Small urban park in Chinatown. Good place to rest your feet while the kids run around. Good place to relax while sightseeing. Right in middle of Chinatown so plenty of food and drink within 100 feet. Couple of homeless folks but nothing to be worried about. They were just enjoying the shade as we were.

Empirical example: Being small and fan of Japanese mangas, I was waiting for Renaud-Bray to release the last Dragonball Z a few months and one day, when I entered a shop in this Montreal Chinatown, from there I saw on the wall a playing card but DB version, but not only DBZ: we were in the future Dragon Ball GT! Yo! Too much chill ???? (Original) Nos chèr.es ami.e.s Chinois.e.s-Canadien.nes-Québécois.es ont depuis fort longtemps établi de par la Place de la Paix située au quartier chinois de Montréal un égregore physique et vivant appliquant la Chine au Canada dans ce qu'elle offre de mieux. Le meilleur souvenir que j'ai c'est que lorsqu'on fouille dans certaines de leurs boutiques, on peut, si la chance nous souri, se retrouver avec des gadgets/livres/épopées depuis 10 ans en avance!!! Exemple empirique : Étant petit et fan de mangas Japonais, j'attendais que Renaud-Bray sorte le dernier Dragonball Z aux quelques mois et un jour, en entrant dans une boutique de ce quartier chinois montréalais, de là je vu sur le mur affichée une carte à jouer mais version DB, mais pas seulement DBZ : on était dans l'avenir Dragon Ball GT! This the only legal street spot for skateboard/bmx .Police wont bother you but its filled with mentally sick people and homeless. perfect to get a couple of beers before heading up to the bar.I havent seen seringes on the floor but its definitely dirty.

Place de la Paix is a small, shaded and leafy city park on the lower part of St Lawrence Boulevard in downtown Montreal. Skateboarders love to congregate here to use its steps and open spaces to practice their favorite pastime. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the wrong public square for it.

Wasn't much happening there the day we went, so just parked the car and went to grab some bubble tea and buns at Coco and visited a restaurant called Sugar Marmalade on rue clark in Chinatown Montreal. The noodles soup wasn't that great (broth are bland and spicy), but the desserts were good. The takoyaki are good too (had to order 2nds) and the deep friend fish that looks like mini sausage were ok. The do check the QR code, so bring your vaccination proof and an ID if you plan to visit.
