildlife. They have paths to the viewing area.

Real Auger

Trails are open but the information center is closed. The porta potties are available but a 5 min walk from the parking.

Frank Wu

a little over-rated here, as I ran into some really annoying things there: mosquitos, lots of them even in the middle of the the day, making it unbearable. Can be related to the season or time, as we arrived there at 2:00PM on Aug 12: it is really hot day there! Or it can be environment-related. Also, due to pandemic, they didn't open the visitor center but only have a mobile toilet in service. The views are, indeed, really impressive though.

Lucky Ambarkar

It's a great spot to get photos of the bridge but TOO MANY MOSQUITOES!!! We couldn't stay out for even one minute!

Kyle Lees

Swimming here in the ocean with the bridge as a backdrop is mythical, also one of the best lighthouses, and a nice raised viewing deck, all very close to one another.

ivydianne

beautiful view but mosquitos are out of control you can't stand still for even 10 seconds..please consider mosquito control in the future

John Neven

Beautiful area to hike and view the confederation bridge

Holly Fisher

Today, the Cape Jourimain Nature Centre featured a Pokémon Go event. There was a 2K egg hatching race, a pokeball hunt, a gym tournament, cake, and active lures all day long. We met a lot of great people and really enjoyed seeing all that the Nature Centre had to offer. They have free wifi, a delicious restaurant, lots of picnic areas, great views, and really interesting exhibits. The view of The Confederation Bridge from the observation tower was spectacular! We really enjoyed our trip and will definitely be back.

Boyd Ross

Trails are in great condition, staff are welcoming and friendly, great views of the bridge, interpretive panels are informative.

Meghan

I’ve been coming here for my entire life and I absolutely love it. They are beautiful trails to walk on to escape the busy city. A beautiful beach to sit on relax and go swimming in. There’s also a gift shop, a little café and a canteen inside, plus a museum. A great spot before heading across the bridge to PEI, or even just for a day trip! One of the top things to do in New Brunswick.
