We spent the day here. My kids loved it. We packed a lunch and saved a lot by doing it. The lifeguards are young, but seemed to be paying close attention to all of the areas and we're all very serious.

Magic Mountain near Moncton costs twice as much to get in as the water park at Hartt Island near Fredericton. It felt like we spent too much money on gas to get to Moncton, and the experience at Magic Mountain didn't feel like it was worth the admission charge. :( Hartt Island provides much of the same amenities at half the cost, and we enjoyed it proportionately more! :)

If you are looking for a great day of water fun, this is your spot in Atlantic Canada. The slides are fantastic and the park is well maintained. The staff at times can be a little less then awesome however. Some work on customer service and proper life-guarding techniques and practices would go a long way. They are safe however! You can do a variety of other activities that can be done dry as well. The price can be a little expensive but if you are their for the day you get your moneys worth. be careful on days with poor weather and be clear on the refund policies!

Awesome place. If your from Halifax 100 percent worth a 2 and a half hour drive. Did everything and was there from 10 30 to 6 was great. Kamakazi was actually fun. Completely recommend grst prices for the actual park for the whole day. 5 stars.

Didn't plan on going here but glad we did. The whole family had fun. There were your standard waterslides and more daring ones like the kamikaze. Also had a wave pool, lazy river and waterslides for the kids. I found it a little expensive but in the end worth the time and it was a good end to our vacation.

The Magic Mountain is really fun to come to on a hot summer day!! If you like Sandspit and Shining Waters in PEI, than at Magic Mountain you can get the best of both worlds with more! Update: We were there yesterday and although most of the staff are excellent, there was this one employee that was working the Drop Tower that got mad because my friend and I lowered the safety bar by ourselves. This same employee got mad because when the ride was over we opened the gate ourselves. I dont understand why that was an issue because I myself work at an amusment park, and if I am not at the gate right away I have no problem with the customers letting themselves out. But this particular employee wasnt even polite about it and instead said, "Oh my gosh, you guys need some patience and wait for me to open the exit." But on the bright side all of the other employees were awesome and looked as though they do enjoy their jobs!

Magic Mountain was a lot of fun and something different to do as a family. The water felt great as it was a hot day. We witnessed the life guards deal very quickly and effectively with a situation. It was very reassuring to see the crew prepared to help people. Unfortunately the line ups were very long and it took 1 hour to go down 2 slides. So we just enjoyed the wave pool instead. I had paid for my son's ticket not realizing I didn't need to because of his height. I got a free ticket to use at a later time this season. That was nice but we likely won't be back until next year.

Enjoyed the experience. Fair rates. Lineups a bit long at 3pm but as the day went on towards 7 we didnt have to wait long. Had a great time! Staff friendly. Keep your footware handy. The concrete and asphalt is hot and hard on your feet.

Our first time here and we had a blast! The wave pool was so much fun! There were a couple of water slides just for the little kids to go on, which was perfect for our daughter. We had a beaver tail dessert treat for the first time and it was delicious! It's a must try! You can get food and snacks there as well. Ticket prices is very fair. You can spend the entire day. Pack and bring your own foods and drinks highly recommended. Lots for kids and the big kids to do. My only negative is not enough shaded areas with seating available. It is a lot of heat and sun to be exposed to. Being at the gate for opening time is best. It's quieter no queues and lots of space. By lunch it really starts to fill up and become crowded.

Used to love this place years ago but not anymore, too crowded and over priced at the water part and that was the good part! The rides part was terrible, They had 1 teenager to operate 2-3 rides at a time, so you had to wait, it was ridiculous. I was waiting 15 mins for my 3 year old to go into the tree-house so I just let him in, not like I can't get him myself if I need to.. and I got told off by a kid. I asked for a supervisor and he wouldn't go get one... Kids running the joint! Don't go if you have kids that are small and need to nap etc, waste of time and money.

My neice and nephew came to visit me in Moncton and of course we had to visit Magic Mountain. They had never been there before. One is 6, other is 10. My 13 yr old son came as well. The kids had a great time. I found the park to be super clean, there were lots of staff around, very friendly and helpful and so much to do. My 6 years old nephew was to small to go some of the rides/slides, he loved wave pool. They simple Life jackets for ones who aren't best swimmers. There was plenty for the us to do. After 2:30pm it's a cheaper entery.

Line up for everything mountain, to park your car, to buy your ticket, and that is just the start of it. Apparently they have unlimited capacity at this place, you just have to wait for everything, but wait, if you pay more you get a special tube, and you get to jump the queue making the wait even longer for those that know nothing about this. Scam, but some of the kids had fun, so one star.

Sorry to rain on the parade but I would not recommend going to Magic Mountain until they fix some really frustrating issues. Number 1: Looooooong Lines. Like to stand around for 30 mins or more just to get on a slide? Not me. Number 2: Need More Life Guards at the 3 slide area. They used to have a guard for each ride, now theres only 1 so it takes longer for them to flag the rider then glance around to make sure no one else has gone then get the ok from below to send another. Number 3: Get rid of the rental "Double Tubes". They clog up the Lazy River and give those who pony up the dough the ability to totally cut the 'Wait For A Tube' Line and jump right ahead to the Tube Wait line. I waited for a tube through 5 double tubes in a row before a single tube was available. Number 4: Put some money back into the park. The wave pool is a sight in some areas where the edge you can grab is totally gone and there is just some concrete poorly slapped on it and the pool wall itself has some gouges in it not fixed yet. One of the newer slide rides that is on a metal tower with metal steps has lots of paint missing and rust on the steps. Who the heck uses metal in a water park without plastic coating or something. Number 5: If you want some security for your belongings they got you by the balls. You HAVE to use their special lockers (can't bring and use your own lock) and gouge you $10 and give you back $5 if you return the key. What a scam. In closing, Magic Mountain is no longer a fun park but is instead a tourist trap. Lure you there with promises of lots of slides and rides and fun and instead make you wait around for a second or two of fun and leave you worrying if something might collapse and harm you. I will not pay to go here again and would only grudgingly go if I had a free ticket.

The park needs updating. I have been here only a few times within the past 15years. Not much has changed, the playlist is the same so if you enjoy 90pop songs sober this is the place for you. The green carpet is pretty gross it needs to be updated. I am not sure when the last time they installed a new waterslide but it wouldn't hurt to add a few more of different kinds. The lazy river is very lazy. I have been to other waterparks where there has been obstacles, waterfalls, and "pools" in their lazy rivers makes it more fun. There should be double tubes available just likr the single tubes at the places that use tubes but instead i have to keep an eye on my rental tube so no one takes it (it does get taken). I also just wanted to sit and not go on any slides as i was injured and just supervise my son but to do so I had to pay full admission.

Water park has not been upgrated since 15 years+++.. oh and the so called fun zone only a few rides were for my girl and one needed socks and of course did not have as it was 30 degrees out side...what a crock of ..... and for the arcades lol hahahah most of them were out of order and all old....now for the golf course hahahah most lights were tape with black tape to keep them attached... I mean really Upgrade and fixe it or just CLOSE!!!!! I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK If there were a choice to have no stars i will definitely had chosen it.

This water park is outdoors so make sure to visit in a nice warm day. I don't think the water is heated or thermo regulated, but there is a small pool which is. There are a good selection of slides that you can choose from but it can get really crowded that you need to wait in a very long queu. Try the Kamikaze for a crazy slide, the wave pool or just relax in the Lazy River. They have a snack bar that serves Pizza and chips, Beaver Tails, and a souvenir shops. Drop by the Magnetic Hill Zoo which is located just across the water park. It would be nice to do this before taking the plunge in the pools.

This is a well known and good water park. It has a variety of rides that are for the whole family. There is something for most people here, but don't expect giant slides or big thrills. Still great for a hot afternoon. There is also the fun zone next door if you are looking for smaller and dryer rides for children. Overall this isn't the biggest or best water park in the world. But you can't find better anywhere nearby.

First waterpark I was ever to, and I had a blast! I didn't go down all of the slides (too chicken), but the few I did go down were great! I would highly recommend so much sunscreen. I know that's difficult because of how much you'll likely be in the water, but I got sun stroke quite severely and it made the night and next day fairly miserable to say the least. I honestly and truely think you should have a slightly longer warning time on the wave pool when changing from calm to wavy. My family split up more than once and I often spent time in the wave pool without anybody knowing where I was, and 2 different wave cycles I got caught on the deep end with the waves throwing me around and thought for sure I wouldn't make it out alive lmao. The FunZone is fun but definitely doesn't have as much as I feel it should, for the amount of money you pay for the bracelets! The overall trip was great and I definitely look forward to going back!

The best vacation our family has ever had. The weather was kind of off but the staff was still working hard and friendly to the guests. You must visit magic mountain if you're staying in Moncton. Our family had a blast here! The staff here were super friendly. Everything was well maintained and clean. Managed to find our way here on a day that called for heavy rainfall. Took my grandson and he had a ball. We went in August so we found some of the lines weren’t to long. Food is a bit expensive but I expected that so we left and went elsewhere to eat and came back. The whole Magic Mountain amusement park was fun, clean, well run and worth it for the cost. We did the family of 4 package for all 4 zones. Splash park was amazing all day long. Lines were reasonable until mid afternoon then they got a bit longer. We did rides in the evening and then the arcade after that. We used our golf passes the next day so we really had 2 days of fun for the 1 day entrance.

Only 8 rides and you have to pay for certain tubes. We had to wait 1 hour because they were out of tubes. The lines are too long because the lifegards are waiting for the person to be out of the water and they have to get an OK signal from their colleague... to let another person slide. So it takes about 2 to 3 minutes for a person to slide, you easilly wait 30 minutes for every ride. I enjoy the slides but nothing too crazy. Basically, if you wanna go, just be patient and you'll we enjoy your day!

Did the waterpark, amusement rides, arcade and miniputt (4zone pack) eith a 3 yr old and 5.5yr old. Perfect package for the 5.5yr old. Waterpark is great for everyone but the amusement park is not so great for the 3 yr old or any child under 36". I really look forward to returning next year when my 3 yr old will be taller and can enjoy the package more. All the facilities were really clean and well kept. Staff was good about keeping order and enforcing safely while also allowing families to enjoy themselves.

Very high prices, slides are not well maintained considering the astronomical prices, and the joints are off-level and can hurt some people. A 5 year old child pays $7 less than an adult and can only go on the baby slides. I was very disappointed to be honest. It was supposed to be the highlight of the trip and it was horrible.

I've been here lots throughout my childhood, it's a pretty fun way to spend an afternoon but probably not the entire day. Lots of the old ride from Crystal palace are here now in a new area they call the "fun zone" we didn't end up going on any of the rides (their mostly for children) but I would've really liked to go on the spinning swings. We intended on playing mini golf but we figured we'd wait until the crowd died down, but it didn't. The mini golf looks very refurbished and clean, alot better than a few years ago. The wave pool wasn't operating but was still open which I was kind of disappointed about but sometimes things need to be fixed, not a big deal. The lines weren't too bad, had to wait a little but I've seen worse. Slides are fun and staff was very nice. I just wish they had enough money to maybe install some more slides or some larger ones, just to maybe lighten the lines for some of the other attractions. All in all it was a good day.

We actually visited the mini golf. I still remember when it opened years ago, I was a teenager and we used to go at least 1 or twice a week, we didnt have very much back then to entertain us but anyway, it was so beautiful and detailed and high standards. I brought my children this week and had read that the review said the place was not nice and run down and went on and on about everything wrong with the mini golf and I'm gonna have to agree with that review. I was very disappointed to see how run down it was, the trees haven't been trimmed in years as some places we had to bend over to get by. The water features were either dried out or not working properly, the houses haven't gotten painted in years, obviously, the greens were torn apart, big puddles of water in the green, lots if light not working and dirty. So avoid mini golf.☹

Rated this 5 stars because I look at it through my kids eyes. I find the choice of activities somewhat limited, not a whole lot of water slides. That being said, most of the slides are fun and the wave pool is a great place to cool off. This place is awesome although being small scale theme park. We had a blast here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended to stop by if you're passing by Moncton New Brunswick. The staff are friendly and they have a lot of life guards at the splash zone. Family friendly. Although they can improve the rental on the rafts with time limit instead of full day rental that guests tends to abuse and not returning them at all until end of day. The bumper boat is so much! Slides are awesome. Kamikaze is the slide to try! The view is breath-taking at most times. Go to the top of the hill and you will see the great view of the park.

Came here as a teen and now bringing my family... Never disappoints always have a full day of adventure and fun no matter if it's a full sun day or rainy. Slides and lazy river our favorites. Staff are always friendly and keeping things clean. If your family enjoys water, this is a must for a family vacation.

Magic mountain is a worthy outdoor family entertainment centre during summer months. There is water sport called splash zone, a dozen rides at Fun zone, computer games at Tek zone and playful golf zone. Splash zone is a wonderful place for toddlers, infants and of every age looking for daylong fun. The fun zone rides are, ofcourse, not comparable to Disney parks but then supplement the amusement for a daylong family outing. However refreshment stalls are a huge disappointment and are limited to soft drinks, couple of ice creams and pizza. You can't get even a cup of coffee, let alone wholesome meal. But then there is plenty of seating with outdoor tables are available to have your own food. There is also a Zoo of limited proportion next to it. However going around if the temperature hovers over 20 degrees isn't much fun. All said and done a wonderful place for family.

Good facilities. A little light on slides.makes the lines too long. Just think about this for one minute LOL you're at a water park with lots of females lots of young kids and you name your pizza joint Uncle peekys....lol....made me laugh all day..... great spot to spend the weekend. Zoo and water park. Good fun.....not real cheap but worth the drive from Halifax.

Great place for family fun. A little pricy for what you get. Hasn't been updated in years. Also should be an option to use slides or not. $30 to use the wave pool and lazy river is a little bit much.

It's a very relaxing time each time I visit Magic Mountain. Lots of water activities for all ages. Plenty of space for everyone..you never feel crowded..even on their busiest days Lounging is great here if you want to get sun Lots of food vendors. It's a place I always return to and recommend this huge water park to anyone

Our son had a wonderful first experience here! We were a tad disappointed though to find out when my nephew couldnt make it to the park with us we couldn't 'gift' the ticket to someone who hadn't yet purchased a ticket. The front clerk was young and rude when we told her that we wanted to 'pay it forward'

Just don't cancel. We booked ahead of time checked to make sure weather was going to be decent. the weather was going to be nice and warm then it changed and turned out to be cold and rainy through our whole trip. I have a 2 yr old. Wouldn't have been any fun for her if we had gone. When I called and asked if I could exchange for another day in the season they wouldn't let me and kept my money. It was about $100 for us, and wouldn't offer a refund either. Wasn't looking for a refund just to switch to a different day. Chance ya take when booking ahead of time I guess ????‍♀️

Great ride , nice clean place , pizza and all round family fun. Kids of all ages and their parents can enjoy the park. Best rides hands down are the kamikaze and torpedo. Wave pool was very decent too. An absolute must do if you are in Moncton.

This place is a total money grab..Not worth the money. First, Don't bring any extra people because even your elderly mother will have to pay full price just to observe. The prices are crazy considering they haven't upgraded in years if ever. HORRIBLE wait times, we waited over an hour for ONE slide. After this we were so discouraged that we left. Gave the funzone a shot, which was even worse. They charge a fortune just to ride one (out of 5) of their outdated recycled rides. The arcade games last for about 2 seconds and it's done.. All of the employees are a bunch of middle school kids, They were very mature and Overall dont treat theit guests very wrll. We were very disappointed and will not be returning.

You can bring your dog. The kennels were designed by someone smart. Lots of shade water and very clean and free. There is plenty of shade for families and fun for hours.

Very disappointed. Just moved here from BC, Bought a 4zone package off of someone that was missing splashzone (obviously unaware) last day splashzone is open for 2019 and the manager would not help us at all with discounted tickets or anything . Yes my fault for buying second hand totally understand that but being last day I figured they would have given us some sort of deal, it's not like they can lose money. 3 very sad children. Fun zone is very small child based. Not good for anyone over 8. Expected a bit more empathy from a cash cow company.
