So much fun! The room was great, lots of fun things to interact with and good puzzles. Our host Matt was phenomenal, got into character, was very nice and funny. Will go back to this escape room, try all their rooms before wanting to go to another one just because the experience felt catered to us and so enjoyable. Also side note, it smells amazing from the coffee house upstairs where you can sometimes get a treat after :)

This is by far the best escape the room I have ever done! We did Dr. K's and man his secret eluded us this time! The puzzles were difficult but weren't hard to the point of screaming. Would definitely recommend this to all my friends!

The staff is super passionate about their rooms. So much detail and props in the room and great decor. Nice detail: there's a computer screen in the room that the staff can use to communicate (e.g. give hints), it's a lot better than a speaker or walkie-talkie. And the staff always stay in character throughout the game. Thanks guys!

Oh man. The guy who was our host for this tonight was so good! Helpful, into character, really brought a joy to this experience. And the room had so many well put together puzzles, lots of fun. (Pretty overwhelming number of puzzles in Doctor K actually, make sure you have some strong communication skills on your team, it's easy to lose track of what you're working on). Great value and experience as far as escape rooms go. Thanks guys!

The evening of Dec 22nd the gentleman working late was very willing to solve a booking issue. He was extremely helpful, courteous and enthusiastic. Underground is my absolute favorite with creative rooms and authentic feeling props/atmosphere. Thank you for an awesome experience.

Great and awesome experience! It was our first time going to one. We tried Dr. K's Secret Bunker as we had the kids with us. Everybody had fun looking for clues and answers to the puzzle. Used some hints as well. Too bad we didn't finish it. We were close though. Awesome staff too! Shout out to Matt. Will try the other rooms next time.

Where do I start!!? My partner and I have recently caught the escape room ‘bug’ and have been traveling to cities in Alberta and Saskatchewan to fulfill our addiction, lol. That being said, we have done around 12 escape rooms in the last month and a half, and this is the first time I am writing a review. We were beyond impressed with Underground Escape, and highly recommend to anyone and everyone. The first room we tried was the Egyptian ‘Lost in Time’. The details in this room was extraordinary and truly make you feel as if you were actually in Egypt. We were so impressed with our first room that we ended up booking another one, back to back. Dr. K was our next room, which we both agreed was our favourite escape room yet. We really appreciated the details the staff put into the escape rooms, and taking the time to make the experience feel real and exciting. Thank you so much Matt for taking our Escape Room expectations to a whole new level. We will 1000% be back. Thank you so much!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. We do escape rooms a couple times a month, and this was far and away the best we have ever done. We did the Egyptian themed Lost in Time room, and the level of immersion as soon as you step through the door was absolutely phenomenal. We will be coming back from Calgary to do their other rooms as soon as we can! Give them a visit, you won't regret it!

Thank you for the wonderful time! The puzzles were sure puzzling! we didn’t make it out in time and were sadly shot by a funky alien. But the thing that makes this place so special is that we all still had an absolute wonderful time regardless at our abilities to sort through the clues. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and patient, and to throw in some personalized touches into your experience to make it EVEN better. The room was thoughtfully decorated to perfection. You can truly tell everyone who contributes to this business is passionate about leaving people with a smile on their face! So moral of the story, don’t take yourself too seriously, the most crucial part of escape rooms is having fun! (Sorry for leaving it a chaotic mess lol)

We went to Dr k. The room in itself is just supremely hard with random clues. To top it off, 1 clue was completely missing from the game based on staff error and another clue didn't have the necessary transmitter working. Kind of disappointed when you're paying 50 bucks for an incomplete experience. The staff was friendly tho, hence why 3 stars. Edit: After reaching out to us and offering us to play another room we decided to come back and try out lost in time. It was a great night out, the room was challenging but beatable and the execution as flawless. Thanks for taking the time to give us a better experience!

We took our Peewee hockey team here for their Christmas party! We took over the place with sixteen 11 and 12 year old kids and 3 coaches! The staff was amazing and the kids and coaches had a great time. It was a great team building experience and we will be recommending Underground Escape to all our friends and other hockey teams in Lethbridge!

Great place to go as an especially large group, you have the ability to split off and work against eachother, which I found was an awesome idea, especially since you can make it harder for the other team in some aspects. Only downside was I thought the questions/obstacles could have been slightly more creative/difficult, but overall really well made.

We've done all 3 escape room locations in Lethbridge and this is by far the favorite!! The rooms are designed so well and are so intricate! Bring in a basement really adds to the experience too!! We did the Egyptian room and Mr. K and eagerly awaiting the Back Alley one!

Went to this place and did their Dr. K space adventure room. The room is hard, so would recommend trying moderate difficulty level first for the beginners. Next on my list is to try their Egyptian: Lost in time room. The staff is extremely friendly and amazing at helping out. I would definitely revisit when I come to Lethbridge next time.

I've never been to Egypt, and I fear that if I do go one day it could never match the intrigue and adventure that I experienced in the Egypt-themed escape room tonight. Cleverly designed puzzles, fun atmosphere and an incredibly friendly staff. 100/100, would recommend!

The games were really fun and we liked how the rooms made creative use of the beautiful building aesthetics, the Egyptian theme felt like an actual excursion. Wow!!! I was absolutely blown away by this place. My husband and I decided to visit from out of town on a “date night.” We had never been to an escape room before and had no idea what to expect. We were so impressed with our experience here!!! The staff member was fun and friendly, and the place felt safe and welcoming. As a first timer I can say this place absolutely exceeded every expectation I had, and with the unlimited hint system it was customizable in difficulty, making it a really fun game rather than a frustrating exercise in having no idea what to do. I get the sense that if you’re experienced or competitive that this place would meet your needs, too (they had a leaderboard on display and have extra special “reveals” only for people who solve it), but at the same time it was really inviting for first time players. There were lots of surprises in the room (we did “Dr K’s secret bunker”) that really wowed me... I won’t spoil any of them, though! I don’t have other escape rooms to compare it to but I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and will definitely be back! The most fun I’ve had in 2020! (And for the experience, the price was a STEAL!) UPDATE: Having now played a few different escape rooms in Alberta since writing this review in 2020 I can say that this is the BEST one to date! Glad they gave me the “bug!” Good for first timers and experienced players alike. Five stars for sure!!!

There were more then enough clues and articles in the room for everyone to feel like they could be busy in trying to solve something! Had a great time at the Underground this weekend. The room had great red herrings that kept us on our toes and was truely challenging! Huge shout out to Matt who joked with us about how terrible we were and even let us have some extra time to explore. We were treated very well and enjoyed a great customer service experience! Looking forward to coming back soon. Note: if you come late at night and the coffee shop is closed give them a call (there is no back door).
