Such a beautiful place in the heart of our city. Biked all through the coulees on Sunday with my 13 year old. Stopped in at Helen Schuler to use the bathroom and refill our water bottles but had to take a quick look through the exhibits and at gallery. I’ve been bringing my boy since he was a toddler. We miss peg leg!

Eric Pollard

Great spot to go for a nature walk.

Andrey Taskaev

This is one of my favorite spots in all of Lethbridge. It's quiet and green, and feels very removed from the rest of town. There is wildlife at the edge of your vision, and the forest is well maintained. If you haven't been to any of the spots here, do yourself a favour and go.

Great eco-friendly interpretive centre siting in the river valley natural area. Well-kept facilities including water fountain and public washrooms. Outside, Dirt/stone Trails as well as paved paths made our holiday morning walk to the riverside very enjoyable. Thank you Lethbridge!

Eric G

Love the trails but there is so much tall grass and deadfall it looks more like a mess than a preserve. And the bugs are bad. But still definitely beautiful in some spots and there is lots to explore

One of the most fun and beautiful information centres for one of the most fun and beautiful parks. HSNC has such an interesting and fun feeling, and ever since I was a very little kid I have enjoyed going there. From all the cool and friendly birds and other animals who live there, to the beautiful photography exhibits, to the different activities and games every time I visit, it just radiates good energies. Even on top of that, it has a beautiful rooftop garden full of native plants and information.

This place is awesome. Just be aware of snakes. My wife almost stepped on one. There are lots of animals and deers. I almost made a deer friend once. We also saw 3 deers running across the path as if chased by someone. We thought it may be a cougar. But couldn't see any. Nevertheless, this place just by the river so close to the city is a nature lover's dream.

The Nature Preserve is a great place to spend some time with small children. They have a several interactive displays where you can learn about the natural environment of the area. Be sure to visit the roof. If you're up there when nobody else is around it's a great place to sit and relax. You can emerse yourself in the atmosphere.

Beautiful and most times peaceful, the Nature Reserve makes for a great place to take to kids and teach them a little about our local ecosystem. Just beware I had run into an addict down there and he decided to harass and follow me and a friend, so just be careful down there and dont let bad people ruin the experience

Sean Leverett

Magnificently varied, and contains dozens of trail and walking combinations. The ever-changing elements are awe inspiring, and specifically if you catch a view of the large family of deer in the area. I was surprised to hike through the bad lands, along a rocky beach, and on sand ledges, all in one journey!

Absolutely love going there. The paths are so easy and you can go tubing on the river. History lessons along the paths as well. The centre itself and the staff are great to. It's a must. Day use areas available there. Fire pits, and BBQ tops. The pics you can get here any time of day or night are fabulous. Hope you all go. It's worth it ????
