Excellent place for a stop-over. There are public restrooms and a few places to grab something quick to eat. Playground was under re-construction when I visited, but there was still more than enough in the area to keep my toddler occupied.

The play area is really nice and its also safe! Just dont bounce the rope ladder. Also dont mind the by's revvin up da engines in da parkin lot. Remember to sanitize your hands after you leave, as the park isnt regularly sanitized

While eating on the wharf we were accompanied by two pigeons . The person who cooked our meals came out and sat at the tables next to us, and proceeded to talk about how tasty pigeons are. "They actually taste more like chicken. Not gamey at all". Unique experience. Probably my last ????

Completely accessible wooden walkways all around the property. Lots of benches in the shade to relax in. The 5 yr old with us enjoyed pretending to be a pirate and hanging from a full set of rigging at her height. There is also a playground and a splash pad to wear off energy. Lots of people arrived with their folding chairs, to listen to the live bands. Lots of feet stomping, hand clapping and dancing was had by all ages. We enjoyed ice creams on the patio overlooking the water. Great fun.

Great place to take the kids. The new playground is wonderful and is a welcome addition to the younger kids' playground next to it. It's wheelchair accessible and they've recently added musical instruments, too! The splash pad on the other side is also a favorite with the kids. It's not the most exciting splash pad (could use a little updating), but the kids still enjoy the little sprinklers and water buckets. In the summer, the ice cream shop and candy store are open. There are bathrooms there, but a little far from the playground/splash pad area. One thing to note: If you have little kids (or a lot of kids), it's hard to keep track of them, as the play area is quite big and they tend to run from one spot to the next. (The small hills built into the area make visibility hard if you're sitting in one spot) Otherwise, this is one of our family favorite spots in the summer.

Richie's Warf is a great way to spend the day with family or friends because it has something for everyone. You can enjoy a sunny day at the park with the kids and get an ice cream, go out for lunch/dinner and one of many restaurants. Or relax on the balcony and enjoy a beer or a cocktail at Veras! It's a must see for anyone visiting the Miramichi area.

It is a great place for kids to play. Clean and with the new equipment safer then it used to be. Miss the old wooden shop that was there to play on but the changes are for the better. The view of the majestic Miramichi river is second to none. Close to downtown amenities and other attractions.

A place I come to see every visit. There is a great park for the kids with a water slash pad. You can take a boat tour and learn the history of the river. Talented local musician sing live most nights. Walk along the board walk and enjoy the beauty. Very nice locals to talk to. Public washrooms are able. Ice and restaurants over looking the river.

Beautiful waterfront park with amazing playground! Wish the swings were up right now, since it's May, but the weather has been awful so I guess they're waiting til it gets a bit nicer. I hope there's a baby swing when they do put them up :) we just moved from Montreal and are so happy to find a park that's as nice and awesome as the ones we were spoiled with back in QC! Can't wait to come back when all the shops are open!

Extremely clean friendly be sure to check out the wharf eatery place all you can eat fish just breathtakingly beautiful here. Stay at the Econo Lodge it's only a walking distance to the wharf. They were friendly and clean free continental breakfast try to get a room 218 or lower on the second floor to see the waterfront from your balcony.

Great playgrounds, lots of seating for parents, even a little splash pad! Plenty of parking and lots of ducks and pigeons to watch. The boardwalk is pretty and the view is beautiful. There are public washrooms and a few businesses, although they were all closed for the summer/time of day.

This place is so special to us. My family and I practically spent our summers there. Now, I share that special place with my own little family. It's such a great place for everyone of any age. They have playgrounds, a waterpark, boutiques, candy store, ice cream shop, delicious restaurants, a beautiful walkway, beautiful scenery, lots of fun. They have music a lot of the time. Festivals. I mean, it has it all!

Great size park with a variety of activities for the family. The only thing is during my visit, only one of about a dozen kiosks was open. It looks like most of them had no businesses in them which is a disappointment. I know it was raining and we are in still in a pandemic but other than the play structures, there is little to attract visitors to talk about the place and return.

The view is incredible, but there are only two restaurants (one of which is more of a bar than a restaurant) and a small souvenir shop. There is also a dairy bar and a small stage. On the other hand, this place seemed to attract the elderly more than families or young people (although there is a children's play park). In short, you can admire the river for fun or with an inexpensive meal or a snack and there are games for children, but there seem to be more elderly people. (Original) C'est un joli petit endroit, mais nous étions un peu déçus car les évaluations google et les photos que nous avions vu semblait tellement magnifiqure. La vue est incroyable, mais il n'y a que deux restaurants (dont un qui est plus un bar qu'un restaurant) et une petite boutique souvenir. Il y a ausdi un bar laitier et une petite scène. Par contre, cet endroit semblait attirer les personnes agées plus que les familles ou les jeunes (quoiqu'il y ai un parc de jeux pour enfants). Bref, on peut y admirer la rivière pour le plaisir ou avec un repas pas très cher ou une collation et il y a des jeux pour les enfants, mais il semble y avoir plus de personnes agées.

I nice little place during the summer months in miramichi. Little mix of stuff to do for kids and adults alike. There is a mini water park and old ship structure for the kids and for the adults there is a little restuarant called Vera's which is small but pretty decent, also there is a dock to more your boats and PwC. Usually quite crowded

Honestly top 3 best parks I've visited for kids. Lots of play equipment with some verity for older and younger kids. Also only 100yrds away is an ice cream shop. Plus it's not too close that it's within sight of the playground.

Beautiful spot, but sometimes drama lol The kids and adults alike enjoy making new friends. Lots of fun to be had on the pretty much new equipment, fun for all ages and interests, although there is a need to keep eyes peeled for groups of 7-10 year old bullies. Usually a very good experience! ????

This is an excellent place to come to at any time especially with the family as there is a playground ,restaurant, and even a candy shop. During the summer there will always most likely be some sort of live music from local talent during the weekend and let's not forget the fantastic view seen while relaxing on the wharf itself. Really great place!!
