REVIEWS OF Helen Schuler Nature Centre IN Lethbridge

Richard Boulet

Staff is friendly, exhibits are clean. My daughter enjoyed herself and we saw plenty of wildlife despite only doing the shortest loop on the trail.

Couleehiker

Wonderful facility within the River Valley of Lethbridge. The exhibits change with enough frequency that there's always something new to see. The volunteers are always helpful. The trails within the nature reserve are well maintained in the summer but not cleared in the winter. There's always wildlife to see within the nature reserve. Deer, birds, porcupines are just a few. This facility is a gem within the City of Lethbridge.

What a wonderful place. The Helen Schuler Nature Centre and the Elizabeth Hall wetland do an excellent job furthering the dreams of these grand ladies. Their biggest aspiration was to bring nature into the lives of as many people as possible. Well done!

Wonderfully peaceful place to go for a walk with your family or children. My daughter loves it here. We go often when the weather is great and we need some fresh air.

An engaging community hub. They have a program for youth this spring - finding birds’ eggs they have marked on a colourful sheet. Considering the visitor centre is closed due to COVID-19, I found this especially impressive. The views of the Bridge from here are stunning. Lovely outdoor auditorium/stage/seating area for performances during regular seasons. I hope to return when able!

Kala Walton

This is a beautiful hidden gem of Lethbridge, the park itself has so many wonderful trails to enjoy and the centre has so many resources and activities. We have recently enjoyed their new adult classes, we went to a printmaking class and had so much fun! It was also very affordable! Would recommend to anyone young and old, they always have lots going on for young families which is great to see!

Kim Siever

Lots to learn here, and the staff are always so willing to help and make children’s experience positive.

Chris Torres

What a wonderful spot to get information on our local river valley. They have guided tours and an excellent place to take kids. Couldn’t believe they do this by donation only.

Wayne Schellhorn

Nice place to go for a morning walk. Very relaxing.

The Helen Schuler centre is one of my family's favourite places in Lethbridge. It is in a beautiful location in a protected cottonwood forest down in the coulee, where you can go on great walks. It offers super exhibits with tons of information. We recently went on one of the family field trips offered by the centre and there were lots of interesting facts for all ages. We are very lucky to have this centre!

RICHARD CHENG

It brought me a bit closer to nature.
