Love this place we go down there with the whole family there is something for everyone. Bike riding basketball ???? playground for toddlers n paths to walk as well
Nice family friendly place in Port Credit.
Very lively when Canada day is coming. I love the rib fest and a little amusement rides for the kids(that was during before the pandemic).
Nice park, easy access, good for evening walk.
Beautiful park beside the Credit River
Nice place to end a a weekend evening. Liked the place very much. Very convenient place to visit and hangout place near all eateries.
Nice place to see the river connecting the lake. Njoy the scene and the silence. Peaceful walk around the river bay.
The playground is fantastic for kids with rubberized asphalt keeping it safe and clean. A stroll along the river is always very relaxing as well and you can always see numerous waterfowl. One of our favourite parks in Mississauga.
Nice scenic place to walk, fish or take part in one of the many events that happen throughout the year. Also great for kids.
Nice park. Always a go to place for a leisure walk.
Regularly visit this place on the weekends for walking and jogging
Lovely gardens, nice kids play area, scenic waterfront closeby
Beautiful place.. You can watch your kids play and just relax. The scenery is amazing.
Quite serene park by the waterfront.. Mississauga's first light & ice sculpture Winterfest 2021 has been held here and must say it's lovely. Beautiful sculptures with sparkling lights give a happy happy Christmas vibe.. stroller accessible and had free entry.
An amazing community on the water. Wildlife, families canoeing, fishermen at the shore, and competitive crews and learners of the sports from Miisiisauga Canoe Club and Don Rowing Club sharing the river.
Nice place to hangout. Family friendly. Walkable distance from three parks.
Very popular place to go for a walk see the water ,birds ???? wildlife etc take my dogs here all the time
Hidden gem in the middle of the city. Such a relaxing place.
The place looks beautiful but some of the people asked why am I using a mask, like in these area doesn't exist Covid???
Beautiful park in the city. Lots of nice events in the summer, fun for families, fun for couples, and fun for dogs. Also, great if you're into Pokemon Go!
The park is large and pleasant to walk in. It is enjoyable to ride there if you have a bicycle. There is also a playground for children toenjoy (which is usually crowded in the summer and spring ????). There is also an ice cream truck nearby. There could be some events going on there.
I love this place .. take the kids and enjoy walking , playing & beautiful sceneries ..
Was pretty a good experience overall, there wasn't too many people there, just the occasional couple dog walkers
Amazing park. Has everything your young kids will want and even the big kids with basketball courts. And ice cream for parents
Always nice to visit the boardwalk by the Lighthouse. Great atmosphere with many surrounding places to visit.
Nice place to spend your evening. Great place for kids, couples and for family picnic. Short walk along with river and beautiful place for sunset lovers.
Ideal park setting for all peoples...
Great idea - music in the park by Littlepeterand elephants band
It's a nice place to hang out with the family. We took the kids to go fishing for fun not to keep anything, they did enjoy themselves it's just disappointing that people don't take care of the area and leave their garbage and containers lying around and itgets into the water. T lots of picture opportunities with the ducks swimming in the water.
Lovely spot to spend evenings of weekend :)
Beautiful park with outdoor bbqs. Perfect for family functions. There is also a splash pad and playground for the kids. There is also a basketball court and a huge field. wonderful garden with a lot of cement chairs and tables for elders to have a small picnic with their friends. They can enjoy a game or a cup of tea with their friends. The second section is a playground for older kids to play sports like football or cricket.
Always visit Port Credit each month and love the views, the silence from the city and the parks.
My Father's Wings- Linus LeFort 1947-2020
This place is beautiful and big, lots of space to walk around, have picnics and hang out by the water. There are usually alot of people but because of its size it doesnt seem over crowded. There is Also pleanty of food and restaurants on the main Street so its an easy day event. Parking is best done at the library, the GO station or if you can manage at the actual lot (which is probably always full). Best not to drive too close because the traffic at rush hour is like downtown Toronto.
It's a beautiful place. Amazing waterfront...
Cute...surprisingly quiet & peacful park just off busy Lakeshore. Nice walking trail along the Credit River. Complete w playground, track, limited parking. Easy acess to eatery n coffee shop.
You can spend quality time with your family with different activities.
This is the good area . Just don't forget to bring something to eat here. A lovely veiw. Best for romantic walks. And even family picnic. There's a bicycle right beside shore make sure to get pic there
We don't visit often but for 25 years they do an ice sculpture event. A great way to get our, see the city and admire talent of many, using chainsaws and carving tools... Amazing.
Amazing location, right by Credit river. Very well maintained. Many activities happen here throughout the year. There are a lot of sitting places around the river. Has a nice variety of birds. Children playing area. The only complaint though, is being too close to the train line. It could get noisy.
Having Water Lantern Festival in this park. Nice and relaxing place.
Beautiful place, make fun.
Nice place to go for a walk.
This park has awesome winterfest arrangement. Lot of ice scupluters and very good lighting around the park. Try visiting with kids, they will definitely enjoy. Parking shouldn't be issue
Please keep our neighbourhood clean so everyone can enjoy it. This is the best place in mississauga, absolutely beautiful area. The spray painting I've noticed is disgusting. Your political ideology does not give you the right to vandalize our public places
Thanks to the organizers for this special treat.
Family fun friendly place inclusive for everyone and anyone.
Great place for a festival #ShuffleOn
It's a nice place, but there really isn't much to it, not much to do here. It's ok to sit down and chill for a bit, watch the animals around and that's it.
This is a good hangout place.Market is nice. You can find many different types of restaurants. There are many different activities available here.
Great place for a relaxed stroll in the summer, and even during the colder months of the year. Nice views of the Credit River, and Lake Ontario. During the summer there are many entertaining festivals, with rides and games for children. My son especially loves to come here to play and interact with children his age.
Visited today for the mississauga winter fest. It was a different experience. Nicely done ice sculptures and everything is just beautiful during the evening when light faded. Enjoyed our evening.
Super nice place to walk around in the summer, kind of sucks when the weather is unfavorable because the underpass floods and actually gets cold when its windy. On nice days, there are a lot of nice places to grab a bite and relax. Parking isn't too bad, there is free parking at the library.
Great park located right on the water in Port Credit. Perfect for family outings.
It's a nice park to have some fun for couple of hours with kids and family.
Beautiful park to visit with kids and anyone in the family. It has play area, a small river and garden space to walk and to have picnic. One of the best parks in Mississauga.
Scenic place perfect for strolls and fishing. Elaborate walkways and cooling ambience.
Beautiful place to go on your own or with friends and family. With BBQ, picnic tables available to enjoy a picnic. Paths for walking or riding your bike. Plenty of FREE parking. Beautiful views of Lake Ontario, parks. Lots of areas to play sports with friends and or family. Coffee store ( star bucks) close by.
Big and beautiful park with nice views of the Credit River and free wifi
Fun trip, lovely place ! Highly recommended !
Port Credit is a heavenly place there is much in a little package, water views, nice parks and great food ideas.
Nice playground to have a picnic and nice trail to walk along
Such a nice location & views. I wonder the City has no one in planning and beautification to nicely maintain and improve these parks. I wish to see at least more flowers, gardens at least few fountains. Some colours and lots of lights and joy.
Went there for Port Credit Busker Fest. Very well organized, security everywhere and great selection of food.
Great park and waterfront trail is great for a walk in a quiet place. And can just relax bring your own chair
This place is beautiful the view it's amazing
Visited Port Credit Memorial Park for a festival on Father's Day and we had a blast! There was a carnival with rides and games for the kids and plenty of food vendors and performers for everyone to enjoy. There is a lake running through the park with Swans and we noticed quite a few people fishing and enjoying kayaking activities.
Ice and light festival.
Free parking. Not busy. Wish they had a canoe/kayak launch.
Big park. Little mountain to climb. Good for family visit. No rides or other amenities. Carefully park the vehicle. Ticketed if park at wrong place. Several food restaurants around if you plan to visit bring your own food and water. Have fun qith family or friends.
This is the spot to walk after eating some ice cream or after a bubble tea when you with your date .????????
Very pleasant park. Free yoga classes in the summer are a great addition!
Nice place to calm your mind, evening sunlight on the water with birds inside, it's amazing walk.....
Great place for a walk along the waterfront. Lots of little places to eat, drink, snack. Public washrooms in a few areas, in case you need it. It was really lovely.
Nice park for the kids. Lot of other amenities like a basketball court, a library, etc. Lots of trees and grass to relax and sit for a picnic for families as well. Close to a lot of food places so you got everything you need for a fun day.
What can I day about this place. Its my home field! Played many great shows there
spent good time with family. we went early morning. It was so good not too many people there... good place to spend time with family! Its a big area,.. and have small park for kids to play..
Great day being out there today. Lots of people taking advantage of the weather! I went out magnet fishing and cleared some metal debris from the river.
Very nice park you can play basketball.. Kids playground.. Nice view
Lovely park. Pier near the snug harbour is a lovely short walk by the water. It's beautiful on a summer night. Lots of places to eat nearby.
There's a path right up to the edge of the boardwalk.
Nice to see the Christmas decorations and lightnings , overall clean park
Great day for a walk
Great playground, nice place to walk with the kids & also liked the pictures and info about the provinces. Hubby enjoyed a bit if fishing there too.
Its been a lovely day, the weather was amazing we have a lil picnic at this place, CN tower was clearly seen through the park and the view was amazing!!! I would look forward to go back to this cute lil village!!
nice park to stroll in the evening as a couple during the summer or winter i guess depends on the time of season you like anytime really.
Nice park that has some live events on occasion such as art fairs and music events. Great for kids to roam around, and it's a nice small path for other activities such as jogging, biking, skateboarding. There's also a small library nearby
There is lots of things for everyone here, Kids play area, boating, Kayaking, trail ect. Good to visit during water front fastival which is great fun.
Fishing is great
Lake front at its best. Great walking trail , fishing and boating and coffee shops and great restaurants. Great place to go on a Sunday afternoon to meet up with great friends.
Great location, host to many events throughout the year. Right off of the Credit River, in the heart of Port Credit. Lots of trendy restaurants and boutiques nearby, as well as a public library. No real hiking trails but beautiful views of the lake.
Great park to walk around and see the credit river and enjoy the nice scenery
The fireworks were just amazing. The weather was great and fun times. This is the place to be at every Canada Day celebration.
We had an amazing day at the park with Little Peter and the Elegants playing fifties and sixties music for the whole afternoon. They are the best band in the GTA.
Amazing park, could get a little crowded sometimes especially on the weekend. Massive playground area, fishing, small trail to explore by the water, big area for outdoor activities, skateboarding, picnic area, canopy shelter, variety restaurants along the way and less moth (I don't like caterpillars)!! Water by the side. Wish It was exactly by the shores.. I made first bday party for the baby there succesfully! You can rent the area for $106 whole day! Couldn't be happier!
Home sweet home, it’s a good staple you’ll have to take a walk around when visiting Port credit!
Beautiful place for adults and children. Big modern playground. Lots of green space for relaxing. Highly recommended ????
Beautiful and serene environment. There is a pond, take care of kids as they might run into it. BBQ spots are there
Nice little park to take a date on a walk
Nice park with short walk along river. Connect to the other park down stream.
I visited during a particularly warm spring day. The park is well maintained and scenic, being on the lakeshore. I didn't even know they had a skate park there now. It's a nice place to go for a run or walk. Some people were fishing too. Stop by next time you're in Port credit.
The John Holland Room was perfect for our party of 27 on a Sunday. It was nice to overlook the Arena and see hockey practice and figure skating. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly attending to our needs and supplying us with extra bags for recycling. I would highly recommend the meeting spaces at the Port Credit Arena.
We are taking in free access to one of many beautiful parks in the City of Mississauga. It’s a beautiful sunny day although windy. Free vehicle parking can usually be found close by. Don’t forget to visit the Port Credit Lighthouse! You have plenty of paths that twist and turn along the Credit River or down at the edge of Lake Ontario. Nature in it’s fullest so enjoy!
Love this area, beautiful to walk the trail and enjoy the view of the water.
I used to live in the area when I was small. There have been a lot of good changes to this park. There is space for all kinds of outdoor activities. I'm not sure if you need permits for small family functions or barbeques but I don't think bylaw enforcement would care. There aren't many bind spots so the area is highly visible. Good place for family fun.
Beautiful park on with Credit River running alongside and some nice events in summer including Canada Day Fireworks
Great open place but lots of bees at this time of year. Bring your big spray!
It's really nice. Lots of places to sit.
Lovely spot for a walk or in summer picnic
I loved this place! There are so many stores and little shops that sell different things. There's a lake nearby where you can go on boat rides and on Canada day, there are some fireworks. I reccomend going there in the morning so that you could have time to explore. It's a little bit crowded though
It's very good fishing ???? night ????
Very beautiful and serene! Its a delight to sit and watch people enjoy rowing by the Credit river...Sit and watch the worl go by... Nirvana!
Perfect place to find great evening time
Nice place to go for a walk.
Nice place to walk, read a book or short walk with your dog, I enjoy setting there and watching anglers fighting to get their fish, or walking people with their dogs. The weather there is very nice and romantic, as you walk by the river. Also lake shore is not far, you can enjoy your dinner or drink in the plenty restaurants and bars in the little village Port credit. I'm in love with this place. The only thing I don't like there, that it doesn't have a playground for the kids, you want a playground for them so everyone can enjoy.
A nice park close to the port credit library. Also beside the credit river right before lake Ontario. Sometimes I go into the library and read the book in the park. In the summer many festivals are here. The Waterfro t Festival, Canada Day parade, and so many other activities. A great place to take the family.
We need washroom's belding that's necessary for big and beautiful park like port Credit
A awesome walk along the shores of lake ontario.
Amazing for firework displays really nice playground open areas of green space skate park and basketball. All kept immaculate. Runs along Credit river. Okay size.
Great little park for kids, library near by, recreation centre, path with a view. Occasional festivals..
This place is incredibly beautiful. Usually a lot of people, but, still enough space to enjoy a picnic. Many people fishing but not so many catches.
Beautiful park and scenic place to enjoy the view
Port Credit Memorial Park is another hot spot for Pokémon GO, with tons of cluatered Pokéstops and many gyms nearby. You can pretty much guarantee to find a raid there no problem, 5 star of course ;) amongst all the other featured Pokémon in 1 to 4 star raids, and MEGA EVOLUTION raid battles as well. I don't find myself travelling too far to catch what I want, mainly viewable along Lakeshore cruising Port Credit within the game's Nearby Raids Menu.
What a beautiful evening we spend. Seeing sun n moon in same frame. Multiple color in the sky Just look at the photos Orange and ping side by side. It was like two world connecting I am taking all credit in choosing this place for evening meetup with friends. We reached there before sunset Waited little bit and then gift from nature. Canal with people trying to catch salmon or trouts Some where boating Go train bridge And lake ontario. I cant even explain what a wonderful time we had.
Great place to take a nice stroll around PC, bring the kids to the PARK, shoot some hoops and plenty of good eateries that are within walking distance.
With Covid 19 lock down, this was nice to see people getting outside and enjoying the outdoors while still social distancing.
This place is so laid back and chill. The lake looks beautiful from here. The sidewalk by the lake gets you really close and sometimes of the water is still you can see the bottom. Lots of ducks, geese, seagulls, and other animals. A cool place to hang out!
Great place for trails and the water. Has a huge kids park (never go to jt as we like being around the water) lots of stores to check out (pre covid). We love sitting back and watching the boats and the people canoeing! (There is a place to rent a canoe if you want to, it’s close by on the other side of the water)
When I can to the park with the ride...he enjoyed the time... thank you so much.
This park is great for picnics by the river or just taking in the lovely scenic view. There are usually festivals here during the summer months as well.
The Port Credit ambience is simply great, very lively even at 11 pm. The park was not as crowded, but it was great.
Great place for family picnic. Large space parking lot . Kids playground. Fishing Many seating available Wildlife
Light... Winter & Ice
Love the free parking and the scenery and all the restaurants and pubs in the area. Really good place to go in the summer for a stroll or a cute date. The water is right there so you can walk down the peir and watch the boats at the marina as well.
It's a nice place ppl fishing kids playing in the park and lots of place to self isolated to enjoy the sunshine ????
Great place for rowing and bird watching. Swans and geese come to the shore of the river and feed right from your hand. Don't feed bread or any such items, take corn ir some seeds. Keep the children away from swans as there wing flap can injure them. All in all a great outdoor park. And dont forget to lay back and soak in the nature.
Between the playground, basketball court, bike ramps, green spaces and walkways and then fishing - it is an amazing place to go for the afternoon. Lots of variety in food choices, indoors can go to the library for quiet time (or air conditioning) and is overall a great place right down by the lake in Port Credit
Quaint little harbour. It has some restaurants, parks, bike paths and relaxing views. Feels like a small town. It might be the real-world place that that little town in the movie “The Truman Show” was based off of.
Beautiful park in Port Credit! Great for kids, family’s, couples, across the street from the boardwalk, nice playground nice opens space for picnics, lots of free events are held here in the summer too!
Is a beautiful spot but the sewer smell is terrible! I don't know how the apartment owners can stand to sit on their balconies
Great place to walk. Place east very clean.
An awesome park for kids for all ages , from babies to young adults, great for a short or long walks, there is skateboard park at the end near by the hockey arena. ice cream trucks comes normally around 2 pm more or less..
Just came back from the Lantern festival. It was amazing, but I suggest having large flags, or signs to show where the launching points were. It was a little confusing. Waiting in line for 2 hours was part of the experience, which we loved and didn't mind, but we almost didn't get to launch our lanterns because the clean-up crew came right at 11, and there were still more lanterns to launch. Just a suggestion! ????
Went down to Port Credit to visit the Mississauga Waterfront ice sculptures very beautiful the way it is set up all the sculptures and the lights beautiful well worth going to see
I had a really good time with my daughter and fiance. There was a fair with a midway. Lots of rides and games for children. So many food options and lots of free stuff as well. There were ducks and swans hanging out in the river which was very cool my daughter loved to watch them swimming around.
Not a bad spot at all, with a nice walk to the Bay and a video.to the lighthouse
Love the area Grew up around port credit Great patios and views and Good trails
Nice park. Wasnt too crowded at the time i went but ive gone before around 4 and it was packed. Lots of places to sit. The ice cream truck was there as well
Be careful where you park if not onsite, not worth the extra money and hassle on tickets. I have seen many getting them. The park itself is nice, day or night. Canada day celebrations were amazing this year the fireworks display, lots of vendors and some food choices even Vegetarian.
Where kids enjoy outdoor playground and walk nearby credit river
Very nice place , any season of the year
Great venue! Lots of walking paths and sights to see. Close to shopping and restaurants. Hold large events like rib fest the past couple of years. Good place to visit alone, as a couple or with the whole family
This place is my go to on a cannot-go-anywhere day. This is place is fantabulous. It’s located near a lake, displays history of the park, the kids park is very unique and thoughtful. It’s very good for running or walking and has plenty of parking. I would go to this place almost every two weeks. I just love how it is maintained and gives calmness when sitting on the waterfront benches. Place is non crowded, in a hot spot if you want to grab something to drink or eat! Give a try!
The padded play place is excellent for kids safety. The park is somehow crowded, kids enjoy the place, we suggest to add variety of games for kids. The city should somehow implement some "compassion" course for the children and their parents, in some cases, kids have to wait longtime for their turn, people should understand that this place is for everybody, and should never stay "for ever" at a particular game...
Well laid out waterfront park.
Great place to chill and watch the kayaks, boats, ducks, geese, swans and people passing you by.
Port credit its a nice place to go for family ????
It’s good please to visit for day or night view
Went there for the Ice and Lights Winterfest 2021 which was really nice.
Went there for a march against tyranny and lies. Have to say, it is a good park, has a nice library, near the lake, good places to get food nearby, nice people in the park, and very pleasant and fresh air throughout the year. Also during summer waterfront festival is there, so make sure to visit.
Nice job of ice carvings and lights.
A quiet and beautiful place. I was told it is a good place to watch salmon run. Maybe I went there at the wrong time in September, I didn't see a salmon, but someone was fishing there.
Had a good time at the winter festival with family and friends.
Great place to sit back and relax. Near the library and arena and downtown core. Tons events get placed there and decent fishing there as well. Only downfall is the load Go train nearby
Nice place for families just to get out and enjoy the day. Plenty to do and nature at its finest. I really like the feel of being in a small town in a big city. You don't have to go north to feel the fresh air. Beautiful park and really nice people.
Went to see the concert that was for (Canada day party)the park was beautiful
It is a nice place for the kids. Lots of great scenery.
A place for both adults and children. My eldest child plays basketball while my other two play in the park and ride their bikes. A beautiful place to walk close to the waterfront.
Beautiful park. The festival was great and the experience was phenomenal!
Great park with lots of benches, picnic tables and seating by the river. Also has a fantastic playground, and nearby to lots of good food options. Great for a family.
Very clean, quite and beautiful place.
This is a great park with a sponge base playground...a track for walking, blading, running or cycling. There's an ice cream truck that comes there every good weather day. Very family friendly and during non-covid times is the location for many festivals and events. Also: Pic nic tables Gazebo Skate park Fishing Rowing club Hockey/skating arena 2 churches nearby Dog friendly
Great place to take a walk with the kids. Beautiful park, very clean only the geese can leave something behind. Perfect place to view the water.
This is a nice quiet place to walk relax unwind and enjoy nature the beautiful Lakeshore and surrounding area has great views for photographs and clean fresh crisp lake Ontario air just pick a spot and meditate refresh and recharge and for those of you who enjoy the night life many bars like the crocket que, the pump house and many other quality bars and restaurants for fun and excitement and yet it is a very safe and friendly area the library is right there to study and relax so is the credit river park and the credit river hockey and skating indoor rink is at the end of the park plus thrre is miles of parkland to bike hike or for just walking there is the river and lake to fish canoe and for boating still a well kept secret kind of spot this whole area has a lot to offerthis is why I personally live and play dine and party in this area for many years now and still find new places private and sometimes secret places for meditation, reflection and still have all the shops to explore and enjoy you won't be disappointed with a trip down hereand the nights are quiet best place to be.thank you for reading my reviews and enjoy life and be happy as its all we really have peace and love to all. Please please check out my other reviews and photos
A lovely place. I went on a date with my girlfriend here and she loved it. It’s a small to mid-sized Park with some benches that overlook a great scenic view. It’s right by the lake and their are actual swans here. Again it’s a really good place to end a date and a lovely time.
Nice place. Kids enjoy a lot.
We love it here...walk the pier near Snug Harbour. Pre Covid, there were bands that played on the weekends. Structured park for kids is pretty neat. Lots of areas to walk...some people have picnic on grass as well.
Excellent social distancing, would highly recommend.
Great place for everyone to enjoy! Right next to arena and library! Parking available!
A wonderful place to go for a bike ride or just a Nature walk with beautiful scenery
Beautiful and accommodating park on the banks of the Credit River. Open a folding chair or lay down a blanket and spend a relaxing afternoon chatting with family and friends or simply reading a book. If you have children with you there is an exciting play park for them and should the weather change to inclement the municipal library in right next door.
Went to the Jerk festival. Ribs sold out. Plenty of seats, definitely would go again so I could try the ribs from Camp31 .... most persons recommended this spot
Very nice place to just sit and enjoy the water. Even better if you want to fish. Water is so clean. A very nice place very enjoyable. Lots of fish to catch.with so many local restaurants to choose from can't go wrong to spend time here.
Nice little park beside the credit river
Nice place to sit calm and to see the beauty of nature..... great place to do meditation and running.... love the place..... ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Great place for a walk along the river. Also fishing here is not bad.
Beautiful waterfowl (Trumpeter swans) in the Credit River. Lots of Pokestops here also.
Great park. Serene and peaceful. Open yet accessible
Port Credit is a place of peace and tranquility...just being by the lake watching the ducks, swans, and geese enjoying the water. This weekend am looking to the waterfront festival kickoff. There are a lot of restaurants around, although there are also a lot of road work taking place it is still an place to hang out.
It was awesome!! Walking on the frozen river
