Hmm, let's start with the positive point, let's face it, the spot is perfect, or almost, to observe the sunset or the sunrise right behind Mont-Orford. It's really quite a spectacle, the residents of the area are really very lucky! It's a great spot !!! What I find unfortunate is the fact that you are surrounded by houses, right across from a busy road, and on the other side there is some sort of farmhouse, or agricultural / residential land. From the observatory, I really have the impression of being in someone's field! For example that I am accompanied by the person I am seeing, the moment that I share with them is a little disturbed by that! But, that is purely my opinion, and maybe others too feel oppressed by this fact. Nor is it as if we could evict the residents who have to pay a fortune, to have what they have. (Original) Que dire de l'observatoire de Sainte Cath... Hmm, commençons par le point positif, on va se le dire, le spot est parfait, ou presque, pour observé le couché où le levé du soleil droit derrière le Mont-Orford. C'est vraiment tout un spectacle, les résidents du secteur ont vraiment beaucoup de chance ! C'est un spot formidable !!! Ce que je trouve dommage, c'est le fait qu'on est entouré de maisons, juste en face d'une route achalandée, et de l'autre côté il y à une sorte de fermette, ou une terre agricole/résidentielle. De l'observatoire, j'ai vraiment l'impression d'être sur le terrain de quelqu'un ! Par exemple que je suis accompagné par la personne que je fréquente, le moment que je partage avec elle est un peu perturbé par ça ! Mais, c'est purement mon opinion, et peut-être que d'autres aussi se sente opprimés par ce fait. C'est pas non plus comme si on pouvais expulsé les résidents qui doivent payé une fortune, pour avoir ce qu'ils ont.

Nice surprise! We arrived to see the beautiful sun setting behind the mountain view! We are bought takeout to eat and there were two picnic tables. Kids went up the viewpoint to see higher (reminded them of a tree house)!
