We have all the opinions of people like you who purchased the services and products of Olympic Stadium (Tourist Attraction) in Montréal-Nord (Canada).
At this moment this business has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is really positive, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we can be pretty sure that the evaluation is very accurate. If people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to write opinions when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction is classified in the category of Stadium.
The olympic stadium was pretty cool to see. didnt get to go in but just walking around it was pretty cool.
Confusing place and security is not friendly
Not the greatest. Couldn’t find where to go inside
The entrance hall to the stadium!
It is the best price for children to learn swinming. And this is the chipest place i can find. I go there once a week. They keep the entire room warm all the time.
A friend and I visited the stadium to watch the USA women's soccer team play against Germany in the World Cup semi-finals. The atmosphere was electric and the venue was impressive. Seating seemed a little better than other sports stadiums I've attended. I didn't try any of the food, so I can't really comment on that. Parking was a close and a decent price as well.
Interesting place, glad they're trying to do stuff with it. 15 minute parking outside of the coffee shop, so we were able to get a peek inside and grab something for the road. Not sure of exact locations for tourist spots (if there are any, that could be the American in me).
Great free place to walk around and soak in the Olympic legacy of 1976.
Great place for kids, but figure only about an hour to tour the habitats. Talking birds if your speak Spanish to them
Love this stadium ....great construction...very neat ....love the view from the top of tower
We went to the montreal tower on the top last weekend …paid 40$ for 2. it is inclined to 45 degrees but you don’t really experience the thrill the way they have designed it. Not worth it . Also, paid extra for the parking !
Definitely disappointing. Too expensive, slow service, not a good view because of dirty windows, reflections and obstructions. No supervision on bad behaviour by other guests. Poor assortment in souvenir shop and way too expensive.
Great iconic building in Montreal that everyone has to visit at least once.
Unique views of Montreal and the ride up was cool. Afterwards, we gave our tickets to a couple sitting outside enjoying time together celebrating one of their birthdays. Hope they enjoyed their day as much as we did!
The Olympic Stadium is still an impressive structure to look at. If you get off at the subway stop Pie-IX, you don't even need to go outside to get to the stadium, the entrance is underground. Great for when the cold is unbearable. Being that it was built in 1976, it definitely shows it's age. Everything inside is just outdated and needs a major overhaul if they want to continue using it. The Montreal Impact play their games here when it's cold outside and although they play indoors here, 1 inch of snow on the roof is enough to cancel the game. Having said that, the stadium holds many different events throughout the year, inside and outside, that's great to check out. Be sure to go up top of the tower! Super easy to get to and the atmosphere created by the soccer fans is fantastic, but this place deserves a facelift.
The taxpayer is probably still paying for it. Looks a bit 70's
I think it’s the largest indoor stadium in Canada and it’s impressive once you get there. Many kinds of entertainment events such as soccer games, exhibition baseball games, concerts, and much more.
Very historic area of Montreal. Stadium still looks as modern now as it did back in 1976 when the games were held here albeit with roof now intact (google the history). Great panoramic views of the City of Montreal from the tower which is accessible through the cable car within the stadium.
Finally went up the tower for the first time. It's an interesting feat of engineering. The view was gorgeous and we spent longer here than we anticipated. The rest of the stadium is looking and feeling pretty dated, surrounded by an endless desert of concrete.
I wish I could watch an expos game here
Not much to see around here. The parking puts a hole in your pocket in addition to the guided tour. All they show was the freely accessible swimming pool and the actua stadium. Wouldnt spend 15$ plus 20$parking just to take a peek of the stadium inside.
Dramatic architecture. We saw this view on our walk from the Metro station to the Montreal Botanic Garden. This Garden is well worth the price of admission. The design and layout are lovely. Plant material is generally healthy and thriving. The grounds are very well maintained.
This is probably one of the largest buildings I've seen in Canada that wasn't a skyscraper. It's fascinating architecture with interesting history that helped put Canada on the map. There's a ring of nation flags, some nations no longer exist, pretty interesting!
Nice too host event but its starting to get old and it shows.
Beautiful place and really bog for eventes like dreamhack????
If you are in Montreal, you don’t want to miss this historic and majestic place. It’s worth visiting for its shear beauty and the places around it. The skyline looks fantastic from the tower.
Easily accessible from pie-ix metro station. Visited for vaccine passport and the process was seamless. Building had clear directions laid out
Very interesting architecture, but the inside of the stadium needs a lot of work and improvement because it looks like it’s falling to pieces.
Still an amazing venue for baseball. Lots of space on the interior but the age of the building is still obvious. Most patrons have to walk up a long way on a path to get into the stadium in some cases. Average food choices.
Amazing skate park
One the most beautiful places in montreal.
Great experience going to the top of the stadium
Park free on the street and walk around the property without any admission charge. If you want to experience more, there are paid attractions. Love the fact that there is Expos merchandise still available for sale.
Amazing place. It is a place with a great history to tell. The only thing that I would like is a tour guide that will tell you all the stories about it, all the insights of a historical place like this. It is definitely a sight that is synonym with sports and the city of Montreal. I would recommend the visit any day if you're into sports and Olympics.
I went there for vaccination QR code and the staff is very friendly
Nice architecture
Cool experience another safe area to visit in Montreal
An architectural feat, a monument, a staple in the city, a symbol, just an amazing construction like no other.
Best view ever!
Nice place and I like it very much. This was built before 1976 Canada Olympic in Montrel, Quebec. Now it is one of the tourist attractions in Montreal. You can have lots of fun and attractions. The Montreal Biodome is here. Football game. …
The course for a marathon looped through the stadium, it was humbling to run through the location that Olympians competed in.
Fantastic set up as always. the one event that the Olympic stadium should host every year (maybe even twice a year)! #MonsterSpectacular #monstertrucks
Spectacular building, largely unappreciated by Montrealers due to its enormous cost and endless delays.
This is the stadium built for the 76 Olympics held in Montreal. There are two tours - the stadium tour and the tower tour. Nice view of Montreal from the top but only on clear weather. I recommend both even if they may be a bit pricey. Visit during the weekdays as on weekends there may be a queue because of groups.
I enjoyed this venue from the outside. There weren't any events during the time of my visit but it was really enjoyable to see the massive stucture in person. I saw it from the plane as I approached the airport during our landing and knew I had to return to see it! There were families walking around the perimeter, tourists talking pictures, and locals jogging. I'm glad I went to see this famous landmark.
Great indoor pool for winter (swimmers note: 50m open on Sundays only). And the stadium has awesome atmosphere for big sporting events. We went to World Cup Women Soccer 2015 !
Awesome place u should go!!! But a lot of trafics end metro entrance lock, not a lot of parking
It was an incredible experience too visit an Olympic park and ho through a wave of emotion that an athlete would have felt during competing over here. Being with family with took the guided tour and the guide was superb in conversing and …
After so many years in Montreal I finally went to the top of the Olympic Stadium and it was a great experience. I was able to go up for free as the price is a quite steep, but the view was really nice and there is a guide up there to tell you about the history and answer questions. Well worth a visit but do yourself a favor and go on a clear day so that the views a clear.
Absolutely worth seeing. The Olympic Games are already a while ago, but the sports facilities are well maintained and still in use.
Magnificent sculpture and art style, safty and confortable. Big parking
I am not a big fan of crowds but it's was nice during the Impact game Hard to park and hard to leave (but it's a given since it's a stadium) Ole ole ole ole.. =)
Very nice complex of activities. I was on my own as a tourist, and I wanted to go up to the observatory, which rises above the city. You can, indeed, see for miles and miles. You can also see downtown, the river, the Olympic Park complex, …
The stadium was set up for baseball when we attended. The seats were good but the field seemed a little rough. Baseballs can take some crazy bounces without being helped by bad places in the carpet. Montreal would line to have baseball back but the city is going to have to make a bigger commitment. Prices for the refreshments were pretty outrageous too.
Impressive and historical space. Sporting events here are hit or miss. Championship soccer was awesome, but when the blue Jays came to town for pre-season it was dull. Roof doesn't open anymore.
Awesome and fun obstacles. If you are not a person that likes to hike uphill, it's not a spot for you.
Great view place
Beautiful piece of architecture!
For a stadium that's used since 1976, it was still kept pretty much okay. The guided tour is okay, at least you'll know the history of the building, as well as its current condition.
A 4.2 star average? Really? Look, I saw the last Expos home game here, sitting directly behind home plate in the fourth row. So I have nothing but good memories and love for baseball in Montreal. …
Always a fun place to go since there are always activities. The construction in the area the past couple of years has made it more difficult to navigate but the indoor parking really helps! The convenience of two metro stops walking distance is fantastic!
iconic stadium
Really cool engineering! We were lucky the day was bright and almost no clouds in the sky, such a view!
I never get tired of seeing the big O
Great place! We went for Covid vaccination
The Olympic stadium is a very tired facility. Flower beds have weeds, the concrete shows wear and tear, rust and paint need updates, as well. However, we still enjoyed the tour and observatory. I'm not sure if it was worth 80$CA, but kids (9&12) loved it so it's a win. We spent 2.5 hours there.
Olympic Stadium[1] (French: Stade olympique) is a multi-purpose stadium in Canada, located at Olympic Park in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district of Montreal. Built in the mid-1970s as the main venue for the 1976 Summer Olympics, it is …
The tower is something to see. While the views aren't out of this world, the unique elevator ride upwards is bizarre. The diagonal lift takes you up to a viewing center with large glass panels. If in the area, definitely consider stopping by
A megastructure with very sci-fi look. The view from the top of La Tour worth every penny. It symbolize the pinnacle of the ambition of the city. The staff was extremely friendly and spoke fluent Mandarin. We really appreciated his effort and welcoming service.
Good place however no cell reception in the garage makes it hard to communicate with someone on above floors.
If you've never been to an Olympic Stadium this is worth seeing!
The stadium is more often than not rented to various organizations for paid exhibitions and events. Going there and attending one of those events gives you a sense of the size of the place which is huge. Several fast food restaurants are on the premises as well as bathrooms. Accessible directly from the PieIX metro station.
This place has a lot of history, but it is absolutely a dump. We sat in the bleachers to take in the most recent Spring Training Blue Jays game, and we might as well have been in another province, given the view (or lack thereof) we had. Strange location for a stadium as it isn't even close to downtown, and the seats feel like they're straight from an elementary school playground. Was nice to visit, but I wouldn't go back.
Stade Olympique. One of the most beautiful architectural building within the city. …
Absolutely love this place! C$ 1.47 billion structure, "the big O" 45 years later is such an impressive place! Go on top of its tower! World's tallest inclined tower at 175 metres (574 ft).
Amazing seeing a real life Olympic building.
Giving it 5-stars because it like the look of it and it's a true Montreal landmark, even though there isn't much too do there. Terrible sound for big events but great view of the city of you go up the tower!
Currently close. Used only for vaccinations for covid. Workers are great. Amazing job.
Nice place to go for events. You also have many indoor sports for training like a swimming pool,. tennis court, badminton, volleyball, gym, etc etc. Also, there is some events outdoor during summer times. However.. I find the stadium to be kinda old...like.. it's gonna fall on you at any moment...sometime, I am afraid to go inside... O_o
Third dose. Lots of room to spread out... Validate your parking then free onsite, or take the metro. Our Big Owe! thanks. Merci.
A stadium which went over budget five times with a roof that couldn’t keep up with nature’s forces. Something that could not stand the test of time even for a music concert so much that people prefer to seek other venues. Foresight ought to come more easily with experience but we make the same mistakes every four years.
The pool is nice and the view from the top is incredible. However, its best feature is how it towers the whole area as a defining landmark. It's a shame the city has such a hard time giving it a clear vocation.
Featival metro metro et Monster spectacular show nice shot
Good stadium. A little cold in winter
What a behemoth structure that still represents Canada’s Olympic achievements to this day, despite being closed due to the pandemic. This iconic building can be often be seen when flying into Montreal and I hope that the photo gives you goosebumps like it did to me. If you would like a licensed copy please contact me.
Love all the installation there.
Cool history which can be learned through the free exhibit. The paid tour gives the same info, but the guide takes you inside to see what this obsolete stadium looks like. Soooo much construction makes it difficult to get to the entrance. Biodome was closed for renovations while we were there.
Stadium looks awesome and the surrounding area is fun to explore and discover things from the 1976 olympics
Great place to visit with a beautiful view of the entire city. The architecture is absolutely stunning and is worth visiting. The building however is a bit empty and besides the view at the top of the tower is a bit boring. Still worth visiting though.
Unfortunately it was closed when I was there but the environment was nice. Also, there is a garden nearby that I recommend visiting.
It's the first time I've come here and I liked it. Excellent! I recommend it to bring children and have a nice time
Nice place to bring your kids. There aren't many homeless person wandering around. The parking, the food and some points of interests are expensive. Pretty much what'd you expect from the Olympic Stadium, its overall a nice place to visit once or twice.
Parking is approximately 20$ per event and is not heated. Quite expensive considering some of the events charge less than 20$ to attend. The building itself is so large that it is very cold. The bathrooms are outdated. That being said, the Big O' is an extremely large venue best for large scale events such as the Montreal Impact soccer team, when the Toronto Blue Jays come to town for an exhibition game or Quebec's largest home show.
Just amazing!!! All the activities that you can do there is just awesome, for exemple the aquatic activity named Witbit was juste perfect and if you don’t want to spend any money I recommend going next to the football stadium where you can find a little trampoline parc. I really recommend to look at the Stade at night it’s really cool!!
A guided tour gives you detailed information. There is a very well kept swimming pool, a stadium, Olympic podium. But we have to walk a lot to reach the entrance. The parking was expensive, $20 but we didn’t want to park on the street as …
Not being in operation, it remains very well preserved, the vaccination center provides an excellent service.
The layout is confusing since the constructions started but the place is still huge and legendary. Lack of restaurants around thought
Lovely place. Must enter the stadium to look around. Beautiful swimming pool where you can swim freely during daytime. 1 day pass is approximately 8.50$. I liked a lot the little museum where they exhibit the history of Olympic games. Please have a look this small but well made museum.
I loved it. It was beautiful from outside. Full of energy.
Famous for being infamous - how not to build a stadium. It has a retractable roof but never used after repeated issues. Way too big to enjoy a ballgame. But hey, it's part of history now so must be experienced at least once.
Great facility! This was an exciting travel for a large group of swimmers from Ontario. These kids will have memories of this team travel that will last a lifetime.
Beautiful place to visit.
Watch out for stalls out of tp, only have 1 roll per, so no backups. Some bathrooms the stalls are clearly visible from the door from the side, so if you're into showing off, there ya go. If not, some stalls are more hidden.
Very nice to get vaccinated there
Great location! Huge and clean! Staff are friendly too!????
Get ready to shed exorbitant rates for the parking, way more than even old Montréal. Plus shed a lot more money for the other “tourist attractions”. And you gotta figure everything of your own. Might be a good place for sports enthusiasts, not sure. With so many other great places to visit in Montréal, this one can be easily skipped.
Great Place at Montreal! Great organisation and easy way to find your place. Also good parking organisation for a decent price. Love it!
If you have the passeport it is worth the visit. Good to know how the stadium is being used after the Olympics. It is a big complex. You can see lots of things around.
The olympic stadium it's a little old but it still does make a pretty good job, the view on the tower is quiet nice
Montreal most iconic trademark good for hosting event
When I first saw the Olympic complex, I was amazed by its originality. I had never expected a stadium being so huge and yet apparently so "fragile" in shape. Being there I understood how supported athletes can be when competing in such an arena devoted to their performances. Fantastic.
Amazing structure, very well used place for swimmers!
Interesting to walk through, but not really a focus for tourism unless you plan to go up the tower. It all seemed a bit empty.
Parking was nearby and very interesting to look around to see the architecture of the historic stadium
While in Montreal, relive the 1976 Olympic Games by visiting the Olympic Stadium and observatory. With either on-sight parking in the underground garage (for $19 CAN, 2018) or satellite parking in other lots within walking distance (pricing varies), the Olympic Stadium offers both guided and self guided tours. Visitors can choose from either a ride up in the funicular to the top of the Observatory for a birds eye view of Montreal and the Olympic Village, a tour of the Stadium, or both (prices vary depending on tour chosen). Once done, don’t forget to visit the exhibit on the making of the 1976 Montreal Olympics and how the city pulled together to make the games a reality. Also, don’t forget to explore the Olympic Aquatic Center to see the Olympic Pool and Diving Well. Overall, a trip to the Olympic Stadium is a delightful experience, especially on a Summer or Fall day, where families can picnic and walk the Olympic Park.
Exterior is iconic & subjectively nice but the interior is dated, seating is not made for anything but baseball, & nothing about it is welcoming; you feel uncomfortable as soon as you walk in. Really enjoyed the Impact game but could easily fit another 10-15,000 supporters if the seating was better.
Awesome Architecture in the heart 9f Montreal to this day in 2021. Impressive !
Be alert! This place has thieves! They put eyes on tour guide. My pouch was zipped open and somebody stealthly took over $5000 which was money for tickets and meals. No enough surveillance cameras, I have to suck it up.
Fannie was awesome informative tour guide! Love this trip back to 1976! André, thank you for reminding me I could post about how wonderful our guided tour was!
The French fries could have been a bit crispier. Overall it was a decent experience. It is the old starship off of startrek. Please use caution when speaking English because you might get punched.
The ride up the tower is nice, good view on the way up and at the top
A rather large venue for most events. Sound quality is generally poor for music events. Sporting events affords large capacity but loses that intimate feeling with the players. Visually stunning but expensive to maintain.
Went up the tower, views were great but couldnt get good pictures because there was a rope in front of each window on one side. The planetarium was a must and it was amazing!
Lovely place to take kids
I purchase the duo ticket for a guided tour of the Stadium and the funiculaire ride to the Tour. Jeff was an excellent guide and proud of what the City has made of this facility. The ride up to the tour was awesome!
Awesome architecture!!
A must visit landmark in Montreal. Just walking around this mammoth invokes nostalgia from a by gone era. There are the Olympic rings you can visit, close to Viau Metro. There's a gym, a massive pool, and an observatory deck which is decent. There's also the planetarium and a movie theatre nearby. Fun for the whole family.
Despite it's not-so-great story of engineering fails, it's use as an observation tower and other functions besides what it was originally built for, this structure is pretty breathtaking and unique. You're graced with a bird's eye view of Montreal city from it's very top (you take a lift to the observation deck up top)
Just as good as it was when the Montreal Expos were here.
Great experience! I highly recommend the stadium Tour!
The Olympic complex is enormous and a work in progress. It is so large, be prepared to walk considerably just to find where the free entrance is and dodge all of the big construction vehicles speeding about. It is not easy to understand what you are seeing but if you enter the public sports center you will quickly get a sense of what everything around you is. Here you will see some of the most beautiful public pools and gyms ever built. I advise signing up for a tour of the facility to learn of it’s history and what it’s being developed for today - I strongly urge visitors to take this wonderful tour.
Got to experience a piece of Montreal Olympic history.
Great place to exercise, however, I believe this gym has a younger target audience. That being said, this gym has "recently" been remodelled (4 years ago) and has modern equipment. The prices are a bit higher than other gyms, but this place is worth it because you can always find a machine available no matter at what hour you go to exercise. I like the views it has from some machines because it inspires me to work out. Therefore I will keep my membership here. I know their target audience is younger people but if they added a daycare or a space for kids to play or do homework while parents work out this gym would be packed. I would be willing to pay for a higher but reasonably priced parent membership.
An architectural marvel when you see it up close. The stadium is being used right now for covid vaccinations but man is it something to behold. The surrounding area has a lot of stuff going on with the Botanical gardens near by, the …
Terrible complicated to get into the building. Nothing practical about they layout. It’s like they tried to make it a maze. Overrated. Expensive. Ugly. Nothing really to do except for go in the ride that takes you to the top of the stadium. I don’t feel it’s even worth a visit.
Just love it. The whole feel of the place and the fantastic pool facility. I also enjoy walking the grounds & taking in the view and architecture.
It such a beautiful place. It’s important to take a tour of the la tour Montreal. The Biodôme is closed for now. It’s so easy to get there as there is a metro that runs through the stadium - Station Viax on the green line
Seem smaller than before. Went to electric car show.
This is an awesome spot to spend a nice day in Montreal. Local tip: go to “First Friday’s” on the first Friday of the month from May-October; it’s the largest food truck event in Canada. Overall, it is a great space to walk around and the Botanical Garden is beautiful.
Nice and historic. Not much to do. There’s a gym and a pool. You can go up the elevator
That thing is HUGE! If you ignore the 40th anniversary stuff, It feels like you entered the year 1976. This is why 76 is more popular. Man, I love the 70s. Can't wait for FIFA's United 2026 for its 50th anniversary.
Stadium was closed so only an outside view was possible, however I can fully recommend the high diving stadium
July 2005
Neat to see & imagine how exciting it must have been to be here during the Olympics... but sad to learn it gets little use.
Outdated building but reminds me of some good souvenirs !
When in Montreal, dedicated a tour (3 hrs) its a huge and amazing structure
The amazing place! Pool is fantastic!
We visited in 2006. As Canucks fans, the banter was on about Roberto Luongo and the Montreal connection. Especially by the host.... …
Beautiful place to go and enjoy with the family a soccer game
This olympic stadium is a great place to be in nice and beautiful caring people a sporty field for people and even dog can come here to stay and play a free world to be and micheal m u are not to decide on dis if u have a nad review no one …
It's always an impressive building... Might need some TLC. A bit far from the pitch... Crows noise does not translate well. Prefer Saputo stadium for soccer game.
Street food is great except the price
One of the best things to do in Montreal is the tower. Two tips though, when riding the furnacular, take the top level. The operator is there and very informative. Secondly, take the stairs down one level at the top. The view is just as good, but there's FAR less people. There's also scale models down there!
Always great to watch baseball at the stadium!
Great place to spend around an hour while visiting Montreal. Tour was fun. Takes you to areas you can't get to without the tour. Go up in the tower for sure though. Great views from the top.
Best night yesterday. Impact won !! Perfect noght , perfect ambiance wonderful experience.
The staff were very helpful, the place is beautiful and very well kept
Just have to say that we visitied there on an off time when they were getting ready for the summer transition and we still had an awesome time. You can walk around for free, but don't! Buy a $7 ticket and go on the escorted tour which includes a tour guide and transportation up to the different venues featured there. We learned a lot and were amazed how everything worked during the 2002 Olympics and how they use the park presently for training. We are definitely coming back for the bobsled ride!!
It's on the verge of being condemned, leaky roofs and dimly lit public spaces. Broken seats and sightlines that weren't meant for the type event I was attending. Bathroom stalls and atmosphere from the 70s. If you are there, it is not by your choice, and entirely the fault of the event organizer.
This place is quite remarkable for its tower's futuristic design and architecture. I'd definitely recommend buying tickets to the tower's observation deck to enjoy amazing views of the city. Some free things you can do while you're here - at the ground level, check out the exhibitions on the most important events and achievements during the Olympic games, and then walk to the viewing platform to see and take pictures of the Olympic pool. Things that cost money - using the pool and sports facilities, access to the Biodome science museum, guided tours of the stadium, and special events. Enjoy!
A little understaffed. Not much help for older alone
Most of my visits to Montreal include a new stop at the Olympic Stadium. It's like visiting old friends, checking if Nadia Comaneci's black and white pictures are still there, if people still remember the great year of the Olympics in Montreal, see if the inclines elevator still gives me the same thrill. A full tour of the complex is also worth the money as the huge covered stadium is something to see. The swimming complex is impressive too. Yes, I highly recommend it!
Architectural expression still relevant to our time. Very futuristic and impressive structure to visit. Though it requires better maintenance, nevertheless it's a great place to visit in a sunny day.
It was open for covid vaccinations. Well runned in and out in less than 1 hour.
Went there for a Covid shot, good directions
The stadium itself is an interesting venue but rather than take the somewhat disappointingly short tour, though the guide was very good, just go for an open swim time or spring event.
I was here for Olympics back in 76 and I was also a gymnast myself at that time, so I had many great memories of viewing le sport in person instead of just watching them on tv ! But i was disappointed to see the downgraded condition in which the outside exterior areas and trashy it is now !!!!! With all the taxes travelers are paying with exhorbitant taxes, city, federal and le hotel surcharges you think those funds would at least keep the upper outdoors grounds clean and weed free. ??!!?? Its the local citizens use for walking, skateboarding, use of grounds for socializing, or just to try and enjoy le view of the city !!!!! ☹️
I visited the pool and sport centet area. The actual building is very nice, but to get there is quite complicated, there is no parking unless you want to pay $20. If you come by metro you still have to walk quite a long distance outside.... fine in the summer, but at night in the dead of winter, not so fine. Once inside the fitness center is very nice and well equiped and there is a nice coffee shop. I go there several times a week to watch my daughter dive, I wanted to do a workout while there in the gradins, where there is LOTS of large empty space. I only take the size of my yoga mat to trained....so I took a amall space in a corner.... I was asked to leave even tough several person were training at the same time as me. You see you have to be a MEMBER of the gym to train there...even if it not inside rhe fitness center....what a shame A SPORT CENTER WHERE YOU CAN T TRAIN!!
This place is absolutely disgusting. We flew to Montreal to watch the Worlds Gymnastics Championship and I'm embarrassed to be a Canadian holding the Worlds here. The place hasn't been up kept in years so the floors are covered in chipped paint. For the few bathrooms there are they are flooded and the tampon disposal is just a paper bag shoved behind the toilet. I've seen better bathrooms at run down check stops. There is no air circulation so you the arean smells like boiled hotdogs and grease leaving you to gag at your seat. The food that they serve at the Olympic stadium is hardly considered food and for the price you pay I recommend eating at McDonalds before you come. You will probably feel better after too. I will not come back to this stadium until something is done about this embarrassing place.
The Olympic Stadium, what can you say, , the Big O, the big zero, the toilet bowl. This well-known Montreal project made a lot of certain families very wealthy. I've been going there since I was a kid and I had a great time every time I went. Hell I'm still going. I know a lot of people think of it as the Big hurt of Montreal. But it's our big hurt and I love it.
